For Terri/Kristie: Where do we even begin!? Terri was amazing from the moment we met in 2021 leading up to our wedding in October 2023! She was so informative, always there for any questions/concerns we may have had and always made us feel like the most important couple! She’s extraordinary at her job which made our wedding day run so smoothly! I didn’t have anything to worry about the day which I loved! I was assigned a day of concierge named Kristie who helped me with anything I needed, she drove the golf cart for us to our photo spots, kept me calm before my first look and made me feel at ease with everything going on that day. She also stayed with us up until we left the venue and gathered all our things we might have left behind! Her and Terri kept our drinks full, they brought us our dinners and made sure we were doing okay the whole night. They both made our day perfect! Thank you so much! ~ The Sheaffer’s The Venue: From the moment we talked with Terri and she gave us a tour we knew this was where we wanted our wedding. We looked at a couple of other venues before coming to Downingtown Country Club and none of them compared. The atmosphere, the staff and the surroundings were just a few of the reasons why we loved this place so much. We loved that there was a backup plan in case of rain, but thankfully we didn’t need! Their food is phenomenal and their chocolate room is to die for, I wish we could have another wedding just to come here again and do it all over, we will definitely recommend the venue to anyone we know who is getting married!

The venue was great, Terri and her staff were awesome and accommodating in every way possible. The food was great, everyone was happy with the entrees. For the cost of Downingtown, we believe it is the best bang for your buck wedding venue in the Greater Philadelphia Area. Highly recommend!

My husband and I got married at Downingtown Country Club on 10/20/23. The whole experience was amazing! Terri and her team were the absolute best! They made the planning process super easy and made our wedding day run smooth and completely stress free. We got so many compliments from family and friends on how beautiful the venue was and how great the food was. I can’t recommend this venue enough!

Terri and the entire team at DCC were fantastic and truly brought our vision to life. We wanted to find a venue that we could trust and take a lot of day-of work off our place, and were so happy that DCC was the perfect fit. Terri was amazing throughout our entire process, always willing and able to ask questions, and our day went off without a hitch. I cannot recommend them enough. Honestly, it was the chocolate indulgence room that sold me but the entire venue was fantastic on our day. On our day, we had some rain in the forecast, and they were patient and kind as we made our difficult decision (to have it outside)!! The entire venue was decorated just as I envisioned and I felt that every detail was thought of and executed. Colin and I are so happy that we decided to go with DCC !!!! THANK YOU!!!!

My husband and I, recently got Married at Downingtown Country Club, and they were amazing throughout the entire process. Terri and her team are wonderful! They make the planning and wedding day process so smooth and stress free, and always get back to you in a timely manner. The venue itself is beautiful and the food is delicious with lots of options (we had a buffet style dinner). Our guests all raved about how great everything was and how friendly the staff were. My husband and I, recently got Married at Downingtown Country Club, and they were amazing throughout the entire process. Terri and her team are wonderful! They make the planning and wedding day process so smooth and stress free, and always get back to you in a timely manner. The venue itself is beautiful and the food is delicious with lots of options (we had a buffet style dinner). Our guests all raved about how great everything was and how friendly the staff were. You can look at a million different venues as we did and you find what is best for you, your budget, your style and your vibe, and when we walked in to Downingtown and saw all they had to offer it was a perfect fit for us. We got married on the beautiful September 1st, 2023 and it simply was our best day ever! Working with Terry and her amazing staff to make our day exactly what we wanted was seamless and they all molded around exactly what we wanted! It was the best experience and they made everything run a smooth as ever! That day we got thousands of compliments and we continue to~ on the beautiful location, the good food&drinks (taco bar, delicious dinner, chocolate indulgence room everyones favorite) and most of all a GREAT time had by all! Our day was filled with amazing family, friends, and the people who have made a difference in our life, and we are so happy that we shared that a Downingtown country club. I think one of the biggest and Amazing things for us was seeing our vision come to life with our bridal party of 35, having our ceremony outside and then the reception room, making it exactly what we wanted filled with disco balls and fun. Every single one of our guests enjoyed themselves, and I know that it was the perfect fit for us to have our day at Downingtown. We appreciate every single person at DCC who made our day so perfect and run absolutely seamless and we can only hope that you have just as a perfect day as we did at this amazing venue, Downingtown Country Club thank you for making our first day of forever the best!!!

I cannot sing the praises of DCC enough!!! We got married last Saturday and everything was perfect. From the time we took a tour about a year and a half ago to our wedding last week, Terri was available to answer any questions and help us with any little thing that popped up. We live about 2 hours from the venue, but she was very willing to work with us regarding planning meetings, tastings and other little things along the way! On the day of the event, Terri helped everything run super smooth. She made sure everything was where it needed to be, along with everyone knew what to do. Along with Terri, Kristi was AMAZINGLY helpful on that day. She drove us with our photographer around on the golf cart, made sure everyone was in the right place and assisted guests with where to go when they arrived early for the ceremony. She helped me take my veil off after the ceremony and really did just about anything we needed!! So many of our friends have told us that this is one of the best weddings they've ever been to and I largely attribute that to everyone and everything at the country club! Not only is it all beautiful, but it's well organized, the food is AMAZING and the chocolate room is such a fun experience for dessert! If you're looking for somewhere to have your wedding, look no further than the DCC and ask for Terri/Kristi to help you out!!!

Terri is amazing! From the initial phone consultation and throughout the planning process, she was a big factor in us choosing DCC. Her initial tour made us fall in love with the venue. What is included in the wedding package is extremely reasonable for the price. DCC truly made the day all about us. From our concierge who took us on the golf cart for photos and got us drinks/kept us on track, to the food itself (which is delicious), our day was perfect. We had a lot of dietary restrictions that were followed perfectly. Staff had great service, venue was clean and beautiful, and food was amazing. Especially with the new floors in the ballroom! The open bar was flowing all night and all of our decorations were put up exactly as we had asked. We highly recommend DCC as your wedding venue!

