She helped me through the entire process. The venue was stunning. They went above and beyond. I couldn’t be more satisfied. Everyone was raving about the food! So delicious. Every detail was amazing. Lauren Fery(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-03-2018 The DoubleTree was exactly what we wanted for our wedding venue. With most of our guests coming from out of town, it was important to us to have everyone party and sleep in the same place. We also wanted the hotel to be classy, affordable and have a bar for everyone to hang out together and the DoubleTree had ALL of that for us. The reception room was nice and fairly neutral to add your own look.Really what made this place such a great venue is Kim, the wedding coordinator. She really is their biggest asset. I can't express enough how wonderful she was to work with. She was SO organized and did EVERYTHING she could to accommodate us and I literally did not stress at all during our wedding weekend because she had it ALL under control. I would have loved to give a 5 star review however I couldn't because of the food. The food was just GOOD. No one complained about it, however none of our guests raved about it either. Jennifer Parks(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 07-10-2017 Kim and Sharon just made our wedding without a doubt the most magical day ever. They both went above and beyond! They made sure everything went smoothly and my family didn't have to worry about a thing. So much so that a whole glass of red wine was spilled on my wedding dress, and Sharon and Kim came to the rescue. Not one spot of red was left after ten minutes with them! They care about their guests and I already miss talking to them! The cocktail hour and reception, went without a hitch. The food was perfect and hot! The bartenders and staff were friendly and always attentive. I really can't say enough good things about the whole weekend. I highly recommend the DoubleTree for a wedding or any type of event. I've received so many compliments from the weekend and look forward to working with them again! Reviewed on 14-12-2017
Bernice Garcia(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-08-2016 The DoubleTree by Hilton is a joke and an embarrassment to the Hilton name. Really wish I hadn't picked them for my wedding reception. First off my husband and I chose them, because they told us they were doing renovations that would be completed by December 2015. Even had it in writing well that was a complete lie. By my reception they were still renovating had the main lobby all closed off looked terrible and the \"renovations\" they were making to the ball room never happened. We also kept getting lied to about the renovations and timeline for it etc. Then the bridal suite that was newly renovated was such a disappointment, cabinets were falling off in the bathroom as well as faucets etc. Didn't look like the bridal suite you'd want to spend your wedding night at. The staff was arguing during my reception while taking our guests plates which I learned about after the fact. Which is so unprofessional and tacky. You should know not to argue at a wedding reception that you're getting paid for. Which they must've been too busy arguing since they never replenished my candy bar that they were supposed to replenish throughout the night. My husband and guests had to do so. Then the hotel replied saying that was the bridesmaids job... umm no we paid for the hotel to cater our reception not our bridesmaids! Also the second I got up from my seat to say hi to some of my guests my plate was gone. Didn't get to eat half of my filet mignon and they took it away. Worst things had to be that some wedding cards went missing. So I have all this money unaccounted for at least $800 that I received and will never know what happened since apparently the hotel doesn't know. The wedding coordinator at the hotel left early didn't even inform us and says she was there until 10:30. Clearly not since no one saw her after 8/8:30 and due to that I had 3 wedding crashers that had to kick out myself. They were making music requests to the dj, using my open bar, live steaming my reception, in the way of my time on the dance floor... Where was the coordinator when this happened? Long gone that's where and the hotel didn't do anything about their random guests at my reception. The fact that I had to personally do it along with my cousin and father is ridiculous! Also the next day I saw hotel staff eating food and cake from the wedding. I don't want to see that! Especially not my cake that should've all gone to me to do as I please! That's not even it when they gave me some of my cake they tried to say they didn't have the top layer. Well when my husband went with a guy from hotel staff surprisingly more of the cake showed up in the fridge he had already said he didn't see any other cake. Even the room keys work intermittently was locked out of my bridal suite with the key in my hand and it wouldn't let me back in the room. I could keep going on and say how the communication with this hotel has been horrible etc but I'd have to make another post for just that aspect. Bottom line don't throw an event at this hotel, they have no respect or professionalism. Save your money and go somewhere else and avoid a headache! Wish my husband and I had known this before!
