Weeks later, we're still in awe at how absolutely PERFECT this venue was for our wedding! We received so many compliments on how brilliant it was to have an all inclusive venue for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception that still packed a HEAVY dose of old world style and charm. Tudor Arms Hotel had it all, from phenomenal staff to incredible food to gorgeous ballrooms, not to mention THE MOST AMAZING venue coordinator, Caroline! We highly recommend making the investment to have your wedding at this beautifully restored Cleveland landmark that truly made our wedding elegant, timeless, and one to remember! Tudor Arms Hotel is an absolutely STUNNING wedding venue! I would argue it’s the most beautiful venue in the greater Cleveland area. The ceremony room, cocktail space, and reception hall are all amazing. The three spaces are each unique but coordinating, and flow beautifully from one room to the next during the wedding day. The spaces have a grand, elegant, regal, and romantic vibe. I loved being able to showcase our live band with the stage in the crystal ballroom. There are so many beautiful spaces in the hotel for photography. The guest hotel rooms are nice. The on-site coordinator, Caroline, was great! She went above and beyond and she worked well with my wedding planner. She was very attentive to detail and helped the day run smoothly. I could not have asked for a more beautiful venue. I couldn’t say enough great things about the Tudor arms. The venue spaces are stunning and so unique, the food is to die for, and the coordination is much more than I expected to get. Caroline was always quick to respond to our questions, gave us tips along the way, and was very accommodating to our needs. So many people tell you you need a wedding coordinator not “just the venue’s” but I can tell you right now that that is not true at this one! Everything ran so smoothly and it felt like they were just as invested in our day as we were. We got so many compliments from our guests about the venue, the AMAZING food, and how smoothly everything went. Seriously if you’re debating this venue don’t hesitate! Reviewed on 31-07-2023

I cannot recommend the Tudor arms, hotel enough! I must first start bye acknowledging how wonderful our event coordinator, Caroline, was! She was so thoughtful, professional, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire wedding planning process. It’s amazing they do not charge extra for the event coordinator services! The entire staff of the Tudor Arms make sure that we had the perfect day and that every little detail was attended to. Everything was just as we had planned and extremely well organized as well as clean! There were many options to accommodate all our guests and their varying dietary and mobility restrictions! Many hotels have venue spaces that don’t have much character, but the Tudor Arms is head and shoulders above any other venue like it. We really cannot overstate how perfect the entire weekend was!! It is even more grand and beautiful in person than the pictures online (and the pictures are spectacular). We worked with Caroline. Not only was she incredibly friendly and easy to work with, but she ensured that everything was seamless. Any issues were quickly taken care of when asked. We had many guests comment on how friendly the entire staff was from the hotel front desk to the bartenders to the waitstaff.The bottom line- The Tudor Arms gave us everything we wanted and more. She was always prompt in communication, professional in ever interaction and incredibly easy to work with. The venue itself is stunning. Gorgeous, large windows with a medieval feel to it all. The space is perfectly designed for a ceremony, cocktail hour and reception space. There were an ample amount of restrooms that we kept clean and tidy throughout the night. The dinner service was impeccable. They staff enough waitstaff to very quickly get nearly 200 dinners out. If you’re looking for a vintage/antique vibe… this is your venue. Caroline was an absolute doll to work with from start to finish, she really went above and beyond for us. The venue itself was beautiful and well maintained we got so many compliments on it. The food and drinks were also great we had no complaints there. The room block booking was a little sticky at first but once I got everything worked out it was a very easy process. The elevators were down at the time of my wedding but they had staff members running them and it went very smoothly from early morning to late night. We wanted to do everything in one location so that people didn’t have to drive (especially with it being a New Years Eve wedding), so having a different room/space for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception was perfect. Not to mention each space is stunningly beautiful and unique with so much character, so people didn’t feel like they were in the same room for 8 hours. Aside from flowers, there wasn’t anything we needed to do on the decor front (and even flowers weren’t necessary to make it beautiful). We also loved how inclusive it was. Everything from food, bar service, linens, chairs, security, etc was included in our package. You really get your money’s worth! They also provided a breakfast for our guests the next morning. Our coordinator Caroline was an absolute rockstar! She helped us from beginning to end, and we didn’t need a wedding planner because she was so helpful! I do have to note that the hotel that is attached to the venue that had our room block gave some of our guests issues when trying to book (things like telling them the wedding was a different day, saying the room block was full when it wasn’t), but even with, that I’m still giving them 5 stars because, when I would bring it to Caroline’s attention, it was handled. I opted to get ready at my hotel which created some issues for my arrival, I didn't realize how early some guests arrived! There isn't any secret entrance so I had to have my bridesmaids run ahead and warn people. I also had planned to take some pictures in the ceremony space