Damariscotta Lake Farm was the first and only choice for our wedding day! Perfect backdrop to the most wonderful day, the space perfectly fit the size of our wedding and we loved being able to stay on site to set up early and get ready without having to travel! Tracey and her team were absolutely amazing, from giving us vender recommendations at the start of planning two years prior, to helping us clean up at the end of the wedding night. Our entire wedding party and guests raved about how beautiful the reception space ended up after decorating. We can't recommend the DLF enough! Reviewed on 28-10-2023
Corynne Federman(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 11-06-2022 I got married in June 2022 at Damariscotta Lake Farm (DLF) in Jefferson, ME. As a Jefferson resident, I was excited to see DLF under new ownership after it had been closed for some time. I had seen parts of the property while under the previous management, but Tracey and her team completely revamped it. They created a beautiful, rustic yet classy, comfortable space that was the backdrop of one of the best days of my life. I was Tracey's first bridal client, and she was an absolute joy to work with- it felt like planning my wedding with a friend. Her patience and flexibility were so appreciated as we both navigated unfamiliar territory together. My family and I had the luxury of renting the entire affixed farmhouse, so it was amazing to be able to be on the property the entire week before my event. Tracey was so helpful during the set up / decorating process and courteously catered to the needs of myself and family all week, including giving us access to the venue so we could decorate at a slower pace. When the day of the event came, it was so heart-warming to see Tracey just as excited as we were. She filled the role of my “day of coordinator” and worked with all my vendors to ensure they had what they needed, and the day was as stress-free as possible. The venue has such a cool layout and very comfortably fit my 80+ guests (and could have fit more). We utilized the event room for formal dining, the deck for cocktail hour and dancing, and the beautiful lawn/and wooded spots for our ceremony and outdoor games/mingling. Additionally, there are some incredibly beautiful backdrops outside for amazing wedding photos. Tracey and her team jumped right in to help clean up once the event was over, which made it so much easier to do the rest of the clean up the following day. Having my wedding at DLF was the absolute best choice I could have made, and I couldn’t be more grateful to Tracey and her team for helping to give me a beautiful wedding day. Reviewed on 09-08-2022
Kandi Winchenbach(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-09-2012 This little B&B is located on a farm yet boasts a beautiful of Damariscotta Lake. The atmosphere is intimate and fun. The owners allow one's creativity and vision take off with as much assistance as wanted. The food is excellent and the service is phenomenal. They have tables and chairs available for rent. They are also willing to coordinate linens and other vendors to make your wedding experience as easy as possible. I would caution that the indoor space is a tad small for larger weddings, however, the outdoors can accomodate many or a combination of the two works wonderfully as well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