Downingtown Country Club was an incredible venue. Terri, Kristina and the rest of the staff were super helpful, professional, and kind from the time we booked this as our wedding venue all the way through the actual day of our wedding. Whenever we had any questions, they were always super responsive, and also were super flexible in scheduling things such as the tasting. For set-up, all we had to do was drop all of our signage, table numbers, etc. off at the venue when we went there for rehearsal and then they set up everything on the morning of our wedding. They also collected everything for us after the reception and allowed us to just pick it up late the next morning. We felt so taken care of and like we could just enjoy our day/night. The venue itself is beautiful with lots of flowers, especially since our wedding was in the summer. Kristina was extremely helpful with holding golfers while we were taking pictures with our bridal party, and her and Terri both made sure everyone knew where they were walking, standing, the order of both, etc. for the ceremony so it went really smoothly. We also had one of our best friends from college officiate our wedding and it was the first one he had ever done, but Terri was wonderful with easing his nerves and giving him all the confidence he needed to do such an incredible job on our big day. The cocktail hour and ceremony were both inside, but the set-up was still so gorgeous. They have an outdoor patio area that is open during the cocktail hour that our guests love. The food was delicious and we had so many people complimenting how good it was during and after the wedding. The staff did a wonderful job helping us keep up with our timeline of events for the ceremony so that we could get to all the dancing and fun on time. They also were quick to clean up any drinks or glasses that dropped or spilled keeping everyone safe to dance the night away.We cannot say enough good things about Downingtown Country Club along with Terri, Kristina and the rest of the staff. We truly couldn't have had a better experience at DCC for our wedding on 6/9/23. Terri is the absolute BEST. From the moment we inquired about a tour (a year and a half ago!) until our wedding day, she was kind, accommodating and detail oriented. She is so well versed in the wedding world and was able to help us make informed decisions. Her communication is excellent and she thoroughly answered every question we had. Kristi was FABULOUS the day of and was consistently checking in with us to ensure we were okay. She was SO kind and helpful!! Truly everything (even things we didn't think of) were covered and done- from the water station at our outdoor ceremony to picture locations on the golf cart. The drinks and food were amazing. Both the outdoor ceremony space and reception space were absolutely stunning. DCC took our vision and made it even better than we pictured it. They made wedding planning as stress free as possible and we cannot recommend them enough. We would choose DCC a thousand times over as our wedding venue! If you don’t book with Downingtown, you will HIGHLY regret it!!!I had my wedding there 6/3/23. From the moment we met Terri on our tour, we knew this was the place for us. As a same sex couple, she immediately made us feel comfortable. She was open about the flaws in the system, but honest and willing to adjust, change, adapt, and make things work for me and my wife. This was a huge difference from some places who tried to force us into a box we just don’t fit in. Immediately, we fell in LOVE with the bridal suite (which is absolutely gorgeous), the billiards room, the ceremony pergola with the waterfall, the beautiful ballroom and patio, and of course, THE CHOCOLATE ROOM. But truthfully, the best thing we learned is that the people running your venue can literally make or break your day. Terri was our superhero !! Throughout the entire process from tours to tastings to detail meetings, Terri was sweet, inviting, and happy to do anything that would make us happy! We also had our rehearsal dinner there - run by Kristi and went so smoothly. We had our dinner right after and our server Sadie was incredibly sweet, attentive, and kind to all our guests. She managed to serve 25 people quickly and the food was incredible!! (And affordable - which is super important when you’re paying for a wedding haha). On the day of our wedding, we were greeted by Becca, who was incredibly kind and patient. She helped set up literally ALL of our tens of thousands of boxes of decorations, and staff with her were working tirelessly. Oh.. AND! She helped me meet RON JAWORSKI HIMSELF!! Then of course comes Terri - even in the midst of some family things, she made us top priority. She was running around making sure everything was absolutely perfect for our day. Flash forward, our florist forgot to decorate our arch and Terri, in about 5 super fast minutes, comes out with another floral arrangement, runs around pulling our colored flowers, and creates a beautiful arch out of thin air. She literally saved the day! And of course, Kristi. Whatever they are paying this girl, it should probably be doubled. Kristi was like our silent hero. She left us alone when we needed it, but LITERALLY the second I needed something, I would turn around and there was Kristi, ready to make it happen. She helped me shoo off the super early guests (she makes a great but not very scary bouncer), she bustled BOTH of our super complex dresses in lightning speed cause nobody from our guests could figure it out, she kept us calm and reassured even when we were running behind on time, oh and she makes a pretty great golf cart driver for our picture time!! I actually don’t think I could sing her praises any more or this review would be a novel. In summary, Downingtown feels like home. In the most scary day of your life, you are surrounded by a beautiful but not intimidating venue, unbelievably kind humans, and the best staff you could find. (By the way, they turned over tables and reset the cocktail space like LIGHTNING. It was impressive to watch). Like I said, if you don’t pick Downingtown, I think you will highly regret that decision. It was the best choice we could have ever made. Our guests sung the praises of the food, the drinks, and the entire location. PS- pick the crab cakes. You won’t be sorry!

