What else can I say about Dinolfo's? the service was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Cheryl, Rich, Caitlyn, Richie and Jordan were more than willing to be accommodating for our special day. They checked on us routinely and always provided the best services. We had absolutely no issues with our day. Any time I had any questions, they were always right there to answer the phone and help us with anything we needed. Setting up, preparing our special day and the food - everything went smoothly! Even when our timing was a bit off because pictures and getting ready took so long, they were more than happy to help adjust our schedule for dinner and everything else we needed. The food was amazing, the staff constantly checked on us and made sure we were okay and everything went smoothly. If you're thinking about booking this venue for your special day or any other event, LOOK NO FURTHER! I absolutely would recommend Dinolfo's to anyone looking to host an event. Once again, thank you Dinolfos!!!!! Thank you for giving us special memories that will last a lifetime! We are so grateful and thankful that we chose this venue.

I've never written a negative review in my life, but I felt like I owed it to anyone who takes the time to read reviews and is contemplating whether or not to choose DiNolfo’s as their venue. Please don’t waste your time any further and save yourself unnecessary headaches and heartaches on your big day. Don’t think twice about passing this one up, you won’t be sorry you went elsewhere. I had high hopes for DiNolfo’s. After visiting multiple venues, their tall ceilings and large windows persuaded me to book for our wedding but don’t let that fool you. The price tag does not match the service or quality of this place. When you drop thousands and thousands of dollars for your wedding venue, you would think there would be some type of manager/coordinator working your event. This was not the case, we had very young servers asking us, as the bride and groom, multiple questions throughout the night. The bride and groom should not be bothered with any sort of questions around planning the night of their wedding, such as “what time would you like dinner to be served?” This was something we had already finalized with their staff prior to our wedding day. This next issue was the biggest disappointment I encountered with DiNolfo’s. Unfortunately, my baker almost got in a car accident on the way to the venue when delivering our cake and had to slam on the brakes. With that, my cake was destroyed. My baker ended up going back to their store about 45 minutes away to remake our cake. The bakery relayed this message to DiNolfo’s (DiNolfo's staff even saw my cake exploded in their van). DiNolfo’s did NOT relay this message to anyone!! They could have told anyone, like my parents, a bridesmaid, even me or my husband (this all happened around 4pm, plenty of time to let someone know). Instead, I found out as I was introduced by our DJ as the new Mr. & Mrs., when walking onto the dance floor to cut our cake, only to see that it was missing from the cake table. The reason was because my chosen bakery was not DiNolfo’s preferred vendor. Because of this, DiNolfo’s chose not to work with us or the baker when this situation took place. Instead we were left in the dark, we had no idea what had happened until after 7pm and cocktail hour began at 6:30pm. When my parents and I went to ask the wait staff where it was they proceeded to tell me “I have no idea what happened to your cake, it never showed up” & “we have a prop cake you can use”, this was one of the top worst things you could say to a bride on her wedding day after the many months of planning. Their wait staff were very young and had no idea how to handle this situation, they acted like it wasn’t a big deal. I had to demand I speak to a manager, which is crazy because you would think there would already be one in sight when hosting a 200 person wedding. When she finally came out to speak with us there was no remorse and no willingness to help. It was then when I was finally told what had happened to our cake. I was told that they tried contacting the bakery and they weren’t sure when they would be back with the cake. This was a lie, they never contacted the bakery because they refuse to coordinate with a bakery not on their list of preferred vendors. It was an absolute terrible experience. This unprofessionalism delayed our entire timeline for the night, from the speech’s, to dinner, first dances, the dancing in general all got pushed back. Time was robbed from us. It was so disappointing and hard to move past as the bride.Then to top it all off, when I went to call DiNolfo’s a few days after our wedding to discuss what happened, I was ignored for over a week. I asked to speak to their male owner (I won’t divulge any names) on a few different occasions, and he was too much of a coward to call me back. Finally, I got a hold of someone I had worked very closely with to plan out details of our wedding. I expressed how I felt to her and again, barely was given an apology, and expressed no care in the world and she wished my husband and I well. It was total black and white from her demeanor when helping me plan our wedding. After this encounter and everything else I had experienced, it was so clear to me how fake and inauthentic their staff is. Another very shitty encounter was one my dad experienced. It was a few minutes before cocktail hour and my dad went to grab a beer at the bar and was denied. Again, the high price tag we paid for food/drink and the father of the bride cannot even order a drink from the open bar 2 minutes before the reception started. The lack of respect given at this place is unbelievable. Once they have your money, the customer service goes downhill. They genuinely don’t care about you as a person or your wedding celebration. They treat you like a number and only want your money. My husband could smell their phoniness from the start, but unfortunately, I gave them a chance. I could go on with other mishaps, but it’s not worth my breath anymore.

