Deer Creek Country Club is a wedding venue in Deerfield Beach, FL, less than half an hour's drive from Fort Lauderdale. This visually rich golf club was first established in 1971 and welcomes everyone wanting to use the private grounds as a romantic wedding setting. The dedicated onsite staff will work with you each step of the way, to help you achieve the celebration of your dreams. Their luxurious Key West Ballroom provides a classic elegance from start to finish. My recent experience at Deer Creek prompts me to share some observations and concerns, with the hope that future couples considering this venue may benefit from our insights. We initially chose Deer Creek based on its outstanding reputation and commendable reviews, but unfortunately, our experience did not align with these positive accounts.We perceived a potential decline in the overall value of the services provided, which may be attributed to recent changes in staffing. While acknowledging that our experience may be an anomaly, we believe it's crucial to bring attention to specific issues that we had along the way.Leading up to the wedding, we were pretty low maintenance. Hailey checked in every once in a while, we had a few questions but nothing crazy. However, around 10 or 11 days out we had final guest count due to the venue along with a final invoice. Hailey went on vacation during this time and nobody in the Deer Creek event staff could be reached. We sent many emails and copied multiple people to make sure they were going to the right place and did not receive a response. The phone would ring and nobody would answer, we left voicemails that were not returned. After a few days of not getting a response I had to send an email to the general manager to get someone from catering to reach out to me and finalize the details of the wedding. Finally after we heard back from Kylee the new Catering Manger, the ball started rolling in the right direction or so it seemed. She was underwhelming with her knowledge of how the venue operated or even the wedding industry as a whole. Even the smallest task seemed to rattle her and cause her to tailspin. We had to go sit down with her one night and go over all of the mistakes on the contract, and even after that the updated one still needed corrections. It was a battle to get the contract correct and finalized. Not to mention not what you want to deal with the days leading up to your wedding.During the rehearsal, the day of coordinator was out sick so we had someone else from the venue step in. It was very clunky probably due to her inexperience leading these kind of event which is understandable, but it is a little bit of a problem to me that they do not have solidified backups to such important roles.On the wedding day itself, despite adhering to specified timings in our BEO, there was a notable absence of greeters when we (the bridal party) or when guest arrived. The day of coordinator that Deer Creek provides per the contract was not present once again that day and the General Manager Marty expected other staff that had responsibilities in the kitchen and dinning room to pick the slack up. Fortunately our parents and vendors stepped up in place of the designated coordinator but there was still unnecessary stress felt behind the scenes knowing the coordinator was not there. The coordinator was very important the day of to be the liaison between us, the venue and the vendors.My wifeâs wedding dress encountered issues due to unclean floors throughout the venue, which made it extremely dirty before even reaching the ceremony. The bridal suite had cleanliness issues, including dead cockroaches and dirt under the rug. Marty the General Manager did offer to cover cleaning expenses but that is beside the point and does not really fix the issue nor did he tell us how he wanted to cover it and since stopped responding to my emails.Despite these challenges, our wedding day was ultimately memorable, thanks to the exceptional performance of our top-tier vendors who displayed extensive knowledge of the venue and the wedding industry. It's unfortunate to note that our previous communication addressing these concerns also went unanswered from Marty.In sharing our experience, our intent is not to discourage but to provide constructive feedback for the improvement of Deer Creek which they seemed to ignore and not want to grow from. We had high expectations based on the venue's reputation, and while our wedding day was special, it was in spite of the challenges faced at Deer Creek.We believe in the potential of Deer Creek as a wedding venue and hope that our feedback contributes to ongoing enhancements, ensuring a smoother and more enjoyable experience for future couples.

Words can't express how grateful and happy I am to have chosen this venue for my daughter's wedding. Sarah and her team made the organization of this event so much easier on me. They were prompt in replying to inquiries, and very professional and reliable.The wedding day could not have been more perfect, perhaps a few degrees cooler đ The care and attention we received from Giselle, Lulu, and Luke and his team was outstanding. I received plenty of positive feedback from the guests on how happy they were that they did not have to wait for water to be replenished on their glasses and plates taken away when they were done eating; the team was on point, the food was delicious, and the chefs were very pleasant and attentive. Thanks again for all your hard work. I will make sure to keep you in mind for any future events.

Words can't express how grateful and happy I am to have chosen this venue for my daughter's wedding. Sarah and her team made the organization of this event so much easier on me. We loved Deer Creek. My husband and I fell in love with the venue the moment we toured them. From the beginning Sarah and all the assistants were amazing at helping us plan, address and ease any concerns or questions we had regarding our wedding. They made us feel so special leading up to the wedding and on the day of the wedding. The venue has a beautiful waterfall, outdoor arbor and lots of rooms and space to have a wedding. They also in recent years completed some renovations, so the place looks brand new. We were also told that most of our guests really enjoyed the food and loved the buffet style option. Overall we had a wonderful experience and they helped keep the timeline flowing throughout the day. We were very happy we choose them for our venue and we could not have asked for a more picturesque and beautiful venue or a hardworking and dedicated staff. They really helped us create our dream wedding and we canât thank them enough. We would definitely recommend Deer Creek 110%. Thank you for everything!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this venue and the entire staff of this place! I planned my entire wedding from Seattle, WA and booked this venue without ever seeing it in person. I could not have made a better choice. Hailey from the beginning was extremely helpful, kept prompt communication with me via emails, zoom, phone calls and consistently mentioned the phrase \"let me know if you have any other questions.\" I felt so at peace as she made sure to get back to me fast with answers, important information and reminders that I needed. Thank you Hailey, it was so nice to work with you! I flew in from Seattle to see the venue for the first time two months prior to my wedding for menu tasting. I guess this is the only negative thing I could say about the entire experience.. I was told I could bring up to 4 people but upon arriving we were given only two plated meals to eat.. which to me was odd tbh but the bits of food that I did try were good so it was fine. The day of the wedding was an absolute dream. I felt like royalty waiting in the bridal suite with champagne and a small cheese and fruit platter with my girls. My ceremony could not have been more perfect, I appreciated the thoughtfulness in having a plate of the food from cocktail hour waiting in the reception room (honestly I wasn't even expecting to have anything from the cocktail anyway since I knew I'd be w photographer) Due to my guests arriving late (NOT ME!!!) we began the wedding about 30 min later which messed with the schedule and order of events but Giselle was helpful in adjusting and accommodating. From the entire decoration set up and everything else I could just say I was so glad to choose this place to get married and would have not done it differently. My guests, especially my husband, was in AWE of the beauty of those chandeliers. A dream. Thank you everyone at Deer Creek!!!

