Anthony Dempsey(guest)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-12-2019 Delaney Vineyards is absolutely stunning. I have attended several events at this space and I find myself falling in love with it more and more with each visit. Pamela was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. The romantic setting is the perfect place for a fairytale wedding and adds an impressive touch of class to any reception. You really have to visit this place to understand how incredible it is! Chessy Breen(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-11-2020 We booked Delaney in June of 2019 for our wedding in November of 2020. Between that time, there was a change of management and the new manager found that our original contract was not countersigned by Delaney. Instead of simply signing the original contract, they attempted to give us an entirely new one with a smaller guest limit and many more stipulations/penalties, including a new $1500 \"refundable\" deposit on top of the $7000 venue price. It took much back and forth to get the original numbers and costs back and even then, the entire situation was unprofessional. Even our first meeting with the new event manager was unprofessional, where she spent the majority of the time talking poorly about other brides and the previous event managers as reasons behind changes in the contract. Then, when COVID hit and we tried to reschedule, they would not reschedule beyond December. When I attempted to give payment in August, they said they could not take my payment at the moment and went fully radio silent. Not even my wedding planners could get ahold of them. That was $1000 lost because they could not communicate with us. We have had to find a new venue, and even when our wedding date came and went, no one contacted us. They actually even advertised that there would be tastings that day into the time slot we booked for our reception time. Reviewed on 19-02-2021
Daniel Bryson(groom)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-06-2020 We booked Delaney Vineyards to host our wedding reception last summer. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, they were unable to host us and have gone radio silent. They will not answer phone calls or emails, and are withholding our refund. We have been incredibly disappointed. In addition to losing our dream wedding, we are also out of this money despite it clearly stating in our contract that we should be getting a refund. If you are trying to book in this uncertain times, stay away from Delaney Vineyards. Reviewed on 13-06-2020
Ron Duran(parent)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-11-2019 We had our daughter's wedding here and during the rehearsal we were treated very rudely by Paula and then I took a terrible slip/fall on some goo leaking from one of the wine barrels. My lawyer is looking into the latter. The next day at the wedding, Paula was continuing to be rude towards our wedding day planner as well as to my wife. We were supposed to have a reception on the courtyard while they set up the hall for the dinner and they refused to light the other two heaters even though in was in the 40's at the time. All our guests were huddled in front of the only working heater and all we could get from Paula was that she refused to light the other two heaters. The wine was lousy at best but I gladly spent another $650 dollars when we were starting to run out of what we had originally purchased. Decided to let it lay that night to not upset my daughter and her special night. Well then three days later they charged our credit card an additional $613 dollars on some bogus made up claim that they had to stay late to stack chairs. They never contacted us about the charge and my wife only saw it on the account when she went to look at something else. She called and was treated like a second rate citizen by the lady she was talking to so she asked for the owner to give her a call back. It's been 12 days and no return call yet. There are a lot nicer places for the money without having to put up with that kind of treatment so please book anywhere else for that special day so that it stays special for you. Cheryl Kiff(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-10-2019 We received so many compliments on the venue! Another reviewer was correct - the venue itself is very elegant from the brick walls to the wine casks to the chandelier to the strung twinkle lights to the large, arched wooden doors to the 2nd floor stairs. Plus, the veranda was perfect for our guests to be served beverages while the room was being flipped. In addition, the venue included the round tables and matching white wooden garden chairs and black linens that saved us from having to rent those separately. They allowed us to use their black lanterns which were at the end of every other row for the ceremony and then doubled as table centerpieces for the reception. They also had some rod iron candelabras we used for the ceremony and gold charger plates we used for the reception which helped dress up the tables even more. Our venue coordinator, Pamela G., ensured proper coordination with our vendors (caterer, florist, signage, cake baker, photographers) pre-wedding and day of. We had a photo booth, too, and the brick walls looked great so we didn't have to set up drapes or the like for it. All in all, Delaney Vineyards helped us have a lovely wedding with many lasting memories! Reviewed on 03-11-2019