The place looks nice, but unfortunately, the staff is not professional at all. We found some of our wedding accessories with our guest book in the trash (we delivered everything one day prior, with clear agreement with the venue staff). The guest book had our names and the dates on it. We did not receive any official apology and they completely ignored my emails. I was very disappointed and super stressed before the wedding. I would strongly recommend staying away from them.

We were a little nervous about the food since they don’t offer a food tasting, but after reading other reviews raving about the food we were less nervous. Turns out the food was amazing! Even the most picky eater raved about the food!!

We were a little nervous about the food since they don’t offer a food tasting, but after reading other reviews raving about the food we were less nervous. Turns out the food was amazing! Even the most picky eater raved about the food!!

WHERE DO I START? If you want a venue that is very accommodating and makes it there absolute priority to make your dream day come to life than this is the venue for you! My husband and I were so pleased how everything turned out and it was truly a dream come true. We had a very strict budget and DiNolfos was very helpful with this. We chose to do the family style and everything was sooo delicious. So many options with family style. Our guest were so happy with the menu we picked out. My family has a lot of allergy and diet restrictions and DiNolfos made it so easy to navigate that with different food options. I’ve seen a lot of reviews about food coming out cold and we didn’t have that issue at all. The staff was great and on top of everything. Very organized. Communicating with the girls here was always refreshing and I never felt I was a burden. They made me their priority and I never would feel like my wedding day wasn’t important. I emailed them at least 200 times (not even joking) and every time they were so patient and attentive… in the end I was actually really sad for it all to end. I had so much fun wedding planning. Caitlyn and Madison were so knowledgeable and professional and who I communicated with most. You will not regret having your wedding at DiNolfos. I wish I could live our big day over one more time. Most incredible day of my life and I will cherish it forever.

The food was delicious, and they were very helpful throughout the year that I was planning with any questions and accommodations. The staff there were all so courteous and helpful, especially Caitlyn! They were accommodating and great with all our vendors. We were able to get in a day ahead and set up - the venue is beautiful on the inside and outside, we even took our photos outside! I would recommend them to anyone!

Everyone at DiNolfo's was beyond accommodating and helpful with answering our questions and concerns, then ultimately helping us switching dates and helping us navigate through that difficult time. While we had to postpone the wedding a year, I know it's going to be worth the wait and that we are in good hands! They truly want you to be happy and have been wonderful to work with.

Dinolfo's has been wonderful in working with us during COVID 19. They were patient with us and had many conversations with us as we made the difficult decision to postpone our June 2020 wedding. We were able to completely reschedule our wedding and they were truly supportive and helpful during this hard time!

As soon as we walked out the first day we looked at this venue we both were smiling and saying yep! This is the one! It’s so beautiful. Has private bridal suites, a grooms room next to the bar, and two of the rooms have a private outdoor area. The on-site chapels make it very convenient and they’re so adorable! Everyone has answered all our questions quickly and everyone we’ve encountered has been extremely helpful and caring. We can’t wait to have our wedding here!

Dinolfo's team worked with us very well for nearly the entire wedding planning process. They had excellent communication, answered all our questions, and were flexible and accommodating. Additionally, the venue was beautiful and the event itself went very smoothly. There is only 1 reason I give them 3 stars: Our wedding was in March 2020, just when fears of COVID-19 were growing. We repeatedly asked them if they had a plan for if things got worse and they did not. When things began to get shut down and did indeed get worse, they did not allow us to reschedule our event or even change our numbers. They had a change of heart the morning of our wedding--when it was far too late for us to change the date. But they did allow us to change our numbers, so we are grateful for that. I know that the Coronavirus presented unique and unpredictable challenges to businesses, but it also put us in a very difficult position. It really left a bad taste in our mouth that our venue was not initially supportive.

DiNolfo's was our selected reception venue for our February 15, 2020 wedding. You won't regret selecting this place for your wedding or big event. We did our research and visited many venues- we looked for cleanliness, quality of food, and overall venue appearance- DiNolfo's has it all! Jessica was there to support us since day one-communication was effective and fast. They were also flexible and are willing to work with your personal preferences. Yes, we were nervous about not being able to taste the food, but honestly don't worry about it- it taste great! The bartender we had that day, was just simply above average- he was friendly, professional, and fast- not to mention the drinks taste amazing!

