Words fail us as we look back on our journey leading to our dream day. We had looked at different venues in Miami but when we walked into DoubleTree Ocean Point Resort North Miami, the beauty of the venue was just breath taking...We were welcomed by a very gracious lady Ms. Florencia Almerares who is the sales manager. Her kindness and attention to detail is amazing. She took us on a tour of the venue taking time to answer our questions. Although we had to postpone our wedding that was supposed to be in July of 2020 due to the pandemic, we never had to worry about a thing. She made sure all our requests of any concerns were addressed. When the big day came she coordinated with all our vendors to ensure our special day was just simply Beautiful! We can never thank you enough for being our peace from booking the venue, providing awesome block rates and working tirelessly with our vendors. Thank you for the Memories! Mr. & Mrs DaSilva

We were scheduled to meet with sales coordinator for weddings on March 24th and this was exactly her words “I check the sunset for next week on the 24th and it is at 7:20 pm. We will doing a wine hour and appetizers for our brides. Will you be able to come after work? We will have time to site inspect the venue. “ and we agreed to meet for that scheduled time and to my surprise when me and my fiancé reached there we were told that she went on a vacation , what an unprofessionallism. If the wedding coordinator itself is not communicative I am pretty sure you can imagine how the wedding would be. One of room coordinators helped us walk through and explained every details , he was really nice and amazing. I think he should be the wedding coordinator

This venue was absolutely amazing in every single way you can imagine. The views were gorgeous, the rooms were clean, the food was exceptional, the staff was professional and very helpful but above all else, the experience was made truly amazing thanks to Florencia Almerares. From day one she was very attentive, even sending me emails with Bride’s in converse since I had mentioned to her in our first meeting that it’s what I wanted to do. She was always available to answer any doubts or questions. She guided us throughout another year in a pandemic. She recommended some amazing vendors. Florencia is a star even helping us in multiple ways on the day of, coming in to work on a Saturday when she really didn’t have to. Beyond Florencia, the hotel itself was a great location for a wedding if you are looking to keep everything in one place. We wanted to keep things simple and so we had the ceremony, cocktail, and reception all in different rooms/areas of the hotel and we are very happy we did. The views in your wedding photos alone will be worth this location.

We had the best experience hosting our wedding here at the Doubletree in Sunny Isles. To start, when you enter the room looking over the ocean, it is just a jaw dropper. From the time we walked in we were treated really good. Everyone wants your experience to be the best. The catering sales manager, Florencia took care of the all the wedding details and made sure everything was on point, answered any and all questions promptly. William, the catering manager made sure our day ran smooth. He was there early and until we finished. His staff was friendly and professional as well. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all there in different rooms. Most of our guests and our entire bridal party stayed at the hotel as well. The rooms were very big, spacious and clean. We met up for breakfast and enjoyed the pool. And can't forget about their delicious cookies. Everything was just perfect and ran smooth. This is the best place to have your wedding or event. We are so happy and pleased.

First of all, my husband Joshua and I are truly grateful to have experienced an unforgettable wedding weekend at the DoubleTree Ocean Point Resort. We knew we wanted to have our destination wedding in Florida but choosing where to have it was a tough decision. After a month of being engaged, we scheduled a tour with Yamille and as soon as we arrived to the property, we knew this would be the perfect place for our wedding. It had all the unique qualities we were looking for to have our ceremony and reception. The Atlantic Room view is what captured our hearts! Once the tour was over, we contacted our wedding planner right away to confirm THIS IS THE PLACE! Every step of the way, Yamille was so flexible in working with us to make sure we had the food and financial aspect in order for the wedding. About 5 months out from the wedding, we even decided to have the rehearsal dinner here as well which worked out in our favor as most of our guests were staying at the hotel. As food is the most important part of any gathering, my husband and I knew after our food tasting that we would be in good hands. Chef Will really has the magic touch and knows how to get down in the kitchen : ) The food was amazing for both the rehearsal and wedding day, our guests are still raving about it. Also, working with Dianna, the hotel reservation coordinator was helpful. She was able to assist with all my questions up until the week of the wedding to make sure our guest reservation process was smooth. The complimentary upgrades were amazing, my husband and I felt like royalty. We would highly recommend this location to anyone that is looking to have their wedding in the Miami area... Great views, great beach, amazing hotel staff and great food! My husband and I had the most perfect weekend here with our family and friends. Everyone is still raving about how great the hotel was and how much fun they had.

