The Dappled Willow is a historic farmstead venue located near Darlington, IN. This venue is nestled amidst 12 acres of countryside and is home to 2 wooden post and beam barns, a restored farmhouse and log cabin. The scenic surroundings and beautiful buildings set the tone for rustic celebrations and memorable moments between loved ones. Every inch of Dappled Willow’s grounds exude fairy tale charm and rural enchantment. Ceremonies are held in the garden, with wooden benches and an arbor provided by the team. The wood post and beam barn is a striking backdrop for photo ops and outdoor ceremonies. The classic American barn was built in 2019 and features pristine white paintwork that creates a fitting backdrop for romantic occasions. The beverage barn is ideal for post-nuptial toasts and cocktail hours, where guests can mingle on the grounds and inside while you explore the grounds for photographs. Evening receptions are held in the main barn, with a capacity for up to 225 seated guests. Smaller events are also curated at this venue. Wedding parties can stay overnight in the farmhouse and log cabin and experience the tranquility of the Dappled Willow in elegantly appointed guest rooms. Chad and Callie Leader invite to-be-weds to celebrate their unique love stories at their charming farmstead.

I cannot recommend this venue enough. The Dappled Willow was the most magical venue. We rented the entire property from Friday 9:30 am to Sunday 11:00 am and it was well worth it. The owners are proactive, communicative and thoughtful. They allowed us in the venue on Friday at 9:30 ish am and allowed us to set up and unpack without being over bearing. We were trusted and respected with renting the space. We held our laid back rehearsal dinner at the venue ( we brought in outside food) and everything went smoothly. We just had to take out the trash and we were good to go! Callie (one of the owners) is extremely kind and patient. Callie checks in to make sure if you need anything and thinks of factors you may not have considered. Callie is kind and professional. Anytime I had a question, Callie would answer in a timely and informative manner. Callie is a huge positive to this already gorgeous venue. The venue itself is so breathtaking that I did not use too many decorations. The grounds are in full bloom in June. The way that the venue is setup is open and inviting to all guests and respects guests disabilities. We had around 200 guests and everyone had ample parking space. I cannot recommend this venue enough.

The Dappled Willow is the absolute PERFECT wedding venue. We have so many good things to say about them. First of all, the property is gorgeous!! They have created a beautiful little oasis out in the country, with the farmhouse, log cabin, two barns, ceremony space and beautiful woods and landscaping for photos. Everything is SO clean and all the details are beautifully decorated, down to the bedrooms in the farmhouse and log cabin. There is plenty of space to accommodate over 200 guests (we had 215). The food and bar can be set up in the small beverage barn, which frees up so much space in the main barn (and keeps it quieter)! They have plenty of supplies you can use, and were extremely helpful with the setting up and tearing down process. We would have been happy with just the venue, but we also had the best experience working with Callie. She went above and beyond to make our day perfect. She was SO responsive, helpful, calm and on top of all the little details. She answered so many questions for us throughout the entire planning process and made sure we felt comfortable. Her and husband were there the whole day of the wedding, ready to help and make sure everything went smoothly. They were so kind, helpful and encouraging throughout the entire process and day-of. The venue is extremely affordable, especially considering we had access to the property starting at 9am the day before the wedding and got to sleep our entire wedding party there as part of our package! They were also very up-front about all the costs, what was included in the package, etc. We knew exactly how much we needed to pay when we booked the venue, and that didn’t change once throughout the entire process. We even accidentally overpaid at one point and hadn’t caught the mistake, and Callie caught it and refunded us! In all, we could not be more thankful to work with such honest, kind and organized people. The Dappled Willow is an absolutely beautiful venue, and working with Callie made our entire process so much smoother and more enjoyable. We couldn’t recommend them enough!!

We were looking for a reasonably priced venue in a location not too far from Carmel and not too far from Greencastle. Dappled Willow ended up being such a beautiful venue that met our needs and wants. Being able to use any catering was important to us and honestly rare to find. Dappled Willow enabled us to have Chipotle at our wedding. Such a hit with our guests! My bridal party and I stayed in the farmhouse the night before the wedding which was so sweet and special. Callie was great to work with and was extremely present on the day of the wedding. Overall, my husband and I are so happy with having had our wedding here. Our pictures turned out beautiful and we had so many different locations to take photos, both inside and out. We were nervous with a November wedding but the barn is heated. The grass was still green and the flowers were still beautiful regardless of the season. Highly recommend in all aspects!!

The Dappled Willow was the most perfect venue! It was a quaint venue with 2 white barns...Callie was so awesome and responded to all of my questions very quickly and made the day run so smoothly. If you're looking for a rustic, barn wedding, this venue is the place to go! I would highly recommend getting the farmhouse and cabin...they're adorable and it was so fun to be able to stay the night on the venue property before the wedding!!

Our wedding here was absolutely perfect! It was spacious, relaxing, and beautiful. I love the use of the two separate buildings. It split the space up nicely. All of our guests enjoyed the reception space as well as the patio area.

The Dappled Willow was the perfect venue for our wedding! Callie made the entire process of touring and booking the barn and farmhouse seamless. Located between Indianapolis and Lafayette, the venue is convenient yet far enough away to feel secluded and private, especially during the outdoor ceremony. Definitely recommend staying overnight in the farmhouse with all your bridesmaids. We had a wonderful time and it made getting ready convenient and stress free for the bridal party. The farmhouse was wonderful for photos and made the day flow well. I highly recommend the Dappled Willow and couldn’t ask for a better wedding venue!
