Daughterâs Barn offers a unique destination for all your wedding and event needs, nestled in the heart of the charming train town of Folkston, Georgia. The hand-constructed 3200 square ft rustic barn finds is situated on nine manicured acres in Southeast Georgia. For a number of years, Folkston residents called the city the "Marriage Capital of the World." With handcrafted benches, wooden wedding arbor outside in the meadow, you will have plenty of room for all your guests. The 9-foot, hand made pine tables and benches inside the barn are nestled under the eaves, softly lit by our chandelier. You may hear the whistle of trains, the songs of cardinals and the rustling of cedar branches carried by the breeze through the barn. The sweet scent of magnolia blossoms and azalea bushes, along with the natural beauty of Southeast Georgia's lush landscape will surely enhance your countryside experience. Outside, the yard games, firepit and convenient restrooms provide your guests with a charming and fun experience on your special day. Inside the barn, you can utilize our built-in bar, vintage sweetheart table, and our new floor to get the party gets started! The bridal party has space to prepare for the big day in two special getting-ready spaces: the repurposed train car lodge for the gentlemen (within 10 minutes of the property) and our BRAND NEW, handcrafted bridal suite which is ON the property, right behind the barn. This family-owned wedding venue works with you to make sure that your wedding is all that you dreamed it would be. They will do anything to make sure you're stress-free by providing a variety of services. I had my wedding at Daughterâs Barn, and I have to say it was the most special day of my life. Wendy and her team go above and beyond what we could have ever expected. The day could not have gone more perfect. The setup is amazing, and the whole location is dedicated to your wedding. The Daughterâs Barn team works like a well-oiled machine. I felt like part of their family by the end of the night. You can NOT beat this place. They provide everything, and price is a steal!

Everything about our wedding here was just so amazing. Wendy goes above and beyond to make sure whoever is using her venue is taken care of. Any questions I had or problems I ran into she was a quick text or call away. I never once felt like I was being taken advantage of and if anything she really does know A-LOT and will help you make the best decisions for your big day. She will also become a lifetime friend! â€ïžI also want to praise Julie! She will be your saving grace. I did not have to worry about my wedding party not knowing what to do because I had her making sure they were in their places and knew where to go. & Shoutout to Jade who was slangin those drinks all night and is also apparently my music soul sister! You rock and weâre amazing!!I really canât praise them enough but I can definitely highly recommend having your wedding or event at Daughters Barn. I will forever be grateful for Wendy and her team. I have so much love for them and everything they do to make everyoneâs day so special! I wish I could relive that night over and over again. It was just so much fun!! đ„°đ„°

Let me start by saying, my wedding day was the absolute best day of my life and I truly thank Wendy for everything she did for me before, during, and after that day! I decided to make the trip from South Florida all because of her beautiful venue and hospitality. She guided me every step of the way from choosing vendors to deciding how to decorate and everything in between. Wendy is a breathe of fresh air when it comes to the stress of wedding planning. The day of my wedding was just icing on the cake! Wendy and her team made sure every little detail was perfect and exactly how I had dreamed. I cannot recommend this venue and everyone that worked the day of our wedding enough. They made our day special and really helped with my nerves by coordinating the day. The She-Shed was my favorite part because they decorated based on my colors with their own decor. I didn't have to haul a ton of decor after! If you are looking for an affordable, GORGEOUS venue with AWESOME people look no further! Thank you Wendy, Jade, Julie and everyone else who helped make our day special.

I cannot recommend this venue and everyone that worked the day of our wedding enough. They made our day special and really helped with my nerves by coordinating the day. My husband and I picked Daughter's Barn for our wedding (March) and it could not have been more perfect. The barn is rustic and beautiful. The staff caters personally to your every need. Wendy worked with me and gave me everything I ever dreamed of for a wedding venue. She doesn't just do this for money, she makes it a personal experience for every family and wants to truly know you and make you part of her family. Logistically, the barn is a great size, stunning, has lighting, fans/heaters if needed, and even comes with every item of decor you could ever want. However, my favorite part about this venue was the personality of all those who helped make the day perfect. Wendy and her friends are all family now and I could not possibly recommend this venue any more.đ€

