Emily Summers(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 07-10-2017 Deer Valley was the perfect place to have a wedding in the mountains of Park City, UT. Beyond being a beautiful mountain destination that is easily accessible- there is incredible onsite support, endless (and delicious!) menu options and an experienced staff that took care of all of our needs and our guests needs. We had at least 75% of our guests travel to the wedding and they were all blown away by the beautiful location and overall experience. We were married in October at Empire Canyon Lodge and would not change a single thing. The lodge is stunning in itself so we did very minimal decorating. (The team at Deer Valley has a great list of local vendors to assist.) We felt like everything could be customized to our vision and it ended up being the most perfect day. Reviewed on 26-03-2019
allison S.(not set)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 26-08-2017 Deer Valley knows exactly what they are doing when it comes to weddings. They executed the most exquisite wedding that I could not be happier with. The food was incredible, the staff was attentive and everything went smooth and according to plan. Deer Valley has a variety of locations available for weddings (Empire Lodge, Silver Lake Lodge, Snow Park Lodge and Cushing's Cabin). I wish I could do it all over again! Reviewed on 31-10-2017
Sloane Pitman(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-05-2017 Best-ever experience. The entire thing was truly truly magical. Eric and I both have honestly never had a better day in our lives thanks to this venue. We were able to have the event outdoors on the patio in May, even after a week of snow, and the team was completely ready to have the festivities inside at the last minute if the weather happened to turn. Karen Gibbs and the entire Deer Valley banquet staff was a dream to work with - made the day completely stress and worry-free. My friends, family, and my husband and I were able to let go and enjoy every moment without a care in the world. Marcela was such a sweetheart helping me see the processional, hide from the guests before my entrance, and carry my dress down the stairs! She is a doll! And when I spilled red wine on my gown mid-dance, the bar was very generous with the club soda to help get it out and get me back to dancing. The food was unreal, the leftovers were just as good, and we will be eating cake leftovers until next year! Our guests raved about the food and the cake, and it was so easy to have Deer Valley handle it all, and I didnt have to coordinate multiple vendors/caterers/bar service. The passed appetizers and poured wines were a huge hit during cocktail hour, and our guests still rave about the food. There was plenty of room to dance, and our photos are beautiful with the mountain backdrop, and the beautiful bones of the interior dining room space. For ease, peace of mind, and the greatest quality I would send anyone to this lodge. It was also budget-friendly. We gave Karen our ideal budget and guest number, and she prepared dining and booze options that fit our needs perfectly. While we live in Utah, my family is all on the East Coast. My mom said it was easier to plan this wedding from across the country than planning my sister's in our hometown! For Utah local and destination brides alike, consider Deer Valley. You will love every moment. Reviewed on 17-06-2017
Lauren Ahles(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-09-2016 I got married at Deer Valley's Empire Canyon Lodge in September 2016. This has to be one of the best if not THE BEST wedding venues in Park City. It is an absolutely gorgeous setting indoors and outdoors. I feel so lucky that I got to get married here! Karen was the banquet manager I worked with and I have nothing but amazing things to say about her! She and her team are such professionals. She was so helpful up to the big day, making sure everything was exactly how I wanted it and was so responsive to every email/call I sent her. On the big day, the staff was amazing--every single detail was taken care of and I had nothing to worry about. We had about 80 guests and got married outdoors on the deck with an indoor reception with fireside dining. Weeks later my guests are still talking about the Swiss raclette cheese that was melted in the fireplace right in front of my guests. Overall, the food was out of this world!! Best day ever! Anne Perkins-Link(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-08-2010 Our experience at Deer Valley could not have been better. Period. The primary driver of the event's success was our wedding coordinator, Karen Gibbs, who went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. From the menu that we worked on with the chef (northern Italian inspired) to the sommelier (who let us serve our favorites wines from all over the world), to the setting (nestled in a canyon right outside of Park City, with the ceremony on top of a mountain -- we used a chairlift to get up!) to the lodge itself (intimate, rustic and classy), this venue was world class. After seeing nearly a dozen other venues in Utah, none could compare to Deer Valley. And after holding our wedding there, I would recommend it unconditionally! Reviewed on 21-09-2010
Jenny Nazzaro(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-07-2010 We loved our wedding experience with Deer Valley resort. Our wedding was at Empire Canyon Lodge in July and was amazing. Our planner, Catherine, was so nice and helpful, and the venue really delivered on the day. The food, scenery, staff and weather were great. We would definately recommend Deer Valley for weddings!