Our wedding took place on 01-04-2020 and was our dream of a Roaring 20s Winter Wonderland. We had 410 guests and pleasing that many people is nearly impossible BUT the team at DiNolfo's made it happen! Guests are still raving about the elegance, charming atmosphere, and accessablility. Every idea we had the team listened and executed and for every part that we were unsure of they carefully explored all options and never tried to sway us one way or another just shared their professional experience. We had lots of other vendors coming in for specialty appetizers, sweets, etc and DiNolfo's assisted them in whatever they needed and made a team effort to create a beautiful wedding. Thank you for everything :) a day we will never forget

I was married at DiNolfo's on 10/19/19. We did a ton of research and visited a few other venue options, but ended up here for a variety of reasons. Firstly, my now-husband and I wanted to have our ceremony in the same location as the reception, but not necessarily as a flipped room. We've been to weddings where you awkwardly congregate in a lobby area or small cocktail space for an hour or more while the ceremony space is transformed into the reception space and we weren't fond of the idea. DiNolfo's has two chapels upstairs, both beautiful, so we were able to say our \"I do's\" and send our guests straight into the reception room for cocktails and snacks.Secondly, we were having a smaller wedding and the pricing packages at DiNolfo's were competitive. You have to meet minimum guest requirements to secure certain rooms, but we were able to have our Saturday wedding in a beautiful room even with a smaller guest count. They also went above and beyond with my requests for White Castles and a build-your-own sundae bar as late-night snacks.Thirdly, everyone was super helpful and responsive. I had a lot of questions via email that were answered within about a business day every time. Arin was a great tour guide our first time at the venue and wasn't pushy about anything. When we went to set up our reception room, the tablecloths weren't the color I was expected and the team didn't hesitate to put in a rush order to get a new color in time for my event. Overall, DiNolfo's is a beautiful space for a wedding and they have some great options for every taste. I would definitely recommend them to brides and grooms searching for a pretty location with a dedicated team.

We just had our wedding reception here on May 4th, 2019 and all I can say is WOW!! To start, the staff here are one of a kind. They were truly the reason why our wedding night went off without a hitch. If I would choose three words to describe them, they would be supportive, inspiring, and amazingly professional (I know, four words, but I couldn't hold back!) The food was delicious on all accounts. We had family style served and our guests could not stop raving about how yummy it all was. This venue is 100% on top of their business aspects. They were always organized and knew exactly what details we asked for whenever we came in to complete another small step towards creating our dream night. To top it all off, my husband and I were so blessed when we found out the venue gifted us the room next to ours when they looked and saw that it was unoccupied for our date. This was a complete surprise to us! It just shows how much this venue cares for their clients. The room was breathtaking, the grand staircase made for amazing photographs (both inside AND outside of our venue room!) The bridal suites were clean, comfortable, and the perfect space for our bridal party to take a few minutes before the reception to relax and get ready for the party! I cannot speak highly enough of this amazing venue and staff. Even a month later, we still miss going to see them!

Don’t believe the bad reviews. My wedding ceremony and reception on 2/23/19 was nothing short of AMAZING. The Willow chapel was beautifully set up and the perfect little space for my light-hearted ceremony. All of the staff from the managers (Richie, Cheryl & especially Arin) to the bartenders and servers, were on top of it for my reception. All of my guests have raved about the Cypress room and the incredible food. We had the crispy chicken, beef and pirogies - it was absolutely delicious. If you’re a nervous bride who wants everything perfect, this is the perfect venue for you. Seriously.

We had a great experience with DiNolfo's for our November 2018 wedding. One of the things we appreciated most is that you can call their office any time they're open and someone will pick up and be willing to help you. We appreciated that availability greatly, because any question, big or small, we could trust that it would be answered immediately. Our wedding was for about 100 people and it was reasonably priced for what we received. We did have to make a trip to the venue 2 days prior to the event and correct some small imperfections with the setup, etc. But that was all handled very well and fixed promptly. We were surprised to hear 2 days prior to the event that our sparkler exit would not be possible due to fire code for the property, but that wasn't an enormous deal, just something to be aware of is all. Would definitely recommend DiNolfo's as an option to host your wedding event.

