Never did we think to have an affordable beautiful wedding in Miami, but Adriana Rader and her assistant Ayleen proved otherwise!Adriana took her time with us to go over in detail all the specifics of having our wedding at The Doubletree. The venue speaks for itself with a ceremony terrace on the second floor and a beautifully updated ballroom adjacent.Adriana and Ayleen were always prompt with follow up and there were never any communication issues. Both of them were very patient with the multitude of questions we had. The vendors they recommended, i.e. DJ and party designers, only enhanced the overall experience.As we went through the process, I kept saying, 'this is too good to be true' and that phrase held true to the very end of our wedding event.Even in Adriana's absence, Ayleen was right there to fill in the gaps.Our guests started raving about the event, the night of our wedding and the days followed. The food and service were superb. Liz who was our wedding liasion the night of the event was calm, cool, and collected and guided us most appropriately throughout the night!We highly recommend The Doubletree Hilton Grand Hotel Biscayne Bay!

I can not recommend this venue enough! We celebrated our wedding on September 16, 2023 and it couldn't have been more perfect!! Adriana and Ayleen were always so helpful. They would answer any questions or concerns instantly. They food was great! Lis was there on the day of our event making sure we had everything we needed in regards to the reception and getting ready. After working with many vendors the staff here exceeded our expectations. During our wedding, we had our own individual waiters. As soon as we arrived at our reception they provided us with appetizers and drinks. After entering they would constantly make sure my husband and I were taken care of. They provided us with drinks and their services all night! When I was changing my shoes, even one of the girls asked if I needed assistance. For past events we have worked with different venues, and have never received the service we received at the Double Tree. They made our dreams come true and made our day extra special.

Adriana and her team were very responsive and made our day a complete dream. The venue is absolutely beautiful. We wanted something covered outdoors with a water view. All of our guests keep telling us how much fun they had at our wedding and what a nice venue it was. We toured many places before making a decision, but nothing compared to this. I can not begin to express how fantastic the service, space, views, and FOOD is at DoubleTree Grand for your wedding day!!! There are not many spaces that have the picturesque water views like the DT Grand does, and the food is absolutely amazing! The planning team on site at the hotel is phenomenal to work with, and Ayleen and Adriana take exceptional care of couples during the planning process! On the night of your event, the staff ensures your event runs smoothly and is just fantastic with service! A huge plus the guests can retreat to their rooms right after. It is one of my favorite locations and I highly recommend this location for your big day!!

They have a beautiful venue with a nice waterfront view of Biscayne Bay. An excellent location for a wedding. They were over the top with their communication skills and planning. Great coordination and timeline for wedding ceremony and reception. Their services were impeccable and timely. It was a pleasure working with them. We had the most amazing time at the Doubletree!! The food was delicious and the staff helped us with everything we needed during the reception. Ms. Rader & Ms. Trindade were absolutely fantastic for wedding coordination! They made sure we had everything we needed leading up to the wedding and they were very accommodating and professional as well. If you're on the fence about booking here, I would would say take the plunge. The venue has unbelievable views, an amazing honeymoon suite, and it's located in a great area overlooking the bay.

We had the most amazing time at the Doubletree!! The food was delicious and the staff helped us with everything we needed during the reception. Ms. Rader & Ms. Trindade were absolutely fantastic for wedding coordination! They made sure we had everything we needed leading up to the wedding and they were very accommodating and professional as well. If you're on the fence about booking here, I would would say take the plunge. The venue has unbelievable views, an amazing honeymoon suite, and it's located in a great area overlooking the bay.

THE BEST WORKING TEAM EVER!!! If you are looking for a place to have your wedding or any celebration really this is it! Adriana will work with you from day 1, she will bend over backwards during and the day of to make sure she can provide you your dream event. The day of the banquet manager (amazing) will take over and he knows what he is doing! The entire staff from the cleaning crew, to servers, waiters, assistant have this down pact and it all runs smoothly!The food was delicious (I am picky)! We added the cookies and milk for 11 pm and that was a huge hit! Cocktail hour on the terrace facing the water was the perfect beginning. Drinks and servers came with appetizers all tasty and high quality. we added the cubanitos and the arepas as an extra. We are so grateful for the entire staff that made this the best experience we have had. THANK YOU a million times.

My wedding was a dream wedding and all because of this hotel. Planning was super smooth and easy. They take care of everything and they can add all the details you want. My wedding was American and Venezuelan and they made everything for us. They included tequenos and arepas that, in a venezuelan wedding, those cannot be missed. Food was INCREDIBLE, service impeccable and Adriana went far and beyond for us to make the day and process super easy and incredible. Also, THE VIEW. let me tell you.... it is the best view in Miami and I had that in all my wedding pictures!!! venue is also not expensive for the amount of beautiful details. The hotel is also perfect. It has little stores and restaurants inside the hotel that makes your  stay perfect. I could have not asked for a better venue, a better coordinator (Adriana). I want to marry again and I would do it in the Doubletree grand hotel by Hilton with my eyes closed.

