Where History Meets Modern Elegance

David’s Country Inn is a wedding venue located in Hackettstown, NJ. The Victorian mansion built in 1840 stuns visitors with its elegant two-story ballroom and stained-glass ceiling. Adorned with antique furniture and decor, this hidden gem is sure to delight both couples and guests. The inn is nestled in historic Hackettstown, blending in perfectly with other landmark buildings in the area. First built in 1787, the building was named The Warren House after General Joseph Warren, a Revolutionary War hero. The 24-room inn that now stands was constructed in 1840. Following its use as an inn, it was purchased by Louis Falzarano, Jr. and his wife, Theodora, in 1978. The Falzarano family transformed it into a wedding venue. Their children, Christopher and Jordan, now operate the inn in order to preserve their parents’ legacy. Upon acquiring the mansion, the Falzaranos carried out renovations on the property to preserve and restore its historic features. The newly completed outdoor patio, complete with a stone hearth and wooden pergola is a gorgeous choice for on-site ceremonies and cocktail hours. The interior’s Victorian foundation is accented with art nouveau details, including the ballroom’s stained glass ceiling. Glittering chandeliers and warm, dark hardwood floors add an air of sophistication to the venue. The 18th-century mahogany bar and baby grand piano in the parlor room provide the perfect vintage space for cocktail hour. David’s Country Inn adheres to a one-event-per-day policy so couples and their guests enjoy the utmost privacy on their special day. They accommodate both indoor and outdoor ceremonies and receptions. The idyllic country estate can host weddings of up to 215 attendees, though small celebrations are equally as stunning. The cozy Warren Suite is available for the wedding party to get dressed on-site. Renovations to the 1,500-square-foot space have recently been completed, and the suite now has all modern amenities. The room can be separated into two suites for couples who don’t want to see each other before the ceremony. The inn’s chef has been serving weddings for over a quarter of a century and curates custom menus prepared on-site for the happy couple. Included in each wedding package is a custom wedding cake and floral centerpieces to complete the wedding day experience.

Got married Jan 5th. Our wedding was absolutely perfect. All of our guest and my wife and I have absolutely nothing to complain about because the day from start to end was amazing. The food was amazing, everything was run well. The process was stress free. All of our vendors also had a great experience working with them. We had Hannah as our coordinator and Brenda as our bridal attendant, both were helpful in creating our perfect day. We are recommending David’s to everyone in hopes we can experience David’s as a guest. 10/10 for service, price, presentation, customer service and hospitality.

Where do I begin? We got married 12/2/23 and from the moment we arrived it was amazing. Brenda was our maitre'd for both the morning and the evening. She was AMAZING. She was attentive, present, and ready at a moments notice for anything. Sarah was our event coordinator and she was just as awesome. If you needed anything, she's present and quick to respond. Both of these women made my wedding day go off without a hitch. The venue is beautiful. We got so many compliments on the food and the service. We danced the night away and we didn't have to worry about a single thing. There were no issues with menu planning, scheduling, vendors, etc. David's truly made wedding planning so easy for us. I would get married here ten times over if I could. Truly beautiful venue, wonderful and kind staff, and great party. Book your wedding here and you won't regret it :)

David's is literally is the most amazing venue. I got married in November 2023 and I could not have asked for a more amazing day. Hannah was our coordinator and she was incredible. Throughout the entire process she was so helpful and made everything so easy. The staff there is amazing. They made our day so great. I did not have to worry about one thing on my wedding day. I can not recommend this venue enough.

This was the best day of our lives and I am so so grateful to them💕 everywhere i turned, there was someone there to help me throughout the night. Specifically, Brenda was OUTSTANDING. I actually love this woman. She was my right hand man the whole night whole i had dress malfunctions lol. Seriously such an amazing staff. They really take care of you. I highly highly recommend.

David's Country Inn (DCI) was the perfect place for our vintage themed wedding. It had so much beauty, historical charm, and character. Although the venue didn't need additional decor to add character, we still preferred to add personal touches to the table centerpieces and for our wedding scavenger hunt. DCI was extremely accommodating and patient with us. They listened to everything we said and helped resolve any issues we experienced during the planning stage and wedding day. They helped alleviate our stress and make sense of all of our ambitious ideas for the wedding. The staff is friendly, extremely reliable, and professional. They went above and beyond for us and we are so grateful to them. We are so glad we had our wedding at DCI. Our wedding guests, especially the children, had so much fun exploring the venue. It was an unforgettable and lovely experience for everyone.

DCI is an absolute dream venue to get married at, and they made our special day the best ever. They are extremely communicative during the entire planning process, and on the day of, they go out of their way to make the bride and groom feel their absolute best. They took care of everything for me on the day of, and did everything we discussed. I can’t even begin to describe how great and attentive the DCI staff is. And that’s just the staff! The place is gorgeous and the food is delicious. I am so happy we got married here. Our guests are still telling us how it was the best wedding ever!! Highly recommend!!

My (now) husband and I had the absolute BEST wedding day at this venue. When we look back on that day, we really can't think of anything that went wrong. From the moment we got there until the moment we left, everyone was so helpful. The food was great! Our guests RAVED about the beauty of the venue and the efficiency/professionalism of the staff. Even before the big day, Kristian was so, so helpful, it was unbelievable how much time and dedication she put into every single question I asked. I could not have had such a smooth day with her and everyone else at David's. I am so happy that we chose this venue and cannot say enough good things. Seriously, get married here if you want to have the absolute best wedding you could imagine!

I got married on July 15th and I wanted to really highlight one moment with David’s. We had a beautiful day weather wise during portraits and it seemed the storm we were watching had blown off. We decided to have the ceremony outside. Then, some dark clouds rolled in along with some thunder. We continued on and got through an introduction of the ceremony with my brother as the officiant, two readings, and our vows. As we started the ring exchange, the sky opened up. It absolutely poured. Hannah, Brenda, and the staff at David’s ran out with umbrellas and were soaking wet themselves. When my husband and I turned around, we looked out at our guests and they were dripping wet. When guests returned inside, David’s had towels out for guests to dry off with. They took all of my bridesmaids dresses and threw them in the dryer. They took the shirts from the guys (groomsmen and some of our close friends) and gave them extra white server shirts they had. They hand dried my dress, all while they were still wet themselves. We were all very impressed by their quick action and support. Our entire day at Davids was so incredibly memorable. Getting ready in the Warren Suite was beautiful. We enjoyed the lunch there and the groomsmen loved playing the shuffleboard game. They were organized, set up everything beautiful, and were very open to any feedback that we had to make any changes to their set up. Our guests loved the look of the venue. They just loved how unique it was. Our cocktail hour was a hit, along with the main course. People raved about the food, especially the Venetian hour. The international coffee bar was something people had never seen before. Irish coffees were an absolute hit! David's had even surprised us with our favorite Italian cookie along with making Baklava for my husband's Albanian family. We were so excited about it! I would get married there every year if I could. Thank you for such a memorable and amazing night!

My husband and I got married at David's Country Inn this past weekend and it truly could not have been a better experience! We used the Warren Suite for the entire wedding party to get ready (it can be separated for the boys and girls). The Warren Suite had so much space for us all to get ready comfortably and enjoy the entire day. Our event coordinator, Sarah, made sure everything was perfect! Our guests raved about the food and how beautiful the entire venue is! We had an unfortunate event happen with one of our guests where they had to be taken to the hospital. The staff at David's not only packaged up their meals to take to them at the hospital, but went and picked up our guest to take back to her hotel. The entire staff went above and beyond to make our day perfect and stress-free. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue and their incredible staff, but if you are considering David's for your wedding day - DO IT! You will not regret it!

I could go on forever about how amazing my experience was at David's Country Inn. I got married on February 25th, 2023 and from the minute we toured with Sarah, we knew it was the venue for us. She was incredible throughout the whole planning process and on the day of. We received countless compliments on the food and how stunning the venue was inside and out. So many people from the area kept saying \"this is such a hidden gem\". Every vendor that they recommended was incredible and we seriously had our dream day. I am so excited for every couple getting married here because I know you will have your dream wedding!

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect in every way, and so much of that had to do with David’s. The venue is so unique - something that did not go unnoticed by our guests, everyone loved it. Each detail gives such a warm feel, and the staff is no exception. Sarah was beyond amazing throughout the entire wedding planning process. She was so responsive, no matter how far out our wedding was. The level of hospitality is unmatched - food and service the night of our wedding was impeccable. I cannot say enough great things about David’s!! We are so thankful we chose to have our most special day here and will remember it for a lifetime.

