Wedding Date 19-10-2019
Used the DoubleTree in Torrance for the hotel block for my guests for my wedding, as well as where I booked the suite for me and my bridesmaids to get ready and for the wedding night. The rooms were all newly renovated and the suite was the size of two rooms. All of my guests had a good time staying here and liked the convenience of having the mall across the street.

They did a nice job for us.. the only downside was the fee for dropping gift bags in rooms.

I had my ceremony in the penthouse and my reception in the crystal ballroom. The venue was perfect and the coordinator, Beverly, went out of her way to make sure all went well. We had family arriving from out of the area and everyone was satisfied with their accommodations. The ballroom transformed into a lovely area for the reception - easily accommodating our large party. The food was excellent and the hotel was easy to work with. I highly recommend this venue, you will be taken expertly taken care of.

They have best room block offers among the hotels around the area. I love their free parking and cookies. The guests can stay at relatively affordable price. Their presidential suite is roomy for getting ready before the wedding and for spending the night after the wedding. The location is nice(ie. near the mall, restaurants, beach, airport, safer neighborhood). The people that work there are friendly.

I had my reception at the Doubletree in Torrance, CA on 2/19/11. Beverly was such a huge help during the whole planning process! She responded quickly to emails, phone calls and was always there if I had a question. She was also able to work on a menu that fit our budget. The ballroom was beautiful and the food was delicious!! We served the Chicken Cognac and everyone loved it!