From start to finish, Anna VanGoey not only calmed our nerves throughout the entire planning process, but was an absolute joy to work with! From the wine tasting to the floor plan and day-of timeline, Anna made sure our day was perfect. All of our guests were amazed with the vineyard and kept referring to it as a hidden gem. Adalynn Abbassi(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-12-2015 I have a hard time writing this review and giving a star rating. The venue itself was breath taking; completely decked out for our Christmas wedding. Simply stunning and so cozy. \rHOWEVER I had an absolute horrible experience with their coordinator Denise. She had a family emergency at one point during our engagement, I emailed and called multiple times and there was no out of office email, no point of contact information, and when I called they simply told me she was out. I'm not unreasonable, I completely understand family emergencies however in a business setting communication with the client is critical. \rThe day of rehearsal gets here, Denise and I had discussed her running the rehearsal. I had given her a very detailed VERY outlined timeline to follow and she continued to ask me questions that were clearly answered in her timeline. As a bride about to get married this was frustrating. To make matters worse you couldn't hear her when speaking. She spoke like a church mouse in a group of 20 friends who had flown in from out of town and hadn't seen each other recently. To add insult to injury, she spoke to everyone like toddlers as if we were completely inept and stupid. \rWhile we had agreed on Denise being the day of coordinator for my wedding and that we would pay her for that service the night of the rehearsal, we were never approached about payment ONLY TO FIND OUT SHE HAD ALREADY RAN OUR CARD! This is money we owed her adnd were happy to pay however communication YET AGAIN fell short. \rShe didn't get along with my point of contact for the day of my wedding. She had a timeline to follow for my wedding but my photographer and point of contact seemed to be the ones keeping everything running. I found out recently that multiple of my guests commented to my parents how rude she was and how horrible her attitude was. \rYet another horror I recently found out. My little brother who recently joined the Marines had flown in to surprise me for my wedding and she attempted to keep my family from the foyer area to see him. This was obviously never discussed with me and completely inappropriate behavior on her part. \rOver all however, I knew none of these things were happening at the time and enjoyed my wedding as long as Denise wasn't looking over us like a hawk. The venue was beautiful but I would NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS recommend using Denise if you don't have to. Reviewed on 21-12-2015
Haley McGuire(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-08-2015 We had our wedding at Delaney Vineyards in August. The vines were in full bloom and absolutely breathtaking. I personally chose this venue so that I didn't need to bring in much decorations. The setup is gorgeous naturally inside and outside! The staff was also on top of my every need. Denise was our wedding coordinator for the day and we were in great hands. I highly recommend using this venue! Reviewed on 18-08-2015
Kristina Marshall(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-08-2015 Let me preface this comment, I loved my wedding venue(so beautiful). I did NOT like the services provided. The coordinator(Denise) was rude, condescending, and frigid. She threatened my mom at the end of the night, didn't make accommodations when needed, and was VERY rude. I cannot say enough negative things about her. EVERYONE in my wedding party commented on her attitude, which made me self-conscious. Additionally, I received 4 emails recently that indicated I had a very large unpaid balance with them. I searched my bank and saw the paid claim for this amount. My mother stated that the threat was unprofessional and almost required me to return to the venue to settle the dispute over a case of wine. I would not just say steer clear but I would suggest running for the hills. You don't need this negativity on your special day and your family doesn't deserve to be threatened for something so trivial. Denise should not have a job and it's very sad that she is associated with such a beautiful venue. Reviewed on 12-08-2015