Our biggest day could have not been successful without the staff at David’s Country Inn. We were looking for a venue that was rustic and that had character. The minute we walked into the venue, we knew our big day would be there. The food options were sooooo amazing, the outdoor area where we had our ceremony was romantic and and indoor venue is really rustic, vintage, but also modern. They recently did a new renovation after we did the original venue visit and It really made a huge difference. We were lucky to get the renovations for our wedding which really made us even more excited for the day of the wedding. As beautiful as the venue was, I think the partnership and the help from the staff is what really makes or breaks a wedding and they honestly knocked It out the park. They provided us with A++++ service from beginning to end but especially during the last month up to the wedding. I really have to give a huge thanks to our wedding coordinator, Sarah, as well as Brenda and Brian. I honestly don’t know what we would have done if It wasn’t for them. Till this day we still talk about how much they’ve helped us throughout that entire day. Overall, David’s country Inn is like no other and if you want a unique look for you and your guest to remember, there is no other choice in the New Jersey area. David’s Country Inn catered our wedding on our property this September and to say we were elated with their service is an understatement! Our family and friends are still raving about the delicious food and overall ambiance of the evening – and it was all thanks to the staff at David’s. During the weeks leading up to our event, Chris and Brian were in constant communication with us, making sure every detail was ironed out. We received excellent service from the moment we first met with Chris to explore our catering options, all the way until after the very last guest left the party. They took such care to ensure that our dream wedding came to life – and went SO far above and beyond to make it happen (Brian even ran around on the morning of the event, arranging our potted flowers and making sure the outdoor space was perfectly elevated to suit the occasion). David’s carried out every tiny detail to perfection – even our private cocktail hour was a dream come true! We knew we were in good hands since we’d both attended a few weddings at David’s in the past, but we are still blown away by just how perfectly they executed our vision. Several guests reached out after the wedding to let us know how impressed they were with the catering staff’s skill and professionalism; we were overjoyed to learn that the parents and grandparents were treated with extra special care and left feeling like they had been VIPs at an exclusive restaurant. Our dream wedding had many moving parts and many vendors involved, and David’s worked seamlessly with each of them to ensure the timeline of the evening stayed on track, and that we never had to worry about a single detail that day. They were incredibly respectful of our property, going above and beyond to clear away all our décor at the end of the night, so it was safely stored away when we returned from our honeymoon. We recommend David’s Country Inn a thousand times over – you will see for yourself how they bring your dream wedding to life, flawlessly!

David’s is the best wedding venue hands down. The space is well maintained and beautifully kept. I was first assigned to worked with Seamus who was OUTSTANDING at what he did, but unfortunately he had to leave. I was then working with Hannah who I can not say enough good things about. You can truly tell she absolutely loves what she does. She helped bring my vision to life in the venue. She also made my wedding day feel seamless. From the point of initial contact with the venue until the end of my wedding day I was truly taken care of. My guests are still talking about how beautiful the venue was and how much of a great time they had at my wedding. The food was amazing and there was never a time that there was a line at the bar. I would HIGHLY recommend David’s to anyone looking for a venue.

Truly so grateful for the staff at David's Country Inn for going above and beyond to help us have the perfect wedding day. Our guests could not stop raving about the service and food, especially cocktail hour food! Hannah was absolutely incredible at answering any questions and just making sure we had everything set up for our day. So many people have asked how we found this place because the ballroom is simply stunning. Even though the weather was a bit unpredictable on the day of the wedding, they were so supportive when we decided to continue with an outdoor ceremony. Luckily enough, it did not rain! Having our wedding at David's Country Inn was the best possible decision we could have made . David's is such a beautiful and unique space. Our guests were raving about the venue the entire night exclaiming how perfect it was and how good the food was (which is very important to me personally). We got ready in the Warren Suite, had the ceremony in the newly renovated ballroom, and had our cocktail hour and reception on site. The transitions were stress-free and the vibe of the day was exactly what we wanted. My husband and I just wanted our family and friends to have the most fun with us and that is what we got at David's Country Inn.The most amazing aspect to me was how attentive the staff is. Special shoutout to Maggie who is the best bridal attendant I could have asked for. On the day of, when small things were going wrong, Maggie went to my bridesmaids to come up with solutions and did not come to me. By the time I learned of things that had gone wrong, Maggie and my bridesmaids already came up with the solutions. Once I saw this in action, my stress evaporated and I felt so relaxed because I knew I was in good hands. Maggie also took my decorations with no instructions and knew exactly what to do with them. She really helped my day come together.Overall, David's Country Inn is a beautiful and unique venue specifically for the couple that does not want a generic hall. You will be taken care of here I can guarantee you that. I wish I could relive my day over and over again at David's Country Inn!

I cannot say enough about David’s Country Inn! Sarah was our coordinator and she was absolutely incredible throughout the whole process. All of the staff is also so nice and helpful. The venue inside and out is so beautiful, elegant, and the recent ballroom renovations are so gorgeous! The gardens are all so well kept and cared for. All of the food was amazing, from the delicious spread at cocktail hour to the Venetian hour at the end with specialty espresso drinks and desserts! Our wedding day was so perfect and seamless at David’s. They made it feel so personal and special. I cannot recommend them more, they do an amazing job.

My vow renewal on March 5, 2022 at David's Country Inn was out of this world AMAZING! Their staff and their food will not disappoint and they made our day beyond perfect. Their new ballroom renovation was gorgeous! They designed the space to have a grand feel while keeping the charming characteristics that David's has throughout their venue. You will not get better food at any other venue and we never had a line at the bar because their bartenders were very efficient. There isn't enough space to rave about everything the crew did to make us feel so taken care of and up to date during the construction process. Being the first wedding after a major update was scary but Jordan and Seamus were on the ball! You are missing out if you don't book at David's for you special day because you truly wont have a better time anywhere else. I do need to shout out Gianna who was with me all morning while we got ready. She is a saint in human form. The kindest warmest person you could possibly want to be by your side on your big day. She took care of it all and when a jewel fell off my nail, she was on her hands and knees looking for the tiny stone (even offered to go to the store to buy me another). So THANK YOU GIANNA!!!!!Weddings are stressful enough, but having vendors you can depend on truly make it magical and give the bride/groom the ability to relax and thoroughly enjoy themselves. Thank you guys so so much!!!

We are obsessed!David's was amazing from start to finish. We were blown away on our initial tour and have had only the best experience since. Our coordinator was Hannah and she was incredible! Answered my millions of questions and helped us every step of the way while we were planning. On the day of the wedding she was there to make sure everything ran smoothly and I seriously did not have to worry about a thing! She even came in early because our bridal assistant had an emergency and had to leave. She also made sure that Andrew and I were taken care of all night long, that we had private moments together to just soak it all in, and that we knew what to do every step of the way. She even brought out my Mother In law some Creme Brulee because she knew it was her favorite. Seriously she is a rockstar!The food was incredible! It has been a week since our wedding and people are still raving about the food. The greatest hits were the bacon bar, grilled cheese tomato soup shooters, beef wellington puff pastries, crab cakes, filet mingon, the bourbon glazed salmon, and the desert bar. Everything was top notch. The drinks, the food, the staff, the venue. We also choose most of their preferred vendors which I think made the day that much more seemless. All of our vendors work together so frequently that there was never any issues, they were all able to help and guide everyone at any time in the day, and they all worked together as a team to make this the best day of our lives. Bob from Fantasy DJ, our officiant Maureen Jeffries, and our florist Calico Flowers all worked perfectly together. Seriously get married here!

I got married in April 2022 and had the best experience with David's! Here are my top 4 reasons why y'all need to book this venue asap! 1) The venue itself is so unique, charming and beautiful. It is even more stunning after the ballroom renovations! We got so many compliments from our guests and so many great photos because there are a lot of picturesque spots all around. 2) The food was delicious and abundant. Again, we got so many compliments from our guests, especially on the lamb chops and grilled cheese/tomato shooters. We also chose to do the shake shack station at the end of the night which was a hit. No one went home hungry that's for sure!3) The staff was amazing to work with! Hannah was our coordinator and she answered all our questions in a timely manner up until the day of the wedding. We did things like a package upgrade (from Ideal to Deluxe) and switched cocktail hour from outside to inside the day before, and all of these changes were handled seamlessly. On the day, Hannah and our maitre D also ensured we were taken care of. They had a sampler plate of all our cocktail hour food ready for us to scarf down after our photoshoot, they got us drinks throughout the night and even packed up all our decor and top tier cake all neatly for us to pick up the next day. 4) The value. You honestly get so much for the price. When touring other venues, we were floored by how much some other places were. In order to get within budget, other places offered to take things away. But not David's, we got everything we wanted and more and stayed in budget!My only critique would be that it is not the biggest venue. During my whole planning process, I was so nervous that not everyone was going to fit. We invited 200 and had about 170 come. Everyone fit comfortably during cocktail hour and dinner, but there were definitely times that it felt a tad cramped on the dance floor. So just wanted to put that out there for any brides who may have a larger guest count.Other than that, David's Country Inn was an absolute gem and we totally recommend!