Oh man, where do I start. I could go on and on about how beautiful this venue is but you can tell all of that from the photos! What I really want to leave a review on is Wendy and her team. This wonderful woman and her staff are an absolute pleasure to work with. Wendy went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us. We had major hiccups with our wedding coordinating that we hired and Wendy saved the day multiple times. Wendy met with me several times prior to the wedding to make sure our vision came to life. She was there when our hired wedding planner was not. She is a powerhouse & I canât recommend her, her staff, and her venue enough. She offers a package with planning I definitely recommend that. She knows her venue best. Our day was perfect because of her attention to detail and hard work. She is has a âget it doneâ & friendly attitude that made me feel 100% at ease. If you want a gorgeous wedding that runs smoothly I highly recommend Daughterâs barn! I would do it all over again just to work with Wendy! One last thing, hire from her recommended vendor list! The barn (and Wendy!) are absolutely amazing! Booked her over a year out for our December wedding - always willing to answer any questions I had at any point during the entire process which was very helpful as I was in the process of leaving home for Iowa. She provides everything you could possibly need (and more!) for your day and is constantly making improvements to the barn and experience her brides have there. Price was so reasonable compared to others especially when you look at all youâre getting. I even used all of the vendors that she recommended (food, cake, music, decor, photography) and regretted absolutely nothing! Best team EVER! If youâre worried about the size of the town (I was) donât be! So many adorable bed and breakfasts, cabins, air bnbs to choose from plus we got a bus from Fernandina Beach to there and back which turned out awesome as well. Love love love the experience we had at Daughterâs Barn and would recommend it to anyone and everyone. We even had MANY guests eyeing the place for their own weddings in the future!

I stumbled upon Daughters Barn shortly after my fiancĂ© and I were engaged. I had a tight budget and thought the romantic barn vision was nearly out of the question, until a friend of mine mentioned a new wedding venue in her hometown. I immediately googled the venue, read through the story behind the barn (which pulled at my heart strings for sure), and called Wendy on my lunch break. The next morning, after a 12-hour shift, my fiancĂ© and I were on our way to GA from Jacksonville before 7am.As soon as Wendy met us out in front of the barn doors, any hesitation we felt was gone. We were sold in a few minutes. Wendyâs outgoing and caring personality shines through in all she does. She goes above and beyond to answer any question and reach out to countless contacts to make sure your special day (and the process leading up to it) is as smooth and stress free as possible. Wendy and her family have taken a forgotten small plot of land and created magic with Daughters Barn.The venue is the perfect sight for romantic country chic weddings: twinkle lights everywhere, rustic seating, handmade wooden tables and benches, and plenty of room for outdoor games and ceremony space. I appreciated Wendyâs straightforward wedding packages and pricing as well her flexibility and recommendations when it comes to vendors. Her professionalism and responsiveness is on point.Julie, the day of coordinator, is another angel of Daughters Barn. I gave Julie my vendor list and rough timeline a few weeks before my wedding. I started grad school a few months before that and fell into a very tough week of demanding assignments, exams, ect before the wedding. The weeks leading up to the big day are by far the most stressful. Julie was there to find solutions and coordinate with vendors when I did not have the brainpower or emotional stamina to do so. Julie made it possible for me to put my phone away the day before and the day of my wedding so I could fully find myself present in those moments.Looking back four days later, it was a whirlwind for sure. I could not have asked for a more perfectly fitting and magical day. I miss that barn and family and community behind it. I will forever hold Daughters Barn in my heart.If you are bride looking for the magic of a small town and rustic barn tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, Daughterâs Barn is your venue! I loved my wedding and the barn was gorgeous! Wendy and Julie did an amazing job and turned my ideas into reality! They made the whole planning process so much easy and really treated me just like a daughter! They both went above and beyond to make my day perfect!!

The barn was absolutely gorgeous rustic yet elegant. Wendy and her team were amazing at accommodating all our our needs. The restrooms were adorable and well kept. I loved everything about this wedding venue. I couldnât have picked a better place to get married.

Wendy Hernandez (Owner) Originally from sunny Palm Beach County, Florida, Wendy is here to help make your dream of an enchanting, rustic wedding experience become a reality in the heart of Folkston, Georgia. We are located on the FL/GA line and assessable for all. We opened our hand built barn in June of 2017 and our sweet barn just took off. The barn is home to 21 custom built farm tables and benches.
