DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago - Alsip is a hotel wedding venue situated in Alsip, IL. Just 22 miles from downtown Chicago, this venue is a convenient and comfortable spot to host your romantic occasion. The hotel is beautifully designed with a rich color palette and furnished with sophisticated décor that elevates every event. You and your guests will enjoy the easy access to Chicago Midway Airport, which is just 20 minutes away, and Lake Katherine Nature Center. Jessica Torres was nothing short of amazing! She was always communicative and pleasant to work with. We had quite a few changes and she made sure all of our questions and concerns were addressed immediately. The venue was also perfect. The space was beautiful and the food was fantastic. She helped us through the whole process giving us recommendations and guidance when we were unsure of things. Then on our actual wedding date she really outdid herself! One of my favorite things were the additional extra touches for the sweetheart table that really surprised us and we hadn’t thought of. The food was delicious, the staff were super professional, and the whole team was just amazing. Can not thank them enough for making our day so special. Thank you!!!

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Ms. Jessica Torres. This was both of our first time getting married, and Ms. Torres and the DoubleTree made the planning super smooth. It was a very organized and streamlined process. There was a lot we didn't know about but Ms. Torres educated us and was very patient, flexible and professional. On top of that, the wedding was a rave. All of our guests were blown away! For the money, you can't beat this venue for a wedding. Great food, beautiful decorations, open bar, classy dinner service, excellent service overall. Just do it, trust me!

I couldn't be happier with the service that the Double Tree Alsip provided, especially during Covid. I've heard some horror stories with Covid brides and weddings- people not getting their money back, dates being selected for them, fine print not allowing this or that, etc. We booked this venue in summer of 2019 after viewing 2 others in the area and were impressed by the down-to-earth and honest personalities of the staff, especially Jessica. Once Covid hit, we worked with Julie, who was extremely compassionate and understanding of the situation and was able to offer as many safe accommodations as possible. My husband and I worked with the DT staff as a team and ended up creating an entirely new plan for our big day. On the actual day of the event, Jessica was there and help and calm any nerves. I had no doubts that everything was taken care of. I highly recommend the Double Tree Alsip to any couple - they truly care about you and your experience.

We were married at the the DoubleTree by Hilton in Alsip 6/8/19. From the initial inquiry to view the space, to the day of our wedding--the entire process was so easy and enjoyable thanks to the one and only, Jessica T! Jessica went above and beyond to make sure our special day, and all the days leading up to it, were perfect. We had our Ceremony and Reception at the venue and everything turned out so much better than we ever could have imagined. There was a bit of a snag on the day of in terms of timing for our off-site photos and ended up taking all of the photos on-site. Thank goodness for that snag, because our photos turned out AMAZING. Our photographer found this area along the back of the hotel with gorgeous greenery that we used for a backdrop in some of our 1 on 1 photos which turned out magical. We also used the brick wall in the patio area which was perfect for all of our group pics and additional 1 on 1's. Overall, it was a pleasure and honor working with Jessica and the DoubleTree team and will be forever grateful for the memories they helped us to create. THANKS AGAIN!!!

We really lucked out with Clare from the DoubleTree. Every single step of the way she made sure (and then double-checked) that we were getting everything that we needed. At no point did we feel like we were forgotten or cast aside, because she was in thorough contact with us at every milestone. We were impressed with Clare's personal and professional courtesy, especially considering that friends of ours who booked their weddings with far more expensive venues did not have nearly the level of attention that we did from her. The location was an initial attraction for us, with easy access to and from I-294, and since the Doubletree is also a hotel, we were able to get our guests a block-rate if they wanted to stay in the hotel the night of the wedding. The food was excellent. We heard a lot of raving about the beef brisket with caramelized onions. The venue also made sure that everyone with a food allergy or dietary restriction had a personalized plate as well, which really meant a lot to us, considering that my wife is vegan. The staff knew our names on the night of the reception. Not just Clare, but the wait staff, too. Everyone was very kind and pleasant. They were able to accommodate us not only for the reception but for the ceremony too. They set up a lovely backdrop with striking uplighting, and allowed us to bring our own arch. I can't say enough about how beautiful the room looked. We used the chivari chairs, with midnight blue table cloths and champagne runners, which we knew would look great but exceeded our expectations. And all of this at a price point that was reasonable and affordable. We really feel like we got way more than we paid for and if we got to relive the whole process over again, we would choose this venue again, no doubt, for sure. We'd recommend working with Clare and the Doubletree to anyone.

One of the best things about this venue was the Wedding Coordinator, Clare. From the moment we started considering the DoubleTree to the wedding itself, she went out of her way to make every step of the process easy on us. We dealt with her and only her the entire time, which I liked, and she was professional, pleasant, patient, and generally wonderful to work with. The hotel ballroom itself doesn't initially present itself as an elegant space (they are multipurpose spaces, after all) but on the night of, with the linens and decor and lighting all in place, it was beautiful, just like I pictured. The food was really good (we actually had a really hard time at the tasting because we liked everything we tasted!) and we got several guest compliments on it. The package included the cake - one less thing to worry about separately! - and our one single miscommunication occurred here, about the color of the flowers on the cake. They were still beautiful, and I was bothered for about a second until I thought that if the only mistake that got made the whole night was cake flowers, I could accept that. (We did not actually get to speak to the bakery directly, we went through Clare, so in that area I would say make sure to be very specific on what you want, if you want something very specific.) The price seemed pricey, but the basic package includes a lot, and we did have the ceremony in a separate room (for which they price matched another venue we were looking at, so that was nice) and of course we added extras. All in all, our experience here was great and I would recommend it.

