Devens was the absolute perfect venue!!! The delicious food, attentive staff, attached hotel, and beautiful reception space made it the best wedding. Ashley guided us through all the planning to make sure our day was exactly how we wanted. Would highly recommend!!!

Hotel Staff was so great! The location is awesome this hotel is connected to the DCC and we had our welcome party there so it was so convenient for guests. All staff was great and they let some of our weekend wedding guests check in early, they also handed out our welcome bags for us. We worked with Ashley Lanni and she was super responsive helping us book a hotel block, the welcome party, etc. The food was great at DCC too!

Devens Common Center was an amazing choice for our wedding ceremony and reception. The staff was easy to work with and was always available for questions or anything we needed, even during the entire reception. The set up of the room exceeded my expectations, everything was so beautiful. My guests loved being able to go out onto the deck since it was a beautiful night and everyone raved about the food. We had about 150 guests so the ceremony outside on the patio was perfect. A wedding any bigger and I feel like it might be over crowded outside. I would definitely recommend this venue!

We had booked with them 15 months ago so by the time the Wedding Day arrived we had many phone calls back and forth , many trips to the venue to check things out and drop things off. I can't say enough good things about our whole experience working with Jen Roy and her staff. Every question was answered promptly. Any particular requests were followed through with .The facility is beautiful and very well kept- During our reception the rest rooms were cleaned and restocked 2x to make sure things were spotless. All the food was amazing. They have a tasting event so you have the opportunity to taste all the dishes offered before choosing your menu selections .The day of the wedding all the wait staff were very professional. The food was served hot with beautiful presentation. We have nothing but happy memories of the whole very special day!!

The sales rep who blocks off the marriott also blocks the Hilton. We used the Hilton. The hotel had a beautiful lobby, the rooms were basic. The service however was HORRIBLE. They were hardly responsive took me months to block off rooms and frequently we had error right up to wedding day. It was impossible to get in touch with the manager or sales reps.\r\r

We used this hotel for our room blocks for our September 25th 2015 wedding at The Barn at Gibbet Hill. The rooms are super clean, spacious, and have great lighting, which we took advantage of to have our hair and makeup done. Each room also has a pull out couch, which was super helpful as we booked our room block a little late and the hotel was running low on rooms with two double beds. Perfect reception venue for 200+ guests. My daughter initially wanted to have at a country club but difficult finding place big enough and with overnight accomodations and after party venue but we finally came across Spring Hill Suites, Devens, MA which had it all. The reception venue is simple but elegant with spacious area for cocktail party inside, along with outside patio and great deck for guests to have a drink, smoke a cigar and socialize. The ballroom was set up perfectly, features a large dance floor with amply room for a band & dj, and well spaced tables with floor length tablecloths :) Dinner was delicious and guests continue to say how wonderful the day was! We booked over 50+ rooms at the \"attached\" hotel and proceed to Deven's Grill ( 2 minutes WALK , on the grounds) for the after party! This is the place you are looking for if you want beautiful reception venue, hotel accomodations for your guests and after party all within walking! A few minor problems were brought to our attention by our guests, but overall it didn't effect the fabulous time had by all!

They set up everything exactly the way that I had imagined it. They kept things moving and fixed any crisis that occurred. Devens Common Center was the perfect place to hold our wedding. We held our ceremony and reception there. Jennifer Roy, Social Sales Manager (wedding coordinator/planner) has been there for seven years, and she was wonderful to work with. The staff overall was extremely professional and efficient. The food exceeded our expectations! In fact, it was even better at our reception than it was at the tasting! Our guests complimented us on how good it was.\r\rWe spent a good amount of time trying to find a place that didn't break the bank, but that would still provide excellent food and service. With Devens Common Center, we struck gold. We were able to hold our wedding on a Saturday in the summer because the minimum there was significantly lower than all the other places we looked at.\r\rI would recommend Devens Common Center over and over to brides, and I would also recommend it for special events.

I had a wonderful experience with Devens Common Center. From the very beginning meeting with Jennifer for the first time up until the end of our reception. Everything was perfect! They did everything exactly how I wanted it and everyone from coordinators to the bartenders were amazing to me, my husband and our guests. It's a beautiful venue and my pictures came out amazing. We were ready to book this venue (which is very beautiful on the inside, but does not have much to offer on the outside except for a large parking lot). After we looked at it and meeting with Jen Roy, we immediately called her twice & left voice messages and even wrote emails saying that we wanted to book it for our wedding venue. We were very confused as to why we never heard back from anyone! They clearly did not want our services, and after doing other searches found similar reviews of other people being disappointed with them not being able to book this venue. I don't know if you have to have \"connections\

Loved the ballroom at the Devens Common Center! The simple yet updated decor and open space were just what we were looking for. The outdoor spaces were a great bonus (which luckily we got to take advantage of with the great weather!), including a terrace and outdoor bar during cocktail hour. The food was excellent and many guests also stated so (it was my first truly tasty wedding chicken)! The staff was great and worked to make sure everyone was accommodated. The adjacent Marriott (and Hilton) hotel were very convenient. The pricing was inline with many other reception sites in the area, if not slightly better, but the set up of the room, outdoor space and hotel next door really sold us.

