Holy Moly I DONT EVEN KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN. My wedding was 2 days ago and I NEEDED to do review this now. This wedding, was everything and more. I worked with Tammy Blachuciak for 20 months planning this wedding. I told her my vision and how I wanted a Winter Wonderland theme and for everything to look ICY. When I tell you, I cried, literally sobbed, when I saw my room. It was the most spectacular thing I have ever seen in my life. It literally took my breath away. Tammy has worked so hard to make my dreams come true! I had so many changes and so many extra things I wanted to do, and she pulled it off with ease and grace! This woman brought my dream to life. If you ever EVER double thinking using this venue; DO IT. The FOOD was amazing and tasted just like it did at the tasting. The service was impeccable! I’m telling you right now; Drury Lane is the best place to have your event. AND when you do book this place, request Tammy. SHE IS PHENOMENAL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for everything Tammy!!!!

Our coordinator Megan was amazing! The assistance in planning and service she provided was absolutely 5 star. The event space is beautiful and somewhat iconic if you grew up in the area. The Crystal Room 100% fit the vibe and theme of our wedding. They were very accommodating with us bringing in our own centerpieces and worked well with our other vendors. The food was great not your typical \"banquet food\" by far and the presentation was beautiful. Where they missed the mark just a little was the execution of after dinner service and \"clean up\". As the bride and groom if we did not have a wedding planner we feel we may not have gotten the attention we did, she checked in more than the servers. Maybe the banquet staff felt they could leave some tasks to her? Guests mentioned they felt rushed after dinner, with drinks including water being taken away any time they stepped away from the table to dance or go to the bathroom. They then would need to go to the bar for another. We had ordered the nacho bar that came out around 10:30. Later when some raved about this others reported it was not refilled and they did not get any. We know by 11:00pm several of our guest had left so I am unsure how there was not enough for the ones that were there when the amount was based on our final count. We chose to end the DJ early because the crowd was thinning but then felt rushed to leave to room when we had it until 12:00. With the after bar area reserved starting at 12:00 some of our guests were left roaming in main the lobby until the bar lights came on at 12:00. It was an awkward 20 minutes or so. When the bar opened up we did fill the space with 30-40 guests who stayed almost the whole extra 2 hours. So that was worth the extra amount spent on the deposit. Overall we had a great time, and a good experience. Our guests are still talking about the beautiful reception and great food. Megan even helped after the event with an issue we had at the hotel we stayed at as part of the package. We would hold another event there and would recommend it to others.

I had my wedding at Drury Lane in September and it was everything I had dreamed of and more! Drury Lane is the most beautiful backdrop for an elegant and romantic wedding. The giant glass chandeliers are breathtaking and the food and service was amazing. We got so many compliments about how wonderful and timeless our wedding was from guests. Tammy was great to work with and always very communicative throughout the entire process! Highly recommend Drury Lane for a gorgeous wedding venue.

I had my wedding at Drury Lane in September and it was everything I had dreamed of and more! Drury Lane is the most beautiful backdrop for an elegant and romantic wedding. Drury Lane was a 5 star wedding reception venue! We worked with Megan who was incredibly helpful, detail oriented, and made our wedding day stress free. Any questions we had she was able to answer and very prompt to get back to us through email or phone call. The food at Drury Lane is delicious and the wait staff was fabulous. The set up of our wedding was beautiful and staff was very helpful in assisting us gather our belongings at the end of the night as well. I would highly recommend Drury Lane for anyone looking for a wedding reception venue in the Oakbrook area!