with my bridesmaids beforehand but didn't realize there were windows to the doors. Fortunately, Caroline was a superstar and realized this was happening and stationed herself in front of the doors so people could not enter/peek in. Caroline in general was superb, I was later informed about a few hiccups that were occurring unbeknownst to me but from what I was told, she handled everything great!My pictures that were produced from this venue literally made me feel like I was in a Disney movie. Tudor Arms has the most classy and fairytale atmosphere for a wedding reception. We took a chance touring the venue as it wasn’t my vision at first. After meeting Caroline and getting the grand tour, my husband and I fell in love. We toured multiple venues and this was the only one we could not stop thinking about. Caroline (the event coordinator) makes you feel as if you have been friends for years. She has a very warm personality and bends over backwards to help keep the day going as planned. The bar staff was excellent and kept up with the mass alcohol consumption of my 250 guests. We did a plated event that was punctual and delicious. Although I missed out on cocktail hour, my guests did inform me of how delicious the passed appetizers were and how stunning the cheese display was. There are three separate areas which we utilized for our large guest count. Dinner was served in a room with beautiful paintings, high ceilings, and enchanting windows. We used the stage as space to cut our cake which created enough room on the floor for a head table to hold 23 people. Caroline was extremely accommodating when i wanted to rearrange the floor plan. We used the center room to host our cocktail hour where there was enough room to showcase a memory display, gift table, audio guest book and violinist/cello. The doors leading to the dinner area were closed during this time which made the entrance that much more breath taking. We used the third room for dancing and our Photo Booth. This hall had two stories which allowed people to watch from above for our first dances and grand entrances. The Photo Booth was also located on the second floor of the dance hall (wheel chair accessible) which helped disperse people in all areas of the venue. The dance area had beautiful woodwork all throughout and also showcased floor to ceiling windows. The venue also features multiple bathrooms on both sides of the floor, elevator reaching each floor making it accessible to all, and get ready rooms (Romeo and Juliet) which over look one of the spaces. As a person who works in the service industry, the staff was fast paced and hardworking. The workers were also very polite and handled a wild crowd. Our guests had many positive compliments about the food as well. We enjoyed the food tasting so much that it was hard to pick 3 options.We worked with the wedding coordinator, Caroline, throughout the whole process. SHE IS AMAZING! Caroline went above and beyond our expectations to make our wedding day perfect and flawless. She is organized, caring, and knows how to make your wedding day just as you imagine it to be. Kathryn Fyffe(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-04-2022 Our wedding at the Tudor Arms this past Saturday was PERFECT!! The venue looks gorgeous in photos and looks even more gorgeous in person. We worked with Caroline the wedding coordinator at the venue, and she was so organized, attentive, and super responsive to our questions and texts from the moment that we booked with the venue. Caroline was also incredibly supportive in the weeks leading up the wedding with multiple last minutes changes to our ceremony and itinerary; she really helped us create and manage the wedding of our dreams. We reserved the Juliette room for the girls to get ready in, which is perfect for photos and they provided a mimosa bar for us all to enjoy while getting ready. The guys rented the Airbnb in the penthouse suite of the hotel (not advertised by the venue since it is not always available, but you HAVE to book it if it is) which is BEAUTIFUL. The Airbnb provides rooftop access to the hotel and has a beautiful view of the CLE skyline in addition to so many other crazy features. Our photographers have done a million weddings at the Tudor Arms and had never been up there before, and immediately said that they need to do more photoshoots there. We then had our ceremony in the Tudor Ballroom, which is beautiful and really gives church wedding vibes without the formality and logistical nightmare of moving from the church to the reception. We then took a party bus for offsite photos at the art museum (a less than 5 minute drive from the venue) while our guests enjoyed cocktail hour. While we were sad that we didn't get to enjoy cocktail hour, we heard nothing but amazing things about the hors d'oeuvres, signature cocktails, and the slideshow on the venue's TVs. Caroline had our schedule down to the minute and we started our entrances to the reception perfectly on time and the champagne toast was promptly served. The venue served a plated dinner that was delicious!! The chicken and beef were just as good as they were during our tasting, and even our vegan and vegetarian guests were impressed with the cauliflower steak. From there the night was mostly in the hands of the bartenders and DJ, who crushed it! The bartenders were having a lot of fun talking to our guests and were not rude in the slightest to a few of our guests that needed to be cut off by the end of the night. Caroline also helped us perfectly execute a sparkler send-off, which must have been like herding cats by 11pm...and then we capped off the night with an after party in the Tudor Bar and Grill. The late night snacks were AMAZING and honestly the perfect touch to end the night. Our hotel rooms in the venue were very clean and modern, which is hard to do considering the hotel is historic. The next morning our whole family and Caroline helped us with clean up, which the venue pretty much handled so we only need to pack up everything that we brought. We were not rushed in the