We had Clare Palumbo as our wedding consultant and she was absolutely fantastic! She was extremely organized and made the process a breeze. They were very accommodating with everything, and the service was fantastic through the whole process. The night of the wedding the wait staff was great and very kind. The food was great too, and everything ran smoothly! The only complaint I have is that the complimentary shuttle we booked to take us to our picture location showed up 45 minutes late. This caused us some major rushing and was extremely disappointing. It was purely the driver's fault, and none of the other staff. When I brought this issue to their attention after the wedding, they made it right and offered us a free nights stay. Overall we had a great experience there, and would highly recommend it as a venue!

We arranged for a block of rooms at the Doubletree for our wedding guests. Our wedding was not at the hotel, so I initially was concerned that we would not be a top priority. But Luanne and Mitch in customer service were so helpful. We were able to hold a number of rooms without any money down, a huge help during wedding planning. We arranged for a block of rooms at the Doubletree for our wedding guests. Our wedding was not at the hotel, so I initially was concerned that we would not be a top priority. But Luanne and Mitch in customer service were so helpful. We were able to hold a number of rooms without any money down, a huge help during wedding planning. The DoubleTree made our dream wedding come true. We worked with Clare and she helped make sure everything was perfect. All the planning was so easy to do because she was easy to work with and we could always get ahold of her if we had any questions. We had our ceremony and reception here and both were perfect. The patio for our reception space was gorgeous as well as the ceremony space. It was all exactly how we imaged. Clare was there through the night making sure everything was how we wanted it and if not she went to fix the issue right away. I would recommend the doubletree to anyone planning a wedding. From start to finish the process of planning our reception at the Double Tree was painless. The food was excellent! I was hearing about it for days from all of our guests. Everyone kept saying how beautiful the room looked even though we went with minimal decor to save money. We chose to use the hotel's center pieces which provided very romantic mood lighting. The staff was very attentive throughout the evening.The bonus was getting a complimentary stay the night at the hotel after the reception and complimentary breakfast the morning after. The night was a blur but when I think back on it, I wouldn't have done anything different. I'm very happy that we chose to have our reception here.

The Doubletree Alsip was the perfect venue for us! Noelle, the Events Manager, was phenominal to work with. She was very professional, creative and accomodating. We picked a date that enabled us to have the entire venue for our wedding. There was not one issue on the day of the wedding. Every single detail that we'd planned was executed flawlessly. I had multiple people comment about the friendly and professional staff. One of my aunts who travels a ton for work even wrote a letter to Hilton commending the service saying it was the best that she's ever received. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere fit our theme and the bar at the hotel stayed open well after our reception ended which allowed the party to continue. Their prices are very fair and competitive. We were able to have a special room rate for our guests, many of whom stayed because of the great pricing. The hotel was recently remodeled and was very clean. We had brunch the next morning with our guests at the restaurant and that was equally as impressive. I cannot say enough about the Doubletree and Noelle.

I looked at 5 different venues in the Southwest Chicago Suburbs for my reception. The Doubletree blew the all away. \rI could wax poetic for pages about the food, the excellent price, the food, the fact that the bar package and cake is included in the price per plate, and how cozy the grand ballroom can seem even with almost 300 people in it (this is a good thing, it didn't feel like I was sitting miles away from the back tables). \rHowever, the number one draw of Chicago-Alsip is 100% the staff and service. Noelle, the events manager is a darling. She is 100% on the ball and her staff does not miss a beat. \rAt our reception everyone kept commenting on how relaxed we were. I am particularly known for FREAKING OUT around big events. The reason we could be so relaxed was simple, everything was being handled flawlessly. \rI plan to book every event I can come up with here. \rAlso, the location is perfect for out of town guests! Right off I-294 makes for easy in and out.

The Doubletree blew the all away. \rI could wax poetic for pages about the food, the excellent price, the food, the fact that the bar package and cake is included in the price per plate, and how cozy the grand ballroom can seem even with almost 300 people in it (this is a good thing, it didn't feel like I was sitting miles away from the back tables). \rHowever, the number one draw of Chicago-Alsip is 100% the staff and service. Noelle, the events manager is a darling. She is 100% on the ball and her staff does not miss a beat. \rAt our reception everyone kept commenting on how relaxed we were. I am particularly known for FREAKING OUT around big events. The reason we could be so relaxed was simple, everything was being handled flawlessly. \rI plan to book every event I can come up with here. \rAlso, the location is perfect for out of town guests! Right off I-294 makes for easy in and out.

This is by far the best deal that you will find when it comes to Weddings and/or Reception packages! It's possible to have everything included from your ceremony, cake, food, drinks, decor, etc! It's a one stop-shop! Noelle is absolutely phenomenal!!!! The sweetest, most easy-going, accommodating person I've probably ever met! She made sure we were satisfied with every aspect of planning all the way up through the actual Reception itself! Whenever a question would pop up, either myself or the groom would call or email Noelle and get a response almost immediately! She is truly outstanding and made the whole process completely painless! She truly understands that planning a wedding is stressful enough! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE DOUBLETREE - ALSIP! The staff was wonderful (with the exception of one moody bartender)! My guests were overjoyed and blown away by the room's layout and decor! I designed my own centerpieces and Noelle set them up exactly as I dreamed! The room was breath-taking! Noelle is a superstar! She even stayed until dinner service to ensure that everything ran smoothly! What more could you ask for?!