Hate that I have this review but I have to give my honest opinion. I hate that I had to hear from my guest about things such as cocktail hour being very mediocre. âServers barely brought out anythingâ âNot enough people serving, not enough food coming outâ â 4 maybe 5 pieces of food on the trayâ âThey were very scareâ Most weddings Iâve attended I eat so much at cocktail hour I barely want the main course. This is unacceptable. -We received our Wedding Cake from the venue through one of their vendors. There was lack of communication as our anniversary cake was also dropped off. When we reached out to the cake vendor to pick up our anniversary cake thatâs when they notified us it was dropped off same day of the wedding at the venue. NO one from the venue made any effort to contact us and let us know so we can arrange to pick it up. That cake found its way in the garbage as result. -Kids meals: we had 3 kids at our wedding sitting at the front table and according to the server they werenât able to provide them a meal without a place card in which the kids did have place cards and 1 was even written up at the table in front of the sever however it still took 1 of my groomsmen to go to the kitchen door to see what was going on with the kids meals. - Lastly another thing which I actually just read another review about is our guest let us know afterwards that their takeaway boxes were being collected by the staff while the reception was still going on! No clue whether they were being discarded or just taken for personal consumption but they were removing them from the table. I hope this review helps the next person.

We originally had another venue booked. It unfortunately closed due to Covid. Luckily we had the pleasure of booking with Deer Creek! From the day we went to look at the venue, to the very end of our big day they were nothing but absolutely amazing. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere. I donât have 1 bad thing to say about the venue or the people working with us. Sarah is head of catering and Hailey is her assistant. Both very easy to get ahold of through phone or email. We had changes left and right due to cancellations and they worked with every single change without blinking an eye! Gisele was our day of coordinator and from the tasting to the end of the wedding, she was fantastic! Luc was even a super sweet guy the times he was present helping Gisele etc. Every single person we have encountered at Deer Creek was upstanding, professional, and very very nice. I HIGHLY recommend you book here!!!

I think one of the first things I said after we got engaged was âIâm not getting married at a golf course.â But I ate my words (as well as a ton of delicious food) because Deer Creek was the perfect venue for us. The new hardwood floors they just put in really add such another level of sophistication to the ball room. Those high ceilings, huge windows, natural lightingâŠthe venue is just gorgeous. Giselle was amazing too, she definitely kept us on track during the wedding and was running around making sure everything was going smoothly. Food was delicious but definitely not as good as during the tasting, but what can you expect when itâs prepared for 5-6 people vs 100. Service was great and we received so many compliments after the wedding. Don't judge it because it's a golf course, it's one of the best underrated venues in South Florida.

THE BEST DAY EVER is all I have to say about my wedding here. From the absolute very beginning everyone was more than accommodating with all of my questions and concerns. Sarah, Hailey and Gisele are so incredible and patient, I never felt uneasy about anything. Gisele is a dream day of coordinator and was always there asking what I needed and made sure the night went smoothly. We last minute unfortunately had to change our ceremony from outside to inside due to the weather, but it still came out so amazing. Every guest raved about how good the food and dessert were, and they were so in love with the venue itself. All of the staff the day of was so attentive and professional as well. I truly could not have asked for a better wedding experience or venue. I highly recommend Deer Creek if you want a gorgeous view both inside and out, and such professionalism on your wedding day. 12/10

This venue was absolutely perfect for our special day. The outside and the reception area are so beautiful, I knew I wanted to get married here the moment I saw it. Sarah was very helpful for the days leading up to the wedding and on the day of, Giselle was just amazing. There truly are no words to describe how helpful Giselle was, she catered to our every need and took so much stress off our shoulders so that we could just enjoy our day. I would highly recommend this venue!

This venue was absolutely perfect for our special day. The outside and the reception area are so beautiful, I knew I wanted to get married here the moment I saw it. Sarah was very helpful for the days leading up to the wedding and on the day of, Giselle was just amazing. There truly are no words to describe how helpful Giselle was, she catered to our every need and took so much stress off our shoulders so that we could just enjoy our day. I would highly recommend this venue!