slightest and were able to take our time, which if you ever helped with clean up at a DIY venue you would understand just how much of a godsend that is. Overall, the wedding was perfect, and I cannot imagine us getting married anywhere else. Thank you to all of the staff at the Tudor Arms, especially Caroline, the absolute GOAT!! Food was spectacular and planning process was great with the coordinator and all of the individuals involved from the chef to the hotel concierge to the cleanup crew were excellent. I would highly recommend the Tudor Arms. I cannot say enough about Caroline who worked so closely with my daughter to make sure her vision came true. She was extremely organized and always responded to our phone messages and emails. Her attention to detail allowed us to focus on my daughter and her husband and our guests. We had the ceremony in the Tudor Room where the beautiful woodwork and the wall of windows provided an amazing background.Our guests then had the convenience of moving to the next room for cocktails and then the next room, the Crystal Ballroom for dinner and dancing. Our guests were amazed at the beauty of both ballrooms but specifically the Crystal Ballroom. And then there was the food! Our meals were delicious and the presentation was a show in itself. It was beautiful in every way I wished for it to be. My guests raved about it, there was ample space to seat 200+ but they still arranged things to make it look like our 130 filled the room. The day-of coordinator was extremely helpful throughout the planning process and made the day overall worry-free. I'm so thankful for how well the wedding itself went because our experience at this hotel was less than ideal. Hotel: dreadful. I'm 100% serious in recommending you suggest that your guests stay somewhere else. I will try to limit my novel to a few lowlights: I had multiple guests who were checked into dirty rooms (one woke up with chewed gum on her arm that wasn't hers but was in her bed...ew!), others who had to wait over an hour in the lobby for their rooms to be ready AFTER 10pm (check-in time is at 4pm and don't even think about trying to get an early check-in). They didn't clean our room even after I called down since it was going from the bridesmaid suite to our honeymoon suite I wanted to make sure it was clean. At 11pm we came upstairs to find everything still dirty from when me and the girls got ready. No clean towels, no toilet paper. My in-laws didn't have AC in their room their first night! And to top it all off, the front desk staff was overwhelmingly rude and dismissive about all of our concerns. Reviewed on 29-07-2021

The event planning committee was so thorough and communicative. When we were there, the actual hotel staff were just the sweetest people you will ever meet. They truly met every single one of our needs... above and beyond. The actual hotel is a Historic National Registry, which gives it so much character. The entire space from the entrance way, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception- was out of this world. The space spoke for itself! I give the hotel, and wedding/event space my highest recommendation. We worked with their event coordinator Kristen and with our hired wedding planner... with those two together it was a breeze planning for our wedding! They are very organized and keep you on schedule with planning, which is fantastic. There was constant updates with pricing and decisions as you added or took things away. There was also google docs that showed the floor plans, etc which was super accessible and easy to use! The food is phenomenal and I am not just saying that because we had our wedding there. We have had so many guest after the fact tell us hands down the best food they have had at a wedding. Other comments from guest were that it was beautiful (which really its breath taking) and the staff that worked the wedding were all very friendly and I agree! I am giving this venue 5 stars stars but unfortunate there was a little issue with workers that worked for the hotel. The front desk and hotel sales were pretty rude to me and my guests. There was also an issue where I bought breakfast for the day of and wanted to bring it up to my suite while I got ready. The hotel staff was so rude and would not let their serves bring bagels and fruit kabobs up to our room (even though the servers agreed it was a super easy move and they were willing to do so) so I just ended up having my bridal party go down and grab all the food. One other comment I would like the venue to be aware of is the ladies bathroom ran out of toilet paper and it was never restocked during the wedding. We envisioned a fairy tale snowball wedding (everything from black and white guest attire to ivory decor) and this venue was perfect! When you walk down the isle towards the gorgeous two story leaded windows the exquisite 1930's architecture in the Tudor ballroom makes you feel like you are in a real life castle! Then, when you head into the Crystal ballroom (this is where we held our reception) you are overwhelmed with the floor to ceiling oil paintings and beautiful brass chandeliers. You can transform this space to meet any vision but the best part is it's beauty simply shines effortlessly. The food was of high caliber and the chef offered so many customizable options to make your meal represent your style in every way. The stage was also a great size that was able to accommodate our 9 piece band with ease! In addition, we used the empire room and reading room to house our cocktail hour with a pianist on the grand piano and a nice vintage settee by fireplace (you can have any furniture you like brought in-you don't have to use the ones they have there). We also chose to have our rehearsal dinner and send off brunch at the Tudor Arms which was just lovely. (For an extra charge you can rent out the Tudor ballroom and your floral and linens are displayed for your guests to enjoy. )Perhaps most importantly, we could not have been more impressed with the event staff at the Tudor arms hotel! Our day of coordinator