I would highly recommend this venue for many reasons!! The food was exceptional - we had the filet mignon and you can almost cut it with the fork. The Mahi Mahi, which was our second option and flavorful and delisous. The staff was extremely accommodating and professional and the location, with the view of the bay, was beautiful. Please consider for your next venue!!

She was very professional and patient over the phone at all times. We visited the Venue 2 days before the wedding, Adriana walked us through everything, and even allowed us to make some changes. We met the other team member who would be by our side for the reception, and he was outstanding. When we arrived on our wedding day, he was right there. The whole staff was wonderful! Let’s talk about the set-up and the view, breathe taking!! Our package came with a room where the view was amazing (let’s not mention they brought a bottle of champagne in there to surprise us). I could go on and on….please book with them. Adriana Rader and her crew will definitely take care of you. This was definitely a dream of mine, everything came true!!!!!! Book book book with them!

I cannot say enough about the Doubletree events and its leading lady Adriana Rader. She went above and beyond every step of the way. Between my insane allergies, the Coronavirus pandemic, and all the normal changes that go along with a wedding, I couldn't have asked for a better Manager. Little things always go wrong on your wedding day, and she fixed them all in the blink of an eye. On top of all that, the Doubletree really gives you great bang for your buck. My event was elegant and beautiful, which is saying a lot on a teacher's salary. To top it all off, the view was everything we could have asked for. If I were to do it all over again, I would still pick the Doubletree.

OMG!!! This is a perfect location for your event/wedding. Adriana Rader, catering manager and Laura Delgado, sales manager, could not be more helpful. They walked me through every step of my event and then some. The venue is beautiful and the food was excellent. I especially loved the beef wellington appetizer. I don't think I will have an event at any other place!

Our wedding at the Doubletree of Biscayne Bay was a dream come true! The wedding package included so many wonderful things - my favorite being a bridal suite with a spectacular view of the bay (which also included a complimentary stay the night of the wedding, strawberries and champagne, and free breakfast the morning after!) The food at the reception was phenomenal. Even the hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour we’re spectacular! The service was impeccable. And the view that our guests had of the bay during the entire night was such a plus! I can’t thank Adriana Rader enough for making our wedding weekend a dream come true. She helped and guided us through the entire planning process, even with us being in another state. She answered all of our questions, listened to our concerns, and responds to emails/calls promptly. Wedding planning can be stressful, but we were so lucky to plan our big day with her! She is very patient and so kind. We are so happy with the entire experience that we plan to host more special events with them! 5/5 stars and I cannot recommend them enough!

Our wedding at the Doubletree of Biscayne Bay was a dream come true! My wedding was a dream come true and definitely choosing Double Tree By Hilton Grand Hotel Biscayne Bay was the best decision. The organization they have is amazing, they are so helpful and make all the adjustments necessary to make your day as you wish. The food was incredible, the serving size was great! The amount of appetaizers they served during the cocktail hour is amazing and they also offer exceptional liquor. Of course the ballroom is beautiful and the view is SO pretty. Unfortunately, the day of my wedding rained, however, it is Miami so they are very well prepared. They have a roof and it really didn’t affect the wedding at all. 100% recommended! The catering manager is the best, she is so nice and sweet. I couldn’t be happier with my decision! :)

I can’t say enough positive things about this venue. First off, the people. The main contact point is Adriana, who is the sweetest and most organized person. She had sample photos of everything, and was on top of everything venue related. She also gives you a list of preferred vendors who are all also amazing, who have worked with her and the hotel for years. So everything is pretty seamless. We didn’t have any vendor issues at all. The sales team at the Hilton is also fantastic and helps you with anything hotel related (room block/reservations etc). Day of, there’s someone on site who’s basically like a day of coordinator, there to make sure everything runs smoothly. Shout out to Sebastian, our awesome day of banquet manager for coordinating everything!! We also had to reschedule due to covid. I thought venue would be the hardest but Adriana handled it all in pretty much under 15 min while at the same time being so incredibly kind to us. We had friends whose venues were not quite so understanding with date changes/deposits/price per plate etc. Even the sales team helped us move our room block to the next year. As for the space itself, it’s beautiful. You have a view of the bay at sunset. If it rains, it’s no big deal, they just put down the coverings. It can get a bit loud because it’s over the marina and next to a busy restaurant, but the music mostly covers that. Everyone had a great time! And loved staying at the hotel because of its great location (and proximity to MIA). Totally recommend!!!