The was by chance the first venue we saw, we did our due diligence and looked at similar venues, country clubs, and locations in the area. However we knew it was gorgeous the second we got there.Ballroom is stunning, waterfall, cocktail hour, ceremony area, it was all picture perfect.Now let me say, we got engaged at the onset of Covid, we put off our wedding for 18 months, and it was WORTH IT!The ladies, Sarah, Giselle, and Jessica were so professional, and accommodating given the changes over the pandemic era. You start off with big questions spread out month to month, and when we were calling day by day a week up to the wedding they were there. We even setup a rehearsal lunch at the venue which they made so easy for us. The girls prepped in the bridal suite, the boys cracked open beers in the locker room. While the ladies moved everything into position that we had asked to be setup. Table placements, signage, gift area, etc.If you just got engaged you have to check this place out! My wife and I absolutely loved it, they knocked it out of the park, and we would gladly have future events at the venue too!

However we knew it was gorgeous the second we got there.Ballroom is stunning, waterfall, cocktail hour, ceremony area, it was all picture perfect.Now let me say, we got engaged at the onset of Covid, we put off our wedding for 18 months, and it was WORTH IT!The ladies, Sarah, Giselle, and Jessica were so professional, and accommodating given the changes over the pandemic era. You start off with big questions spread out month to month, and when we were calling day by day a week up to the wedding they were there. We even setup a rehearsal lunch at the venue which they made so easy for us. The girls prepped in the bridal suite, the boys cracked open beers in the locker room. While the ladies moved everything into position that we had asked to be setup. Table placements, signage, gift area, etc.If you just got engaged you have to check this place out! My wife and I absolutely loved it, they knocked it out of the park, and we would gladly have future events at the venue too!

I had a splendid wedding ceremony and reception at Deer Creek. The event team were always very friendly, available, and opened to work with me. The are very flexible to work with and they accommodate all my special requests. They did stuff even beyond my expectations to make my day extra special. The director was so helpful, she went the extra mile when i mistakingly order 3 linens and it supposed to be 6 (I found out I ordered the wrong amount of linens the day before wedding at 7pm). She offered her self to go and pick them up for me so I didn't have to worry about adding an extra errand to my already fully-scheduled day. Also, the service team were super nice and always making sure everything was taking care of at all times, with any request from my guests when serving dinner, bringing drinks, and constantly check on everyone if they need anything, always with a big smile :D Everything was on point. I'm so glad i have them as my event venue. The experience went smooth and I felt their support since day 1 till the very end of wedding date, all the way!

We clicked instantly and she helped me decide to switch venues to Deer Creek Country Club and boy am I glad I did. She was with me every step of the way along with Jessica Shapiro, her assistant. The main ballroom with the beautiful chandeliers and now newly renovated wood floors took my breath away. We knew we wanted an outdoor ceremony and when I saw the lush gardens with the waterfall in the background I knew this would be the perfect place to get married. I got married last Saturday and all of the guests are raving about how beautiful our wedding was! Giselle, the day of coordinator, along with Sarah and Jessica, were the DREAM TEAM. They made sure my day went seamlessly. We had an issue with a family member and they handled it very professionally. The food was amazing! Giselle ensured that I had everything we needed and I actually was full on my wedding day from all of the delicious food. I can honestly say my wedding was perfect! She spends every second on the day of making sure every detail is perfect and exactly what you dreamed. She also ensured the bride, groom and wedding party had every drink, food and support they could have needed. Florida (I think was her name) was another staff member and acted as Giselleâs right hand and she was incredible as well, so on the ball. If this review wasnât enough to convince you to get married there, I should share that I too am now getting married there, thatâs how well it went. Ty and Gisele were both professional, kind, attentive, accommodating, everything you expect wedding venue staff to be. I am a bit of a control freak and a perfectionist, but Ty & Gisele made it so easy for me to just let go of control and enjoy my day. Everything I asked for was done to pure perfection from the biggest to the smallest detail. We had a situation at the hotel I was getting ready at and ran over an hour late but Gisele took care of it all with keeping everyone calm, organized and on schedule. The food was AMAZING, our wedding guests are all still talking about how delicious the filet & chicken was. Not only is Deer Creek absolutely beautiful, the food is delicious and the service is outstanding. I had a two year engagement and booked Deer Creek two years in advance. The staff is so helpful and answers any questions you have in a timely manner. The flow of everything during your reception is great and they cater to the bride and groom as if youâre royalty. Anything you need they get for you. They go above and beyond and I wouldnât have changed a thing!

Not only is Deer Creek absolutely beautiful, the food is delicious and the service is outstanding. I had a two year engagement and booked Deer Creek two years in advance. What makes Deer Creek such a wonderful location for a wedding is the people you will interact with. We had an especially wonder experience dealing with Gisselle. She was extremely knowledgeable and responsive prior to our wedding. It is evident that she really enjoys her job and strives to make your big day as seamless as possible. On the day of our wedding our officiant was one hour late. They were completely great about it. Giselle brought all of the guests inside and opened up the bar. She was so calm and her professional demeanor brought peace to us as we waited. After that point, the rest of the wedding was perfect. We really appreciate how organized they were and enthusiastically recommend checking Deer Creek our as a venue for your wedding.

Choosing this venue was hands down the BEST decision we made for our wedding. Sure, there were other options with beautiful views or nice reception halls.. but Deer Creek took the cake.. by a landslide! We had both our wedding and reception at Deer Creek Golf Club. The venue is so beautiful for portrait shots on the golf course, a beautiful ceremony in the smaller room, and a large reception room. It's the perfect venue if you want something that looks churchish without being in a church, and it was so nice to have everything in once place (no needing to shuffle guests around town). We had a few staff changes throughout our wedding planning process (though we did have a year and a half engagement). They organized perfectly and our day came together exactly as planned. The food was SO amazing; we had tons of compliments. The staff was great and they had a great list of vendors that are familiar with the venue. The only downside was that the reception was very hot. I think guests would have had a better time if the air conditioner pumped more air into the reception room. Lots of guests huddled around the air vents on the floor. We did have a wedding in 100 degree heat in spring with around 160 people, but it would have been nicer if the room were a comfortable temperature.