I will never have enough words to describe how perfect David’s was. The new ballroom is breathtaking!!!! The place feels so comfortable and accommodating - it’s like having a wedding in our house. People still calling me to say how beautiful it was and also how delicious was the food. David’s holds up to 200 guests and in some point I had 240 invitations and they were so amazing trying to find the best solution to fit all my guests. I ended up with 160 and it was a perfect number.A plus “thank you” for my bridal attendant that washed and dried my dress with a hair dryer after I got soaked during the Ceremony (yes, it rained for 5 minutes when I started walking down the aisle 😫 - they had to act fast and moved the cocktail hour for inside - a bummer but didn’t change how great everything was). Also bridal suite fitted my 5 girls and 11 guys in two different spaces, full of delicious food and great backgrounds for pictures. I would choose David’s another thousand times!! 1000000/10

This venue was beautiful before the renovations and is now absolutely stunning. There are so many great spots for photos and for guests to experience. The food was delicious and left everyone impressed. The staff was incredibly helpful and made things very easy for us. 100% recommend.

However, knowing that the way my wedding was run still irritates me, even 2+ years later, I felt the need to leave the review. Yes, the property is beautiful inside and out. That being said, when I spoke with the venue, before I signed the agreement, I specifically asked for an extended cocktail hour in lieu of passed hors d'oeuvres and a buffet or sit down dinner. That's all I wanted. Everything else would have been the standard wedding set up. The owner agreed he would be able to do it and we signed. However, TWO DAYS before my wedding I get a call from the venue coordinator saying they wouldn't be able to accommodate my request and that I needed to change the set up of the wedding. Obviously, I was so angry but I was over a barrel. I didn't have any way to complain to the owner or force them to do things the way I wanted because he was on vacation and the buck stopped with the coordinator. I was also overwhelmed with planning all the other last minute pieces of the wedding that I didn't have it in me to complain (like I normally would have). Their change to the format of the wedding screwed up my timing, the order of the things happening at the wedding, and completely threw me for a loop. I honestly did not enjoy myself at my own wedding because I had no idea what was going on, due to the last minute changes. After the wedding, the owner called me to apologize, but really, it didn't matter at that point. So here's my takeaway on my experience (generally and in re: to David's): 1) Always hire a day-of coordinator, as they will help you keep on time, tell you where you need to be, and what's coming next. They can help iron out issues and answer questions as needed. But more specifically about David's: 2) If you are looking to do anything outside of the normal hors d'oeuvres/buffet/sit down dinner, DO NOT GO HERE. They cannot accommodate your wishes (both due to size constraints and flow of the property) as well as their unwillingness to anything different than the normal hors d'oeuvres/buffet/sit down dinner. You're better off going to a venue where you can create what you want from scratch or one that is bigger that can accommodate your vision. Wishing you all the best on your upcoming nuptials.

The moment my husband and I stood on top of the balcony in the ballroom, we knew it was our venue. Everything is so unique and beautiful. You will not find another venue like it - it is a perfect mix modern and vintage. With all that is included at the venue, it is well worth the price. The Warren Suite is a huge bonus and fit so many people while everyone got ready. Endless mimosas are never a bad thing. In addition, the food is absolutely delicious, and no other food at any other venue compares, especially on the actual day. The quality of the food was exactly the same as the day of the tasting. They are so accommodating, and our coordinator, Sarah is super sweet and made our day 100% stress-free. She is so easy to get in contact with and answered all of our questions quickly. We cannot rave enough about this venue, and every guest we have talked to has said it was the BEST wedding they have ever been to.

My Dad moved in with my step-mom when I was about 12 years old- not far from Main Street in Hackettstown. Since then, I knew I always wanted my wedding there.So when the day finally came, I knew I had to call immediately. David's Inn is one of the most intimate, beautiful wedding venues I had ever seen (I'm in the wedding industry myself). I didn't want the basic large venue, with white walls that look like every wedding venue. I love the creeky floors, dark wood, and fireplaces- and I specifically wanted Halloween weekend. David's was so accommodating and was able to fit us in within the week for a quick tour (although not needed) and we wrote the check right then and there for our wedding. No other venues were looked at!The pandemic hit immediately after our deposit. We had over a year and a half to plan, but it was nerve-racking. Luckily, Sarah and Hannah were with me every step along the way. Every question, concern was answered within 24 hours or less. Timelines were provided which made the process SO easy as there was no question when or what was due at what time. And when I say they will let you do anything to make sure your day is what you imagined- I mean anything!My day was spent in the amazing Warren Suite (the groom got ready at my Dad's house to give us the entire suite) with all 11 of my bridesmaids, 2 flower girls, 3 additional family members getting ready there, and 3 mom's. We also had 5 hair and makeup people and our photography team. We had so much space, the girls loved being able to relax on the couches, or have a sandwich in the kitchen and that we weren't on top of each other. The food was great! Our get-ready photos are so cute because of the style of the Warren Suite! I also loved that I had my own private bridal room for my dress and photos before my grand entrance to my bridesmaids. Once the groomsmen were ready they were able to come over to the second floor and have a drink while they waited for us. There was no issue with spacing or set up or issues with the timeline thanks to the great layout of David's Inn.Of course, we wanted the GORGEOUS outdoor area, but our wedding day was a monsoon. The entire staff worked to get the ceremony inside within a few short hours. I was nervous but it looked absolutely beautiful.After the ceremony, during the cocktail hour, the staff flipped the room in ONE HOUR, ONE HOUR! to a reception area. Cocktail hour was a huge hit- everyone is STILL talking about it. (\"Those tomato soup/grilled cheese shooters were insane!\"). Our guests loved sitting in the other room with the fireplaces, walking around the front porch and their jaws dropped when re-entering the reception room to see how it had changed.Hannah and the staff made sure Ryan and I never *not* had a drink in our hands, or food in our stomachs. We were truly treated like royalty.Overall, I could never have imagined my wedding taking place at any other venue. To quote one of my friends, \"that ceremony was one of the most romantic I had ever seen between the lighting and candles\". Not a moment went by that we did not feel like the most important people in the world, and if you're like me and want to limit your decorations, David's Inn's beauty speaks for itself. Do yourself a favor and book it quickly- because you will not regret it and your guests will be talking about it for years to come! We were the party of the year!

Getting married at David's was by far the best decision we made. I fell in love with the charm and beauty of the venue when I first went to visit, that I booked that day. The staff, especially our coordinator Dan, was SO easy to work with, and did everything to make sure that our day was exactly how we wanted it to be. Our guests absolutely loved the venue as well, they have been raving about how beautiful and unique the building is, they have never been anywhere quite like it. I heard from multiple guests that they felt like they were in a \"Hallmark Christmas movie\" because it was just so perfect and lovely. My husband and I got married at David's a little over a week ago, and we had the absolute best time! We fell in love with all of the historic architectural features immediately, and we really appreciated that they only host one event per day, so everything can be personalized. Originally, we were scheduled to get married in 2020, but the team at David's handled postponing and rescheduling very professionally. Hannah, our coordinator, was super helpful, and always got back to us quickly when we had questions! She made the planning process so much simpler by laying it all out for us. On the day of our wedding, she was extremely organized and made sure everything went smoothly; she was always right there when we needed her! We also used the Warren Suite to get ready in the morning, which I highly recommend - it's beautiful, and it makes the day flow so well to get there early and be able to relax on site before everyone else arrives. Mark, our maitre'd, was very attentive and made sure we got to eat, which was a huge plus because the food was AMAZING! Every single one of our guests couldn't stop raving about the food! My husband and I seriously hope someone we know chooses to get married there because we want to go back!!

