The Tapestry Lounge, located on our second level, is a great space for smaller receptions but can also fit up to 300 guests. Our Dahl Grand Banquet Room is an elegant space with beautiful pillars lining the outskirts of the room. With room for dancing, the space can hold up to 450 guests. Our final space, the "awe" inspiring Langdon Auditorium, is located on our third level and is perfect for ceremonies or presentations. This breathtaking space can seat up to 1000 guests. Mackenzie Westcott(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-08-2020 We got married and had our reception at the Scottish Rite this past weekend and highly recommend the building and staff! We thought this venue was a great value that allowed us the flexibility to bring in our own alcohol and food service, when other downtown locations did not. In addition, Shane and the rest of the Scottish Rite staff were incredibly accommodating. With the uncertainty during Covid, we visited and communicated with them regularly and they were always prompt and professional - which put us at ease. Several of our guests commented on the aesthetics and history of the building, which made us feel like this was the perfect choice for a unique wedding. Thanks for everything! Reviewed on 05-08-2020

This venue is awesome. They had the tables set up for my Sons wedding in the Auditorium and reception following in the Terrace room. The workers was helpful and checked in us during the decorating. Staff was friendly and was helpful when needed. Great Venue Reviewed on 13-07-2023
Lauren Plummer(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-10-2020 This venue was awesome. We got to bring in our own alcohol, and choose our own catering. We could also rent the parking lot across the street for a reasonable price. We could come in the Friday before for set up and the Sunday after for tear down. Great venue! Reviewed on 16-10-2020
taylor Morrison(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 31-12-2014 We got married New Year's Eve at the consistory. We had our wedding ceremony, meal, and a reception all in the same building which was great in December!! No one had to fight the cold. The stage was perfect for the band to play on and the room fit our 400+ guests comfortably. The venue provided all the tables and chairs and set them up where we wanted. The caterer had a lot of room to work in the kitchen. Reviewed on 08-01-2015

Kayla Lynch(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-08-2012 The Scottish Rite is an absolutely beautiful place to have your wedding reception. We booked the Grand Ball Room for an August wedding. It was HOT - but that was to be expected. They were great about letting us bring in catering and didn't stress me out one bit like some of our other vendors did. Shane (contact person) is very difficult to respond and/or get ahold of...but once you do, he's very nice and easy to work with. Definitely recommend the Scottish Rite! Reviewed on 03-09-2012

Kristina Welsh(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 26-05-2012 The Scottish Rite Consistory is a great place to have your reception. We had 350 guest and the ballroom in the Scottish Rite had more than enough room for all of us. You are able to bring in your own food and beverage which really helps cut cost compared to renting other venues. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to help in the planning / venue set up and allowing us to occupy the space early to decorate. Reviewed on 21-06-2012

Callie Simons(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 03-10-2009 We were looking for a place that was different and had some character for our wedding. We needed somewhere that allowed outside catering and could hold a few hundred people while still was within the budget. We looked everywhere and eventually found the Scottish Rite. It provided all of these things as well as a gorgeous setting. We held our ceremony in the Auditorium and we had our reception in the Tapestry Lounge. \r\rOur guests were blown away by how beautiful and unique the building was. It was also the perfect backdrop for pictures. Additionally, the staff was flexible and easy to work with. I would recommend this site to anyone who wants a gorgeous wedding and is planning on a large crowd. Reviewed on 26-05-2010