was Kristen and she was truly like having a full fledged wedding planner! The Tudor Room where we had our ceremony is impressive and stately & the window makes an awesome backdrop for a ceremony. The Crystal Ballroom, however, is the real gem. It was a perfect space for our black tie optional wedding with the beautiful murals and details, and the dance floor and stage are amazing for a band! Our guests were gushing about how beautiful the spaces were, and the whole set-up of Tudor Room to cocktails to Crystal Ballroom is super convenient. Additionally, the food is really quite good. I think most people have low expectations for wedding food but the Tudor Arms dinner is delicious! I loved the halibut. The little touches were really nice, too, roses on the bed when we went up and some of our cake. It's also super important to mention the staff. Michelle helped us through the whole process (from the very beginning) and was our day of coordinator, and she's super lovely & helpful and made sure every detail was taken care of. Vanessa was also so helpful & kind with the rooms. We had 1 other person help with the tasting and I can't remember her name now but she was also wonderful. What a great team! The original carved wood railings, gigantic fireplace, and floor to ceiling windows are stunning! We utilized all the rooms on the second floor making for a seamless transition from ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception. The Crystal Ballroom is equally as beautiful. We knew we didn't want to spend a ton of money on flowers and lighting and having the wedding at an already beautiful venue helped to lower the costs. The entire planning process was facilitated by Kristen who I cannot recommend highly enough! Her organizational skills, yet calm nature made the entire process of planning and decision-making manageable and approachable. She had a ton of knowledge related to all the details as well as vendor recommendations. Having her guide us from the first tour to the meal tastings, numerous walk-throughs, and then the wedding day was wonderful as I knew she was on top of all the details we had planned. She responds quickly and answers all questions all while keeping a smile on her face! I can't say enough nice things about her!Lastly, almost all of our guests were from out of town so we occupied a large number of rooms Friday and Saturday night of our wedding weekend. The front desk staff was wonderful and we worked with Reyna in the Canopy restaurant to host an after-party - also a breeze to organize! If you are looking for a gorgeous venue, an accommodating event planning staff, delicious food, versatility, AND bonus - a \"one stop shop\" for ceremony and reception, look no further. I am blown away by how perfect our wedding was, I will never forget it's due largely in part to this fantastic venue and their staff. Something to note: If the \"space rental\" fee scares you, bear in mind that with that comes a team of qualified event coordinators who will help you coordinate your vendors, deliveries, offer suggestions, etc. so trust me - it's WORTH IT. It was a magical day and we cannot speak highly enough of this venue and staff. Kristen was our main coordinator and contact from the hotel who was able to answer all of our questions over the past 9 months - she is so quick to respond and helped organize every detail and aspect of our event (down to the minute). Both ballrooms (the Tudor and Crystal) are STUNNING! Tudor Arms was able to coordinate with all of our outside vendors and everything went so smoothly. We also had our rehearsal dinner at the hotel as well. The food was amazing - our guests raved about meal as well as the cocktail hour food and drinks. We also did late-night sliders and french fries which were a hit! Working with Kristen was extremely helpful and she was so organized from day one. We could always count on her to respond to e-mails and messages very promptly! The entire process went so smoothly, including working with Vanessa and Veronica for hotel blocks and working with guest check in. We had the most beautiful reception and had so many guests rave about how incredible the entire night was. Many guests said it was the best wedding they had ever attended and they all raved about the food! The entire evening went so smoothly, but more importantly, I could always count on the team at Tudor Arms to keep me organized and on track to have the best wedding possible. As the mother of the bride, I can tell you there is much coordination when planning a wedding, especially when the couple does not live in town. Kristen and her staff certainly helped make the reception so easy. The venue is beautiful, the food excellent, and the service was wonderful. Because people would be coming from out of town, we wanted someplace where accommodations would be available and it be close to the church. After visiting a few venues, they knew theTudor Arms would be perfect for their reception. We had the cocktail hour in the Tudor Room, then moved to the ballroom for the reception. Everything went smoothly, only closing the bar for thirty minutes while moving from room to room. It was a great night, despite being the hottest July day on record! It was so njce having everything under one roof, dealing with one person who really cared and listened. I also have to acknowledge Scott at Segelin’s Florist, right in the same building. After now having our wedding here we know we made the right choice. We especially loved how elegant and spacious it was. We chose the 3 separate rooms so we could have the ceremony take place then people could move into the cocktail room then reception. Our guests where highly impressed and it was especially nice having a hotel onsite that provided great service for our guests. We especially appreciated the staff. Kristen and Caroline where fantastic at each step of the way. They handled all the planning, assisted with timelines and helped coordinate and assure all vendors knew what they where doing and when. She pulled off the most fabulous and fun tasting with 6 of our groomsmen/bridesmaids, accompanied by wine pairings. On the day of the wedding, she worked so hard to make sure our day was perfect. And it was. There was not a single forgotten detail. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all at Turdor Arms. Everything was simply magical and perfect. I do not even think there are enough words for me to express what an amazing experience I had working with Michelle and Billy and every other employee at the Tudor Arms. The customer service for our guests staying in the hotel was incredible, Billy, basically was the wedding day event planner we did not have to hire in addition... he played the role so well coordinating everything the day of the wedding and making sure everyone was suppose to be when they had to be. From making sure the linens were straight, to our luggage being put in our room, to making sure my husband and i had everything we needed at our fingertips... we just had the most spectacular experience and the venue itself is just GRAND and beautiful!!!! These folks really know what they are doing, and they did anything we asked to make this perfect. The venue itself is beautiful. Michelle, Billy, and Melissa did all the timing coordination and made helpful suggestions for the vendors from lighting to bakery and were delightful to work with from the event planning and running of the day of the rehearsal through wedding through morning after clean up. They stick with you, and they don't let things slip through the cracks so that you can relax and enjoy the days. The team at Tudor Arms truly knew exactly what to do and did it beautifully. We were looking for a venue that was unique and would reflect our love of history. Boy did we hit the mark. They've got 2 lovely large halls on the 2nd floor with some rooms in between the 2 halls. We used one for ceremony and one for the reception hall, with the rooms in between as our cocktail hour. They provide you with an event coordinator, day of coordinator and bridal assistant, in addition to their wonderful staff of servers and bartenders. Our guests can not stop complimenting the beauty of the hall and the wonderful service of the staff. Some of our guests have even worked in the banquet industry and they made sure to tell me how organized and kind the Tudor staff was. Indoors is great for pictures, and if you have the time and good weather, there's a lovely highschool across the street for outdoor photography. Being a hotel, a lot of guests spent the night and we we able to provide breakfast for them in the morning. The staff even made sure to leave us a bottle of champagne, light candles, and leave and extra dinner in our mini fridge in case we didn't eat or were hungry after the reception in our hotel room. Michelle and Billy truly made the whole experience unforgettable with their attention to detail, quick response time, and professionalism. I did not have a wedding planner and truly did not need one thanks to Billy and all the work he did as the event planner for the big day. He made everything run smoothly and even provided us girls with the beautiful Juliette room to get ready in the morning of. The valet and front desk were also very friendly and always helpful. The Tudor Arms Hotel is absolutely the most gorgeous, polished, professional space you could get married. The hotel offers beautiful additions to the wedding planning process, and the space is out of a fairytale. My guests were blown away by the class and elegance of the space, and kept commenting that they had seen nothing like it in a wedding venue. When I tell you that our day was truly flawless, it was. The day of the event planner, Billy, should be given the highest Michelin stars for running the day smoothly, coordinating the staff and vendors, constantly communicating with us throughout the night, and going above and beyond to give us special touches throughout the day. I never had a care in the world from the room block, to the DELICIOUS food, passed hor d'ouvres (that my guests ate more than 200 of because they were so good!), endless drinks and bars, and gorgeous decor. My dream to be married in a unique and beautiful venue in my hometown of Cleveland, Ohio came true when I booked with The Tudor Arms Hotel. I honestly procrastinated wedding planning because I never thought we would be able to afford such an elegant venue. Well lucky for me I was wrong. I decided to go for it, give them a call, and set up an appointment. I had no expectations and was working with a tight budget. Vanessa Pesta conducted the tour and she was so helpful, answered my questions, and made me feel like I could truly have my dream wedding. I wanted a Friday wedding to lower costs, had an off season date in March, and still The Tudor team worked needlessly to meet my budget and assisted me every step of the way. It is difficult to convey how much gratitude I have for their entire team. Michelle Wirgha Sales Mgr. was my go to person for anything and everything. She is wonderful. As I type this I tear up a bit because I never realized how hard and stressful wedding planning is when you do it on your own. Well, Michelle helped me so much and brought so many important details to light that I would have missed blindly. I owe much of the perfection and execution of the day to her. She works incredibly hard. I never felt like a second rate bride due to my budget in fact it felt like the opposite. Michelle always returned my emails and calls promptly and even sent me reminders when I needed them. I know I wasn't her only bride but I felt as if I was. She worked seamlessly with the Tudor team. The director of sales Kimberly Tavenier and Frank Romero handled my hotel room block for the bridal party and guests and they both were so helpful and kind we owe them a debt of gratitude. All of my now husband's family/friends came in from out of town and they made sure everything was in order. The day of coordinator Billy Zavesky, whom I also could not thank enough, is amazing! He is a miracle worker. I met him during our walk through and tasting appointment and I knew