It’s hard to put in words how great the whole experience was from start to finish. From our initial walkthrough to our wedding day they were professional, helpful, and the venue is so beautiful. They are proudly a family owned and operated venue and it comes through in every little detail. The staff was amazing and responded quickly to all concerns and questions. The food is exceptional and our guests raved about the cocktail hour and reception. We would highly recommend this venue for any event and are so happy that we selected David’s Country Inn for our wedding 😀

David's made my reception day, without a doubt, one of the best days of my life!! From the very beginning of our experience with David's back in 2018 when I fell in love with the beautiful historical venue through to our actual wedding day, we've had an awesome experience. I absolutely recommend using the Warren Suite if you're getting married at David's. It's a beautiful place to relax with your bridal party before getting dolled up. There are sooooo many romantic photo opportunities on the property - whether it's the beautiful outdoor fireplace, the antique bar or the cute phone booth . The FOOD. The FOODDDDD was amazing! Everything at the cocktail hour was out-of-this-world delicious (ESPECIALLY the pretzel station - I HIGHLY RECOMMEND) and the entrees were soooo yummy.David's Country Inn is full of history and this wonderful vintage atmosphere. Every time I stepped foot in the building I was in awe of its beauty. I'm only sad because the experience is over and I don't know when we'll be able to come back to David's. My husband and I , for sure, will be whispering about David's in the ears of every newly engaged couple we know in hopes we get to go back and enjoy David's once again!!!!!!!!

My fiance (now husband) and I walked into David's Country Inn and immediately knew we loved it. From the beautiful bar area, to the chandeliers in the ballroom, to the amazing wrap around balcony and the (what had been then) newly done outdoor area, we absolutely loved that it didn't feel like a traditional wedding venue and was historic in vibe. Everyone at David's was extremely accommodating, especially as we had to change our date 3 times due to COVID. Dan & Chris were particularly helpful and made it as seamless as possible. The food is literally AMAZING; I can't tell you how many guests complimented us on the food from the wedding and how much they loved it. The venue in and of itself is beautiful as well; our photographers and videographers couldn't stop saying it was their favorite location to shoot at because of all the natural light and that pictures really show it! It's also amazing that they have so many different spots to shoot at (like the front porch the ivy wall, the bar, the ballroom)... it literally is the most unique location and I'm so happy we were able to get married here. They made everything very easy for us from preparation to the day of. Brenda, who was our bridal suite attendant for the day, was wonderful, especially dealing with all of our family and our requests. I highly recommend anyone getting married here upgrade to the Warren Suite -- it is TOTALLY worth it and was the perfect place to get ready and take all those photos. There aren't enough wonderful things I can say about David's -- if I was going to get married again I would do it here.

Don't hesitate to have your wedding at David's Country Inn - it was the best decision! David's was one of the first venues we toured and instantly loved it. My husband and I wanted to make sure we explored all of our options and looked at nearly 30 other venues throughout NJ. After being unimpressed with most other locations, and always having David's on our minds, we went back again to schedule our date! The venue is historic and unique, offering something different than typical other venues. Each room at David's is beautiful with fun details, character, and charm. While we didn't have our ceremony at David's we used the outdoor area for gorgeous photos. We had originally scheduled for July 2020 but David's was incredibly accommodating in helping us change our date to July 2021. Thanks to Dan at DCI for being exceptionally accommodating, personable, and reassuring throughout the entire process. Definitely book the Warren Suite - our entire bridal party (10 girls, 11 guys) used the space to get ready in the morning before church. Everyone had a great time and it was special to have our bridal party spend the morning together. Our guests loved the cocktail hour and the reception itself was absolutely perfect. Every staff member was outstanding - friendly, professional, and helpful. Our guests loved everything about our wedding at David's, from the food, to the space, to the entire vibe! When you book at David's, there are so many options to choose from, and David's will work with you to make your wedding work for you and for what you imagine it to be. We were lucky in selecting a date that just happened to fall during the reopening process of COVID and David's went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. We were treated like kings and queens from the moment the bridal party and me stepped foot into the building on my wedding day (6/26/21). During the reception, the wait staff seemed to know what we needed before we asked! They were so attentive and every detail was meticulously crafted to ensure our day went smoothly and as perfectly as possible. I honestly can’t say enough positive things about David’s! Our original date was May 16 2020. Covid ruined our plans , but the staff at David’s made me feel comfortable about rescheduling. Fast forward to our new date June 19, 2021, and I am STILL smiling from ear to ear. Everything was absolutely exceptional. My guests are still boasting to me about what a great time they had and how much they loved the venue. The forecast even changed last minute for my outdoor ceremony. Dan and Hannah made it happen for us in between the rain storms. I am sooo grateful for that! The staff was sooo sweet and there for us the entire night. A huge thank you to Dan, Hannah, Lisa, and especially Susan (who served me all my meals that day.. thank you so much Susan !!) My husband and I were blown away and will never forget the amazing wedding night we had. We hope to be invited back as guests for another wedding so we can experience their exceptional service once again! :) We truly love you all!

We can't say enough good things about our experience using Rutherfurd Hall, through David's Country Inn, for our wedding venue. Our event manager, Sarah Jones, was amazing! She worked with us through every step of the planning process and answered our hundreds of questions in a very timely, professional, and efficient manner (especially the last minute, month-of/week-of questions that I asked non-stop!). We live out of state and she was very accommodating (giving our parent's an in-person tour in our stead). Sarah and Chris were so understanding and accommodating throughout the covid experience. They worked with us, rescheduling multiple times (June 2020 pushing to October 2020 and again to June 2021), they didn't charge us any extra fees, and they worked with us through those stressful times when planning a big party in a pandemic was so stressful and uncertain. They made us feel like they genuinely wanted us to have the wedding of our dreams, and we weren't just another customer. The venue is positively stunning! We had our ceremony and reception at Rutherfurd Hall, both outdoors. The backdrop of the lake and trees for our ceremony was so beautiful. The tent on the grounds was set up so lovely and the historic hall in the background (and the guests were allowed to explore the hall as well, or take a break for the excitement in comfy couches) was also beautiful and the guests were all impressed! Some notes about the day-of: there was rain in the forecast and the staff was so amazing! We wanted our ceremony by the lake and they set up a room inside for the ceremony in case we wanted (or had-to) move it because of rain. They gave us both options and let us wait till last-minute to make our decision (so no pressure!). We decided to keep it outside, and the rain just held out for the duration of the ceremony! Cocktail hour, same thing. We were really excited to have everything outside as planned, and they made it happen! They moved cocktail hour under the tent and even though it started really pouring rain, everyone had a fantastic time (they even brought out big umbrellas for guests to use if they wanted to go into the hall to use the bathroom). The rain was really coming down, but the staff made everything perfect and the guests were comfortable under the tent (they put up and took down extra side panels on the tent to keep the rain out and let the breeze in when the rain stopped). The food: the menu options were all great and there were plenty of options for everyone's taste. All our guests loved the food! And as the bride and groom, the staff was so amazing, making sure we had full glasses and plates of all the food brought to us (while taking pictures/etc.). The bartender was fantastic and there was never a long wait for our guests to refill their glasses. The decorations: the staff was so helpful! The day before, they helped us unload two cars worth of decoration items and then they took it from there! Everything was set up just the way we wanted and looked perfect! Then at the end our special day, we were able to be sent-off (didn't have to break anything down), and they had everything back in boxes the next morning for us to just pick-up. They even grabbed the random items we left scattered about the place in the rush of getting ready/ taking hundreds of photos/ and quick touch-ups in the bathrooms and bridal/groom suites. Overall: perfect!

For always being there to help with thr many questions and concerns you go through when planning your big day. Dan was like a father to Stephanie and I and made sure we had everything perfect. The venue is absoluty beautiful. The girls used the suite to get ready. Bride, 6 bridesmaids, hair and make up, and 2 mothers, and photographers. And everyone was comfortable and had room to relax. The history and ageless beauty this building has is amazing. The photos are second to none. The ivy wall, all the beautiful staircases, the suite for the bridal party to get ready, and of course the bar and the stain glass ceiling above it. The food is made in house. Every appetizer and meal. Nothing frozen and heated up. These folks can cook. We were in love with the venue venue day we went it. It feels like home, the staff treats you like family when you walk in, and you'll never leave with and unanswered question. Thank you to David's for providing me and my wife the most amazing wedding.