The views from the ballroom are fantastic but for me the kindness of the staff really made it so special. Chef German and his maître d' really made me feel cared for. Such a beautiful venue to celebrate our daughter’s wedding, 7/3/21. Although there are many venues available in Miami, we are so happy we chose Double Tree Grand Key Biscayne. From the first moment we began looking at venues and then planning the wedding, Adriana Rader (Catering Manager), was a top notch professional. She stuck with us through three rescheduled dates due to COVID. This was much appreciated as we were largely planning from out of state. She answered every question promptly and was always knowledgeable, sweet and kind. She had wonderful suggestions and recommended many outstanding vendors such as florist and bakery. She coordinated the entire flow of vendors and events. She was present during the entire set up through takedown to make sure everything ran smoothly. She is absolutely the BEST! The staffs service for our wedding was incredible they and Adriana - the catering manager, went above and beyond for everything to go smoothly and perfectly for our wedding. Adriana and her staff even helped my mother and I when we were struggling on attaching my wedding dress train to the buttons and loops in the back. I am forever so grateful for their help so I could feel more comfortable walking around and enjoy the reception. The cake was delicious! We had so many compliments and it was one of the vendors that was part of the venue package - Sweet Art by Lucila. The main entrees and salad were delicious! Me and my husband were dying waiting for our wedding just to try the delicious food again. The open bar was stocked with a great selection of bottles the d’oeuvres were fantastic!! We could not be told that enough by all our family and friends.

I couldn't have picked a better venue for my wedding day. It was very elegant and timeless with beautiful views of Biscayne bay. I loved that I was able to have the getting ready, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all in one place. That was a big selling point for me. It was super convenient that my bridal party was able to get ready within a few steps of the venue. Adriana Rader the catering manager was very attentive and responsive to all our needs. The vendors that she recommended that were included in the wedding package were great and I was very happy with how the day turned out.

We got married at the DoubleTree by Hilton Grand in March 14, 2020.From the beginning, the team there (especially Adriana) was amazing every step of the way. From the initial meeting, to the food tasting (my new husband’s favorite part!) to the actual wedding. They really delivered an exceptional service and were always on hand with any questions or concerns we had throughout the planning stage.It wouldn’t be a wedding without a few hiccups and glitches. Like I mentioned previously, we got married on 3/14 of this year. The day before our wedding, there was so much talk of event cancellations and the city (and practically the country) shutting down. Adriana did an extremely great job of keeping me calm and assuring me that our wedding was going to go on.Long story short: the wedding was the wedding of my dreams and I have the team to thank for that. The food was amazing, the timing and care they took was exceptional and really, the most important, the way they treated my family and I was something I will never forget. The bridal suite provided was also a highlight and they surprised us with some goodies.I highly recommend them.

My guest loved the food and drinks, I’m picky with my food and drinks but this was definitely very good food. My room was beautiful and everyone catered to us. The Doubletree was the perfect venue for our wedding! We received so many compliments on how delicious the food was and how amazing the bartenders were. We are so grateful that the day went by so smoothly. Working with Adriana was such an ease. She was so attentive and responsive to all our questions and our needs. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone getting married!

his was the perfect venue for my daughter's wedding. Everything and everyone was so professional--such attention to detail. Working with Adriana made everything so easy. The food was delicious!! The incredible view from the patio and ballroom are second to none. The hotel staff was organized, professional, and responsive. The bell captains made it so easy for transporting things for a destination wedding.

Having our wedding at DoubleTree was a great decision. The more we thought about it, the more satisfied we got. It has a very good location with very nice views of Biscayne Bay. But their biggest strength is having Adriana, a living example of what being kind and hospitable means. Planning a wedding can get pretty overwhelming, but she made the whole process much easier. I contacted her frequently during the months prior to the wedding and she always had the answer in less than a day. I really enjoyed the catering service, as well. All options were so delicious that was hard to pick one. During our reception, everything went as smoothly as possible, the waiters and waitresses were extremely professional and polite. It’s been just 2 days since we celebrated at the DoubleTree by Hilton Grand Hotel Biscayne Bay and we are trying to make an excuse to do it again! Not only that the venue location is a privilege one, with breathtaking views of beautiful Biscayne Bay and Miami Beach in the background, is also that you will count with an amazing team of experienced people with Ms Adriana Rader, Senior Event Manager at the head of it. We look at different places, some really beautiful, but you can beat all this place offers for such an amazing price. After a couple conversations I realized that letting them do their part was ok, I just needed to do mine, and it was fun! They reply almost immediately to every email and phone call, answer every question and cater to all our requests. The list of vendors they offered is on point, we use them all except the DJ (we used @soundcrashersc ) The day of the party, Michelle the event manager follow the timeline impeccably. The person in charge of the ballroom rearranged the cake table and some of the seats just minutes before the party, they set up the tables beautifully together with Beatriz from A Blooming Touch. And the food! The chef did such an amazing job our guests are still talking about it! Special mention to the bartender, pleasant and willing to custom the mixes, he actually pulled all the Mojitos from scratch even grinding the mint individually in each glass!!We were able to enjoy the party worry free and at the end we were welcome with champagne and chocolate cover strawberries in the most beautiful suite (included in the package) All in all I highly recommend this venue. And hope to celebrate again there soon!