We just got married at Delaney this past weekend. I wanted to share some of our experiences.\r\rFirst off, the venue is beautiful. The main room is great, and the layout worked well. However, if you care for customer service at all, I would not recommend this venue. Denise was a terror to work with, once she discovered we had hired someone else to coordinate for us. When our family met with her to discuss general layout and logistics, she was determined to try and prove the Bride's mother wrong on a detail. Not professional at all. At the end of our rehearsal, it was raining and around 30 outside, and Denise practically pushed (not literally) the Bride's sister out the door while holding an 11 month old baby. This was after she explained to Denise that the car was pulling around. Her explanation was that she had a personal appointment. Denise had a horrible attitude, overall. Furthermore, if you are planning the wedding during cold weather, they are NOT prepared at all. They will lead you to believe so, but they are not. They say they have big vinyl curtains and heaters to make the crush pad comfortable, but the curtains are perforated sunscreens. They basically create a vented wind tunnel, rendering the heaters practically useless. They also failed to heat the upstairs area where the Bride gets ready. Upon requesting heat, they said they will get to it. It should have been on, knowing there was an event. Additionally, we never received our personalized bottle of wine. To sum this up, good luck discussing any issues with anyone, because Denise is basically the top of the food chain, and they don't seem to care about hearing poor performance evaluations. Please, do yourself a favor and avoid this place, no matter how nice it may seem. At least until they replace Denise. Reviewed on 02-03-2015
Ashley Allen(bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 14-06-2014 Delaney Vineyards is beautiful but the lack of communication is ridiculous. After signing my contract, the package changed 3 times and it was never brought to my attention until I started my floor plan a month before my wedding. While I kept the original price when I signed, I was unable to take advantage of the vendor deals that Delaney has to offer, because it was too late. I never spoke to the same person while planning my wedding, because the staff changed every time I called, and I was told different information by different staff. No one was ever on the same page. I had to make all the phone calls and appointments. I was completely forgotten about after signing the contract. I had wedding guests and family say that the staff was very rude to them the day/night of my wedding, which is very embarrassing. They make you use their vendor list for catering which was fine when I first signed the contract because I had 5 choices but through the planning process they kept taking vendors away and at one time they only had 2 caterers. The venue is beautiful but is very expensive. It's a shame such a beautiful place is so poorly ran. Reviewed on 10-07-2014

Emily Snyder(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-05-2012 I really loved Delaney Vineyards. It had a lot of charm and it was nice to have the ceremony and reception in the same place. It was a great space for my 120 guests. Perks are beautiful, charming, great pictures, and spacious. Drawbacks are the time constraints and the pricing. It is tough to set up because it is open to the public until 5 so we started late and ended early. You can only add extra hours after 11 not before 5. Plus every decoration costs extra. I loved my wedding and my venue, but the price was rough for our budget. Reviewed on 05-06-2012
Sarah Stack(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-04-2012 This venue was absolutely perfect for what I wanted at my wedding reception. Megan Rice(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-03-2012 Delaney was a dream to work with! They gave me advice and answered my zillion questions with ease. The building is BEAUTIFUL! The whole night of our wedding I kept on looking around thinking I was in a dream it was so incredible. My guests were very impressed by the building (and the wine)! We had both our ceremony and wedding reception at Delaney and I HIGHLY recommend! During \"the switch\" guests go out on the patio for hourd'ourves and drinks (there was a GORGEOUS sunset the night of our wedding) and then when they enter the building again the room is flipped over. The workers are very professional and make you feel at home. Brides- here is a grand stairwell you get to walk down, so your entrance is more than memorable! It fits about 300, we only had 100 guests and it was still PERFECT! The prices are competetive. They give you the choice of 5 caterers (go w/ CN Catering), and they recommend other vendors that work their often... USE THEM. It makes planning the wedding fun and easy when all the vendors know each other and the facility. The wine is YUMMY! And the area where they put the cake is awesome! It is under it's own light and is show cased the whole time (which is important when you pay so much for it). I had stations set up at our wedding and they have a whole other room where the food goes. The ambiance is romantic and turns into a fabulous party! I couldn't imagine a better, more beautiful, and magical place to get married. It was PERFECT!!!!!!!! Reviewed on 23-04-2012

It takes a lot more work to bring in each vendor seperately. It takes a lot of planning and hard work to pull it all together. You really need a wedding coordinator to bring it all together.