But truthfully, the best thing we learned is that the people running your venue can literally make or break your day. Terri was our superhero !! Throughout the entire process from tours to tastings to detail meetings, Terri was sweet, inviting, and happy to do anything that would make us happy! We also had our rehearsal dinner there - run by Kristi and went so smoothly. We had our dinner right after and our server Sadie was incredibly sweet, attentive, and kind to all our guests. She managed to serve 25 people quickly and the food was incredible!! (And affordable - which is super important when you’re paying for a wedding haha). On the day of our wedding, we were greeted by Becca, who was incredibly kind and patient. She helped set up literally ALL of our tens of thousands of boxes of decorations, and staff with her were working tirelessly. Oh.. AND! She helped me meet RON JAWORSKI HIMSELF!! Then of course comes Terri - even in the midst of some family things, she made us top priority. She was running around making sure everything was absolutely perfect for our day. Flash forward, our florist forgot to decorate our arch and Terri, in about 5 super fast minutes, comes out with another floral arrangement, runs around pulling our colored flowers, and creates a beautiful arch out of thin air. She literally saved the day! And of course, Kristi. Whatever they are paying this girl, it should probably be doubled. Kristi was like our silent hero. She left us alone when we needed it, but LITERALLY the second I needed something, I would turn around and there was Kristi, ready to make it happen. She helped me shoo off the super early guests (she makes a great but not very scary bouncer), she bustled BOTH of our super complex dresses in lightning speed cause nobody from our guests could figure it out, she kept us calm and reassured even when we were running behind on time, oh and she makes a pretty great golf cart driver for our picture time!! I actually don’t think I could sing her praises any more or this review would be a novel. In summary, Downingtown feels like home. In the most scary day of your life, you are surrounded by a beautiful but not intimidating venue, unbelievably kind humans, and the best staff you could find. (By the way, they turned over tables and reset the cocktail space like LIGHTNING. It was impressive to watch). Like I said, if you don’t pick Downingtown, I think you will highly regret that decision. It was the best choice we could have ever made. Our guests sung the praises of the food, the drinks, and the entire location. PS- pick the crab cakes. You won’t be sorry!

I cannot begin to express how wonderful our wedding day was at Downingtown Country Club! The whole planning process was seamless and easy. With every last minute change I had, they easily made it happen with no questions which truly helped my nerves leading up to the big day.The only 2 small complaints that I have was I felt communication the day of was not the best. My photographers were told that they were going to be setting up chairs for the ceremony so we could no longer continue taking pictures near the stones and waterfall, but then, the staff did not set them up for another 25 minutes which lead to messing up my timeline a bit and not getting all the pictures I wanted. Also, while watching our wedding ceremony video, during our vows, someone was taking out the trash and you could glass bottles hitting the trash can for about 15-20 seconds, which was not very professional.All in all, my husband and I loved our wedding day and our guests still talk about the beautiful venue and amazing food/ drinks.Thank you Downingtown Country Club!

Downingtown Country Club far exceeded our expectations for our wedding. We wanted to find a local venue that was all-inclusive. When originally looking for venues I was looking for smaller venues with lots of big fairy tale gardens. I came across Downingtown Country Club and my now husband insisted we had to see it. I was very hesitant because it was a golf course and that didn't interest me, but he convinced me by saying that the grounds would be kept immaculate which also meant no bugs. From the moment we set foot in the venue we knew that it was going to be our venue. Everyone there is so kind and informative. We started out working with Bridget and she was wonderful. Terri ended up taking over the position (Bridget still works there, just not as the coordinator) and the transition was seamless. Terri was super flexible in working with our schedules for our tasting/appointments, and always reassured us about any of our anxieties/concerns. She worked with us to make sure our ceremony/reception were customized entirely to what WE wanted and that the packets were just guidelines to work from. She gave us tips of things to/not to do from her experience. We had a signature cocktail, which is a cocktail I had at another restaurant and love, but also had sentiment to me (I know that sounds weird to say about a drink), and the bartenders perfected it.. it was actually better than the other one. All of the food was great, too. One of our appetizers during our cocktail hour was the stuffed mushrooms. I was very skeptical because my mom makes the best stuffed mushrooms and Downingtown's were just as good as the ones my mom made. The coconut shrimp was also amazing, which I'm very picky about. Terri did a rehearsal with us the night before our wedding and relieved any anxieties I was having. The next morning when we arrived at the venue to begin getting ready Amber was there to help my bridesmaids and me with anything we needed. I could go on and on about every little detail that perfected our day. So many people have told us that it was the best wedding they've been to and how much fun it was. Thank you SO much to everyone at Downingtown who made our day the best day ever.

From the moment we walked into the door for our tour until the very end of our wedding reception, Terri, Amber, and the rest of the staff were so incredibly nice, accommodating, and friendly! The team at Downingtown Country Club is extremely attentive and generous to ensure that you have the best day/event. They take care of every detail and provide connections to amazing vendors to make the process even easier. Beyond the wonderful partnership with the staff, the setting and food were highly complimented by our guests. Our only suggestion, if you want the gardening to be in full bloom for an outside ceremony, is to hold your wedding between May-Oct.

My husband and I loved working with Downingtown! Our day went so smoothly and perfect! Everyone was fantastic to work with, were quick to respond to emails/calls, and were there for us every step of the way. The food and drinks were delicious, and we received a ton of compliments on them and on the friendliness of the staff. The base package is more than you get with other venues for a great price! We would recommend planning your event with Downingtown!

Huge thank you to Bridget, Terri, Amber & the entire Downingtown Country Club team. We started working with Bridget in early 2020, before chaos struck. She was amazing with the breakdown of the wedding event process and setting up our tasting! The wedding was moved at the end of Summer to 2021 and Bridget made this the easiest, least stressful process! Her emails were sincere and presented us with all the options possible. Our wedding was very Fall/Halloween detailed, and Terri was an absolute angel with every email and meeting. She worked with our vision and made the special day come to life! Amber is the best day of right hand man, anyone could ask for- she was right there at any given moment. We took pictures around the golf course and Amber guided us to the perfect picture locations! If you have a bustle issue... not to worry Terri & Amber are there to help! I would not ask for a better team to ensure your day is absolutely perfect!