When we first sat down and started doing research for our wedding there were a few things that stood out as priorities. We did not want a cookie cutter wedding, the look and feel inside the venue had to be amazing because we wanted a January wedding, and the service had to be exceptional. David’s Country Inn delivered time and time again with all three of these priorities. I will talk about all three but first the service. From the first time we sat down with Debbie, to the nerve wracking phone calls with Chris as we navigated the Covid-19 nightmare, to final preparations and day of with Dan, the service was beyond what we could have hoped for. Their flexibility during these whacky times and their attention to detail was phenomenal. If feeling like you are the venue’s number 1 priority is something you appreciate, David’s will deliver. Second, the look and feel. Wanting a winter wedding was a choice we made early on not only because of the well known “off season” pricing but also our hatred and fear of sweating on our wedding day. Not a single drop of sweat was seen, mainly because it was a balmy 16 degrees out the day of our wedding. But when you walk inside David’s the best thing, I can say is that it’s so incredibly warm and inviting. It made us feel like we were in someone’s home with all the little sitting rooms and multiple fireplaces, including one in one of the women's bathrooms (you have to see it to believe it). Then of course you have the bar. I can not quite explain it and pictures don’t do it justice, it’s beautiful. The place is wonderful in every way. Lastly the desire not to have a cookie cutter wedding. We have all gone to what we call “wedding factories”. It’s like the same show on repeat just with a different address. You will not be getting that dry filet here; the food options are as unique as the place itself. We had some specific requests including a special beer that they were more than happy to track down for us. Also, some of our guests that were attending had some serious food allergies. They took every measure to make sure everyone was safe. They were happy to accommodate us at every turn and in some cases went beyond what we asked for. One recommendation if you are booking with them, don’t even think about not doing the Warren Suite. It's pricey but worth every penny.

I would like to start out by saying thank you to Chris and Dan for all they had done for us! Truly great people to work with! From the minute I met with Chris, I knew my Wedding was in good hands (I mean who deals with a crazy bride asking questions for three hours the first time they meet!) Many venues wouldn't set up your wedding day details or accommodate your needs in a 'normal' year, let alone during Covid! We were originally supposed to get married on 5/15/20 and were lucky enough they had 8/23/20 available for us to still have our Wedding this year! One of the reasons I chose David's was their gorgeous greenery and architecture. I wanted to take many pictures outside, and August did not disappoint! Weather was perfect, the outdoor space is amazing and I couldn't have asked for a better crew than the people at David's Country Inn! If you are looking for a venue that doesn't insist you have at-least 150 people, a venue with charm and family owned hospitality, then I recommend David’s Country Inn for your Wedding!

My husband and I got married at David's Country Inn on 8.14.20 and the experience was nothing short of perfect. Although the wedding did not go as originally planned due to COVID-19, the staff at David’s made a clear and confident effort to make our wedding as special as they possibly could given the state’s guidelines and boy did they deliver! Chris, Dan, and all of the other staff members showed us from day one that we were not “just another couple,” but important members of their business and that they were completely committed to our day. The food at David’s is nothing short of amazing. I wish we weren’t so busy during our cocktail hour because the foods we picked tasted great, but were also clever concepts. During the planning process, Chris and Dan spent a ton of time answering our questions and ensuring us of their plan. I am so grateful that we booked at David’s, especially during a time of uncertainty and hardship. Our wedding day could have gone a lot different, but the staff at David’s made it a dream regardless of what 2020 has thrown at us. I HIGHLY recommend David’s Country Inn for any and all weddings/events.

I had my wedding here October 2019. I don’t have a single bad thing to say about this amazing venue. From the day I went to tour it to signing my contract to tastings to the big day. Every thing was amazing. We worked with Debbie and with Chris for a bit both were beyond kind. I like all brides had a million questions about every little thing and each question was answered with ease and never made me feel like a bother. The days leading up to my wedding I stopped by to drop off my decor and personal items and they sat down and went over everything with me. To how I was the cake topper set to my photos being displayed they made sure everything was exactly like i wanted. We had a lot of different decor items that we felt were important. From a Harry Potter guest sign to a zombie drawing to stars war cake topper. They made sure all our details were perfect. Every one still takes about how amazing the food was at my wedding. It was perfect. I had the Felix wedding package and added on the slider station for my cocktail hour and everyone is still taking about those burgers! I also added the chocolate fountain station for desert bar It was a total hit. I actually ate at my wedding most brides never get a chance every time I turned around a waitress was bringing me a fresh drink or filling my plate up anything to make my day even easier. The charm and warm feeling you get from David’s county inn is just indescribable. You feel like you’re sitting on your families home which was something I really wanted for my wedding. If I could get married again i would hands down pick David’s every single time.

My husband and I just had our reception at David's Country Inn on 6/19/20. We were the first wedding after NJ quarentine restrictions started to be lifted. Not only were we their first wedding in four months, we were their first outdoor wedding reception in 42 years!! Chris, Debbie, Dan and their entire team was amazing throughout the entire process. Planning a wedding is stressful enough, never mind a wedding during a global pandemic! We wanted our wedding to happen so badly, and they were more than willing to work with us. We had plans A-Z! As soon as we got the go-a-head for 100 people outside, they worked quickly and professionally to make our wedding happen. (This was with only 2 weeks to go.) Once the day came, it was magical! They couldn't have been more excited for us. When we arrived for our cocktail hour, we had several people meet us offering us drinks and food. We were waited on all night long, and our glasses were never empty! The food was amazing and so was the staff. I thank everyone at David's Country Inn not only because they helped make our day so special, but for everything they did to make it happen! I would highly recommend David's Country Inn for your wedding reception!

Our daughter got married this past weekend at David's Country Inn. It was nothing short of AMAZING!!!!! All of the planning took place during COVID-19 and Chris was right there with us the entire time. He guided us with invitations and what to say inside of the invitation for the \"Plan=B\" date. We all worked together to keep updated on current events and guidelines. When outside dining opened we all realized that the wedding could be outside under the shelter of a tent. Chris went into action to find a tent installer and thus the wedding happened. The food was delicious and the staf was very attentive. Attention to detail was given at all times. Debbie and Dan did an amazing job as the Maitre D's, to be sure our daughter had the best day of her life. If we could give Davids 10 stars we would.

From the first time that we visited David's Country Inn, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. We visited a few other venues but nothing could compare to David's charm, rustic style, and history (and prices)! Their food is incredible and Debbie and her team did everything they could to make our day truly special. No matter how many times I emailed or called, Debbie or Chris were always quick to respond and happy to help. We received so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was and how kind the staff was; it made our wedding even more memorable! David's offers a unique indoor ceremony area, beautiful outdoor areas, and the Warren suite which was a wonderful treat for us to get ready in. Definitely recommend this place, thanks Debbie!

When it came to the actual planning and execution of the venue Debbie and her staff they were for the most part wonderful! Food was amazing, all of my guests loved the venue! I had a great time the day of and with the exception of running a quick rehearsal while guests were coming in -everything went flawless for me. My only concern was after the actual ceremony- I went the next day to pick up all of mydecorations and they left out a mirror that was my (now deceased) grandmothers. I asked them if they could mail it out to me as it isn't very heavy since it would be an inconvenience to travel all the way out to pick it up. Initially I was told that would be fine since they forgot to pack it up for me originally but after a lot of back and forth I was told they could not accommodate that. Now, after paying thousands for a venue you would think they could accommodate that small thing... left a bad taste for an otherwise amazing night.

I wish I could give David's 1000 stars!! This venue and its staff were absolutely INCREDIBLE. The moment I walked into David's, I knew it was the one. My husband and I had worked in a wedding venue and had been to many weddings, and we were so over the marble floors, giant ballrooms, crystal chandeliers--it wasn't our taste. We wanted something different. Walking into David's was like taking a step back in time--but with a modern feel. From the giant mahogany bars, cozy fireplaces, stained glass windows, 3 stories of space--it's stunning. Additionally, our wedding was in early December, so the holiday decor made it even more amazing! We were lucky to have Dan as our coordinator, who went above and beyond to make our day special. He was always there to answer my many questions, both over email and in person, and I felt completely comfortable and at ease leaving any requests or needs in his hands. On top of that, we (and my guests) still haven't stopped raving about the food!!! The options alone are incredible, but I've been to few weddings where you get both quantity AND quality. Guests asked if we could extend the cocktail hour because it was THAT good, and then they got to the dinner and continued to be blown away! It's worth noting that when my husband and I were upstairs in the Warren suite, a server brought us up a platter with all the different cocktail hour foods, because they knew we would be too busy talking to everyone to eat. It was a wonderful moment for me and my husband to relax for 10 minutes together, away from everyone, and actually enjoy our cocktail hour food. That was a thoughtful touch. Overall, I could not have been any happier with our venue and their staff. Truly, book David's--you will not be disappointed!!!