Drury Lane was a 5 star wedding reception venue! We worked with Megan who was incredibly helpful, detail oriented, and made our wedding day stress free. Any questions we had she was able to answer and very prompt to get back to us through email or phone call. The food at Drury Lane is delicious and the wait staff was fabulous. We had the opportunity to be at Drury Lane in August '22 for my son's wedding (450 guests) and on September 02, 2023 for my daughter's engagement (515 guests). Working with Tammy was a delight. Her commitment to excellence and attention to details is commendable. We looked at 7 other venues and chose Drury lane because of the ambience, location, easy access and the amenities it provided. Tammy B was an absolute delight to work with and went beyond our expectations. The food was excellent and everything went flawless from start to finish. Tammy was more than willing to accommodate all our special needs . I have referred several of my friends to Drury lane. Thank you Tammy for all you have done. Tammy goes above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of. From the initial meetings to the day of the reception. Drury lane is beautiful, the food is great and the attention to details is second to none. Guests kept praising how good the food was and how beautiful the venue is , we had the crystal ballroom and enjoyed every second of it . Tammy is super accommodating and flexible . Drury Lane went above and beyond our expectations giving us the absolute perfect wedding reception. Working with Tammy was wonderful, she was very knowledgeable and communicative throughout the entire process. We had THE BEST experience having our wedding here! I've always adored the Drury Lane growing up, and so did my husband. When we first spoke about it, it felt like it would just be the perfect fit. I first visited with my parents and we were all SOLD instantly! Not to mention, I worked with Megan throughout the duration, and she was so professional, patient, and helpful with our 10000 questions. She helped me through every step of the way. ALSO, if Megan was not available, all of the girls in the office were ready to step in and help. A true class act of professionals all around. All of our guests could not stop talking about how amazing the food was, and of course how stunning and classy the venue is. My new husband and I wish we could plan another wedding! (lol). HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE!!! I knew I wanted to get married at Drury Lane since I was a little girl. All I had to do was convince my husband that this was the perfect place (which didn't take long. He fell in love during our first visit). Tammy and the rest of the staff and Drury Lane are AMAZING. I can't rave about them enough. Leading up the wedding they were supportive, helpful, and just all around wonderful.During our wedding day, Tammy helped us organize everything. The wait staff was outstanding. No one ever had an empty plate or cup.I wish we could get married every weekend! We had such a blast. Drury Lane is stunning, affordable, and absolutely perfect!

We decided to book with Drury Lane, and right off the bat I knew that we'd made the right decision! The event coordinator Megan is amazing to work with, she's insanely helpful and had a lot of great advice for us. (I always felt bad for emailing her a bunch of silly questions, but she always answered them.) All of the event staff are very nice, but major props to Megan for helping us basically make our wedding a success in 6 months.All of our food was fantastic (so so so many compliments on everything and how everyone basically cleaned their plates). Seriously, I almost wish I could have had more food on our menu.We held our reception in the Crystal Room, and it looked gorgeous! In fact, if you decide to get married here in December, the entire building is beautifully decorated for the holidays. (We were also kindly let in to one of the rooms for some pictures that I can't wait to see.) Seriously though, everything was handled wonderfully, the staff were great, and I couldn't be happier for how everything turned out. I can't recommend them enough and I'm excited for our 1 Year Anniversary brunch in the future!

Drury Lane not only is the wedding venue of your dreams but they also have people who are absolutely amazing just to ensure they give your the experience of a lifetime and make your special day really really special. One example of their staff is Brandon, the Director of Events. From start to finish, he was amazing and his staff who he worked with was amazing. I could not recall all the names but I am thankful for making that day special. Brandon is Professional, responsive, efficient, and flexible .Brandon communicated well with all the vendors and everyone involved with the wedding arrangements and he made it so seamless and simple taking stress out of everyone. We had a fantastic event at Drury Lane. Thank you Brandon and his team to make our day very special.

ABSOLUTELY HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE! Brandon was so helpful through the entire process and was always there to answer phone calls/emails. You really cant beat the chandeliers, the decor is just too stunning. Also the food is amazing, we had so many good comments on it. highly recommend doing the peach melba for desert :) My wedding was the second large party we did with Drury lane so we really trust them to do it right!

Drury Lane is the wedding venue of dreams if you are looking for a location that offers elegance, sophistication and style. We were lucky enough to work directly with Brandon, the Director of Events. From start to finish, he was amazing. Professional, responsive, efficient, and flexible enough to adapt to the most extreme conditions of trying to plan our wedding during a global pandemic! With the continuously changing rules and guidelines, Brandon made sure to let us know what we could and could not do, and always offered helpful ideas and suggestions. Coordination leading up to the event was excellent, but execution on the night was world class. It made our whole wedding celebration that much better as I did not have to worry or fuss over anything. Brandon, the banquet manager and our servers on the night made sure to take care of everything. We had a fantastic wedding at Drury Lane and will recommend to anyone looking for an elegant and glam indoor location.