BEST DAY, BEST VENUE. We got married on New Years Eve 2021. We started our wedding planning early in 2020, and we postponed to 2021 due to the thorn in everyone’s side. Covid. Terri was introduced to us during the summer of 2021 and she is excellent. We cannot rave about her enough. Along with Terri, we also had the assistance of Amber who is also wonderful. The last few weeks were pretty hectic with the holidays and the constant threat of Covid, but Terri provided such great assistance and even reassurance that our day would be absolutely perfect and it was. The day of the wedding my bridesmaids, the moms and I took over the whole top floor where the bridal suite is located. There’s a fridge up there already loaded with drinks and we of course brought some extra snacks and champagne. We had plenty of space between the 9 of us and the 4 members of the hair and make-up team. The boys were on the other side of the venue getting ready and they had access to the billiard room, which provides a nice photo op as well. The DCC kept their Christmas decorations up which provided a nice backdrop for photos and it just felt cozy and wintery, which was a look I was personally going for. Amber drove me to our first look in a golf cart and she continued to drive us and the photographer around the course as we took pictures. I really appreciated that, less wear and tear on my dress and feet.Our ceremony was inside and everyone fit comfortably. We had quite a large wedding ( almost 200 guests) and no one felt like they were overcrowded with people. The area that holds cocktail hour looks small and narrow, but there was plenty of room to move around everyone. We had 2-3 bars for our cocktail hour and the food for cocktail hour and dinner was delish. There are so many great options to choose from as well, I don’t think you could go wrong with anything.We had fireworks at our wedding too, we viewed them from the back of the patio! It was from an outside vendor, but they also coordinated with DCC to make sure all went as planned.The day of the wedding, everything went so smoothly. We’re so happy we chose DCC to hold our wedding, it checked every box for our needs and our wants. From Terri to the waitstaff everyone was amazing. I wish we could relive it again. We will definitely return to the Seven Tap Tavern as well and reminisce about our most perfect day!Thank you Downingtown Country Club!

Let me preface this review by saying I was the worst, out-of-town bride. I am very go-with-the-flow and wasn't too stressed out with the planning process. Amber and Terri are two angels on Earth. They need raises. I started a new job during the process of wedding planning, and they made sure I was up to date with all of my \"wedding homework\". They were able to get our tasting squeezed in on a weekend we were in the area (we live 3 hours away). They made sure we had our vendors in line and had suggestions for vendors if we needed them (which we did). Part of our wedding party was able to make the rehearsal due to travel, but Terri and Amber made it work. They were so attentive on our wedding day. The champagne was flowing all morning while the girls got ready. I'm scared to even ask the guys how their \"getting ready\" process went, but I know they had fun, too. We were a rowdy crew. It was FREEZING while we took our formal photos before the ceremony and Amber made sure to bring me some much-needed adult beverages to keep my nerves down (and to keep me warmed up). This angel took the coat off her literal back to warm me up. We were greeted with champagne post-ceremony with our bridal party and parents to have a \"we did it\" moment before cocktail hour. These fabulous ladies made sure we ate and always had a drink in our hand/at our table. We've had SO many positive reviews of the food. Some say it was the best wedding food they've ever had. We had SO much fun. I want to do it again. I don't intend on having another wedding, but if I did, I would choose DCC. Thank you DCC for the most magical night of our lives <3

Our wedding at Downingtown Country Club was everything we had ever hoped and dreamed it would be! We booked the venue in 2019 for 2020, but the venue worked with us to move the wedding to 2021 and it was absolutely worth the wait! Every single detail was though of and done for us. The bridal suit with champagne and snacks was perfect for getting ready. The grounds of the course are so beautiful and made for some gorgeous photos. Our family and friends have not stopped telling us about how much fun they had at our reception and how great cocktail hour was. Every person working there made sure our day was perfect, and it truly was.

The best decision we made when planning our wedding was choosing this venue. If you have the opportunity to book your wedding with Downingtown, do it. I was completely clueless going into this planning process and Terri guided us every step of the way. Amber and Terri were absolutely wonderful the day of the wedding and made sure we had everything and anything we possibly needed. I am still hearing compliments from our guests about the food and how beautiful the venue itself is. Although it rained and our ceremony was inside, they planned for both indoor and outdoor and made us feel supported and prepared for any experience. We truly are so grateful for everything they did for us and we would HIGHLY recommend them as venue!! Everyone at our wedding loved the food, the atmosphere, and the location itself!! The food was amazing! 10/10 recommend them to anyone!! We could not imagine our wedding anywhere else.

Downingtown Country Club was AMAZING!!!! Terri was so helpful throughout the entire planning process and she guided me in ways I wouldn't have even thought of. I truly had the BEST day of my life and Amber left no stone unturned throughout the day. I was truly impressed by how attentive, on-the-ball, sweet, and patient she was (My wedding party was large and might have been a little difficult to handle). The entire day ran so much more smooth than I could have ever imagined or planned for. I'm so so happy I had my wedding at DCC. It truly is a beautiful venue and everyone still mentions how much they loved their meal. I had searched high and low for a good wedding venue, and I'm so happy that I can say I successfully found it.

During the wedding day, they were always right there to accommodate anything our bridal party needed. The space itself was beautiful and they went above and beyond to make our guests feel safe. The team at Downingtown Country Club is AMAZING! My husband and I started our journey with them in 2019, and we then had to reschedule our wedding from 2020 to 2021 due to COVID. The team was so easy to work with and made the process of changing dates a breeze! Bridget, Terri and Amber were so easy to work with and made all of our dreams come true for our wedding! Terri was amazing in the planning process and Amber was always close on the day of the our wedding to get my husband and I anything we may have wanted. The food was delicious and the Chocolate Room was a favorite of our guests! The grounds at the country club are STUNNING and we loved that we were able to travel around the golf course to get our pictures done. Highly recommend this amazing venue!

The team at Downingtown Country Club is AMAZING! My husband and I started our journey with them in 2019, and we then had to reschedule our wedding from 2020 to 2021 due to COVID. The team was so easy to work with and made the process of changing dates a breeze! Bridget, Terri and Amber were so easy to work with and made all of our dreams come true for our wedding! Terri was amazing in the planning process and Amber was always close on the day of the our wedding to get my husband and I anything we may have wanted. The food was delicious and the Chocolate Room was a favorite of our guests! The grounds at the country club are STUNNING and we loved that we were able to travel around the golf course to get our pictures done. Highly recommend this amazing venue!

