David's Folly Farm is a wedding venue located in Brooksville, ME. A 100-acre saltwater farm, it offers a beautifully rustic backdrop to celebrate your love story on the coast of Maine. The Altmans took on the property in 2013 and are the fourth owners of the farm. David's Folly Farm offers numerous picturesque outdoor spots for exchanging vows. These include the waterfront, intimate wood settings, or the mowed meadow. The beautiful barn features an exposed wood interior. Wood pillars and flooring are complemented by windows lining the walls. It has the perfect romantic ambiance and can host up to 125 guests with dance floor space. The adjacent outdoor space can accommodate up to 250 guests. The barn can easily be transformed to express your vision and style. With a warm and inviting atmosphere, you can decorate the barn using a number of different props on offer, including side tables, tea light candles, vintage chairs, sheepskins, and couches. The staff at David's Folly Farm go above and beyond to ensure your celebration reflects your values, love, and commitment. They can provide a list of recommended vendors, and there is an indoor food prep area for caterers. Farm tables and white metal chairs are free for use. There is also an eclectic collection of vintage dinnerware available. An onsite parking attendant is there to guide your guests, and plenty of electricity for bands or sound systems. David's Folly Farm Reviews
Our wedding at David's Folly Farm was spectacular. We fell in love at first sight with the barn, the opportunity to get married on a quiet cove, the mix & match china for plateware, and the overall warmth and energy that the Altman family provided when we met. This experience could not have been more welcoming or inclusive and I would recommend again and again. Brooksville is a beautiful area and all of our guests, who traveled from out of state, fell instantly in love with the surrounding hiking, quaint shops, and the food scene. The communication and venue logistics were amazing and eliminated any last minute stressors that we had. The donkeys are the icing on the cake.