The venue is very elegant and huge. I was excited working with them for almost a year and 6 months but the disappointing part is they don’t have an in house food tasting so we don’t know what to expect. The price is doable I have 265 guests and I had their VIP package I was supposed to have a sweet table but it wasnt set up early .. it’s too late like 9:30 pm my party began at 6:30 pm dinner at 7:30 pm and it wasn’t the sweet table showing in their website picture .. three to four small trays and it wasn’t enough even for 100 guests and I paid for 265. We should also have unlimited hot hordevres on cocktail hour and serve the bridal party upstairs and no one showed up. Our guests was waiting for food and waitress promise to come back and never came back. Not enough food for everybody and paid for 265 guests Not enough wine serve in the table as well . My cake was supposed to be cut and wrap in foil for my guests to take home and never did. Slow and short staff. We were talking to too many different staff like Cheryl, Rich, Jessica and Erin during the process and none of them coordinated my requests except my payments. They have a head waitress but no clue of what I’m supposed to be having🤭I contacted them after the wedding and the person I’m looking for is either with a customer or won’t be back till Thursday . So watch for your best interest to prevent frustrations.

They offer so many options to basically customize your wedding day with whatever you want. The building itself is stunning and the food is amazing. We had planned on taking outdoor pictures before the ceremony but it rained and they allowed us to come into the building earlier than planned so we could do our pictures inside. Dinolfo’s is an awesome place to have your wedding.

The food was delicious, the service was great and they worked with my vision. Was concerned being an out of town Bride but Erin and Madison helped every step of the way. Great place for those who want to have everything at one place. My guest loved it all too and said it was a beautiful venue! They’re still talking about how good the broccoli and cheddar soup was 😊 The prices are indeed reasonable! So glad I decided to have my special day at DiNolfo’s. I highly recommend this place to have your wedding.

DiNolfo's offers a variety of meal options, design packages, and add ons. It was a one stop shop and that made it significantly less stressful during the planning stage. Each reception room comes with a bridal suite for getting ready for the day. It was a great place to relax before they ceremony. We were able to further personalize our ceremony with uplighting, linen upgrades, chivari chairs, and a personalized monogram. The only need for improvement I see is with the dinner service. Dinner and dessert courses were removed before guests were finished with them. Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend it.

We were really excited to have our wedding of 300 guests here until a couple days before the wedding. We weren’t allowed to decorate past 7pm and could not arrive any earlier than 11. This was problematic because we had rehearsal dinner and last minute errands. My card table had bbq sauce stains on it. Our waitress did not bring our drinks. My mom did not receive her fillet mignon as previously confirmed. My ring bearer did not receive his chicken tender plate. My cake I had to pay extra for since I’m celiac was cleared before I even had a chance to eat. The staff did not fill my centerpieces with water and light the floating candles as promised. Some items were left behind. My husband and I were in Paris for our honeymoon. Eventually, a voice mail message was left from Cheryl stating, “we are really outreaching ourselves. Out of respect you will give us a call back.” Needless to say, I will NOT be recommending this venue to anyone.

Ah! I cannot begin to review them! They were AMAZING. My wedding was more than I could have imagined. If you get a chance to work with Aryn, you will not be disappointed. She was truly the best part of my wedding, other than marrying my husband! You could tell that she truly cared about us and wanted our day to be perfect. She was more than just a coordinator for us. She was our fairy godmother! (Our wedding had a Disney theme, haha)

We just had our wedding, and we cannot thank the staff enough for everything.We only had two hiccups: two of our tables were only set up for 9 seats when they should've been set up for 10, and something happened with our cake to where about a third of our guests didn't get to have a slice.Even with the two hiccups, the staff didn't hesitate to help fix them. Once informed about the seating mishap, I was able to let a server know right away, and the staff immediately set up the additional settings at both of the tables, and in lieu of the wedding cake, the guests who didn't receive the cake were given ice cream.The food was very good! Everything came out hot and ready to be eaten. Service was very quick, too. We also did the pizza package and had 5 pizzas delivered as a late night snack.We opted to upgrade our bar so that it would serve 3 domestic bottles along with the full-service bar and 3 draft beers included with our Exclusive Package, and I believe it was worth every penny. DiNolfo's was able to get all of the bottled beer we requested and never ran out. I highly recommend this to other couples planning weddings here since the bottled beer was a huge hit.DiNolfo's made sure to set up all of our uplights, monogram, escort cards and party favors on time. The gold chiavari chairs really made a huge difference in our ball room. We booked the Cypress room, and luckily the weather held out because a ton of our guests utilized our private patio.I loved that most everything was handled by DiNolfo's. With the exception of our own little decorations to add and our DIY centerpieces, they made everything else possible including linens, dishes, utencils, drink glasses, and our Exclusive Package included table runners, uplighting, the custom monogram, 3 LED pub tables, pass hors d'oeurves, and so much more.The staff was incredibly helpful, answered all my questions (and trust me, there were a LOT I was coming up with), and work extremely hard to make brides and grooms happy and care-free for their wedding day.

