We were extremely happy with the venue, it was extremely beautiful and a fun and unique location for a wedding! The included planner was a real life saver, she was extremely helpful. Additionally, a lot of great things (officiant, high quality silver and glassware, an arch) came included. We highly recommend anyone interested consider hosting their wedding at the Delta King.

I had booked my wedding here for location but between the food tasting not happening and the coordinator not being available on the day I was disappointed. I feel like for that kind of money I should have reviewed more. But great location and beautiful boat.

The Delta King is a bit pricey, but it's a fun, different, location for a wedding. The landing area worked perfectly, and the Paddlewheel Room was just right for the number of guests we had. The food was good, the room was beautifully decorated. We stayed in the Captain's Quarters which was wonderful with our own private deck area. We had some friends and family back to the deck for after reception champagne and a front row seat on the river for the fireworks following the River Cats baseball game. All in all it was great. Everything went according to plan and schedule!

There are opportunitites that come along simply because you're in this place that cannot be forgotten. The setting, the elevated double-doors from which your bride will emerge, in a theatrical, incredible, fairytale way. Jenny Johnson, coordinator, manager, mother, BFF will shock you with her ability to handle everything at once, for all of the months leading up to the date, as well as the day of. Questions? Answered! If this setting is right for your wedding, just go ahead and plan it.

I've recently read a lot of negative reviews on the Delta King Hotel (mostly for restaurant service but several for weddings) and it's a shame their service wasn't as good as what I received. Yes, it's true getting ahold of the wedding coordinator wasn't always easy but she always called back eventually and once the wedding was within 2 months getting in contact was no longer an issue. The entire catering office was very patient with me and my frequent visits about little questions (I was a DIY bride). Everything was finished for me which was so nice. They helped set up and tear down, bring stuff from my car to my room, bring me water while I got ready, or whatever else I needed assistance with. They had a back up room available for in case it rained, and I had my changing room the entire time as well to hold peoples coats. They set up my location for my vows completely (including an archway, aisle, and flowers all for free). They arranged the captain to be my officiant (which I loved) and were very considerate of all my needs and wishes. The price of chair covers made me a little woozy but they had choices in every color, and the price would of been the same at any rental place. Everything looked fantastic. My guests were all well taken care of. The food (considering I wasn't a huge fan of their food from the mystery dinners) was superb! The whole staff was very professional, and when there was something missing that I needed, they were very quick to assist me. I will be coming back for my anniversary for sure!