our wedding day was going to be in exceptional hands. The food was delicious, he answered all of our questions, and offered suggestions on details I would have easily overlooked. Leading up to our day, he accepted all of the items I brought in, including my seating chart, card box, table signs, candles, ceremony decor and coordinated my timeline with all of my vendors! They did the set up and tear down of the room! Another worry off my shoulders. I've had contact with several of these vendors post wedding and they continue to say how wonderful he is to work with and how great he is at his job. Billy has so many responsibilities and I need to make it clear that he is in a league of his own! He made sure every item I brought was in its place and there was not a flaw! Everyone continues to tell me what a fairy tale wedding we had, and I owe it all to the Tudor team. The next morning we went down for breakfast and the dining manager DaJuan and our waitress Cindy would not even allow us to pay for our meal that is how generous and kind they all are. Our housekeeping attendant for the day Melissa made sure we had everything we needed like extra chairs for hair and makeup. If you are looking for a magnificent and elegant wedding venue then the Tudor is a must see. They have the most amazing staff I have ever encountered in any industry. Both our ceremony and reception were in the Crystal Ballroom; if it weren't for the Tudor Ballroom being equally as magnificent, I would say this room is the most beautiful in the hotel. We began this journey working with Michelle via email. From day one, she was helpful, responsive and willing to do almost anything for us. She communicated the details with us from start to finish, and Annie and I felt like we were being well taken care of.Billy at the Tudor Arms was exceptional. He managed our event from the initial walk though to the final moments of our wedding weekend. He helped us with the details, assured us he would take care of the rest, and we trusted him with this responsibility. Annie and I knew from our first meeting with Billy that he was our guy come the wedding day.Our wedding was very intimate with about 50 people in attendance. Billy worked with us and made sure our vision was brought to life. We requested lattice style seating (we had two large tables each in the shape of an X), and he delivered lattice style seating. We requested triple-cooked, hand-cut french fries as a side to our entrees and he made sure we received the best damn french fries we've ever had. Billy is a top-notch event manager and an incredible asset to any wedding day. He was with us the day of our wedding and made sure that everyone stayed on-time. He was hands-on, working with staff to make sure guests were taken care of, and he always made sure to check on Annie and I. If it weren't for Billy and his incredible attention to detail, I'm not sure how our wedding day would have unfolded. The entire Tudor Arms staff was out-of-this-world extraordinary. When we walked downstairs after getting ready to catch our limo for photos, the girls at the reception desk, as well as the valet workers, cried when they saw us. We felt welcomed, at home, and truly like we were celebrating with family. On the night of our wedding, Tudor Arms staff made sure every single one of our guests were happy. Not one person had anything negative to say about the venue, the food, or the staff. After our first walk through we knew we had made the right decision, so the positive feedback was to no surprise for us.Overall, we'd recommend the Tudor Arms for any event. First of all, the venue itself is gorgeous both in person and in pictures - it is truly a fairy tale venue. It looks fit for a king and queen! We fell in love with it the very first time we walked in. The grand ceilings, the floor to ceiling windows, the beautiful wood floors and the artwork in the rooms are just beautiful. Second of all, the staff is AMAZING. We worked with Michelle and Billy throughout most of the process. They both were super helpful in ironing out all the details of the big day and they thought of every little thing. I consider myself a very detailed oriented person, and even I was impressed with their attention to detail! They helped make the planning process fun and easy. Michelle in particular (who I worked the most with) was always so cheerful, nice, and helpful - and her response times are out of this world. I would get a response from her within a day and sometimes within a few hours - I remember a week or two before the wedding I sent her an email at midnight and got a response within an hour! (which trust me, when it's crunch time you are extremely grateful for that kind of responsiveness!)The service wasn't just great during the planning process, but the day of as well. The entire Tudor event staff was so friendly and helpful - I had an attendant to help me throughout the whole day, and Billy kept the day running so smoothly. Everything came out exactly how we had talked about it, with no detail left forgotten. Our guests raved about the service and how great the wait staff was - they said things appeared as if by magic when they needed them. The food was delicious, and the portions were LARGE. Our guests kept saying how great their meals were.It is truly a magical venue fit for royalty - we could not have asked for a better venue to have our wedding at. Best decision ever! After our first venue visit here, nothing else compared. Vanessa gave a detailed walk through of the space and helped us with all of our questions during the booking process. It isn't the most cost-friendly place to have your wedding but it is so worth it. The entire staff is accommodating, detail-oriented, friendly and kind. We never met an unfriendly person or saw someone not smiling throughout our entire wedding planning process and throughout our entire wedding. Every time we went to the venue before booking and after booking everyone remembered us and everyone was so friendly and seemed excited about our upcoming wedding. Everyone treated us and