Karen Collier(other)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 11-12-2021 So happy we chose the Deep Eddy tasting room for my son's rehearsal dinner! The venue is lovely, but what really sets it apart is the staff. The manager (Michelle) and the other two staff members who worked with us (the other Michelle and Eustacio) couldn't have been more accommodating. We were able to choose our own caterer (Mandola's), who had plenty of room to set up their pizza oven in the parking lot. We were able to add another bartender to serve beer and wine (although our guests mostly enjoyed the Deep Eddy cocktails...A LOT). And because we weren't rushed, we were able to have Geeks Who Drink trivia. Not many places with that kind of flexibility! Reviewed on 14-12-2021
Emily Ogonosky(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 18-11-2017 DREAM WEDDING! We are absolutely speechless with how our wedding turned out at Deep Eddy's. It's such a unique venue that our guests really enjoyed. We used 11 of their tables and had about 110 guests in attendance. It was the perfect amount of guests for the space! With the 11 tables, there was still plenty of room for a dance floor inside. Tracy (the event manager) & Sarah were so easy to work with and were beyond helpful! We had our wedding inside in front of the fireplace, which was so romantic. Our guests went outside for the cocktail hour while Deep Eddy's flipped the room inside for the reception. They did this in less than 30 minutes! Our guests also enjoyed the full vodka menu and taking the mason jars home as a souvenir. I can't recommend Deep Eddy's enough for your special day :) Reviewed on 20-11-2017
Christine Pike(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-09-2016 I had my wedding ceremony and reception here over Labor Day weekend. The venue is beautiful and the staff is amazing. We did a lot of DIY for our wedding and I couldn't believe how much the Deep Eddy staff helped with organizing and setting everything up. They helped make my day stress free, amazing, and all around perfect. I would highly recommend this venue! Reviewed on 05-12-2016
Jill Saadeh(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-05-2016 I had my rehearsal dinner here, and it really exceeded all of my expectations. Working with Tracy was an outstanding experience. She was very helpful and responsive throughout the whole process. Our guests loved everything... the venue, the drinks, it was all amazing. The bartenders were fantastic, and the manager on duty (Jason) was amazing. He even offered to take us on a tour of the facility, which basically our entire party of 55 people participated in, and everyone thought it was fantastic. Our rental time ended at 10, but our guests were having a great time and were definitely in no hurry to leave, even though I was trying to hustle everyone out the door! But the staff was very nice and accommodating, and did their best to clean up around the people that were still lingering. This was an amazing start to our wedding weekend, and I can't recommend this venue enough!! Reviewed on 24-05-2016
Hannah Shinder(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 07-11-2015 I hate planning dinner, much less an event for 100 people. But this venue and their amazing staff were SO gracious and helpful. We were able to decorate some the day before, as long as it didn't interfere with their customers coming in that day and the day of the wedding. As my parents and I struggled to hang some decor, the staff lept in and helped, with a smile! We decided to have our ceremony and reception in the same main room. The Deep Eddy staff set up the ceremony and remaining decor we provided (they provided chairs), and it was perfect. They even added in a few of their own touches, which felt like something we would have chosen! After the ceremony, while the cocktail hour took place in the distillery (very cool), the staff flipped the room and set up the tables (also provided), same chairs, rented linens and delivered flowers, and additional decor in a beautiful and timely fashion. During this time, our guests were treated to a cocktail hour and hors d'oeuvres (catered by the delicious and wonderful Pink Avocado Catering) in the distillery due to poor weather outside, which ended up being more fun for our guests in the long run! The staff was helpful and warm throughout the entire process, headed by the wonderful Tracy Beachum, the sleeper-hit of the venue, but more on her later. There are a few things to know about this venue and planning a wedding. You'll need to schedule your wedding for approximately 6:30, as the venue closes to the public at 5:00. Also, they really want folks out around 10 - 10:30, so take note of that. They have great audio for music, but you'll need to rent a microphone and speakers (go to Rock N Roll Rentals, under $40 for both). They provide great round tables and chairs (and very cool additional side tables), though they are not in the current (Nov 2015) pictures on the internet, they are great, but look very different. If you want to serve anything other than their vodkas, you'll need to hire your own bartenders, but bonus, you can provide your own beer/wine/liquor, and Spec's takes returns as long as the labels are not water damaged. Be prepared for EVERYONE to get the vodka drinks though, they are delicious! The hidden conference room is PERFECT for a buffet dinner. The venue offers a catering kitchen, which my caterer was thrilled about. Although I'm not sure this will always be an option, but because we rented linens from Whim Event Rentals in Dripping Springs, the pick up and return of the linens was done by Tracy, the day-of coordinator/event coordinator, so that was super helpful as we live a good 40-60 minutes away. There are only TWO negatives about this venue, none of which is on the venue: TRANSPORTATION and ACCOMMODATIONS. Not the venues' fault, but something to note. Now back to the coordinator, Tracy Beachum. She does not advertise herself well enough! She is a great coordinator! When we did the walk through she went over the checklist of things SHE was going to take care of and I just lost it, literally sat down and cried. I felt the weight lift off my shoulders, and embarrassingly, cried tears of relief. If you can release yourself of the overwhelming urge to micromanage and let her do her thing, it can be a glorious gift! Just don't forget (like I did) to provide the order of the processional (whoops!). She is a HUGE reason I strongly recommend considering this as a wedding venue, and her staff is an accurate reflection of her, helpful, outgoing, and kind. Reviewed on 30-11-2015