Living in Florida, there's one thing that truly brings people to this state. The sun and palm trees. Deer Creek was amazing from stat to finish. Absolutely beautiful! Our wedding day was amazing thanks to the help of Gisele and the staff that worked so hard to help make our dream a reality. From start to finish, I had someone available to me for questions or concerns so that the day of the wedding everything went smoothly. We got married on March 10,2018 and the weather was uncertain. Gisele kept in contact with me to keep all of the vendors up to date about whether or not we would move the wedding inside. My husband and I are so glad that we chose Deer Creek as our wedding venue. When we came to tour this venue it was our first choice and after seeing the waterfall, outstanding windows and patio we booked that day! Our event manager was Bridgett (who was soooo awesome and helpful) who is no longer there, Stephanie is her replacement. As for Stephanie I am not a fan of. She always seemed bothered to answer the few questions that I had, rude and also she did not know many answers (sheâs new I understand). As for the event coordinator, Giselle, she is THE BEST! So helpful and caring she really was awesome. Our day went so smoothly with her. She is so professional and knows what is best for you. The food was beyond great for our wedding we chose Prime Rib and Pork Tenderloin to be served buffet style and wow it was good!! We received so many compliments on the venue, food and experience in general. We are so glad to have booked Deer Creek for our wedding!!

They are organized and efficient not to mention they are absolutely lovely people to be around. First I would like to stress that the venue is an absolute gorgeous place to have a wedding and Giselle the day of manager was absolutely amazing!!! Giselle made my day extra special despite what I went through with the event manager Stephanie and the owner Marty. My review is based on the treatment I received dealing with those two. I booked my event 2 years in advance and was dealing with a wonderful manager by the name Bridgette. 2 months before my wedding when it was time to do my food tasting.. I found out Bridgette left. The new manager never introduced herself at all to me. 2 weeks before my wedding there was a discrepancy on what was told to me about the ceremony. Stephanie was completely rude and spoke to me as if I was a no body. She was extremely condescending! When I asked to schedule a meeting with her boss she called Marty had words with him in front of me and hung up. She said that his response was he never made and exception before and he will not start now. I said I asked you to set up a meeting with him. She calls Marty back and he refused to set up time with me and she said his response was it will be a short call. By that time I was furious about how I was being dealt with. Marty called me the next day and when I expressed my dissatisfaction on how I was being treated and that I am paying thousands of dollars to host a venue there. He said to me he host hundreds of events and he doesnât need my money. When I asked to speak to his boss he told me there is no one above him but God!! I COULD NOT BELIEVE THAT AN ESTABLISHMENT HAS SUCH NASTY PEOPLE WORKING FOR THEM. When I asked him do you think thatâs appropriate to say to a paying customer he literally started yelling at me!! I ended up hanging the phone up on him. Your wedding should be an enjoyable time in your life and these 2 ppl made my wedding HELL! I literally did not want to having a wedding anymore. Marty, you may host hundreds of events but if you do not change your attitude and you staff attitude that number can quickly change! This place does not deserve to have someone like Giselle. You can tell she really cares for her job and enjoys the type of work she does. Hopefully, Marty as the owner changes how he deals with his customers and trains his staff better although I believe he is to arrogant to see the flaws. Beware!! The new managers are nice when you are looking around but once you are locked in there attitudes quickly change or maybe its because they want certain clientele there now. If these two were there when I first booked I would have gladly taken my business some where else!

My husband and I were just married there this past Friday and we are still in awe about what a fantastic ceremony/cocktail hour/reception they put on for us! The food was delicious and received so many compliments! The venue itself is so well kept and looks stunning in pictures! But most of all, the wedding coordinator Giselle and banquet coordinator Marina made us feel so special and made sure we had zero stress throughout! They do an exceptional job and they made our experience so wonderful!

I had seen pictures of how beautiful the waterfall area was, but seeing the venue in person showed that the pictures didn't do it justice. It's incredibly beautiful! And not just the outdoor space. The Key West room, where cocktail hour was held, was gorgeous, & the ballroom was to die for! But that's just part of Deer Creek's magic. The real shining star is the staff, particularly Gisele, Banquet Manager of Events. Y'all, I can't even begin to say enough about this woman! She made every single wish I had for my wedding come true. And she has the patience of a saint! I must've emailed her 20 times the week before the wedding asking for minute details here & there. And despite having events every day that week, she answered all of them quickly & so sweetly. Plus she made sure I ate on the day of the wedding, which I can never thank her enough for. I can't thank any of the staff enough! Marina was there to help me with whatever I needed on the big day. And Stephanie took care of all the logistical stuff. With everyone's help and expertise, they pulled off the absolute most perfect wedding.

The ornate chandeliers in the ballroom and the beautiful outdoor waterfall were the reason I fell in love with Deer Creek for my wedding venue. The reason I would recommend them to anyone is the customer service they provide. Leading up to the event, Brigitte and Duane were always responsive to my e-mails and phone calls and easily accommodated last minute updates. Gisele and Marina took amazing care of us on the day of the event. We worked with Affordable Pro Photo, Honey Bunch Florist, Edda's Cake Designs, and Eddie B and Company for DJ, photo booth, and lighting. All of these companies are part of Deer Creek's preferred vendors and were a pleasure to work with. We had the DREAM TEAM for our wedding! Finally, the food: many of our guests came up to us and said it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding. Thank you Deer Creek!