I may be biased but our wedding was the BEST wedding I’ve ever attended! :) It was so stress free, dreamy, beautiful and fun!I have so many positive words to say about the venue, I could go on for days but I can’t leave that long of a review here (lol).Wedding planning came easy after we booked our venue, because they made it that way. I searched and called over 2 dozen vendors in the tri-county area and didn’t schedule showings based off the fact I’d have to sell my kidney on the black market to afford a decent wedding. I eventually came across DCC and it was our 2nd venue we toured. We were immediately impressed with the staff, grounds and it fit within our budget.We had to postpone our wedding due to Covid and DCC was incredibly understanding and made it easy for us to do with no issues - as if we never had to change the date to begin with. They kept us up to date with all the changes and requirements that were mandated to help us make an informed decision on how we wanted to proceed with our wedding. You really do get a lot of bang for your buck here when you factor in all the things that typically get missed during initial wedding planning (linens, center pieces, candles, sign stands, cake, etc.), which are all included in the cost!They have a lovely bridal suite for the ladies to get ready in with complementary light snacks and mimosas. The men had a room to get ready in and enjoy some rounds of pool on the other side of the building to keep the bride/groom separate from seeing each other. We dealt with many of the staff members since day 1 and all of them were incredible; a very seamless transition. They made our day very EASY and stress free. Terri and Amber were awesome to work with day of and Bridget was also very accommodating. Amber was attentive and took care of my MOH’s daughter while we were getting pictures, etc. Terri was such a pleasure to meet and work with day of (I never met her prior as I moved out of state when we postponed our wedding).The food was AMAZING. I never had wedding food taste this good. Heck, even some restaurant food doesn’t taste this good. I had the macaroni and cheese bar with 5 Hors d'oeuvres - all were awesome! For dinner, we had the Chicken Saltimbocca (very flavorful and JUICY) and Filet Mignon, which was cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth like butter. ALL of my guests are still raving about how awesome the food was and honestly, I am too. There was plenty of champagne and the chocolate indulgence room was an extra added bonus to enjoy with our cake and it was a hit (and included with the cost!).They have a large ceremony area beside a beautiful waterfall and a large pergola to decorate with sheer fabric and flowers if you desire (we had a local florist do this); but it’s just as beautiful as is. We were able to have a live, 5 piece dueling piano band, photo booth and an awesome sparkler send off to end the night. The grounds are beautiful filled with many, colorful flowers, luscious green grass, and beautiful buildings as a back drop to capture the most beautiful pictures you could ever dream of. I would, without a doubt, 110%+ recommend DCC for your wedding ceremony and reception venue. Food is amazing, grounds are beautiful, and the staff will most certainly go above and beyond to make your planning and wedding day a breeze. Thank you DCC for your exceptional service and I wish many years of great success.

WOW! They were so amazing throughout the whole process of my wedding. My husband and I were supposed to get married April 2020 but then had to reschedule five times. Each time they were so easy and awesome to work with. We started of with Kerry then had Bridget. The day of we worked with Terri, Amber, and Sadie! Let me tell you, you would have never known we switched people over because they made it so easy and stress free. The food was so good. We had a pasta station and 8 different butlered hors d'Oeuvre at cocktail hour. We did the signature salad with Steak and Chicken Marsala for dinner. Then had our cake and cupcakes, a whole bunch of yummy chocolate treats and ice cream for dessert. Then we had a fry and cheesesteak station to end the night. It was all so amazing. It started to rain really hard 40 minutes before our ceremony (which was supposed to be outside) and Terri and the team VERY quickly were able to move it inside and we STILL started on time!! I highly recommend Downingtown for your wedding!!

We just celebrated our wedding here yesterday and it was the best experience we could have ever hoped for. A lot of credit for that going to this venue and all the staff that work here. The grounds are stunning,, so many picture opportunities both inside and outside.. Bridget was such a joy to work with, and she is a big reason why the planning process was so stress free and easy. During these uncertain times Bridget did everything in her power to work with us to help us have a wedding we could only dream about. The day of, we met Amber who was like our right hand women for the day and she was an angel! The food was beyond amazing, we had the buffet style and all our guest raved about was how amazing the food was, so thank you to the chef! Every last one of their staff helped us make this night a night to remember. They were all so helpful in every way possible and they all did a great job making sure we were all safe.

Our wedding day was so special because of our venue, Downingtown Country Club. I wish I had good things to say, because I was really excited about this venue! It was at the top of my list when we were looking for places to tour. However, my fiancé and I went today and it was very awkward and unprofessional. During the tour, Bridget left us twice to handle other things. The second time she left us for over 5 minutes standing in a ballroom with an event that was finishing up and staff were starting to clean up, so we decided to leave. Maybe she was overworked and didn’t have the help she needs. I can’t speak on how it would be to have a wedding there, but that experience completely ruined it for us!

For a long time we were on the fence about postponing because of COVID or moving forward, and every step of the way, they were there to help. Super responsive, understanding, and accommodating, they could not have done a better job! When we decided to move forward, they did everything to make sure things went smoothly and worked with us to tweak our package after we had to make changes in the last two weeks before the event. Bridget and the staff were absolutely wonderful, attentive, and overall the best service I've seen at a wedding (and I'm not just saying that because it was mine!). The food was incredible, from the appetizers to the main course and desserts. I could go on - and will definitely be sure to recommend them to anyone getting married in the area!

I cannot say enough positive things about Downingtown Country Club. From the moment we walked into the venue for a tour we knew we would be taken care of. If we asked about adding something the answer was always, we can do that. Christina helped us through the entire process and made it SO much less stressful. She answered all my questions, and always assured me they had it all under control. And they did! The day of went so smoothly. When we walked into the ballroom to see it before our guests I was blown away with how great it looked. She took my limited direction and the decorations I brought and they made it look truly amazing. The food is excellent and the whole package they offer can’t be beaten. We didn’t have to worry about anything the day of, it was just handled. While getting pictures on the golf course, a pin that meant a lot to me fell off my bouquet. Several people from the country club looked for it but couldn’t find it. They told me they’d keep looking, but I thought it was gone. A few days after the wedding I got a message from Christina that they had found it! It meant a lot that people kept their eye out for something that meant so much. I cannot say enough how positive our experience was. Thank you DCC!