I just had my wedding there last Friday July 7, 2017 the venue is beautiful that's what sold us, but unfortunately my review is not a good one being that for the $15,000 we paid for 136 people we expected the servers and bartenders to be polite and courteous to our guest. The bartenders acted as if they could not understand our hispanic guest that are fluent in English and did not want to keep serving our guests drinks when it's open bar and we had paid for upgraded liquor per person as well as take our own pineapple juice and squirt! The servers attitudes were as if they didn't want to be there or as if they didn't get paid for attending guests. Again do not be fooled by the place itself it's beautiful.. I read reviews like the one I'm leaving here and thought it can't be, but yes if you do decide to have your wedding here please bring up the staff and service to the wedding coordinator before you sign anything!

I couldn't have asked for a better venue or staff to share my day with. Arin is an absolute sweetheart and made me feel like family right down to the very last minute when I was losing my mind. Everything right down to the smallest detail was amazing, it has been a little over a month and I am still hearing about how beautiful wedding and venue was and how amazing the food is. We couldn't have made a better decision.....Thank you for everything!!

I had my wedding at DiNolfo's in October and couldn't have been happier. Throughout the entire wedding planning process the staff at DiNolfo's were helpful and friendly, as well as accommodating. We received so many compliments from friends and family about how great of a wedding we had, and we know our wedding would not have been the same if we had not chosen DiNolfo's. The food was delicious, the venue is gorgeous, and we are so happy we chose DiNolfo's for our wedding reception.

Having a guest list of 400+ made my not excited to start the venue search for my ceremony AND reception. Cost per person, beautiful space, parking, easy to get to, good food, were all very important to me. Once I walked into DiNolfos I knew it was the place we'd get married. The open lobby, gorgeous high ceilings, staircase, and outdoor courtyard were just the beginning of what we loved. The staff was incredibly accommodating for our unique needs. We also had my bridal shower here and it was beautiful. We have heard nothing but wonderful feedback from all of our guests as well. I highly recommend DiNolfo's for any wedding or large event! This venue was amazing. From start to finish they were very easy to work with. Pros: Easy to talk to. Communication was open and they answered all my questions in a timely manner. The people were very nice and happy to work there. They set up everything in the venue how we wanted and made the décor exactly how we wanted. Everyone enjoyed the food and I received feedback from my guests that the food was amazing ( We had the choice of the Italian chicken and chicken visuvio). Payment was easy. Options were endless. The outside terrace was a huge hit especially since it was so nice out. The venue itself is gorgeous with the large windows behind the bridal party. Dinolfo's has done many weddings and it shows. Overall excellent experience. Cons: I was told three days before my wedding that everything needed to be taken down at the end of the night even though I asked prior if this needed to be done. They did work with us to make sure we received all our décor back and that it was stored properly for pick up the next day. My Italian chicken was dry. I would have thought they would give the bride a good dish over a bad one. Again, I heard from all my guests they loved their dinner and that's all that matters to me. The carpet is kind of dated. It showed in some pictures but not many.

I went to look at the place with my fiance last month and at first I was totally impressed and Arin was amazing too. We went back yesterday with our family and the deposit to seal the deal until we were treated with the utmost disrespect. Cheryl was very rude and not being helpful at all when it came to explaining things. Then when it came to negotiating she and this man told me that if I want a lower price I need to go else where and that Dinolfos was not the place for me. I literally ran out of the venue crying because of their attitude towards me. My fiance told me that it's okay we love the venue and we will just work with Arin. I was seconds away from walking back in to bite my tounge and still give them the deposit until my dad came out yelling because one of the works screamed at him for standing next to a piano. This place is a joke.

We got married June 11th. Everything was perfect! Food was amazing. They do not offer tastings however we have been to several weddings here before so that was not an issue for us. We got TONS of food compliments. From the apps to dinner and sweet table, it was all delicious!!! I even had a few compliments on the bar staff with a \"good pour\" which is always nice for open bar! They fast to respond to emails and worked with me well when I needed to make any adjustments. Definitely would recommend!

My fiancée and I went here to visit. Going in, it was our top choice. Even so much we were going to guarantee a guest number yo just be able to have our reception there. Everything seemed wonderful until we asked about food. Due to medical reasons it is imperative that I can sample the food. Otherwise I may end up vomiting. I explained my medical concern as to why it's important to me to taste my menu. However, they didn't care and kept referring to their 40 yrs in service. Dinolfos NEVER does a tasting. They expect you to spend 20+ thousand dollars and never sample what they provide. This seems fishy to me. Despite this, my fiancé and I still considered choosing dinolfos until the other day. We received a follow up call. I informed them of my concerns and where they were. How we were still discussing because it's a lot of money to place in someone else's hands without ever trying the product. Well when I again informed themOf my medical condition and concern for not trying the good. The lonely lady responded to me stating \"well we area banquet hall not a restaurant\". Well mad pardon me while take my business elsewhere that cares about their clients wedding and experience. Stay far far away from here!