I cannot express enough the gratitude and amazement I have for Deer Creekâs Wedding Club House! My sonâs wedding day went flawlessly! The location was absolutely breathtaking. They provided the food, an open bar, tables, linens and cake (Edda was a vendor but included in price), plus 2 Coordinators : Gizelle the multilingual young Event Manager helped us to go through EVERY option to help us... from menus, different decor ideas, to recommending other vendors that may be helpful with sticking to our budget etc. She is a godsend. From the moment we met her, she offered her expertise on every avenue that you could ask. She is truly there for you. Gizelle feels like part of the family. No challenge is too big. She always has a backup plan or is willing to stand by you while trying to reach a solution. Marina the assistant manager was absolutely awesome! She is the sweetest woman ever and really went above and beyond to help our kids to create the wedding of their dreams. They also provided the waitstaff , bartenders, valet and the EXCELLENT Chef Rene witch helped us during the food tasting and made sure everyone at our party raved about the quality of the food - and it really is the best wedding food you can find.The only down side was the Sales Manager Bridgite (first we met her assistant a very polite gentleman). My daughter-in-law cried over her rudeness many times during the wedding process. My son had to step in feel times. She was unresponsive and not friendly. She ordered the wrong color sash and accused my daughter in-law of ordering wrong. I wish the sales manager made my familyâs planning experience better but fortunately she was not present on my sonâs wedding day so we could have a great experience. Besides that we had so many compliments from our family & friends that came from 4 different states in US and 2 different countries and Iâm still getting them to this day. I recommend every âMother-Plannerâ to choose this venue for their Kids.

I fell in love with this venue the moment I walked in. From the start, I already pictured my husband and I getting married outside. Not only is everything beautiful, but everyone is so sweet. On my wedding day, Marina and Gisele treated me like an actual queen. They helped me with everything! I can't even describe how I felt, but I know I wouldn't have been treated this way if I chose another venue. This place is one of a kind with one of a kind people. The food was incredible and all of my guests had a wonderful time. I just knew that I had to write this review to thank Gisele, Marina, and Luc. I also have to thank Brigitte, who helped me with even the little details like my centerpieces. She is sweet and such a wonderful person to work with. We just had our wedding there (03/10/17 ceremony and reception) and all I can say is that it was more perfect than I imagined. Since the begining everything went smoothly. They made our experience extremely easy. We looked at other places, read other reviews and went to other weddings but nothing compared to Deer Creek and staff. Brigette was very helpful since we walked in there. She would always respond promptly to all my emails. Gisele, the coordinator, was absolutely amazing! She is so easy to talk to and is there to answer any question/problem! Lastly, the FOOD was AMAZING! Wish I could go back in time to have one more plate. To sum it all up, the venue is beautiful, staff is amazing and I have absolutely NOTHING to complain about. -Kezia and Greg

We made an appointment to see the venue. The girl we made our appointment wasn't there to meet us. There was an elderly man to meet us who stated he worked with her but he was not pleasant with me at all. He kept talking to my mother and wouldn't even look at me for the first twenty minutes even after my mother made the point to say \"she is the bride. you can talk to her\". we looked around anyway and the outside was beautiful but the inside was outdated and the carpet smelled. We choose a different venue.

This review is not for a wedding, but for my daughter's Sweet 16 which was like a wedding, LOL. Our overall experience was wonderful. On our first visit to this venue, my daughter immediately fell in love with the elegance of the ballroom, the grounds and the great catering director we met with-Brigitte. She had \"found\" her place and wouldn't hear anything else about \"looking\" at other venues we had made appointments with. Needless to say, we returned to book the party and all our communication with Brigitte was excellent. Always promptly returning phone calls, emails and answering all questions we had along the way. She was patient, kind, and truly went above and beyond to make sure every detail that was important to us was taken made note of so everything can run smoothly on the big day. For the most part, everything went well the day of the party. We had different action stations and the dining room manager, Luc made sure everything was perfect. The head chef, Rene, was very personable and always making sure, my daughter got everything she wanted. Our guest have not stopped saying how beautiful everything was and the food from the reception was exquisite and the drinks from the bar were on point. Thank you Deer Creek for making our princess day a memorable and beautiful one! She was very happy that day and the pictures we just got from photographer captured that happiness and great time she had. Hands down recommend Brigitte and her team without reservation.

Our Wedding was Amazing! The venue was gorgeous and the staff was fantastic. Brigitte the catering manager, was very helpful from start to finish and also made herself very available throughout the whole planning process. Giselle, Zorahida were our day of coordinators and were so helpful from start to finish. They helped in anyway possible and certainly went out of their way to ensure our day was stress free. The ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner service were well executed. I heard from numerous guests that the waitstaff across the board was very friendly, efficient and the food was excellent. That was certainly our experience as well. We used many preferred vendors Bridgette recommended and they all were excellent. Our wedding was October 8, 2016 the same week hurricane Matthew was supposed to sweep through Broward County. We were blessed to have to storm miss us, Bridgette and Giselle checked in and communicated with me regularly when the outcome was up in the air. I wouldnât change a thing! Thank you, to all the staff for making our wedding so special!