I really don't know where to begin. This venue made my dream wedding come true. John and I have rehashed every moment of 10/20/12 and there is absolutely nothing that could have been better. We wanted a venue that would be able to accommodate many out of town guests, have a classy, fresh feeling to it and not break our bank. The Devens Common Center was it. I can't get over how absolutely incredible working with Jen Roy and the staff at the common center was. I am a little sad it's over, only because she is so incredible. I am a lady of many questions, clarifications and Jen was SO responsive and reassuring. She never once made me feel like an inconvenience and explained the process to both John and I to make sure we were in control of our special day. Her event manager, Nate, was great also. They made sure appetizers were delivered to the bridal party while photos were being taken and generally checked in on us all night. Everything was set up for us and all we had to do was show up. It was spectacular. My guests are all still raving about our wedding and how the food, environment and energy was the best of any wedding they have been to. I'm talking the prime rib was phenomenal. In fact, I think it was BETTER on my wedding day than at the tasting, if that's even possible! \r\rThere are 3 packages to choose from, but Jen was fantastic about helping us craft a package that worked for us and our budget. Our night in the bridal suite was included no matter what. We have NO regrets and ALL of the best memories. It really was the BEST DAY EVER!

The Devens Common Center was nothing but the best leading up to our wedding day and the day of. I couldn't have asked for a more accommodating and respectful group of people to work with. No matter how many changes we made including menu changes or our guest count they were happy to oblige. Jennifer Roy was our Wedding Coordinator and she made me feel comfortable and helped us with suggestions the entire time. I thought I would have so much to do the day of the wedding to make sure things were the way I wanted them but her whole team took care of everything. Our 160 guests not only loved the service they were given but I heard nothing but wonderful things. The ceremony outside was set up just the way we wanted and the reception was absolutely gorgeous. I wouldn't say I'm a bridezilla by any means but the day of our wedding I was 5 1/2 months pregnant and without even asking the staff made sure I was comfortable and had water the entire time. We would recommend the Devens Common Center to anyone who wants to have a beautiful day without any stress at all. They gave us and our guests a day we will never forget and I'm so grateful for that.

I didn't realize that the coordinator would be leaving after dinner and handing the night off to an assistant--or I wouldn't have given her a large tip ahead of time! Also, there was some miscommunications about set-up time which left my coordinator scrambling causing some items to be left undone!\r\rFood was great! Staff (mostly) was very helpful and accommodating to allergies/special needs!

This place comes highly recommended! This was the first and only place my mother and I checked out for our wedding. Due to location, price and how beautiful the place is, it was a perfect fit for us. From day 1 they were very helpful and always answered any questions we had. They have a discounted rate for quests that are staying at the hotel for the wedding and it really was helpful as we had quite a few out of town guests. We got the honeymoon suite included in our package and it is beautiful and very spacious for all 4 of my girls and I to get ready in. I loved how we could have the ceremony and reception in the same place and not have to worry about transportation. The food was delicious and got alot of great comments from my guests. The waitstaff was very nice and everything ran smoothly. The ballroom is so beautiful for both the ceremony and reception. I couldnt have asked for a better venue.

This place comes highly recommended! This was the first and only place my mother and I checked out for our wedding. Due to location, price and how beautiful the place is, it was a perfect fit for us. From day 1 they were very helpful and always answered any questions we had. They have a discounted rate for quests that are staying at the hotel for the wedding and it really was helpful as we had quite a few out of town guests. We got the honeymoon suite included in our package and it is beautiful and very spacious for all 4 of my girls and I to get ready in. When we went to look at Devens we were pleasantly surprised with the decor and staff. It is much more beautiful and elegant than pictures on their website show. We chose Devens for the location, staff, decor and prices. Devens is conveniently located right off the highway and was easy for out of town guests to find. It was big enough to hold our 185 guests with plenty of room for dancing and space between the tables. We had our ceremony inside and the walkway between the hotel and Common Center made it so I didn't have to go out in the heat at all. We were able to get ready with plenty of space for hair and makeup in the bridal suite and it was so nice to not have to worry about transportation by having the hotel next door. The staff were more than friendly and accomodating. They went above and beyone to make sure that we had a stress/worry free day and everything fell into place wonderfully. All of our guests commented on how tasty the food was and how helpful the staff were both at the Common Center and the Marriott. We made all of our centerpieces and they gave us a space the day before to assemble them and refridgerated them for us! Both sides of our families had a wonderful time and my husband and I couldn't be more pleased with the help we recieved throughout the planning process and day of. I think I was the least stressed bride my family has seen! Thank you to all of the staff for making our day exactly what we were looking for!