Adrianna & her whole team we’re exceptionally wonderful, patient, helpful & kind. I don’t have enough positive words to write about them. My wedding day started off stressful before i even got to the venue, however the minute i stepped foot in the hotel, they were extremely accommodating and made me feel at ease. The food was absolutely everything. I wish i could have taken some home. The staff, the food and the willingness to make sure our day went smoothly is something my husband and i will never forget. I honestly just want to come back so the chef can whip me up a good meal LOL. The space was very open and spacious but it also felt intimate at the same time. (Our Party was about 80-85 people). We had an AMAZING experience making our wedding at the DoubleTree. I am very grateful to everyone on the team for giving us a wonderful time. I did not hire a wedding planner, my sister, being my maid of honor, helped me a lot. Together with my parents, we found the DoubleTree, we had our first talk to Adriana, the senior catering manager, and it just felt right, she is very organized and loves to keep on track with details, and trust me, you need someone who takes care of details because there is so much to do the day of the wedding that you get lost. She made space in her agenda to show the ballroom to my fiance, which was the last step to say yes to the venue.Adriana is very kind and would help you as long as she can. My husband to be and I decided to change the menu and added a dessert table last minute, Adriana always listened to our requests and never gave us a no as an answer, she spoke to the chef and suddenly everything was approved. Later on, we met Michelle who was going to be the catering manager on the day of the wedding, her punctuality and professionalism were incredible, she also had a smile on her face all the time, inspiring confidence, so you feel relieved of any chaos. We hired a decoration company outside their suggested vendors and Adriana and her team got along with them with no problem.Let me tell you! Everything was stunning! Once, we entered the ballroom we were surprised, the dessert table was gorgeous and the taste was amazing. The cocktail area was beautiful, nobody complained about not having the change to try the appetizers or drinks before dinner. Dinner was delicious and the different kinds of cocktails and drinks surprised our guests. The cake was made by Todo Dulces, one of their vendor, I LOVED IT. Our guests were very excited and satisfied.On the day of the wedding, we got lucky to be served by Luis Felipe, he is such a sweetheart plus he took care of us so amazing, always making sure we ate and drank water or cocktails before anyone else, our glasses were never empty. He treated us like royalty, I couldn't stop thanking him.Also, if you are having family coming out of state like us or a destination wedding, Jessica would be more than glad to help you, she even helped me to reserve the suite for the night before the wedding to get ready with my bridesmaids in the early morning, and if you don't want to book a room, don't worry! They give you a Hair & Makeup Bridal room.They also give you a suite for the night of the wedding and set champagne and strawberries with chocolate for your new hubby and you. The process was not as stressful as I thought it was going to be, the team at the DoubleTree make it pretty easy, whether you have a wedding planner or not, they would be very happy to help you. I just remember feeling glad and grateful for choosing the DoubleTree, I still feel that way. I would highly recommend them, not just for weddings but for any other events you would like to celebrate. Dear Future Brides, Give it a try! You won't pick wrong. Thank you DoubleTree for being part of our beautiful day.