We visited 12 venues, and we fell in love with Deer Creek. Brigitte was the first impression of Deer Creek and that first impression was grandeur! We knew we had found our venue and booked our wedding day immediately with Brigitte. Our wedding day arrived, our ceremony was outside on the most picture picture day just at sunset. This facility is absolutely flawless and picturesque!!! The ceremony led into cocktail hour and the reception followed. The staff at Deer Creek have every single detail handled. They were simply amazing! My family members and my guest were in AWE over the venue that me and my now husband had picked. Our wedding day was everything and more!!! Our wedding day was so magical and it was largely in part to Deer Creek Country Club and their wonderful staff! Not only were we complemented on the beautiful view, but everyone commented on how great the food was and how pleasant and attentive the staff was. Brigitte, the Catering Director went above and beyond to accommodate us with all of our needs for the wedding. Zorahida Hodge (Banguet Manager) and Gisele Nikolov (Coordinator) were there on our wedding day and they were the best coordinators! They made sure everything went smoothly and delegated tasks accordingly.As for the food -- we went with the buffet, which allowed us to give our guests 3 entrees to choose from, or they could have all options. We went with the salmon, stuffed chicken, and beef as our protein choices, with rice pilaf and vegetables as the two sides. Every person was extremely impressed with how good the food was.Overall, I give Deer Creek a 5, and if I could, I'd give them a 10 because our wedding was more than we could imagine and ask for.Thank you, Brigitte, Gisele, Zorahida, Chef Rene, Luke, and the rest of the Deer Creek staff!

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST, MOST AMAZING EVER!!! I just got married here on 10.16.16 and had the most amazing time of my entire life! Our wedding was absolutely perfect and it was a great deal due to all that everyone at Deer Creek did. Gisele was absolutely phenomenal attending to my every need our entire wedding day and making sure everything ran smoothly and everyone was comfortable and having a great time, Brigitte was so helpful throughout and made sure all the details were just perfect from beginning to end, and Zora was great with making sure everything ran smoothly and looked perfect as well. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST, MOST AMAZING EVER!!! I just got married here on 10.16.16 and had the most amazing time of my entire life! Our wedding was absolutely perfect and it was a great deal due to all that everyone at Deer Creek did. Gisele was absolutely phenomenal attending to my every need our entire wedding day and making sure everything ran smoothly and everyone was comfortable and having a great time, Brigitte was so helpful throughout and made sure all the details were just perfect from beginning to end, and Zora was great with making sure everything ran smoothly and looked perfect as well. They helped me every step of the way and the day of went absolutely perfect!! I really couldn't have imagined it being any more spectacular! I got married on May 22, 2016 and was so excited! I had done all the planning and made every detail special for my husband and our guests. 9 months! The day of the wedding the Banquet Manager Zorahidia Hodge was very rude to my day of contact! She did not care about the detail I had put into it and at one point said \"just put the ugly one out\" ( she was talking about a reserved sign. I had made one and it was never used). My grandma did not get the corsage I had bought for her. The mirrors were not included in the center pieces. I could go on and on! My husband and I were never served dinner!!!! At the end of the day we left and someone from the [arty accidentally took a tray that the bubbles were on and Zorahidia Hodge was yelling at the bridesmaids as they were packing everything up to give her $100. They didn't have money on them and assured her they would get the tray back! When they told me about it i found the tray and brought it back the very next morning. I was horrified to see the tray was a $5.00 cardboard tray. I was in tears in Bridget's office explaining to her everything that happened and how horrified I was that my girls had to deal with that. I felt as I was just dismissed. I got home and 20 of the votive's I bought were not in the box and Zorahidia Hodge said they got broke. I asked fro compensation for them and I was told these things happen with so much stuff. I was so angry for them to yell at my brides maids over a $5.00 tray and the attitude to me and my things was all well. Its a beautiful venue but there are a ton of beautiful places in South Florida. It's not worth the attitude of the staff. I was very disappointed.

My husband and I had our wedding at Deer Creek this past weekend. We had Giselle as our day-of coordinator there and she is phenomenal. All of the staff at the event were helpful and kind and our guests were raving about the food. \r\rThe reason why I'm giving 4 stars, however, is because Brigitte is nearly impossible to contact. I still probably have 4 unanswered emails from her and numerous voicemails. She is very helpful and knowledgeable when you do speak with her but it was very frustrating to have to email and then have to call a few times because we wouldn't hear back. While I understand that this is a busy venue and she is a busy person, communication during wedding planning is crucial. \r\rThat being said, Deer Creek overall was amazing and I recommend it highly, it really is a beautiful location and we had a wonderful time at our wedding!

By far the best vendor choice we made for our wedding was having our ceremony and reception at Deer Creek Country Club. \r\rThe catering manager Briggete, was very easy to work with and accommodating throughout the wedding planning process. She was quick to respond to emails and phone calls and was very straight forward, honest, and informative. \r\rMy bridesmaids and I used the locker room to get ready for the wedding. It is very spacious, has showers, a fridge/ microwave, and beautiful dĂ©cor for getting ready pictures. \r\rThe outside of the venue has a beautiful garden, a water fall, vine draped trellis, and a bridge that can be sued for pictures. The ballroom has high ceilings, beautiful chandeliers, and tall windows that overlook all the landscaping! \r\rWe were going to hold the ceremony in the garden by the waterfall however it rainedï. We used a room adjacent to the ball room for our ceremony that overlooked the waterfall and garden, and I was very happy with the results. The staff quickly and smoothly transformed that room for the cocktail hour for the guests. \r\rThe food was AMAZING (we got so many compliments) for both the cocktail hour and the reception. \r\rThe BEST part about getting married at Deer Creek was our day of coordinator, Gisel. She was SO helpful and made sure my husband, the wedding party, and I had everything we needed (she even offered me the shoes off her feet because my heels where hurting me!) She made sure everything ran smoothly and helped with setting up and taking down all of our decorations. \r