our guests so well. Michelle kept track of everything we discussed in such a detailed and organized way and Billy executed everything perfectly and always had a smile on his face and seemed happy to be helping us. The food is incredible, it is not easy to make a delicious meal for 270 people but they did it with no problem at all - all of our wedding guests raved about it and so many said it was the best wedding food they have ever had. I have strict dietary restrictions and Tudor Arms was able to accommodate those for all of my meals including brunch the next day and lunch while getting ready and everything I was given was amazing. Everyone said our wedding was the most beautiful wedding they have ever attended. I had an amazing experience working with them and was in love with the venue. It is classic, elegant, and historical. From the start, my contact for all planning was Michelle. All of her responses were prompt to me as we were planning and she is extremely kind and patient. Billy was our coordinator on the day of our wedding and he was a life-saver. He knew where everything was, who to contact, and how to immediately help with anything we needed. I also can’t give enough thanks to Melissa, who was also helping out the entire wedding day -- AND morning after, even as there was another wedding taking place that night! Everyone commented on how helpful, polite, and professional she was. So many guests complimented not just the amazing food, but the quality of service. It was such a relief to know we were in such good hands the entire day and that the staff was so put together. One other thing I appreciated: though we didn’t rent a room for breakfast the next morning, they gave it to us at no cost because it was so busy Labor Day weekend and said that it would be nice to have a dedicated space for our guests. How nice!!! Another final thing I’ll add about this venue so that brides know: there are amazing rooms overlooking the crystal ballroom called the Romeo and Juliette room that you can choose to get ready in (we loved those), you can choose to have cocktails in the large breakfast room space next to the ballroom, and there is also a Tudor Room at the other end of the floor that many brides use for their ceremony. There is a charge to rent those 2 other spaces, but what I loved is that there were all those options available and each space is so beautiful and unique. Also it’s a perk to have your wedding at a hotel and not have to coordinate transportation to and from there! Thanks to the Tudor Arms for making our day so special and memorable. Although we had some unexpected cold and rainy weather, The Tudor Arms made our wedding absolutely perfect! Although Michelle is out of state, she made the planning process painless and enjoyable. She is attentive to every detail and is always available to answer any question you may have. I rarely felt worried or overwhelmed because the staff were always one step ahead of me. Billy and Shannon, along with the other staff on site, made the day run extremely smooth! We had no issues, and we continue to receive feedback and comments in regards to the service from the staff throughout the evening. We truly appreciate the hard work that the staff provided at our reception. Although this is cliche, our wedding was the best day of our lives and we have The Tudor Arms to thank for that! My daughter's May wedding was amazing due to the grandeur of this building and the guidance of the wonderful people working with us.\r\rWe looked at four different venues, but as we toured this building with Vanessa we knew Tudor Arms was the perfect choice. It was warm and inviting where the others felt very corporate. For us, it was important that the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception flow seamlessly from one area to the next with no shared rooms. Tudor Arms was the only venue to offer that option, in the most elegant manner. The entire floor was our private space for the whole day.\r\r Vanessa, Michelle, and Billy directed us through every step to make this wedding a stress free event. (You get what you pay for.)\rBilly was in charge of the rehearsal the day before, so we all knew exactly what to do and when.\r\rThe chef prepared each of our meal selections, for the tasting, just as it would be served to our guests. The chef was very willing to adjust flavors to make the meals perfect for our personal tastes. Delicious is a word guests are still using to describe the food they ate.\r\rBilly was our event coordinator the day of the wedding. No words can describe how wonderful he is. It is clear Billy loves his job and is a joy to work with. The entire wait staff was so nice and helpful. They each interacted with the tables they were in charge of. Many guests mentioned this to me.\r\rI must also mention the valet staff. They were very helpful and friendly at the end of a long day. They helped us load our cars with items going home. They even took an interest in how our day had been.\r\rI was told that the next morning the staff, including the chef, applauded the bride and groom at check out.\r\rWhat an amazing experience this has been. I had both my ceremony and reception at the hotel (we took the whole floor for the evening). It was intimate, special and really went off without a hitch. \r\rThe venue itself is stunning. Both rooms (Tudor and Crystal Ballroom) offer wonderful and unique decor and ample room. The food is fantastic (with lots of choices and special requests available including dietary and allergen issues). Most of all the staff--everyone from the event and on site coordinators to the hotel, food service and other staff were AWESOME. They attended to my (and our guests) every need, were pleasant and super helpful as well both the day of and the morning after. We all stayed the night at the hotel too and that was easy and very comfortable. \r\rNot having a wedding planner (besides myself and my mom), I sincerely appreciated Michelle, Shannon and Billy's attention to every detail (and crazy idea I might come up with). I know it's not in the