Excellent service by Adriana from day 1 until 3 months post wedding! If you're not sure where to book, look no further, this is the best in Miami! Best food, best location (you can't beat that sunset over the bay), amazing service and I'm talking about above and beyond! The cake options are from Miami's very best cake makers! Adriana showed us the location as many times as we needed prior to booking till I was satisfied, went over every detail of the contract without hesitation, was responsive to answer every question any given day throughout all of our planning EVEN when she was off work. I never once felt unattended by her. She was tremendous help with layout accommodating every request. The tasting was exquisite the VERY BEST food I've tried at a wedding! We opted for the filet mignon & french chicken as the two offerings and the fondant cake from Divine Delicacies. Chivari chairs were included which were perfect and elegant, lots of fantastic linen colors to choose from. The cheese table was so delicious that it quickly disappeared bc our guests loved it so much I have no pictures to prove it existed but it was fabulous, the hors d'oeuvres were so amazing my guests can't stop speaking about it. Drinks were also FABULOUS the bars wouldn't stop flowing with alcohol! Nothing broke everything was in order beautiful and done in a timely manner, exquisite. The ballroom looked perfect and my guests had such a wonderful time that they're asking me when the next party will be. As far as us as a couple, Adriana had our fave drinks ready upon arrival and a selection of all hors d'oeuvres for us to try prior to opening the ballroom for our guests. The room included was a beautiful left corner on the 7th floor, spacious, comfortable, and a bottle of champagne and strawberries with a loving note from Adriana was left for us. We received Hilton Honors points for our event as well and for the rooms we booked for our families. All my vendors had a pleasant experience with the hotel. Any small discrepancy or question throughout the year I spent planning or day of the event was dealt with the upmost professionalism and solved in an efficient manner. I will certainly highly recommend The DoubleTree Grand Hotel Biscayne Bay and most importantly Adriana Rader as the very best location for a wedding reception in Miami. They give you the best value for your money and their customer service, quality of food, beauty of venue, quality of service by every waiter and person in this team is 100% 5 stars. I would choose them over and over again! It was a pleasure doing business here! I look forward to referring others so that they can enjoy this great venue too! Forever thankful! Mercedes, Adriana's assistant, was also fantastic, as well as Rosa, who did all the room blocks. I highly recommend booking your wedding at this venue, you truly won't regret it. Everything went so smoothly, the food and beverages were great, and the entire set-up was beautiful. She came to the rehearsal to make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it to be and was there through the whole wedding and breakfast. Everyone loved the outdoor area and the view was beautiful. We searched many venues until we found the DoubleTree Grand in Miami, FL.To say that Adriana Radar was amazing at what she did for us is a monumental understatement. She was with us every step of the way - Yes, I mean EVERY STEP! From the time that we met with her 6 months prior to the actual wedding day, she was there making sure that all the details were met and over exceeded our expectation. I can now understand why and how they have been #1 according to the KNOT .Thank you Adriana and the DoubleTree for making the process so seamless for us and going above and beyond. My husband and I got married about a month ago at the DoubleTree by Hilton Grand Hotel Biscayne Bay and we were absolutely blown away. Everything was absolutely spectacular - from the staff to the ambiance to the food! We live in California and had to plan many things via email and telephone. Adriana Rader was wonderful to work with. She was super helpful and very accommodating since we did not live there locally. The food was so delicious (and I'm not just saying that because it was my wedding) - it was very flavorful and was served warm. The staff was VERY attentive and helpful. Adriana and the rest of the team were a pleasure and delight to work with - they made our day that more memorable and enjoyable! We would do it all over again!

Beautiful venue, best view of the bay in Miami. Adriana and her team were very attentive and professional throughout the process, giving tips and going beyond expectations to attend our needs. The Chef and dining menu was excellent, overall the wedding package provided is at a great value. This would have been a 5-star experience if it weren't for the terrible experience we had post-wedding party, due the hotel's overall bad management & maintenance of hotel rooms. We arrived at our room after our wedding party and we had all our things there already from their in the day. We saw that the AC was not working well and there was water leaking from the ceiling the bathroom creating flooding and unsafe environment. We grabbed all our luggages, I was still in my wedding dress and the only room available was in the Condo section. After we settled down in this new room in the Condo, we found the carpet to be very old and my now husband had really bad allergies to it and nose clogged up- we couldn't stay in that room.Then, we had to go downstairs AGAIN and switch rooms for a third time. This one was not a suite, much smaller standard Queen bedroom for our Wedding night.To top it off we ordered breakfast the next morning at 9am and called several times to complain until it finally arrived almost at noon. There were misunderstandings due to us moving in the middle of the night and had several people knock on our door asking us to check out since room appeared vacant in the system. It is definitely was not the way we planned to end our wedding night and we were looking forward to spending it in the Corner suite - which we finally got as our 4th room on the following day. As you can imagine, moving four times in between two days was a big headache especially with the amount of luggage and things we had from the wedding. We also experienced a lot of delay in ordering room service during getting ready at the Key Largo room and had to complain several times for the breakfast and lunch to arrive as we were on a schedule- both took almost 2 hours to arrive. It is a shame that the Wedding Planning team & service is 5 stars, but overall hotel Service/Accommodations is 1 star!Hence, my overall review for this venue for a Wedding is 3, due to all the trouble we had with the rooms and food service.

Words cannot explain how satisfied we are. Adriana, is a wonderful person. She made the planning process that much easier. My husband and I are from Miami but we had just moved to DC while in the middle of planning our wedding. I contacted the hotel and spoke with Adriana and she made my wedding happen exactly how it was planned. Being far did not make a difference because of how efficient she is and everyone in her team. From planning, to the food, drinks in fact everything. I did not have a wedding planner and I definitely did not need one because with Adriana and the reat of the team your wedding will be perfect. Not just us but our guests kept saying our wedding was one to remember. We are beyond happy and cannot wait for our pictures and video. We could not have done it without this great team.

I fell in love with this venue the minute I visited it. It has one of the most beautiful views in Miami and our guests loved having access to that terrace all night. We had our wedding at the DoubleTree By Hilton Grand Hotel Biscayne Bay on March 10, 2018. The staff was amazing and accommodated our every need - even our request to bring our dog to the ceremony! Every single detail was taken care of by the Senior Catering Sales Manager, Adriana Rader, and her wonderful staff. I truly felt so at peace the day of the wedding as every detail had been taken care of beforehand. My guests were so impressed with the venue, coordination, staff, and food. The food for the wedding was amazing and kept receiving compliments even weeks after. Do not hesitate to book this venue!