Every single guest told us how much they loved the look and ambiance of the venue, how friendly the staff was, and how smoothly the night went. The food at both the cocktail hour and at dinner was amazing! All the staff was extremely attentive to us. Debbie, our event coordinator, was amazing from start to finish! She was one step ahead of me the entire day and made sure that my vision came to life! We cannot say enough good things about David’s!

We just had our wedding at David's Country Inn on 11/15/19 and I can confidently say, the entire staff played a big part in making it the happiest day of our lives. From the very first meeting with Debbie, we felt welcomed and at ease, like we had known her for years. She has such a calming temperament and was so patient with me through each and every step of planning our big day. During the planning process, no matter the obstacle (and there were only small ones), Deb was always there with a solution and a reassuring word. I didn't have to worry, because I knew Deb and her team had me covered. Seamless would be a great word to describe how the day panned out. David's staff thinks of every little detail and executes it to near perfection! There is also something welcoming about it being a family-owned business- you really get a sense of how much the people working there care about you, your guests, and each other. They worked so well as a team to make sure things went off just as we hoped. The co-owner, Chris Falzarano, and Dan Weiss, our officiant, were also a big part of the success of the day. I remember Chris coming over to our table at the tasting to introduce himself and ask about our wedding day. It was that small personal touch that really made him stand out to me as an involved business owner who really cared about all the details of each of his clients' special occasions. Dan, also delightful, came to the rescue when our officiant had to regretfully back out a few weeks before the wedding day. Dan tailored our ceremony to us and made us feel calm during one of the most nerve-wracking parts of the day (for us personally). He introduced us as husband and wife to our closest family and friends with grace, class and the utmost charm. We also cannot speak enough to the quality of the food at our cocktail hour and reception- our guests still rave about it! We offered the salmon and the filet mignon as our main courses, both of which were delicious! We felt the filet was a little rare for our taste, but that is one small and easy improvement that felt so minor compared to all of the ways David's excelled on our wedding day. We also ordered breakfast sandwiches for our guests to take on the way out of the reception. People seemed to really love them, though not every guest received a sandwich. We only wished there had been a few more to go around because people said how tasty they were! We are so grateful to David's team for an utterly fantastic celebration!

David’s country inn far surpassed all of our expectations! Our wedding ending up being absolutely perfect. They kept me in the loop over the year and half leading up to our wedding. Dan was our coordinator and officiant, he was great! He answered all of our questions. The day of, they worked like a well oiled machine, they handled everything. There was nothing out of place. They also made sure my husband and Is drink was always full and made sure we sat down to eat. We got so many compliments on the venue and how amazing the food was! David’s country inn made our day, I would HIGHLY recommend having your wedding here! Thank you David’s!!!

Reflecting back on our special day I wouldn’t change a single thing. The venue was stunning, the staff were amazing and looked after us so well the whole day. The level of service when we arrived to get ready in the Warren Suite was great. The food was fantastic and all the decorations we dropped off were already set up perfectly. Never once did we need to check to see if anything was placed properly or had a single concern while getting ready. Once the ceremony was over I had an issue with my dress not properly being bustled and Debbie stopped what she was doing and came to my rescue in pinning my dress! All of our guests had a wonderful time and couldn’t praise the venue enough. It was so lovely to see it all come together so beautifully on the day – and that is all thanks to David’s Country Inn staff– thank you so much again! Everyone commented on how unique and special our wedding venue was and that it was “just us”. They said the food was exquisite; the venue and the attention to detail was impeccable and that it was by far the best wedding they had ever been to. One of the guests even told me that they would plan on getting married there when the time comes. Our advice to any bride and groom is to consider booking this venue, you won’t regret it! The staff go over and above to accommodate your dream day. I will truly miss e-mailing and speaking with Debbie and all the fun that goes in to planning a wedding. It was a long two years of planning but Debbie helped make it so easy and less stressful with any questions or concerns we had. This venue was so worth it and we truly had the very best day of our lives. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks and sincere gratitude to all the staff at David’s Country Inn and to all those involved in our gorgeous wedding – thank you for making our magical wedding day so very, very special.

My Husband and I got married at David's on 9/22/19, and to say the day was perfect, is in an understatement. The moment we walked in to tour the venue, we knew it was the one. We worked with Debbie and she was an absolute god-send. She answered every question, every email, every phone call and eased any concerns we may have had. The planning process was seamless and stress free. The day of, they cater to you, your bridal party, family and guests like no other. The suite that they offer for you to get ready in, the new outdoor ceremony space, the cocktail space and the reception are all breathtaking. My guests are raving about the service, the food, the historic venue, everything! It was absolutely perfect and magical. Thank you everyone at David's for making the days leading up, and our wedding day, the most memorable!

As our first year anniversary approaches, we still often hear that our wedding was one of the best from friends and family that attended. We did not want a \"cookie-cutter-wedding\" venue and David's Country Inn certainly delivered. We had looked at about six or seven venues and nothing was priced better than what they were offering. David's certainly had it all! The little intricacies that were throughout the venue made our wedding even more memorable. From the classic old tyme bar, to the telephone booth, this was our fairy tale venue. Looks aren't the only thing this venue delivered. The food was delicious! We still can't find another Chateaubriand to match the one we had at our wedding. What would a venue be if they didn't have an amazing staff. David's Country Inn had some of the best staff and managers to work with. From the many weddings we have attended, ours was one of the best, especially in terms of service. David's Country Inn showed us what great service looks like, not just good. Now that they have added a outside ceremony area, I hope to attend a wedding there again. The service to the couple is top notch, when you sign up, you will have a personal assistant to help you with every detail and answer your questions every step of the day. For now, I will live with the many amazing memories my husband and I share from our special day.

If I could give a better rating I would.Just had my wedding here over the weekend and we used their new outdoor space for my ceremony and cocktail hour. GOORRGEOUSSSThey have completely transformed the back into a classy, garden style courtyard. It has beautiful brick walk ways with a gorgeous WORKING stone fireplace that made the dreamiest back drop! The whole space is lined with greenery, flowers and plants that make you feel like you are in the middle of a garden! The back area where I had my cocktail hour has a built in stone bar covered by large wooden pergolas with fans and mini chandeliers. It really was stunning, better than I had imagined it would look! The entire staff was nothing but helpful and accommodating all night.Lisa, Rob, Debbie and Dan are the BOMB! making sure my night ran smoothly and seamless...I couldn't have asked for a better wedding :)

My husband and I got married at David's Country Inn on 08/04/19 and had the perfect day. We were lucky enough to work with Dan, who was amazing, responsive, and knowledgeable, and the entire team at David's clearly knows what they're doing (Debbie, and so many others did such a wonderful job!). Every single person we spoke with, worked with, interacted with at David's was so pleasant. Our guests are still telling us how beautiful the venue was, how delicious the food was, how nice everyone was, and what a great time they had - I credit David's with making sure everything ran smoothly and successfully. We was the first couple who has the ceremony in a new site that they just built , the place is so beautiful, we truly loved it. I hope someone we know gets married there so we get to go back and experience it as guests! It was the best day of our lives.

We got married at David's in July of 2019. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. Our entire day from starts to finish was amazing. All of the attendants and entire team who helped with our were so helpful, especially Dan. They clearly know what it takes to make a wedding day run smoothly! In addition, the food was amazing. Our guests could not stop raving about the venue itself, the space, the food, and everything else in between! I can only hope every other couple has a wedding day as great as ours was at David's Country Inn.

We were married at David’s Country Inn on June 30th, and the entire experience was outstanding. From the moment we opened the doors at our initial venue tour to the end of our event as the burlap wrapped flower favors were passed to our guests, David’s made sure our wedding day was everything we hoped for and more.Having previously attended weddings where the food was mediocre in venues that ranged from gaudy, to stale, to unremarkable, high quality food and an atmosphere with character and charm were our highest priorities. We very much viewed the venue as a reflection of us to our guests, so it was important that we felt confident the staff would deliver top-notch service with impeccable attention-to-detail.We quickly knew that David’s offered the ambiance we wanted, and the reviews for the food were stellar without exception. Still, selecting a venue can be a daunting task. We did our due diligence online, decided to take the plunge with David’s, and we are very happy we did!In addition to the fresh, high quality, generously apportioned food options and beautiful historic building, the collaborative “roll up your sleeves” mentality really set apart the team at David’s. We met the owners, Jordan and Chris, at our tasting, and they were completely present, approachable, and eager to address any questions. They were also in the trenches with the rest of the staff (including our wedding coordinator) making sure that tasting attendees had all needs met.Our main point of contact/wedding coordinator was Dan. From our first email to the last (and there were many!), Dan was very extremely responsive and helpful. No matter how long our list of questions, we always had complete answers within 12 hours, and you could feel the smile and enthusiasm in each of his replies. On the day of our wedding, we noticed that Dan not only supervised everything but also actively helped out the serving staff to ensure everything went smoothly.Our event itself was fantastic. Some of the people who attended can be extremely nit-picky. However, EVERYONE was very satisfied. People universally commented that David’s was not only a beautiful space, but that the food was also incredible, adding that they were impressed by the professionalism of the staff and the obvious pride they take in their work.