They expect you to spend 20+ thousand dollars and never sample what they provide. This seems fishy to me. Despite this, my fiancé and I still considered choosing dinolfos until the other day. We received a follow up call. I informed them of my concerns and where they were. How we were still discussing because it's a lot of money to place in someone else's hands without ever trying the product. Well when I again informed themOf my medical condition and concern for not trying the good. The lonely lady responded to me stating \"well we area banquet hall not a restaurant\". Well mad pardon me while take my business elsewhere that cares about their clients wedding and experience. Stay far far away from here!

Overall I'm very pleased with my decision to choose Dinolfo's in Homer Glen for my wedding reception. They were very pleasant to work without throughout the planning process, they offered a lot of great options for food, alcohol, and decor, and they are very reasonably priced. They were nothing but professional every time I spoke to them in person or on the phone, regardless of which employee it was. On the day of my wedding the ballroom was stunning, the vendors didn't have any problems setting up, and the food was delicious. The only complaints I have are 1) we paid extra for a martini bar during cocktail hour, we purchased, washed, and brought in 200 martini glasses because Dinolfo's required us to bring our own, and then when it came time for the cocktail hour the martinis were served warm (and none of them were a recipe where this would be acceptable). I didn't think I'd have to tell an experienced venue with experienced bartenders that they needed to shake or stir a martini with ice, but apparently I did. I tried 2 of them, and I didn't even think they were drinkable because they were so warm. The other issue was that we had wedding crashers from the other wedding going on. Not one, and not only once, but groups of 5-6 people who continuously came in to our wedding many times throughout the night. Honestly, if they weren't obnoxious I probably wouldn't even have noticed, but they were bothering me and the photographers, they were running away from my wedding planner when she tried to kick them out, and the signed my guestbook \"we crashed your wedding.\" I left the reception at one point to complain to the people in the main office because I was so annoyed (NOT something I should have to do during my own wedding!), and they posted a security guard at the door, but he was absolutely useless. He just stood there as they continued to come in and be disruptive. I just can't imagine what an issue this probably is when Dinolfo's has 3 or 4 weddings going on; there was only one on the night of mine, and they couldn't even control the guests then. I complained to Rich jr. the next day when I came back to pick up my things, and all he said was \"I'm sorry, I wish I would have known.\" Now granted, I didn't tell him specifically because he wasn't in the office when I complained, but I thought informing the 2 other employees who were in there (Carolina and Laura) would be sufficient; apparently not. I'm just disappointed that a venue with as good of a reputation as this, and who appears to have their act together in all other ways, can't figure out a way to keep guests in their own wedding. I'm sorry to taint an otherwise good review with this experience, but I think it's important for people to be aware that this could be a problem at their wedding. Other than this, however, we enjoyed our wedding and are happy with the service.

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful venue. The staff was great. They were always available to show the space and they were extremely responsive on any email requests. The room looked beautiful. We had the cypress and the oak and it looked like a dream. We were able to go in and set up our favors when we brought everything in 2 days before the wedding. The food was incredible. The service was also perfect. We've had several guests tell us it was the best food they've had at a wedding. That definitely says a lot when you have a large wedding and it's at a banquet facility. Cheryl you were wonderful. You made my experience as a bride so flawless. Thank you and your team for everything!

One of the most important things in a wedding is the venue...which is why I decided to go with DiNolfos. I have attended weddings here before so i knew that the set up was as beautiful as shown in pictures! It is a little on the expensive side compared to some other venues however....you get what you pay for and in my opinion it was well worth it! The Glass windowed rooms and stairs cases and chandeliers are beautiful on their own which makes the decorating much easier! But besides the great looks rooms what got me to book DiNolfos was Rich. He stands behind his Banquet hall in every way, extremely friendly doesn't car sales you into booking. \r\rHowever I did have some negatives: \rThe staff besides Rich isn't very friendly...I received several phone calls to \"confirm\" certain details of the wedding weeks/days before the wedding and the person calling at times seemed confused or rather bother by the call.\rAny questions i had were often not answered nor given a call back if you spoke to the ladies there.\rI requested there to be several vegetarian plates, but came to find that several guests werent given them. \rI paid extra for lighting which I had three lights go out during soup and where never fixed.so seemed as money wasted at the point since it was at the head table...\rAlso, I was told several times I couldn't have certain things at my wedding because they were from outside vendors...yet right before my wedding I attended a wedding that had Sweets and other things brought in...\r\rWhen booking this venue id suggest working directly and only with Rich.\r\rThe place is beautiful and the food was great ( you cant do a taste testing though) and the night of the wedding everything ran smoothly. Overall its not a bad choice i do suggest being over diligent with working with them and keepings track of your own payments and details discussed.