We had our wedding at the DoubleTree Grand Biscayne Bay in December From the moment we walked in to visit the venue, we had a good “vibe” that this was going to be the place. The venue is beautiful and the event coordination team is beyond wonderful to work with. Adriana Rader and her team did an amazing job in communicating, working with us, coordinating our set up, working with vendors, and walking us through all that we needed to know to have such a beautiful wedding. Adriana was responsive to phone calls and emails, site visits, and quick to find answers and solutions to any and every question and request. She was a real pleasure to work with as she took the pressure off of me, the bride, and helped to implement the vision we had created for our special day. Adriana also worked very closely with her assistant, Ashley, who was able to step in and support seamlessly, as needed. The team is really stellar and they work so well together.The chef was on point and was also able to create a menu that was not only diverse and presented well but also absolutely delicious. The feedback we received from our guests was that the wedding was beautiful and in particular, the food was spectacular. We agreed as we enjoyed the day and our day was as perfect as can be. There’s honestly not a single thing we would change. I highly recommend this venue and this team to help bring your wedding dreams to reality. You will not be disappointed.

The DoubleTree Grand Hotel is a perfect location for those looking for the ocean view wedding, without risking a Miami weather day ruining it. I've been using the DTG for many years to host other events, and when it came time for planning my own wedding, I didn't hesitate or look elsewhere. I knew that was the place for me!They offer a ballroom that's perfect for a small wedding, but can also accomodate a large party. With stunning views of the bay and Miami Beach, it's definitely a romantic and memorable place to host a wedding. The staff is AMAZING! Adriana and her team are one in a million! Banquet Manager Freddy is a dream to work with. They aim to please and definitely pass that mark. They are knowledgeable and help guide you in the right direction, always making sure that all your needs are met.The food is INCREDIBLE! We offered a French Chicken or Filet Mingon option to our guests, thoughtheir menu has a lot of other plates to choose from. Our guests did not stop raving about the food. The cocktails were spot on and the bartenders made a mean mojito! I always reccommend the DoubleTree Grand, Adriana and her team, and their vendors to everyone who asks me for guidance. They have never let me down and my wedding was even better than I couldn have imagined and they made that a reality.

My husband and I could not be happier with the DoubleTree Biscayne Bay! For starters, the location was beautiful, overlooking the bay. We live Out of State and everyone made it extremely easy to coordinate. They were very fast to answer ALL of our questions, and really went out of their way to help us pull everything together. Our wedding turned out exactly the way that we envisioned it, and we could not have picked a better venue!

We live Out of State and everyone made it extremely easy to coordinate. They were very fast to answer ALL of our questions, and really went out of their way to help us pull everything together. Our wedding turned out exactly the way that we envisioned it, and we could not have picked a better venue!

This was the first venue we visited when we went searching for our wedding venue. Every venue after that we continuously kept comparing to this location and none seemed to match up in comparison. First off we were dead set on having a view and being able to have some outside aspects to our wedding the DT offers exactly that thanks to their ocean view terrace which the view is breathtaking. We also opted out of having our ceremony at a church and had our ceremony on the outside terrace. BEST IDEA EVER! We did very little decorating (chairs, runner, 2 column with a floral arrangement on each, and a simple alter with 2 floral arrangements at the corners) and it looked amazing thanks to the backdrop. Adriana the catering manager is AMAZING!!! and soooooo patient! I know I continuously emailed back and forth with her for the year and a half and she answered all my questions and was so easy to work with. That is the exact person you need when planning something so hectic she is amazing at what she does! The food is unbelievable!!!! All my guests have not stopped raving about the food (filet mignon and salmon were our meal choices). I am not a meat eater and I have never loved a dish more than I did there. The chef is on another level the food was at the perfect temperature when it got to the table, the presentation was perfect and of course the taste was perfect. We also upgraded to have caprese salads. My husband who does not like tomatoes loved the salad! We also added late night bites (angus burgers, milk and cookies, and mini cuban sandwiches) they literally went flying our guests loved them all. The milk and cookies was by far the favorite since the DT is known for their amazing cookies (try them and you won't regret it - they are delicious we had guests taking 4-5). The open bar was amazing I did not get one single complaint about the drinks being too strong too weak or tasting bad. We made signature drinks and they were delicious, shots were also a part of the open bar which our guests really enjoyed. Another amazing thing was the service at the DT. We are speechless everyone we encountered was so pleasant and strived to please us as much as possible. One big plus is that right after the ceremony they make sure to have a waiter or waitress with a platter of appetizers waiting for you once you are done with the ceremony and while you take pictures. One waiter named Luis who I am guessing is the head waiter (and if he is not he should be) was amazing!!! He was so sweet and took the time to get to know us. We met him at our food tasting and we loved him we were so excited to see that Luis would be a part of our wedding to serve not only us but out guests! Once again, another member of the DT was great! The only negative to mention was the valet, if you are not aware the valet service is not part of the hotel but a third party so it is not the DT's fault but I think they should DEFINITELY consider a new company. Their current company is pretty bad. They gave me a hard time when it came to validating parking and for the free parking for the BRIDE AND GROOM for the rehearsal (seriously?!?!?!). They were rude, dismissive, argumentative, its their way or no way. I argued with them on the night of the rehearsal and the day after the wedding. I had to go back to the lobby to get the hotel to deal with them. Luckily, my guests didn't tell me they had issues.