After looking at several venues, my daughter and her fiancé decided to book with Deer Creek Country Club. What an excellent choice! The ballroom was beautifully set up for the holidays and the grounds were beyond breathtaking. Both Zorahida and Giselle stayed right on top of things and were attentive to every last detail. The wait staff was extremely efficient and did an excellent job! The food was excellent in every way and people were so impressed with not only the wide array of choices but the quality as well. The only drawback in the entire process was having to work with Brigitte prior to the wedding. Having to plan the wedding from a distance as the couple live out of state, contact had to be made via phone or email. Brigitte was not responsive to returning calls or e-mails in a timely manner and on one occasion left a voice mail for the bride calling her by another name and suggesting that she come in to see Brigitte in person. (Kind of hard to do living over 2,000 miles away.) When considering Deer Creek Country Club, in spite of the difficulties with Brigitte, it is well worth it to choose this venue as the efficiency and efforts of the rest of the staff make this the ideal choice for a wedding and reception venue. We can't even begin to say enough about Deer Creek! They truly made our wedding day amazing, and exactly as we dreamed it. \r\rFirst, Deer Creek has the best value in the South Florida area. We specifically did not want to get married on the beach, at a hotel...in a public place. Deer Creek offered us a secluded area for our ceremony, and the entire venue was ours for the reception. We researched venues for hours on end, and visited a few. No one compares to Deer Creek in the same price range. What is provided far exceeds similar venues in the area.\r\rThe outdoor ceremony space we used was breathtaking (the trellis area). The Key West room used for our reception is absolutely gorgeous on its own, and even more so when decorated with lights, flowers, etc. \r\rThe true highlight of our wedding was our day-of coordinator, Gisele. This woman is INCREDIBLE. For every day-of snafu you would imagine, Gisele had a quick, seamless solution. She was doing everything from herding guests, to sewing a bra for the maid of honor, to making sure we actually got to eat ourselves. She was discreet and behind the scenes, and super accommodating. I could not have asked for someone better to have helping by my side all day. When I forgot to provide our meal indicators, she took it upon herself to count the guests' food choices, look over our day-of supplies, and realized that the color of our place cards were intended to indicate meal choice. When I realized during the reception my mistake, she assured me she had already taken care of it. We truly can't explain in words how much she meant to us on our big day. She was outstanding, and having her there with us not only put us at ease, but made it possible for us to truly enjoy the time with our family and friends. \r\rThe food at Deer Creek was wonderful, especially when you consider that they are preparing food for such large groups. Our guests raved about all of the food, including passed hors d'oeuvres, slider station, appetizer, and plated dinner. The cake, made by Edda's bakery (and included in our package price) was delicious. We had numerous guests tell us that they had multiple servings...they loved it!\r\rAll in all, we couldn't be happier with using Deer Creek as our wedding venue. I am a type A perfectionist...and Deer Creek provided perfection for our day! We would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. (and if you can, ask for Gisele!!!)

We chose this location because of the beautiful indoor ballroom and the stunning outdoor ambiance. We received great attention from the staff, a delicious meal, and in my opinion, it couldn't have been better. I would choose Deercreek again and again!

After looking for a wedding venue I chose Deer Creek. I must say the grounds for the ceremony were absolutely beautiful and made for gorgeous wedding pictures. The Key West room is absolutely stunning with large golden chandeliers and beautiful french doors. The staff is attentive and helped me with my broken bustle on my dress. Lisa Gjonaj, Giselle and Zorhaida made my day a memorable one and I would definitely recommend this venue to any bride.

Not knowing what we wanted for a wedding venue, we chose to visit over a dozen and in doing so we narrowed down to what we liked. When we saw the DeerCreek Country Club, we just loved the ballroom as it was just renovated and really needed nothing else. From the crystal chandeliers, the sheer volume of the room, the exquisite wall decorations and carpeting made this room fit for a royal wedding â so why not ours. Not to mention the exterior grounds, the lattice work and the waterfall scene made for the perfect ceremony and picturesque settings. \r\rWe would be remiss to forget to mention Lisa Gjonaj and her amazingly attentive staff at the DCCC. We were sold on the venueâs ambience and regal looks but the staff at the DCCC was very attentive. Our guests commented on how every little thing was looked after, if something was missing, the staff took care of it. As the bride and groom, we had on several occasions a waiter ask us if we needed anything from the bar, and they brought us back several drinks â definitely helps when time is of the essence. \r\rNot knowing what to expect, the taste test was pleasantly surprising after hearing horror stories of food tasting bland or dried out. That was not the case at the DCCC. All 3 of our menu choices were quite flavorful. So we kept our choices of the chicken marsala, beef tenderloin with peppercorn and the bourbon glazed salmon. The taste test made our choice quite simple â we had to have a platter of all of them at our sweetheart table which Lisa made happen. The food was delicious and we heard many compliments on the food selection. Venue was beautiful and reasonably priced. Lisa the banquet manager was great. She was helpful and smart. \rBad: deal with Lisa up until wedding and then get her assistant, Z, who was somewhat incompetent and unprofessional. She trouble the groom over finding chairs and the food and then stood over us to hurry up our last dance even though. Our times wasn't even up. They served the wrong food and said they ran out of the steak. They didn't take responsibility for their mistakes.