most central location for a lot of west siders, but it is not to be missed if you are looking for a unique place. \r\rA few things like the valet only parking (the prices can add up) and the location (driving distance or other amenities not being so close) might put some off, but overall I am so pleased with this venue I can't stop talking about. I knew we had to have our wedding there as soon as I saw the Crystal Ballroom! It's classic and elegant, exactly what we were looking for! I also loved that we were able to have our ceremony on site in the beautiful Tudor Room right across the hall with the whole floor dedicated to our event for the full day. We worked closely with Michelle (via phone and email) who is extremely organized and detailed and Billy and Shannon on site. They allowed the whole day to run smoothly, were there whenever we needed something, and their staff was friendly and helpful. Our guests were impressed with everything from the decor to the food! I also appreciated that we had dedicated rooms for the wedding party to get ready. One of my favorite parts of the day was being introduced as husband and wife on the balcony in the ballroom overlooking all of our friends and family! Working with her from start to finish in the planning process was great. I work at a hotel in Chicago and would be so proud if we had someone as amazing as Vanessa on our team. She is sweet, personable, friendly, accommodating, and helpful. We never felt like we were bothering her and she was ALWAYS happy to help us when needed. She went ABOVE and beyond - and I, too, want my wedding at the Tudor Arms in the future because of this. I'd love to work with her again and have her plan MY wedding as well. \r\rAdditionally, the Banquets Staff is incredible. They were SO nice all night and the brunch (which by the way, was gorgeous) was so wonderful because they were ON TOP OF IT. Joseph, James, and Shawn were so sweet and great. Everyone loved having them there at the wedding & brunch. Billy was also so helpful too – as was the Director of Food & Beverage who helped with the brunch. \r\rFreddie – in Housekeeping – was friendly in the elevator, sent my boyfriend & me a goody bag from her, and made sure to introduce herself to me. She was great.\r \rLastly, when checking out, the Front Desk Staff was sweet, professional, and made sure our bill was 100% correct. Anonymous (bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-07-2014 I searched all of the venues in Cleveland, indoor and out while being engaged for three years.\r\rFinally I stumbled across The Tudor Arms Hotel in University Circle. From the outside you would never guess what is on the inside.... two breathtaking ballrooms! The Crystal Ballroom feels like a European wonder with 35 foot ceilings, hand painted murals, leaded glass windows, golden chandeliers and a hard wood floor. The best part (for photos) in the room are the \"Juliet\" and \"Romeo\" balconies that overlook the room. The Tudor Ballroom is completely the opposite the Crystal, resembling an old church. It has stone pillars, wooden beamed ceiling and again the 35 foot ceilings.\r\rOnce I saw the space I knew it was perfect for my Ceremony and Reception. \r\rWe booked the venue and the planning began. The process was so smooth with Michelle Wirgha guiding me through and reminding me what we needed to decide and making suggestions. Being an anal bride I was a bit much but Michelle and Vanessa were overly accommodating and made sure everything was in order!\r\rOn my wedding day I was worried I would not be able to relax and enjoy it as I was thinking of any detail I missed however I was wrong. I woke up, had my hair and makeup done in the Juliet room while viewing the set up of the room and didn't have a care in the world!\r\rThe onsite team; Billy, Shannon and their whole team made sure everything was perfect and were over attentive.\r\rMy guests raved about the food and that the service staff was wonderful. I even had one guest say they were treated so well that they felt like it was their personal wedding!\r\rShannon kept us on track with our planned timeline and at the end of the night all of my items, candles, food, our gifts, cards and aything we had brought were all already placed in our sleeping room. \r\rI can't thank The Tudor Arms enough for creating everything I ever imagined and much more! The building is so timeless and amazing. \r\rAfter you get past that you get to meet Michelle she is your event coordinator. Michelle and the staff she puts together are just top notch. They really make your special day really feel special. I just cant think of words to describe it. I have never in my life had better service anywhere else. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking. You owe it to yourself if your looking at venues to call Michelle and let her make your wedding day one you will remember forever. \r\rLow maintenance, low stress I mean its a venue you don't have to decorate just book a DJ, Photographer, Flowers and pick center pieces and your done. The Tudor Arms is absolutely beautiful and Michelle Johanns and her staff made sure our day was perfect down to every last detail. From the time we booked the Tudor Arms a year in advance to the last minute of the wedding reception, Michelle was friendly, helpful and organized. There were no \"surprises\" and everything went perfectly. We received so many compliments on the venue and the service and we were very pleased with the entire experience. The venue itself is stunning but it would not be complete without there amazing staff! Michelle, the event manager, was absolutely fantastic! She made the whole day stress free. Everything from start to finish with them was a class-act. While I didn't expect to be a \"ballroom bride\" - I am so glad we had our reception at this beautiful venue. Not only is the staff wonderful, but the food was excellent as well! I will never be able to repay Michelle and her team for all that they did to make our day extra-special other than raving and spreading the word about this great place.