Their current company is pretty bad. They gave me a hard time when it came to validating parking and for the free parking for the BRIDE AND GROOM for the rehearsal (seriously?!?!?!). They were rude, dismissive, argumentative, its their way or no way. I argued with them on the night of the rehearsal and the day after the wedding. I had to go back to the lobby to get the hotel to deal with them. Luckily, my guests didn't tell me they had issues.

Our wedding was 10/7/17, and from the moment we toured the venue, we fell in love. The location is beautiful, right on the water overlooking Biscayne Bay. The ballroom is on the second floor, with great views of Miami, from Downtown to Miami Beach. First off, Adriana Rader, the Banquet Manager was super attentive, accommodating, professional, and prompt with her responses, and made sure that everything leading up to our night would be perfect, and let me tell you it was. We also did the rehearsal dinner there and the food and service was amazing! The night of our wedding, everyone was giving awesome feedback on the great food, the premium open bar, and how breathtaking the room looked. When I tell you I reviewed and compared almost every venue in the Miami area, The DoubleTree Grand Biscayne Bay came out on top, not only for location, amenities, but overall exceptional value. With the 126 guests we had total, it was well worth, and a lot less than other similar hotels and venues in the area. We did the ceremony on the patio and it was spectacular, they even had a back up plan in case of non-ideal weather (this is Miami afterall), but luckily the weather was perfect and the ceremony came out beautifully and accommodated all of our guests. For the reception itself the room looked beautiful and even with 14 tables, never felt cramped. We also booked room blocks with the rooms manager, Jessica Rosario, and she made it easy to ensure our out of town guests got accommodations at a reasonable price. We highly recommend Adriana and her staff at the DoubleTree, from the complimentary room stay for the wedding night, to the complimentary bridal suite that the bride and the bridesmaids got ready in, everything was perfect and I couldn't have asked for a better night!! Pros:Prices:Great price in our book and it allowed us to reduce the amount of vendors we worked with because of everything the package included. Event coordinating:Adriana is so professional and organized. Every time we met, she took notes, asked the right questions, and followed up with any action items. You truly feel like you are the only bride she is working with. Food:We were so worried about how the food would taste, because we did not enjoy the food that we selected for our guest during the food tasting. We told the chef to make the chicken tender, change the sides, and the sauce we wanted for our salad. The day of our wedding, our food was delicious. We received many compliments from our guest. THANK YOU!!!!! Cons:Day of wedding communication: I paid for an extra night to stay in the hotel the night before. Imagine a bride waking up, and not being able to find your coordinator (Adriana) to address the concerns of your vendors. The secretary told us she will not be in until later, so my party and I had to improvise until Adriana arrived at 1 pm. Once she arrived, she solved our problems. Parking: THE ABSOLUTE WORST. Adriana was nowhere to be found to provide the discounted parking vouchers for my vendors who left before 1pm (So we had to paid $30 for the vendors instead of $10). When Adriana arrived, she stated they needed a blue ticket for discounted parking. This was not communicated to us prior to our wedding, and the tickets were not visible for any of our vendors. I thought this issue was fixed, but my other vendor faced the same issue when leaving the venue. Tip: Make an announcement during the reception for the guest to get a discounted ticket for parking and get discounted tickets for your vendors the night before.Directions for our guest: Limited directions and signs were provided to my guest to find our wedding in the hotel. Adriana explained that there was a sign on the reception desk, however, the reception desk is not the first desk you see upon arrival. This hotel really needs to improve on internal communication with other employees. Location for pictures: After the ceremony, they aren’t really nice places to take pictures except for the docking area with all of the boats (crowded with people). Aesthetics of venue: When we saw it in person, we knew we could have done better, but honestly, it is worth the price. It truly depends on your taste. The aesthetics were not on the top of our list.Over priced rooms: Most of our guest stayed here spending 200 a night, but you could definitely find places or venues where you could get a package deal for guest. The room block was 10 dollars off the room and if your guest did not book, you are responsible for paying for their room. Ceremony: We loved our ceremony at this venue because it was on a terrace overseeing the water. However, it is really narrow, and we had a large bridal party, so we were tightly compressed. If you have a large bridal party, it may be best to have them to sit.Rehearsal and food tasting schedule: Wedding rehearsal and food tasting can only be done on Thursdays. However, if no one books the venue on the Friday before your wedding, then Adriana will notify you a week before your wedding. Tip: consider out of town guestOverall, our wedding was the best night of our lives, and would book this venue again if we knew what we knew now.

