I would like to start by saying the DoubleTree at SeaWorld was nowhere in our top choices, but Maria F. won us over! We had a 2 day celebration (traditional Hindu wedding, Christian wedding, and reception) and all of our ceremonies were absolutely stunning! Maria worked side by side with us, answered all of our many questions, worked with our very busy work schedules, recommended vendors, was our tour guide, had storage rooms reserved for us, and even remembered to have our favorite drinks waiting for us after our ceremony. Despite a few hiccups at the resort itself, our actual wedding ceremonies all went smoothly. Maria made us feel like royalty and we have no regrets choosing this beautiful venue at all.

The DoubleTree by Hilton at SeaWorld is an amazing place to have your wedding at. The ballroom is stunning and beautiful, and the property is located right in the middle of the Orlando/theme park action for those guests coming from out of town. Maria F. was our banquet sales manager and was absolutely incredible in making us feel heard, seen, and appreciated for giving the hotel our business. She personalized our experience all the way down to the menu tasting, and really cared for us in a sincere way. We felt the wedding package and all that you get was so valuable for the price, and felt truly grateful for finding this hotel to host our wedding. My only concern was our wedding cake was not cut and served entirely, and I believe some of it never saw the room again after it was brought to the kitchen. Some of our guests sadly missed out. With that said, the buffet itself was outstanding and so many of our guests are still raving about the food even now, several weeks later. The other desserts included such as the cannolis were delicious as well and were a huge hit. We did have some challenges with the front desk and how unfriendly they were. It was a little embarrassing to know our guests were not getting the best arrival and room experiences. I did speak with front desk leadership and they rectified the situation well. I’m hopeful they absorbed my feedback when I spoke to them directly and will incorporate it in future trainings. But all in all - the venue is wonderful. Maria is fantastic and you’ll be in great hands with her and the banquet team as your main point of contact for any event.

I worked with Maria, the director of Catering and Convention Services to plan my nikkah/engagement and she was very incompetent. She rarely answered her phone or responded to my voicemails and for the most part only communicated with us via email. We also had to remind her multiple times to reply all so my fiance and I could both see the emails. My event was supposed to be in the outside pavilion and a few days before the event she told me that our layout would not adequately fit. I even met with her and my decorator two weeks prior to review the layout and she said it wouldnt be a problem. So 5 days before the event, we moved it to one of the inside ballrooms. The resort is very large and spacious and you can easily get lost. I asked the hotel to set up signs in the lobby to help direct everyone, however they didn't and many of my guests had trouble finding the ballroom.The ballroom itself was beautiful and the wait staff were very attentive, which is the only reason why I give this venue 2 stars.

We had our wedding at the DoubleTree at SeaWorld and honestly it was one of the best decisions we made. We were introduced to this amazing venue by our wedding planner Carlisha with Designer Weddings by Carly Rose who also introduced us to the event manager Rechelle. O..M..G talk about the dream team! Rechelle was so awesome and made everything easy. She was always very flexible when we needed to meet with her and responded to us extremely quick. Rechelle made the execution of our wedding plans and details look like a piece of cake (it really wasn’t) KUDOS to Rechelle. We had a 2 day wedding with the Hindu Ceremony being the first day and our Reception the next. Guests could not stop ranting and raving about this place and how versatile it was. We had our Ceremony in one of the main ballrooms right by the lobby of the hotel and our reception was in the newer ballrooms towards the back of the resort. It literally felt like we were in two different placed and not even in the state of Florida at all. Out of state guests were also able to stay on the property so they never had to travel far for the events taking place. If you are looking for an all in one venue this honestly is your one shop stop!

Rechelle (wedding specialist and social sales manager) was an absolute pleasure to work with. We chose the DoubleTree for our wedding reception location and were very happy with it. Rechelle was always very prompt in our email communications back and forth, and she was always willing to meet with us (provided she was available) to show us the hotel grounds. Each time we visited the venue, she would validate our parking. All the staff at the hotel respected her. Rechelle was very flexible with our requests for food, decorations, signage, etc. regarding our reception space. It seemed like nearly every request we had, she was able to accommodate it. We loved working with her. The wedding package included a private menu tasting, which was excellent. Her staff was great to work with, very pleasant. Unfortunately due to a family emergency, Rechelle was unable to be with us on the day of our wedding reception, but she did have her coworker Patti fill in for us, and she was great. I would highly recommend choosing the DoubleTree as your wedding ceremony or reception location and working with the awesome Rechelle.

\rIt was very important that we have a central location/venue to have both our ceremony and reception in, that was close to the attractions but still fun for all of our guests of all ages. We have stayed at the Doubletree several times and were always happy with their service, so we thought we would check them out for our wedding. We booked that day of our walk-through, and it was amazing. The location was perfect, the ambiance was great, and the hotel/venue was very accommodating and amazing! Thank you so much for allowing us to have our dream wedding there!