My husband and I probably went through all the potential venues in the Chicagoland area comparing prices, food, location, accessibility to a hotel for our Wedding and Reception which would need to accommodate 500 guests. But no matter where we looked, we couldn’t find a place that offered the elegance that we wanted more than anything. The venue itself is stunning, without any additional decor. With its pillars and chandeliers and even greenery. Not only was it EXTREMELY affordable, but every single step of the process was done seamlessly with the help of their wedding coordinators, Tammy and Kara.Kara was moving away and so she would no longer be with Drury Lane, so she introduced us to Tammy! Tammy and the rest of the staff at Drury Lane helped make our wedding a DREAM. Tammy was communicative from the start, responding promptly to e-mails and calls, providing thoughtful suggestions, and offering advice. She has done this many times, so she knows all the ins and outs. She coordinated the location of the table arrangements, the DJ, gift table, and the dessert table. She helped all of my vendors including the decorator, DJ, and caterers around the space, so we showed up to the venue that was perfectly set up. She coordinated with the bar staff (opening and closing the bars), opening and closing doors during all of our entrances, moving people out of the hall and into the venue when the events were about to start. When we were looking for a venue for our wedding reception, we noticed many places wanted us to fit our wedding to their space. That was not the case with Drury Lane; Drury Lane’s goal was to make their space the perfect fit for our wedding. Throughout the process of planning our reception, Brandon and the staff at Drury Lane worked together with us to transform our ideas into concrete plans. The communication and support we received from Drury Lane’s staff made planning a wedding reception so much easier than I could have ever imagined. From the food tasting, the choosing of linens, the collaboration with our vendors, and the planning of all our special details, Drury Lane went above and beyond to help us create our wedding vision. On the day of the wedding, we walked in and we were blown away to see how the Crystal Room had been transformed into the most unique and stunning reception space. I had a handful of ideas I wanted included in our wedding reception and they made each of them happen. From the hot chocolate bar, to the grand piano for the band to play, to the special Caesar salad delivered especially to the groom, each detail had been executed perfectly. We are so grateful for all Drury Lane did to make memories on our wedding day that will last a lifetime!

She couldn't have been any more accommodating and did everything she possibly could have to make our vision come to life. Christina was approachable, personable, and receptive. She always answered our questions in a timely manner and always professional. She did an awesome job at making us feel important and had our best interest in mind. Christina became more than our coordinator. She was so involved in our vision, that by the end of it all, I felt like I had gained a friend. She made the whole experience very personal. Her recommendations from her personal experience were all great with five star reviews themselves. I actually ended up using a Pianist she had recommended during our cocktail hour. When we walked into our reception for the first time, I cried. It was perfect. The food was also fantastic, our guests are still talking about it! The hospitality from staff was wonderful. I do not have any regrets with our decision and if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change one thing. I would highly recommend Drury Lane and to work with Christina, of course. I can't imagine planning our wedding without Christina. Bride to Bride, you will not regret it!