The venue is beautiful and the prices are very fair. For a larger wedding I would highly recommend because the room is a very spacious- lots of room to dance, move, eat- lots of compliments on the space. The dinner was very good as well and you have several options to choose from. The room was set up just how they had said and looked great when we walked in. If you are bringing in your OWN centerpieces do know that the venue will not set them up or take down. If you are using something from a florist or renting from the venue then they or your florist will help with that. I was pleased overall with the venue and would recommend to others. The only downside would be that the people I worked with throughout the planning process were not there the night of and I ran into a few issues that the staff the night of were confused on or unsure about so make sure that everything is very clear or you have a copy of contract/notes to refer to to avoid any issues that could arise there. Otherwise you will be pleased with your choice with this venue!

Dinolfo's was fairly priced and they were accommodating. Dinolfo's was the cleanest and newest facility we saw and had a gorgeous entry way that is great for pictures! Anything we asked for they accommodated, and anything we changed was not a problem. I would recommend this banquet hall for modern weddings that are not overly extravagant. If you are a picky bride but enjoy choices, Dinolfo's is the place for you.

They made the planning process fun and easy and helped to ensure that every detail was as we wanted it to be. \r\rThe reception itself was both beautiful and flawlessly executed. Our banquet room had stunning ballroom-style windows and chandeliers, a grand staircase, and an upscale bar area, creating a look of stylish modern elegance. My Husband and I got married at DiNolfo's and had our reception there 12/13/14! \r\rThe Willow Chapel is BEAUTIFUL and seated our 145 guests with just a few seated in overflow, just outside of the chapel. The only downside to the overflow seating is that it meant the chapel doors could not be closed for the ceremony and there was a VERY loud bridal party outside of our room. Definitely not the halls fault, but the bridal party was constantly in and out of their bridal suite. It did not disrupt our service at all and no one knew it was happening...we only were told by the people in overflow.\r\rFor the Aspen Room, everything was perfect. The servers were amazing! They graciously brought an additional bottle of wine over for the bridal party. Anything we asked about was done for us (like to have our cocktail tables put outside earlier) The room looked AMAZING! We've had nothing but compliments about how beautiful our wedding was. The hall was kind to our guests, our vendors, and did a great job setting up the room. They let us come plenty early to set up and use the hall early to take pictures before the wedding.\r\rThey were helpful when we needed anything! We would choose them again all over! They have GREAT winter specials too, so our wedding was amazing, yet surprisingly affordable.\r\rThe package we picked had a cake with it and we'd suggest going through Naples. The exclusive package is a GREAT option and gives you unlimited appetizers and great uplighting and linens. Our guests appreciated the snacks! It was so easy to do the entire wedding/reception in one place and DiNolfo's made it a truly perfect day!

We've had nothing but compliments about how beautiful our wedding was. The hall was kind to our guests, our vendors, and did a great job setting up the room. They let us come plenty early to set up and use the hall early to take pictures before the wedding.\r\rThey were helpful when we needed anything! We would choose them again all over! They have GREAT winter specials too, so our wedding was amazing, yet surprisingly affordable.\r\rThe package we picked had a cake with it and we'd suggest going through Naples. The exclusive package is a GREAT option and gives you unlimited appetizers and great uplighting and linens. Our guests appreciated the snacks! It was so easy to do the entire wedding/reception in one place and DiNolfo's made it a truly perfect day!

This venue is fantastic! We had our ceremony and reception at Dinolfo's Banquets which was very convenient for us and our guests. They offer multiple packages that meet a variety of needs. We went with the color collection and exclusive package which provided gorgeous uplighting in the reception, a sweets table, a contract with a bakery for our cake, and more. The hall is stunning to begin with, but we had our wedding in December which provided extra decor of Christmas trees and lighting. The customer service is excellent, we got great feedback on the food, and most importantly they run on time.