A great venue with a really lovely staff. We had initially only booked our reception here and our ceremony was slated to be at a nearby park. The day before, it looked like our wedding day would be rainy and/or too muddy for the park, so Chris and Debbie at David's were so great to work with us to move it there. It was a small, intimate ceremony so we had it in the bar area in front of the beautiful stained glass windows. I believe Chris said this is the first time they've ever had a ceremony there! Everything was perfect. All of our guests kept telling us how much they liked the venue and how good the food was (even my mother who is THE PICKIEST person in the world). I will forever recommend to anyone that they have their wedding at David's!

My husband and I had our wedding here last night and it was everything I ever hoped for. First of all, our coordinator, Debbie, is the most amazing woman. She kept everything running so smooth, she is so caring, organized, and on top of everything. Everyone at the venue was amazing. I cannot say enough about David’s! Their food is delicious and the presentation is breath taking. The venue itself is stunning. So much charm and beauty. I would recommend David’s country inn to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with top service and care. Oh and also! The outside of the venue is absolutely amazing. The ivy walls and the fountains are the perfect place for pictures! I honestly couldn’t have imagined my wedding anywhere else. Thank you to everyone at David’s country inn and a HUGE thank you to our perfect wedding coordinator Debbie! ❤️ I appreciate everything everyone did and for making June 28th the best day of our lives! We will cherish it for the rest of our lives :)

Where do I even start? My husband and I got married June 2nd. It was absolutely amazing. We had looked at 3 other venues before David’s and none of them felt “right” . As soon as we walked into David’s we just knew. WE LOVED IT. From the venue to the service to the food. The venue is so beautiful you don’t even need to add any decorations. It’s just so romantic. The food was delicious! We had a burger and shake station set up for when you leave after the reception and it was a hit! Debbie our wedding coordinator was an ANGEL. She is the sweetest woman. She answered my emails right away and was so easy to work with. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how “cool” the venue was. We just loved everything about it. Highly highly recommend. I would do it all over again and not change a thing.

Where do we even begin? My husband and I got married here this year and were beyond thankful for choosing David's to be the special place for our wedding. From the minute we walked into the venue, we knew this was it. We fell in love with its old charm and beautiful feel from the chandeliers of the ballroom, the historical wooden bar in the cocktail area, the unique rooms to travel through that told their own story, the recent renovations that made the place look stunning, and of course the awesome Warren bridal suite up top. The friendliness and genuine welcoming from Dan who showed us around was nothing like we had gotten from any other venue. We were sold!Dan, Debbie, all the staff (our awesome server Olivia!) and everyone we met were just wonderful. Dan was our coordinator throughout the journey and was the absolute best. Any questions we had, he was happy to answer. Any requests, he was happy to work with. We even chose to have him as our officiant, and we're so lucky to have had him as that special part of our day. Debbie was amazing too. Her support before and on the wedding day was great, and she helped to make sure all the details ran smoothly. We felt taken care of for sure. We had so many great reviews from our guests about the food, the drinks, the service, and how beautiful and warm the ceremony and reception was.There's really no other place like David's, and we are truly so thankful for having it be such a special part of wedding day. We highly recommend!

The minute I walked into Davids I knew this was the place I wanted to get married. This venue has so much character and is so different compared to many other wedding venues it really catches your attention. I can’t say enough about how wonderful the staff was throughout the whole process. Debbie was our coordinator and she was the absolute best! She was so attentive and told me numerous times that this was my day and whatever I wanted was fine with them. Our guests have been raving about the food and service and my husband and I can’t stop talking about how perfect our wedding was! Davids Country Inn will forever hold a place in my heart :)

If you’re thinking about booking your wedding here, DO IT! We got married here in March and our guests are still raving over just about every detail. Debbie was amazing with managing last minute guest count changes, ensuring every decoration we brought was placed perfectly around the venue, and overall just keeping everything running smoothly from the moment we arrived. She even managed to locate our missing Guest Book before our guests started arriving!The Warren Suite is gorgeous, and I highly recommend adding on the brunch while getting ready. We did a first look and photo session prior to the ceremony, and Debbie ensured I was hidden away by the time guest began arriving. Even as I was waiting to make my grand walk across the balcony, Dan ensured I was calm and knew exactly where I was going. Immediately following our “I Dos”, Debbie was waiting for us at the end of the aisle with a champagne toast.We opted to extend our cocktail hour by 30 minutes and the team at David’s helped us coordinate this with the servers and talented pianist. We even had staff seeking us out during the cocktail hour to make sure we ate enough while greeting our friends and family - I’m so glad we didn’t have to miss out on all of the amazing food. Pro tip: Get the Shake Shack add on - you won’t regret it!Every single detail during the reception was perfect, organized, and on time. Our entrances, speeches, first dances, dinner, cake cutting, and dessert all seamlessly flowed together without making guests feel rushed. Even cleanup at the end of the night was a breeze. Debbie helped us distribute tips and pack all of our decorations, cake cutting tools, champagne flutes, etc. into our plastic tubs and get them into our bus without missing a beat. This is crucial when you’re exhausted at the end of the night.This venue is one of a kind, and you just can’t go wrong. I can’t wait to see the finished product of their new outdoor space!

My husband and I fell in love with David’s Country Inn from the moment we walked in while searching for venues. David’s unique historic atmosphere makes you feel as though you are in someone’s home and the tremendous amount of care that the owners have taken with this wonderful space is apparent from the moment you set foot inside. The entire planning process was just a dream working with Debbie. Her excellent communication skills and attention to detail made working with her an absolute pleasure. Any questions or concerns that came up along the way with ANYTHING she immediately worked with me to make sure my day was planned perfectly. All of this sincere communication truly paid off on the day of our wedding, which went off without a hitch and was the most perfect day. Additionally, I chose ALL of my vendors based on David’s preferred vendors (with the exception of hair and makeup) and I HIGHLY recommend others to do so as well. David’s endorses some of the top vendors in NJ and their knowledge of the venue itself and how David’s operates made everything cohesive throughout our wedding day.The service was absolutely impeccable. David’s servers are some of the most attentive and professional servers I’ve ever experienced at a wedding. Their attention to detail and identification of the needs of you & your guests are just amazing. For example, I’m gluten-free, and one of the servers noticed I was not taking many of passed hors-d'oeuvres, she made a point of putting together a plate for me of gluten-free items and finding me with this plate, I was SO appreciative that she took such good care of me! Additionally, other comments guests made were that if a guest enjoyed a certain hors-d'oeuvre and the server ran out, they would find that guest first when they refilled their tray, making the guest feel personally attended to. Once dinner was served, the servers would even go around the room and put covers on our guest's dishes who were out on the dance floor or in the restroom so that their food was kept warm. These gestures thoroughly impressed all of our guests, many stating it was the best wedding they’ve been to. The food was amazing. Our guests raved about some of the hors-d'oeuvres such as the peach and goat cheese tarts, the bacon wrapped filet with gorgonzola, the coconut shrimp, among many other items. For our main entrees, we had filet mignon and salmon, and guests raved about both. My husband and I were actually able to eat dinner, he had the steak and I had the salmon and both were just delicious. We also did the Venetian Hour (which adds a ½ of time onto your event) and everyone was freaking out over all of the dessert options, international coffees, and wedding cake. Palermo’s does David’s wedding cakes and the cake was seriously the best wedding cake I’ve had. I will be raving about my wedding at David’s Country Inn for the rest of my life. They truly made all my dreams come true and I cannot express my gratitude enough for making my day absolutely perfect. My husband and I wish we could go back in time and do it all over again, we wouldn’t change one thing! Thank you, David’s, for your excellent service and professionalism, we will remember these details for the rest of our lives.