I couldn't have asked for a better day. My husband and I had toured a number of venues before we went to Downingtown Country Club. I never considered myself the \"Country Club\" kind of gal, but when I started reading the reviews, I kept seeing \"Kerry was amazing!\" and \"Kerry and her team were so responsive and made it all run so smoothly!\" and it made me want to find out more. The venue was simple and elegant (beautiful new floors and chairs!) and ready to be made whatever you wanted it to be. What was mind-blowing was the service. We definitely understood why every review mentioned this \"Kerry.\" She was truly the most integral part of our experience. I can't adequately express how crucial it is to have a solid point person who knows what she's doing, remains calm and collected, and who keeps you on track when you definitely have no idea what to do next. Kerry walked us through the unknown step by step. She helped us with recommendations, with narrowing down options, and with helping guide us with a timeline of \"who you should probably contact first and what to have nailed down early on.\" She communicated every detail to us, let us know what to expect and when, and truly made this the most painless experience I could have imagined. The actual day was SEAMLESS. Our vendors had no issues getting set up (cake, florist, DJ, etc.) and we were able to drop our decorations off a few days ahead of time (I put my visions in Kerry's hands and she delievered flawlessly). The entire staff was attentive, accommodating, and made sure we didn't want for anything. There was an amazing spread of food and snacks in the bridal suite for everyone, the transition from our ceremony (which we decided to do indoors because of the heat) to the cocktail hour to the reception was so easy, and the food was delicious. Kerry even helped us test out our set-up for our GoPros that we used for filming our ceremony and made sure we were completely satisfied. It seriously means the world when someone embraces your crazy visions right along with you and works hard to make them happen!Seriously every aspect was so smooth, food allergies were accommodated, the dessert spread was great, and the late night cheesesteaks and fries were a huge hit. Packing up and leaving was easy also- the staff had packed up our decorations and gifts/cards and brought them out to my parent's cars for us so that everything was safe and loaded and we weren't scrambling at the end of the night.I know this is a crazy long review, but when you spend so much time and money on an event, it means so much to hear from your bridal party, family and guests that they had the same great experience that we did- that the staff was kind and attentive, that they were helpful and organized, and that the logistics flowed and felt like it all was happening according to plan. We are so thankful to Kerry and everyone at Downingtown Country Club for such an incredible experience. I would recommend them over and over again!

If you are looking for a stress free experience. Downingtown Country Club is the place! Kerry Connors made my wedding experience a breeze! Kerry & her team are amazing, not only was she great to me but also my guest. My guest were so pleased with how helpful she was. Kerry made sure everything i wanted for my wedding day was perfect. From day 1 when i met with her she always made it a point that it is whatever I wanted- I just needed to tell her what I had in mind and she would make it happen. Downingtown Country Club was the perfect setting for multicultural wedding. I am so happy Kerry was able to work with me on making my wedding PERFECT!

I would give this 10 stars if I could. We had the absolute best experience with this venue and with their unbelievably kind and accommodating staff. When I first started looking at wedding venues, I was overwhelmed. But all that changed the first time I spoke to Kerry Connors from the Downingtown Country Club. Kerry, at every step of the way, made me feel like her most important bride. She offered insight when I needed it but also never batted an eye on anything I wanted that was not traditional. Every little detail was perfect and exactly what I asked for. On top of having Kerry who was an absolute dream, the venue itself is gorgeous. They did a renovation recently and everything is beautiful. The outdoor space created stunning pictures for our ceremony and who doesn't want to be driven to the aisle in a golf cart?! I have been told my multiple people that the food was the best that they ever had at a wedding. We had a chocolate indulgence room that was so spectacular that my four year old room got misty eyed when I first took her in there. Plus, the wrap around porch with fire pits was perfect for our cocktail hour. I could write forever about this venue. If you are looking for a place, you need to go check out the Downingtown Country Club--- and ask for Kerry!

The Downingtown Country Club was an amazing place for our wedding ! the big open golf course is BEAUTIFUL for pictures & the staff is even better ! I adored the suites , the bridal party could hang out all day , get ready & pampered ! Hair & Makeup come to you which makes brides days soo much less stressful !! The grooms suite has a pool table which is great prop for photos & so you know the groom won’t be late lol . Our consultant Christina was the bomb.com (LOL) she answered all our questions & more ! I would text her ideas or questions late at night when she wasn’t working & she would still be on top of everything & answer right away ! She was a main person who made my dream wedding come to life ! If I had to do it all over again , (which I want to relive it) I would choose her & downingtown all over again & again ! The food was delicious ! We had so many compliments about it ! We also were told our wedding & venue was the best that people have been to in a long time !!

Besides the delicious food, wonderful accommodations and inclusions, it came with Kerry Connors, the best wedding coordinator we could have asked for. Kerry truly made our entire experience with DCC remarkable and a day we will cherish forever. Kerry is the sole reason we ended up choosing DCC- she set the standard and made DCC stand out amongst the rest. Her personality, generosity, responsiveness, flexibility and warm nature is what makes DCC. Truly, Kerry did all the guess work for us on that day and we couldn’t be more thankful to her.