At this point, Deer Creek was undergoing their $1.3 million renovation and it was evident at how elegant the new room was going to be. We quickly signed the contract and the planning began.\r\rThroughout the planning process, Lisa was fabulous. She quickly responded to emails and always seemed to be available whenever we stopped in. Always positive and full of ideas. When we came back in November (our wedding was in May), the room was complete and words can't describe the elegance and beauty this room had become. From the glass windows to the high ceilings with big chandeliers, this room and location was perfect. I have a feeling for the very reasonable price, Deer Creek Country Club will soon be one of the most sought out venues in South Florida (not to mention that every other one of my vendors-photo, dj, officiant, flowers- loved coming and working at Deer Creek!). \r\rWhen it came time for our big day, I knew everything was in good hands. Lisa immediately greeted us and got us into the bridal suite while the groomsmen went around doing small tasks. Lisa made sure that I had something to eat before everything started and handled all the other vendors and got them set up.\r\rWe had out ceremony outside and for the end of May, it was very hot (but you can't really expect anything else for South Florida!). All of our guests though were able to stay inside up until right before the ceremony. One of the highlights of every guest was the food. We did a brunch reception and the mix between breakfast and lunch was quite possibly the best wedding food that I ever tasted. Another compliment was that the servers other staff members were very friendly and made sure everyone was having a good time. \r\rIf you are looking for a venue for your ceremony and/or reception, Deer Creek should be on the top of your list. The outside blue of the golf club doesn't hold a candle to anything inside. For the views, newly renovated rooms, outside elegance for pictures, friendliness of staff and wonderful director of events (Lisa), you will not have a better experience.

After a long arduous journey in search of a venue for our wedding, a lady I was speaking with told me about Deer Creek Country Club. \r\rOn dropping by to look at the amenities, I was encouraged as it was reasonably priced, the staff were extremely helpful, and it was a convenient location. We were able to view the newly renovated Biscayne room which has a beautiful ambiance. The outdoor surroundings were bursting with color and there is more than one option for your ceremony location as well. The Key West room (once completed) was beyond our wildest dreams. Never did I imagine the final product to be quite what it was....breathtaking!\r\rThe food was tasty, well presented, and there was a great selection. The most talked about decoration was not anything I spent hours making, but the fruit display that Deer Creek provided - the fruit carvings were pieces of art, not to mention fresh and delicious!\r\rI have to say, besides the convenient location and the affordable packages offered, all the staff at DC are very professional and friendly. The director of catering, Lisa, is a bright star! Her \"can do\" attitude and constant attention to the bride and groom really made us feel special leading up to our event and especially on our wedding day. She was well prepared and always in contact. Whenever I needed to stop in, or had a question, she would make time to see us or respond very quickly by phone or through email. I cannot express how appreciative and blessed we were to have her with us on our day. The entire experience was flawless, so much so that I plan on having other special events there. \r \rThank you so much to all the staff who made our evening more than we had hoped for.

We chose Deer Creek for the beautiful garden which was amazing for our photos however the service was horrible. The night of our rehearsal the catering manager was meeting with a different bride instead of setting up for us. Then the day of my wedding my husband had to do all the setting up while arguing with Deer Creek about where to place the tables. And to make the night even better our bartender was serving well liquor to our guests when we paid extra for the top shelf. So our guests were served that for over two hours. My husband had to scream and yell at the catering manager to get the well liquor out from behind the bar. To make it even worst the bartender was horrible to our guests. Everyone complained how rude he was, he even had the nerve to give attitude to my husband and I. I could not believe how he treated our guests. Besides the service lacking, the food was not that good. My guests which are not snobby individuals all said the food was very bland no flavor. The only food that was complimented was the cake which was done by an outside vendor.

We married on 12/21/12. We booked one year in advance. The site just had a renovation, where the main reception room (Key West Room) was knocked down and rebuilt. The facilities for both the cocktail room, the reception room, and the garden outside are therefore brand new as of 11/15/12. The management also changed. Lisa, the venue coordinator, was very helpful throughout the planning. We chose a sit down menu for 60 guests at a cost of about 5500 which included venue, chairs outside for ceremony, valet, bridal room, salad, main dish, and the cake via Eda's Cakes. We chose to excluded liquored beverages, so they served soft drinks and complimentary champagne only for the toast. Altogether we are very satisfied with Lisa's help, the quality of the venue, and the food. We as an Asian-Hispanic couple are not much for the European food served at weddings, so we will say it was \"ok\". Great quality but not what we would ideally serve given our tastes in food.\rOn the day of the wedding there were 2 snafus, the first having to do with coordination with the DJ (could not find appropriate outlets), and the second one regarding time available for us to set up. We scrambled with only 1.5 hours to set up the decorations prior to the wedding start, so we were anxious during that period until things got started.\rOtherwise, I'd highly recommend this place.

this place was so beautiful-the outdoor waterfall and patio area were perfect for our tropical theme. the staff were all curteous and helpful and Cindy and Michele who run the catering/weddings went above and beyond in helpfulness. we would get married there again in a heartbeat!!

Cindy and the staff at Deer Creek were nothing short of spectacular. I was the typical bride changing things every five minutes and Cindy was so nice and everything was perfect. She took care of dealing with my other vendors and I was able to show up and just get married without worrying about anything!!

Both my wedding and reception were held at the same place. The staff was excellent, the food - especially the bruschetta - was incredible! The pictures came out beautiful.;Watch out for ants on the hilly part of the lawn/green right across from the back door entrance. :D