Overall a great experience! Yamille was our point of contact as the sales manager for events. She was extremely helpful and went out of her way to ensure everything was as we liked. She was a little hesitant to work with the wedding planner until we assured them that we were all the same page. We had a phenomenal view and our room was upgraded! As well throughout the resort it felt that all the employees knew who we were (as bride and groom) and were constantly congratulated and asked if there was anything that we needed and made themselves readily available.

We celebrated our wedding at The DoubleTree Ocean Point Resort and Spa in Sunny Isles. All I can say is that it was the most amazing experience ever. Since day one that we met with Yamille, she made us feel at home and we knew that we wanted to have our wedding at this beautiful ocean front hotel. Yamille was super attentive and helpful. She was always available to answer questions we may have had. We arrived the day before our big day, and right upon arrival to the hotel we were treated like royalty. I did not have a wedding planner, but with all the help that Yamille gave me, I did feel that i needed a wedding planner. The day of the wedding I had nothing to worry about, for I had Yamille and Erika (the Captain) on top of everything. They made sure that everything went smoothly and that nothing was left out or missing in order to make our special day truly amazing. They truly made us feel special and made sure that we enjoyed our special day. Without a doubt, I truly recommend this venue for any bride that is looking for an amazing place to celebrate her special day and not to mention, the view is truly spectacular. I loved everything about this venue. Hands down, the best attention you will ever receive. Thank you Yamille, Erika, and all of the staff at The Double Tree Ocean Point Resort for making our fairy tale wedding a reality.

Since day one that we met with Yamille, she made us feel at home and we knew that we wanted to have our wedding at this beautiful ocean front hotel. Yamille was super attentive and helpful. She was always available to answer questions we may have had. We arrived the day before our big day, and right upon arrival to the hotel we were treated like royalty. I did not have a wedding planner, but with all the help that Yamille gave me, I did feel that i needed a wedding planner. The day of the wedding I had nothing to worry about, for I had Yamille and Erika (the Captain) on top of everything. They made sure that everything went smoothly and that nothing was left out or missing in order to make our special day truly amazing. I highly recommend the Doubletree by Hilton Ocean Point as a location for your wedding. This was our wedding location on 10-15-2016. From the beginning when working with Yamille until the day we left after the wedding, the staff made us feel like royalty. Unfortunately it rained and was wedding on my wedding day, but the Plan B option worked out better than having the wedding outside. The food, hotel accommodations, valet, everything all around was great.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding venue. The ceremony space has a beautiful elevated open view of the beach with its floor to ceiling glass windows. The next door reception space was more than adequate for our 100+ guests, and also felt open and well-lit with the same type of large glass windows, access to a spacious patio with sweeping beach views. The gorgeous outdoor lounge available for the cocktail hour also has the same beach views. I loved the convenience that all three spaces are closely connected around the nice hotel lobby. The in-house wedding coordinator Yamille Castro was a pleasure to work with. She is knowledgeable, friendly, cheerful and was a big part of making everything work smoothly from planning to the final song. The service, quality of the food, and location are top notch and a bargain for the value we received: an unforgettable wedding!

