From elegant to eclectic, classic to funky, our venues and services are as unique as each bride. Our expert staff caters to your desires, working with you to realize your wedding vision for parties ranging up to 250 guests. Onsite & outdoor wedding locales include a romantic live oak dripping with picturesque Spanish Moss, ideally situated near the water. Reception venues include the Carolina Ballroom and the Tabby Room. Our event venues overlook the Morgan River, but our staff overlooks nothing.

USE THEM!!!! Truly the most amazing experience. The venue is stunning, the food was beyond wonderful, and the staff are so kind and accommodating. I live in Texas and wasn't able to make it out there before the wedding but I didn't' even need to with how helpful and good the teams here are. Honestly couldn't have picked a better venue- 1000% use them!

Dataw Island Club was a dream come true for our wedding. We were looking to have our ceremony outdoors and our reception indoors, with the ceremony being near/ under a big oak tree. After some online research, I found this beautiful place! Abby, their onsite coordinator, was great as we were planning a wedding from across the country. She even made it possible for our favorite wine to be ordered in to be served at our reception! We were so thankful for everything at Dataw Island club- from the initial look and the tasting for the menu- which was delicious. To the ballroom being all set up by our rehearsal time the day before- which helped my nerves as our travel plans had been messed up. The Tabby Room was a spacious room for my bridesmaids and I to get ready in the day of, and then came in handy for after the ceremony so the whole bridal party could eat and catch their breathe prior to the reception.I would recommend this venue to all who are interesting in being married under at Oak Tree or want the Charleston feel without the HUGE Charleston price tag. Thank you to all the staff who put in work to make our day so great!

Dataw Island Club was a dream come true for our wedding. We were looking to have our ceremony outdoors and our reception indoors, with the ceremony being near/ under a big oak tree. Words can't even describe how perfect this venue truly is. All of our wedding guests voiced how BEATIFUL the venue was and how they have never seen anything like it. (I am originally from Beaufort, SC and my grooms family is from VA )Abby and her staff is top notch! If you are looking for a beautiful lowcountry wedding I highly recommend Dataw Island.

The venue is absolutely gorgeous and the staff were phenomenal. However, our site coordinator who handles the events at the venue was very unresponsive and at times difficult to work with. If I were to do it all over, I likely would have picked a different venue.

We were married a few weeks ago at the Dataw Island Club. Our ceremony was outside in front of the beautiful oak tree overlooking the marsh and the reception was inside the Carolina Ballroom. We looked online for weeks for \"the perfect venue\" and my husband randomly found Dataw online. We couldn't find too much about it online so we planned a time to come out and see if that was a good or bad thing! Dataw ended up being the first and last venue we visited and fell in love the moment we drove in. The vibe is classy, elegant, and super laid back all at the same time (you feel super welcomed). The reason we felt so much at home is because of Abby Rodgers the special events coordinator at Dataw Club. She is the kind of person you meet and immediately feel relaxed and like you've known her forever. She recommended our band, our wedding coordinator, and the catering company who did our rehearsal dinner. All perfect choices for us. Abby has a unique and talented gift to meet you and know what you like or don't like. She directed everything along with our wedding coordinator Meagan Spachman (Stella Jane Events)- they made a great team. Abby did several \"special touches\" like have a private room for my husband and I to have a moment after the ceremony to eat and relax before walking into the reception. We will never forget that time together it was so special. We had gorgeous weather for our wedding however, I was completely at ease knowing Abby would have gone above and beyond to organize another plan. The rest of the staff at Dataw were also very courteous including the chef who did an amazing job on the food. Dataw is a classy venue with beautiful/natural scenery. It was perfect and we had the wedding of our dreams!!!

I knew that Dataw was the perfect location for our wedding from the very first time I saw pictures online. Planning a destination wedding in Beaufort from Ohio was not easy but Ashley, our coordinator there for most of the time, made the reception planning part seamless. Although she resigned shortly before the big day, she had been there every step of the way and provided advice and helpful suggestions. We arranged numerous visits, tastings, and general planning meetings. After she left, we met with Demeeka. She was absolutely phenomenal and made sure my Husband received sweet corn bread as he requested. We were also very impressed that Phil was very thoughtful and delivered my husband’s favorite beverage without him even asking. The actual night was magical and exactly how I envisioned our day to be. Our guests still tell us how friendly and professional the servers at Dataw were and how delicious the food tasted. Highly recommend!

Dataw Island is a little known secret...but one of the most gorgeous and inviting places I've ever been. My guests were blown away by the clubhouse and amazing views of the low country marsh. The best part of getting married on Dataw is getting to work with the event coordinator, Ashley. She's extremely professional, responsive, knowledgable, and put me at ease every step of the way. Every one of my guests raved about the smooth flow of the events, the amazing food, and the overall feel and experience of being on Dataw. I can't imagine getting married anywhere else!

I am a photographer in the area. Although I have not had the opportunity to photograph a wedding at this location, I did have the opportunity to photograph an extended family session here. The area is simply stunning. It's like a hidden gem that I had never been acquainted with until this session. I would strongly suggest looking into this venue for your wedding. The clubhouse is gorgeous and the surround areas provide amazing photo opportunities as well.