We just had our NYE wedding at DCC and loved every minute of it! Christina was our wedding coordinator and she did an amazing job from day 1 to the day of, making sure things were correct, questions were answered and we were stress free (if that's even possible while planning a wedding) :) The day of the wedding, our bridal party was treated like VIPs!! DCC provided light snacks in the morning while the girls were getting ready, they got us lunch in the afternoon & we were served drinks all day. Our bridal attendant the day of was Madison and she was sooo great! Her and Christina even made me a flower bouquet (which looked professional by the way) at around 2 pm when my flowers had not arrived yet and my first look was about to begin. It was so sweet of them but luckily the flowers came about 30 min later! Our food was phenomenal! We got tons of compliments on our appetizers during cocktail hour as well as our dinners we served during the reception (2 favorites were the Chicken Florentine entree & the tortellini at the pasta station during cocktail hour).The decor at the venue was absolutely perfect with our black/silver/gold color theme. The big Christmas tree in the foyer looked like it was decorated for the wedding. I would definitely recommend a wedding at DCC around the holidays because the space was decorated so beautifully! The best part of the decor was when Christina texted me a couple days before the wedding and told me that their brand new chivari chairs had come in and we would be the first wedding using them! The chairs really made a difference in the ballroom! A few more highlights of the day - Rob the bartender, our ball drop after party in the Seven Taps Tavern (DCC allowed us to rent out the space from 11 pm - 1 am), the venue grounds were perfect for pictures (even in the rain), dance floor was big, etc. etc. I could go on and on lol ... I wouldn't change anything about my DCC wedding! Pick this venue... you wont' regret it!

The staff and our wedding coordinator were amazing and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. The day went absolutely perfectly and we were so relaxed. Kerry Connors, the Wedding Manager at DCC, was my right hand. I trusted her and she took care of everything for us and we could not thank her enough. I always thought I didn't want a country club wedding, but DCC was so much more and we will be forever grateful to the team for making our day amazing.

Last year before setting a date for our wedding we began looking at venues in the greater Philadelphia Area, the majority of them being country clubs but a few other types of venues as well. We looked at over 12-15 venues before choosing the Downingtown Country Club. Nowhere other than the Downingtown Country Club (DCC) will you find quality of service, affordability, and most importantly a beautiful and well cared for venue. Another factor that made Downingtown Country Club stand out among other venues in the area was the staff’s professionalism and promptness to respond to any and all questions. Throughout the wedding planning process I worked with Kerry Connors, who is anything short of incredible at her job. She truly went above and beyond catering to any requests I had. I was planning my wedding out of state, which definitely makes the planning process all the more hectic, but Kerry was extremely accommodating making sure to promptly answer all questions and concerns and provided support and reassurance along the way. The menu and food at DCC was another one of many reasons we decided to go with this venue- our deepest compliments to Chef Brad who did an outstanding job on the food at our wedding, we receive compliments time and time again on the quality, presentation, and deliciousness of the food throughout and well after our reception. Another aspect that made me confident that I wanted to go with DCC was their all-encompassing services; we were able to have our ceremony and reception all in one location which eliminated the need for our guests to concern themselves with transportation from one location to another, the bridal and grooms suite on-site which allowed for myself and our bridal party to get ready directly before the ceremony took place which meant not having to worry about getting my makeup and hair done earlier in the morning and the potential for it to wear off later in the day, and the packages offered at DCC included our own custom cake and floral services from our choice of three outstanding local bakeries/ florist, which meant that we could rest easy knowing that DCC worked directly with other trusted vendors to make the some of the most significant parts of the planning process (deciding on cake flavors, design, floral center pieces and types of flowers) straightforward and painless. DCC also offered a preferred list of vendors (photographers, DJ, and such), which helped me to simplify the search and vetting process of outside vendors. On the day of our wedding we had a personal attendant who was there to accommodate us in any ways we needed as well as making sure everything went according to plan and we were on schedule (something that is very difficult to do when you are a bride and get caught up talking with family and friends). Travis and I cannot thank the staff at DCC for their support and dedication to ensure that everything was perfect and just as we envisioned on our wedding day!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Downingtown Country Club on 5/19/18 and to say they did an amazing job would be a complete understatement. To be honest, DCC wasn't the top of our list for reception venues. After a visit to another venue that left us disappointed, we went to DCC to check it out. From the moment we walked through the doors and met Kerry and Joe, we were sold. Kerry is the most down-to-earth and caring person and Joe is just the same. They whole-heartedly cared about us and helping us make our special day exactly how we wanted it. Kerry was with us each step of the way (even through her maternity leave!!). Joe was always there to help us out or to walk us through whatever questions we had. Kerry was so flexible with meeting dates and times and would meet with us whenever we needed, no matter how late in the evening. On the day of, Kerry was by my side, making sure each and every detail was perfect and making sure all of me and my girls needs were met while we were getting ready. I cannot express the gratitude my husband and I have for everyone at DCC. They are a top notch group of people that genuinely care about you and your special day. I would highly recommend them to anyone who asks! Heck, if we could do it all again, they would be my first choice for sure!

I would highly recommend them to anyone who asks! Heck, if we could do it all again, they would be my first choice for sure!

Kerry was so helpful through the entire wedding planning process and was there for every step during the planning and any questions. She was always there when I needed her. The rest of the staff was super helpful throughout the entire day! The venue was beautiful and everything that I asked for they made come true. It was magical and perfect and I'm so happy with Downingtown!

I just wanted to Thank Kerry Collins for the amazing job she did in making my wedding reception a truly once in a life time memory. From the first meeting to the day of the wedding Kerry was always there to answer all my questions, and there were many, to getting the dance floor size right for our first dance, to the food, thecroom layout, etc. She had an assistant with us all day helping us with getting ready for pictures,and guiding the photographer to the best locations, to hopping in the limo to the church and back to the Downingtown CC for more pictures, to the cocktail hour ,dinner and dancing. Everything was just amazing and perfect. My guests are still talking about how much fun and beautiful the wedding reception was. I would not hesitate to do it all over again with Kerry. I felt pampered all day and the service and attention to detail was superb!

I am so happy I went with the Downingtown country club. Kerry and he whole wedding/event staff team made my day more perfect than I could have every imagined. I planned everything very early and when it got close the little things were piling up. I met with Kerry multiple times to confirm things and she mad everything so easy. On the day she was here all day setting things up making sure everything was In order. I don’t know that my wedding day would have been the same without her help and coordination!