The Doubletree Biscayne Bay is the ultimate wedding venue in Miami! We had our reception here in January (the ceremony was next door at the Trinity Cathedral) and I'm so happy we choose them! Adriana and her assistant Zaita (and the other gentleman whose name I forgot, so sorry!) all went above and beyond to make sure we had a great event. You can tell they've done so many events because they are consummate professionals. From the very beginning, Adriana and her team were responsive, kind, and helpful. Adriana or Zaita would respond to e-mails within 24 hours (usually sooner) and were always available to meet in person. Adriana, her team, and the head chef were also very accommodating with our requests, including customizing an excellent vegetarian entree (more than just the boring pasta primavera) and including a special order beer in the beverage order. They also provided a secondary conference room to stage items and get ready the day-of and they kept our centerpieces locked in their offices to make sure they would be safe until the event. The night of the event they entire staff was kind, polite, and super prompt. They even ensured that the bride and groom had our own server and plates of hor d'oeuvres available during the cocktail hour. And whoever decorated the tables made them look so beautiful! Just having the linens and table settings alone would be enough. My one complaint (which isn't even a complaint) was that they were a bit too quick to clean up drinks from the table. The food was DELICIOUS (seriously, people were impressed) and there was just so darn much of it! No one went hungry that night. My one true complaint is about the woman who handles block rooms in the hotel. She is very unaccommodating and honestly, the rooms are not worth the contract and price. Many of the condos are available on Airbnb MUCH cheaper so I would definitely look into that for your out of town guests. Also, keep in mind that the Food and Beverage minimum that you must guarantee DOES NOT include tax and service charges so you may get a bit of sticker shock when you sign the final papers 3 days before the wedding. Overall, you cannot beat the view, the location, the food, and the service of the Doubletree Biscayne Bay. Adriana runs a tight ship and you won't find any Miami venue as beautiful as the Doubletree for the same price.

I want to thank Adriana Rader and all her team at the Doubletree for the amazing customer service and guidance they gave me while planning my daughter's 15th birthday party. From the beginning that I stepped into the ballroom I knew this was the perfect place for my daughter's special day. The beautiful terrace that overlooks the water and beautiful Miami iconic bridges. The flexibility that even if it rained, the terrace doesn't get wet and you still enjoy the beautiful views is a huge plus. Once you enter the ballroom, I envisioned that perfect day with our family and friends and that is exactly what took place. From the vendors that are preferred on their list and now I know why. The decorations from International Party Designers were top of the line. Our theme was Moroccan and everything from the gorgeous drapery to the lanterns on my daughter's main table, the tablecloths, candles; everything was purely perfect. Another extremely important item is the food. We chose a buffet for the kids and a sit down dinner for the adults. Both, top of the line, truly delicious and everyone was satisfied and impressed with the taste and presentation. Anyone that has ever planned a party of this magnitude knows that when you have people to work with that you trust, support and guide you is the utmost experience while you are in nerves. I will first review the banquet hall, below that is the more important hotel review.Adriana, the banquet hall manager was a pleasure to work with. She explained everything well, was very friendly, and was accommodating to our requests. The staff during the event I was told by the guest were extremely nice, and the food was served promptly, and the lines at the bar were short. The only negative about the banquet hall is a large column that is in the middle that doesn't allow certain tables a good view, but otherwise the balcony with the bay view is nice. That is why it gets a 4 instead of a 5 for me, as well as the hotel experience which I will review below.To begin with the blocking of rooms was annoying, because I had to continuously tell them how many more rooms after the initial 10 rooms I agreed upon my guest need, this made me literally the travel agent. Secondly the double charged my credit card for the valet. The people in the front desk need to be retrained, the service the front desk provided was not even close to the doubletree/hilton quality. They were actively painting and fixing the 8th floor, and they still placed guest in the floor that wrecked of paint. The hallways, multiple times had marijuana throughout, and one of the guest rooms wrecked of marijuana as well. The AC to on the guest room did not work, and it wasn't until the next day they were able to change the room. Then there is the extremely rude and not helpful valet people, that don't allow you to park your car 5 minutes to allow the bell boy to bring down a van full of stuff, without yelling at you.My suggestions: Book the banquet hall at the double tree, it is cheaper and has a nicer view and Adriana is very helpful, but book your rooms next door at the Marriott, they actually know how to run a hotel.

We had our oldest daughter Diana's wedding at the Double Tree HIlton Key Biscayne this past weekend. I must say that it was probably the best wedding I have ever been to. The service that we received was second to none. Adriana Rader and her staff did everything in their power to make sure that the wedding went off without a hitch. To her and her staff, my hats off to you. I would recommend this hotel for group events as long as Adriana is running the show.