This place is literally a dream come true!!! My husband and I got married here April 2019 and this place gave us exactly what we were looking for and more!!! The staff is excellent! Jordan is so professional, so thoughtful, along Dan and Debbie, they go out of their way to make this the wedding of your dreams. so much is included in the wedding package and everything exceeds excellence!!!! You have to check this place out when looking for venues!!! great pricing, incredible staff, AMAZING food and service. We couldn't be more happy with our choice. We loved it!!!!

We got married on February 16. Our guests had the most amazing time at this venue. From the start they were pleasant, professional, and we immediately knew this was our venue. The price was one of the best we found, but the venue was by far the best looking. We had a Winter wedding and the mansion and cozy interior was perfect. They were able to accommodate all our requests with ease, and even allowed us to change our guest count several times. They were flexible and so supportive during the whole planning process, and helped us work through all the details. They also recommended amazing vendors. The day of they helped make it a smooth transition, and everything was flawless. Our guests loved the venue, food, atmosphere, and staff. I sincerely hope one day I can be invited to a wedding here so I can enjoy it all as a guest!

My husband and I got married at David’s just a few days ago on April 6. I don’t know where to begin! Everything was perfect and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was better than we could have ever dreamed of. The food was delicious too! We added a Mac and cheese bar, the shake shack (mini milk shakes and sliders), a raw bar, and a candy bar to our event as well and everyone loved it! We are hard to please when it comes to food and David’s nailed it! The servers are so sweet and made sure my husband and I got to try everything. We were never without food or a drink! (Special thanks to Rob for taking care of us during the reception!)We also rented the Warren Suite which is beautiful and so convenient for the bridal party to get ready.Dan was our event coordinator and he was always two steps ahead of us. He made everything simple and left nothing out. He has a vast knowledge of the business while remaining personable and pleasant to work with. I can only imagine how stressful it might be to coordinate a wedding but he never showed that. We felt relaxed throughout the entire planning process and the day of.Jordan and Chris are amongst the kindest people we have ever met. They truly care about each event they have and it shows. It was really important to us to have our wedding somewhere that has history and is well cared for and David’s checks those boxes thanks to Jordan and Chris.We would also like to thank Deborah for making sure our event went smoothly (there were literally zero issues and everyone was shocked at how well everything we went!) We had about 180 people so that leaves a lot of room for error but there was nothing that went wrong! She guided our bridal party through the ceremony with ease and made the ceremony flawless.We are so grateful to David’s for hosting our event. We couldn’t have picked a better venue and will have only the best memories to look back on! Thank you so much!

My husband and I got married here on 11.11.18 and we cannot begin to describe how perfect David's is. This was the first and last venue we looked at. From the moment you enter the front door you are met with an incredible aura of history, class and charm. The level of professionalism, punctuality, and the event coordinator taking care of little details I may have missed (being the bride with A LOT of family from out of town really left us in a daze!) Debbie held down the fort. Everything flowed seamlessly. Someone was ALWAYS available to answer any questions and always willing to accommodate us every step of the way. The food...OH MY, the food was incredible. My guests are still talking about our cocktail hour and dinner. Our vision for our wedding came to fruition that day thanks to David's. It was warm, charming, comfortable and had a TON of character. We can't imagine another venue for us. Definitely check them out, they were incredible.

Just had our wedding there on Saturday! It was amazing! From the very beginning David’s Country Inn was wonderful! Dan Weis our maitre d was the best! He was always helpful with answering our questions and even when we were annoying asking a million questions. Our wedding night couldn’t have gone any better! All staff at David’s Country Inn was so professional, very attentive, warm, and nice :) I highly recommended having your wedding there! Even my fiancé couldn’t stop raving about how amazing the night went and how great the staff was!

Having our wedding at David’s Country Inn is one of the best choices we made. From our very first visit we fell in love with the historic building and saw the love, pride, and attention that the owners have put into the venue for years to ensure nothing but the highest standards. We immediately felt the difference between this family owned business, and other locations owned by large corporations, which felt impersonal. The venue is beautiful and always wonderfully decorated (especially during the winter, when we had our wedding). This was so nice because we spent very little money on extra decorations - David’s is perfectly beautiful as-is. The food and service were outstanding. We had so many compliments on the appetizers and meals, and the kitchen staff was very attentive to the various allergies and dietary restrictions of our guests. They worked with us to create our ideal menu, even creating a new appetizer when what we were looking for wasn’t on their menu. Leading up to the wedding, the staff was always available to answer our planning questions, or talk us through any issues/concerns we were having. The day of, our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were absolutely perfect. The staff was so incredible and attentive. Honestly, we could not have imagined a better day, and we highly recommend that you plan a visit to David’s to see how wonderful your own wedding could be.

We used David's Country Inn as our caterer for our wedding at Jack's Barn, and everything was great. Chris was so responsive, nice, and helpful throughout the entire process. He and his staff went above and beyond - they even helped set up late arriving chairs from an outside rental company we used, which was VERY appreciated as the company was VERY late. The whole team was attentive and always made sure that we (the bride & groom) had anything and everything that we needed or wanted throughout the entire night. We went with the station dinner and had lots of great options to choose from, and we got TONS of compliments on how delicious the food was. I would recommend David's Country Inn to everyone!

We used David's as our caterer at Jack's Barn in Oxford, NJ for our wedding. There was no bad part of planning our wedding with David's. Chris was very professional and on point from our first call. After going over all of the options for dinner, we were sure that we wanted a cocktail reception. It was exactly what we wanted and feel that you offered a great menu. I still get compliments on the food from the wedding! We forced ourselves to have time to eat and it was delicious! Though we did not get enough appetizers! I do thank you, and the server who froze outside with us, for having her there. While we did not get to eat as much as we thought because we were in such a rush to get back inside, we appreciate that she froze outside with us!The staff was happy, kind, professional, and attentive to all the guests needs. The bartender was fantastic and very much at my disposal with my signature drink as I made my way up the stairs. The guests all loved him! I really can't say enough about David's and would recommend anyone and everyone to have an event at your venue or anywhere you would cater to! You MUST have your wedding or any event either at David's Country Inn or use them as a caterer at Jack's Barn (another AMAZING venue for a wedding or event)!!!

My husband and I got married at David's Country Inn on 11/17 and had the perfect day. We were lucky enough to work with Dan, who was amazing, responsive, and knowledgeable, and the entire team at David's clearly knows what they're doing (Debbie, Hannah, Lisa, and so many others did such a wonderful job!). The ladies and I got ready in the Warren Suite, and everyone was so impressed with the suite itself and the breakfast and lunch were delicious.Every single person we spoke with, worked with, interacted with at David's was so pleasant. Our guests are still telling us how beautiful the venue was, how delicious the food was, how nice everyone was, and what a great time they had - I credit David's with making sure everything ran smoothly and successfully. I hope someone we know gets married there so we get to go back and experience it as guests! It was truly the best day.

We got married here last night and everything was PERFECT! Our wedding coordinator and officiant was Dan and he exceeded our expectations . Lisa and Rob helped us out all night and they were great! ust got married at David’s Country Inn last weekend and it was incredible!!!! The venue is an adorable, warm and rustic house in the cute and cozy town of Hackettstown. Everyone at David’s was so friendly and accommodating to our needs and wants, especially our coordinator Debbie. Debbie was amazing!!! She helped me with every step of the wedding from start to finish. She’s so calm and helpful and always was able to assist me in whatever I needed. The wedding itself was incredible. The staff was so friendly and attentive. The rooms were set up beautifully. So many guests came up to me to say how great the venue was and how much they loved it! I highly recommend this place for your wedding or any major party! Loved every second of my experience here!!!

David's was the only venue we looked at. We were looking for something different than the typical NJ ballroom setting and as soon as we saw David's we knew it was the perfect venue. We worked with Debbie from start to finish and she was professional, organized, and always available to answer any questions or fulfill any requests that we had. On our wedding day, the Warren Suite was set up perfectly and was a beautiful and fun place to prepare for the day. David's is family owned and the entire staff treated us and our guests like we were part of the family. We have been told by all of our guests (and we agree) on numerous occasions since the wedding how much they loved the food and the atmosphere. We highly recommend David's!

Our parents started David's Country Inn in 1978. With no experience, but lots of drive and talent they created a beautiful venue with a wonderful reputation for personal service and great food. Our Dad passed away in 2009 and we took over the business. Our mother still works here, we call her our historian :) Everyday we are thankful to do something we love and to work beside family. Chris graduated from Johnson and Wales with a degree in Hospitality and Jordan from Marist College with a degree in Communications.