That is, until we visited Drury Lane. The minute we walked into the Crystal Room our eyes met and I knew we were in agreement, we had found our venue. The entire process was relatively seamless. The coordinator we were originally assigned left Drury Lane, and it ended up being a godsend! Christina was assigned our new coordinator and she became our right hand lady. No matter how many emails we sent her, or weird questions we asked, or details we threw her way, she met the challenge. And trust me, it was no easy feat, she literally went above and beyond. She listened to every single thing and made sure what we saw on our big day was exactly what we wanted. Even Megan, one of the other coordinators, was exceptionally kind and helpful when I showed up to drop off items for the reception. She grabbed carts and helped me to haul stuff in, with a smile on her face and nothing but congratulations! When we arrived on the day of, the venue was gorgeous and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Maria, who not only served us for our tasting, but was also our server the night of our wedding, is the kindest, most attentive and thoughtful woman I’ve ever met. She went the extra mile to make sure everything was taken care of and that we felt like a king and queen! The food was good - but there was a significant difference in the taste and quality compared to the tasting. But we knew that is to be expected when cooking for 100 vs cooking for 2. And a word of advise to future brides and grooms - always hand deliver your payments! We sent a payment via FedEx with tracking, and although FedEx shows it got delivered, we were told it was never received. So less than a week out we had to scramble to get a new check cut and get it there. All in all, with the complimentary valet and coat check, two options for hotels in the same parking lot, the beautiful ballrooms, and the amazing staff, you truly can’t go wrong with booking your wedding at Drury Lane!

We are so happy we decided to have our wedding reception at Drury Lane. The venue is absolutely beautiful, and the staff is extremely professional and focused on the client and guest experience. Our coordinator was Tammy Blachuciak, and we could not have been more impressed with her. Tammy was very professional, responsive, and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. Her years of experience working in the industry are evident as she always had a calm demeanor while still executing flawlessly with her staff on everything we requested. The food at our wedding reception blew us away, and we received so many compliments from guests on how much they enjoyed the dinner. We could not be happier with our experience and cannot recommend Drury Lane enough!

Megan and the rest of the staff at Drury Lane helped make our wedding a DREAM. She helped all of my vendors including the florist, DJ, and photo booth, around the space, so we showed up to a room that was perfectly set up and ready to party. I loved not having anything to worry about on the day of. The space itself (my husband and I used the Crystal Room) was stunning and required truly minimal decorations - a huge plus, as we were on a pretty tight budget. The food was wonderful, as was the service by the catering staff. They were all kind and attentive. Also impressive was the chef's attention to detail. Out of an almost 130-person wedding, we had four guests with very serious food allergies. The chef created a custom menu for each guest and was even able to provide it for us in advance.Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Drury Lane. Planning was minimally stressful since the pricing includes so much. And if you can, definitely work with Megan! She was truly a rockstar.

They were one of the first vendors we booked during our 18-month engagement, and every step over those 18 months was so simple and straightforward. We were looking for a venue that was beautiful on its own, pretty much all-inclusive, and reasonably priced and Drury Lane ticked all those boxes. Also, the food was DELICIOUS! Seriously, its a month later and people are still telling me how it was probably the food they'd had at a wedding (shout out to the champagne sorbet). So much parking, plus complimentary valet, hotels on-site (plus a complimentary hotel room), easy to get to from the city and just all that old-Hollywood glam. We worked with Ruth, Lesley, and Tammy and each of them was incredibly helpful and so nice. If you are looking for a wedding venue in the Chicago area, Drury Lane is the place to go! I cannot say enough great things about this venue, Tammy Blachuciak and all of the staff. From my first interaction reaching out to inquire about dates and pricing, I was surprised by how responsive and flexible everyone was, especially compared to experiences I had with other venues at the beginning of our planning process. My then fiancé and I toured Drury Lane on December 28th, 2018 and had it booked for our wedding date, October 5th, 2019 within one week because Tammy knew I was going out of the country for two weeks and worked extremely hard to work with me on the contract in such a short time frame. Having a wedding with 325 guests takes a lot of coordination and time and Tammy helped me with all of my random questions, last minute changes, and pointing out things that I hadn't even thought of. She was very flexible with meeting me at Drury Lane, even staying late to accommodate my drive in from the city. She even worked with my other vendors directly so that I wasn't stressing out right before the wedding. We had our wedding reception in the Oak and Brook ballrooms. It is hard to even describe how gorgeous and elegant Drury Lane is. From the beautiful entrance and foyer to the huge mirrors and stunning chandeliers in the ballroom, it is simply the most beautiful wedding venue I have ever been to. On top of that, the food is amazing! All of our guests were raving about how delicious the food was. The serving staff was great about getting all of the food out efficiently but also taking the time to make sure guests were done with each course before taking it away. As this was my wedding, I know that I am probably biased in saying this was the best wedding I have ever been to, but ALL of my guests said the same thing and I know this would not have been the case if not for Tammy and Drury Lane. Tammy truly cared about our wedding and making it as perfect as can be, you can tell that it is not just a job for her. I cannot recommend Drury Lane enough!