I don’t even know where to begin with the Downingtown Country Club. First of all, the most obvious thing is its beautiful location and grounds. It makes for such a perfect setting for a wedding, both inside and outside. Christina and Kerry were wonderful to work with throughout our entire engagement and leading up to the wedding. They answered any question we had at any point and always made us feel comfortable and calm. They were also so accommodating with any crazy idea or decoration I had in my head throughout the whole process and set it all up exactly how I wanted it.For our wedding on September 8th, things got a little hectic on my end, but only because the weather was uncooperative – no two weather reports were the same that morning, one calling for rain during the ceremony and another for nothing until later in the evening. Two hours before the scheduled ceremony time, Christina asked me to make the final decision, and we moved the ceremony inside and the entire staff worked miracles to get the entire thing set-up in such a short time. And I really mean that it looked like they pulled every single person who was working at the country club that day to make sure it was perfect before the first guest arrived. My personal attendant Downingtown provided, Leigh Ann, was just beyond amazing. I didn’t have a chance to want anything because she had it for me before I even realized I needed it, including food, drinks, and more. She went around with us for the pictures to make sure my dress looked perfect in every shot, and even got down on her hands and knees to wash some of the mud that had gotten on my dress while doing the outside photos. I really can’t express my gratitude for everything she did for myself, my now-husband, my wedding party, and even my parents.The food at Downingtown was spectacular, and all my guests raved about it (and continue to two weeks later). The entire atmosphere and the wedding itself was just perfect. It was everything I could have hoped for and more. If we had the option to re-do our wedding, I would pass because there is nothing I would change about it. Downingtown Country Club is, to put it simply, a WONDERFUL and PERFECT place to have a wedding.

My husband and I knew right away that Downingtown Country Club was going to be the venue were we would celebrate our marriage. We visited probably about 12 venues prior to going to Downingtown and when I saw the look on my husbands face when we visited I knew it was going to be the one. From the moment that we met Kerry, the wedding coordinator, we were instantly captivated and decided to have our wedding at the country club. Kerry and her team worked with us to make sure it met our budget criteria. Not only that, Kerry gave me the time to sit down with her and work out all the kinks I was not able to figure out on my own. She was simply fantastic through the entire process! The day of our wedding Kerry and her team were prepared for our arrival and made sure everything went super smooth. It allowed for my husband and I not to worry about a thing. Our guests raved about the FOOD and the wonderful atmosphere that was created. The grounds also allowed for us to take wonderful pictures with out photographers! I would highly recommend Downingtown Country club to any newly engaged couple to make sure you check it out!

It was a pleasure working with Kerry and Sharon. They were fantastic and I would highly recommend anyone to work with either of them at Downingtown Country Club. All the planning and details up to the wedding were handled perfectly and I couldn't ask for a better wedding vendor coordinator. Everything turned out perfect.During the reception I was left in good hands. Madison was fantastic. She was on top of everything and very professional. The rest of the staff that night was amazing and the did a fantastic job. The food was delicious. I have only heard compliments about all the food for the chef. People are still talking about the mash potato martini bar. Downingtown Country Club really knows how to put on a wedding and I would highly recommend them for any event. Her knowledge, expertise and kindness drew us in immediately as well as her and her management’s willingness to work with our every need. Sharon, our day of coordinator, was with us every single step of the way. We had our wedding at Downingtown Country Club on 9/15/17, and we are extremely happy that we picked this venue for our special day. We worked with Kerry and Sharon, the wedding coordinators at DCC, and they were wonderful from start to finish, especially during those moments when I would ask them a ton of questions :) They didn't mind at all, and were very happy to listen and answer every single one of them. When we booked DCC, they were working on some updates to the ballroom and outdoor ceremony area. The updates look fantastic, and it has more of a modern look to it. They were very open with us about all of the updates and painted a picture in our minds of how everything would look. They seemed really excited about the updates, which made us feel even better about booking without everything being finished.Everything on the day of the wedding went very smoothly. We got so many compliments from our guests on many things about the venue: how beautiful it was, how delicious all of the food was, how awesome the bartenders were, etc. They really took care of the wedding party and the guests. And the chocolate room!! That was a big hit :) We entrusted the folks at DCC with figuring out where our decorations should go. The bride and groom definitely have the option to tell them where they want everything to be, but I didn't want to think about it at that point (I was just ready to get married). I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! They made everything look so elegant, and it all looked absolutely perfect. And Sharon had some great ideas and solutions to any issues I was facing (i.e. a round table wasn't big enough to fit all of the wedding party and significant others, and she suggested a King's table instead of trying to split the party between 2 rounds).There were only a couple of little things that I can really nit-pick about:The bridal suite and the ballroom felt on the warmer side. They had the AC in the ballroom as low as it could go, so it was definitely due to the number of guests we had. And all of our guests were up on the dance floor all night, so that probably added to it.At the end of the night, there was a TON of cake left. The groom and I had mentioned that we were running back to the hotel to get changed and then would be back to pick up decorations and any leftover food. When we got back to the venue about 30 minutes later, they had thrown out all of the cake, which I was really bummed about because I hadn't gotten a chance to have any at the reception (besides the one bite when we cut the cake). They reached out to us afterward and told us that they were sincerely sorry for this and that they were ordering us a small cake from our vendor to enjoy. Definitely super impressed and appreciative of this kind gesture!Overall, our experience with Downingtown Country Club was excellent. We are extremely happy with our choice :) We absolutely recommend them for your wedding!!

I will forever be grateful for the hard work that they put in to make my day special. THIS IS THE PLACE TO GET MARRIED! I had a wedding of about 120 guests and the venue was absolutely perfect. So elegant, everyone loved it! Thank you again for everything <3

We just got married here at DCC last weekend, and wow!!! DCC is the best venue you could ever ask for. Kerry Connors and Sharon Hegney are the best at their job. They are there for you throughout the entire process. If you have any questions, they are willing to answer immediately. The food, drinks and ballroom were simply amazing!! So many compliments. My husband and I wanted to have our own Disney fairytale wedding and DCC was willing to let our dreams come true. I cannot say enough good things about this venue. If you are looking for a venue, definitely consider DCC!