Our wedding planner was Yamille Castro and she was a real gem. She made the whole process smooth and easy and was really great to work with. I celebrated my 40th birthday party at the Doubletree By Hilton Ocean Point Resort & Spa last weekend. Since I started planning the party, Yamille Castro, Sales & Catering Manager at this venue was very accommodating and worked within my budget. She helped me with recommendations with vendors such as photo, video, flowers, band and cake. She and her staff provided excellent service during the party planning and the actual party. Yamille even went the extra mile and stayed during the whole duration of the party making sure all our requests were met. When we walked to our suite at the conclusion of the birthday party we were welcomed with a Thank You card, bottle of champagne and fruit platter. Those little details make such a big difference between a good and an excellent venue. The hotel catering was delicious and she even made accommodations for my kosher and vegetarian guests to make sure all my guests could enjoy the party no matter their dietary restrictions. The weather was not too good the evening of the party and she arranged to move the reception indoors as my guests wouldn't have been able to enjoy the veranda under the inclement weather. The Ocean Point Ballroom where the dinner and dancing took place and The Atlantic Ballroom where the reception was held have the most amazing views of the ocean. The Banquet Supervisor also went out of her way during the party making sure our guests and vendors alike were fed and she even accompanied us to our bedroom at the conclusion of the party. I highly recommend the Doubletree Ocean Point Resort and Spa to anyone looking for an amazing venue with top notch service for their event.

I got married 3/8/14 at the Ocean Point Resort and if I can describe my experience with Cindi and the hotel it would be \"amazing\". Cindi is very attentive to detail and very reassuring. We had a small hiccup two weeks prior to my wedding date but Cindi dealt with it immediately and my wedding went without a hitch. My husband and I got married ON the beach, which was very important to us, and it made for the day we both dreamed of. \rOur guests were a little concerned about the price of the suites but were very satisfied with the quality and size. Those who weren't able to afford the rooms at the special rate were able to find accommodations nearby. \rI would recommend this venue in a heartbeat to anyone who wants a destination wedding or something resembling it!

My wedding day was absolutely beautiful. My wedding coordinator from Doubletree was amazing. Cindi planned every detail carefully with me, and fulfilled my every request. She gave me helpful hints for food and decorations in order to stay within my budget. \rOn the day of my wedding, she made sure that every moment was perfect for my ceremony even though she was sick with the flu. Her staff was extremely courteous and accommodating. \rThe view from the veranda was mesmerizing and my guests appreciated the ocean view during the ceremony. They were also thrilled with the open bar, which surprisingly came with my wedding package. \rThe venue as a whole was amazing and there was a view of the ocean from almost every angle. We even got our honeymoon suite for 2 nights rather than just one. I received the best wedding package for the money ( 70 guests, cake, 2 night suite, parking, decorations, open bar, etc.) \rMe, my husband, my family, and my guests were so pleased and elated with the way the event turned out and will definitely keep them in mind for future events.

The catering manager was amazing. Any questions I had whether I called or emailed were answered promptly. On the day of my wedding she made sure everything was set up the way I wanted. The venue is beautiful, food was good, and the value was great!

We were married at the Doubletree Ocean Point Resort and Spa on 10/10/10. They were great! Cindi is the catering manager and she is very dependable and helpful. The day went very smoothly. Right after the ceremony we took the elevator down to the beach for pictures. My earring fell out and down the elevator shaft, I was so bummed. Not too long after, we were on the beach doing pictures and I saw Cindi walking towards us with it. That extra service of going down into the elevator shaft to retrieve my earring was incredible. If you want to feel at ease as a bride, I'd recommend this venue. The view was beautiful and they have a great indoor back up space if needed. All of our guests enjoyed the LARGE suites and the location. Great for a destination wedding.

I have to say this isa beautiful venue and one of the bestest reasons I pick this venue was how beautiful the hotel and the view were. Another big part was Terry Longo who got all 5 star reviews of the wedding websites. Well Terry no longer works at the hotel and I tell you it is ashame. In the days leading up to the wedding we met with the coordinator and went over what we wanted which I dont think she listeded to a thing we said. Day of the wedding they did not set up for the ceremony until 30 mins prior to the guest getting there because they were waiting for the reception table runner to get there now tell me what does that have to do with the ceremony seat which again they set up the wrong chairs and charged us another $250 for. Once the reception started everything kinda fell into place and other the the bar trying to close early everything turned out great.

We were able to have a duel plate of salmon and steak. The menu was also very customizable and the steak was cooked perfectly.;The staff is very hard to get a hold of or return phone calls. Almost every one of our guests had to wait a very long time receive their rooms at the hotel.