Everything was going wonderfully until...... They served our custom cake to another wedding!!!! They proceeded to serve our guests another cake which I quickly put a halt to. NOBODY came to explain. While I know mistakes happen, had I known our cake was GONE, I Would have allowed the alternate cake to be served. We had our wedding and reception at DiNolfo's Banquets of Homer Glen and couldn’t have been more pleased. The chapel was perfect for our ceremony. The florist was able to add lots of flowers to give it the romantic vibe we were going for. The banquet room was beautiful. The food was fresh and delicious. We were able to personalize everything to fit our dream. We had even custom chair covers and a monogram projection. The room had tall ceilings with huge windows that gave a very romantic feel to the night. The staff was friendly and did everything to make sure our day was perfect. We were able to have the wedding of our dreams at DiNolfo's Banquets of Homer Glen and stay under budget.

We had our reception in Dinolfo's of Homer Glen and our wedding was BEAUTIFUL! The food was delicious! I was very nervous about the food because they don't offer tastings, but it turned out to be really good and huge plates! We had our reception in the Cypress room and had our monogram against the wall with the lighting. THE ENTIRE room looked BEAUTIFUL, just as imagined it! As for the staff, they were nice to us! but very rude to our DJ (which happened to be a family friend) the main waitress kept forgetting our drinks, we had to keep reminding her, but it was no big deal. My husband also left money on the bathroom floor of the bridal room at the end of the night (he had to change after the reception) and we called to claim it and \"there was nothing there\" which i think they were lying, because we were the last ones to leave from the party. BUT, overall, Im happy we had our wedding there. Since day one when I walked in Dinolfos I knew that's the place I wanted my wedding to be!

I just had my wedding ceremony and reception at DiNolfo’s Banquets of Homer Glen and have absolutely no complaints. The venue was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff was a joy to work with. They definitely took good care of us! There were multiple weddings going on that night and I couldn’t even tell—plenty of room in the bathrooms and lobby, and I couldn’t hear the other rooms’ music in my room. Thank you, DiNolfo’s, for making my day perfect!

Cheryl and rich helped us plan everything from out of town so we were not sure what to expect but they went above and beyond to make a beautiful wedding for us. We had our reception at DiNolfo's of Homer Glen in June 2014. We stopped in many times after signing our contract to discuss our menu and additional options, and the staff was always friendly and answered our questions, and we were very much able to customize our wedding to what we wanted. The final cost of our wedding was exactly as we had discussed, and the room turned out beautifully - the end rooms with the windows and patio are a special added touch! We dropped of items we wanted displayed and instructions for how we wanted them set-up two days before, and the set-up was exactly what I had pictured. The staff throughout the night was very attentive and polite, and family and friends commented on how the bartenders remembered their orders, which was impressive. Our guests also commented on how good the food was - I particularly enjoyed the turkey and pork!\r\rMy only complaint was in the special menu items we had requested for our guests that must eat gluten free for health reasons. We reminded the staff on multiple occasions that we had 2 individuals that would require gluten free meals, and both individuals did not receive their meals at first. Both individuals had to ask the servers for their meals, and even after that, they took a while to come out. I was disappointed to learn that the gluten free meals was just rice and vegetables - the same as the vegetarian plate. These days there are so many meat options for gluten free individuals, I wish DiNolfo's would have had those types of gluten free options.\r\rOverall, we were very happy with our choice, and we enjoyed every minute of our reception, thanks to DiNolfo's!

The venue was breathtaking, but after that what should have been a memorable occasion was flawed because of rude management and staff. I have never heard of a caterer who would not let you see or taste the food you're paying for! \r\r\rThey wanted to charge extra for any miniscule request. Extra charges were added that weren't discussed. The bakery who delivered the wedding cake was treated rudely. What's worse, throughout the ceremony, you could hear dishes clanking. They had to be asked twice to quiet down. Afterwards we were not permitted to use special photo areas because another wedding had arrived. Members of the other wedding party joined us and we were made to feel, by management, like we were interfering with them! I cannot recommend or give any stars to this venue because this once-in-a-lifetime occasion cannot be redone.

We had our ceremony in the larger chapel and that too was just perfect. If the way that they have it decorated was great before we added our own touches! Wish I could go back and relive every second!

DiNolfo's in Homer Glen is a beautiful venue. For the its value I was able to have the wedding of my dreams. Being an out-of-town bride, the staff was extremely helpful in answering any questions I had and lived up to all that was promised. I was a bit disappointed though that on the day of my wedding a few of the smaller details we overlooked, no one from DiNolfo's personally came to speak to me. All in all I enjoyed my experience and would reccommend them!

The venue itself was beautiful. They did a phenomenal job in setting up the room. The downside would be that we had about 20 people not show up which brought us below our minimum. DiNolfo's wouldn't let us take the food home that we PAID for already. I felt like we were not getting our money's worth in that sense. Overall, I was very pleased with my wedding night.