We had our wedding at Drury Lane on October 12th, 2019 in the Crystal Room. The first time we walked into Drury Lane we knew this is where we wanted to have our reception. We booked Drury Lane that previous summer. Tammy worked with us the entire time and was so great. She was very quick to respond to any questions via email or phone that we might of had, no matter how small or silly they were. She met with us several times just to make sure she knew exactly what our vision was for our day. Tammy also wrote down that I (bride) was gluten and dairy free, and the food brought out to me was things that I could eat. Not many places would go that above and beyond for a complicated diet. The day of our wedding, everything went very smoothly. Tammy and others checked in with us throughout the night to ask if we needed anything, ask how food was and ask how the night was going. Tammy was helpful in making sure things were on time as well as helping with my dress when we couldn’t figure out how to bustle it. Our guests had nothing but great things to say about the day and the food! I would definitely recommend Drury Lane to any couple getting married.

The day of our wedding, everything went very smoothly. Tammy and others checked in with us throughout the night to ask if we needed anything, ask how food was and ask how the night was going. Tammy was helpful in making sure things were on time as well as helping with my dress when we couldn’t figure out how to bustle it. Our guests had nothing but great things to say about the day and the food! I would definitely recommend Drury Lane to any couple getting married.

The food was perfect and the decor for the theater was so beautiful, it was an added bonus as we got married around the holidays. I would also like to point out the service during our reception. I have family members who have food allergies, and I had informed our server, they went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect for my family and that there would be no issues. It was service that made such a positive impression that I had family members talking about it a few months later! If I had to host any events I would choose Drury Lane again. Our wedding reception at the Drury Lane was straight out of a fairy tale and dream come true! From the first meeting with Ruth when checking out venues, to the planning process with Tammy, to the evening itself, everything was seamless, detail-oriented, high-quality, and beautifully done! The food was absolutely delicious, the Oak Room was beautiful, Tammy ensured every detail (even those I did not think of or mention) was done perfectly. I kept the centerpieces simple with the included package, and they were so lovely, beautiful, and classy (all styled by Tammy). Any miscellaneous items (memorial signs, hashtag signs, etc) that I had for decoration but didn't know exactly how or where they would be displayed, Tammy took care of without any problem. The ambiance of the rooms with the beautiful chandeliers and gorgeous table linens is exactly what you picture for a dream formal wedding venue. Tammy was so quick in her responses to any of my questions, helped my bridesmaids bustle my dress when I arrived, checked in with us (my parents, husband, and me) all evening long, and just did everything possible to make the evening everything we could have dreamed and more. I had looked at probably hundreds of potential venues, compared prices, food, location, accessibility. I always knew Drury Lane was a beautiful venue that was there, but never did I expect that I could ever actually AFFORD to have my event there.I stumbled upon another review saying how affordable it was, so I did some investigating. Not only was it EXTREMELY affordable, but every single step of the process was done seamlessly with the help of their wedding coordinator, Lesley. The venue itself is stunning, without any additional decor. With its pillars and chandeliers and even greenery. We went for a food tasting, all of which was delicious and made our decision for dinner even more difficult. There are different sized rooms to accommodate a wedding of any size. We chose to have the ceremony and reception at the venue, Lesley made sure it was possible to have the ceremony in one room, then a cocktail hour in another room next door (which the guests loved), then the reception in the next room. It was nice not having to travel from place to place. We were able to have all of our wedding photos taken at the venue. They have countless package options, something for everyone. The day of the wedding, everything went off without a hitch. Timing was spot on. Decor, lighting, food, service, everything was just perfect. I always tell people i was able to have my dream wedding for less than 10 grand. (This is including the dress and accessories mind you).I would highly recommend this venue for your wedding. You wont regret it!

I could not be happier with our wedding and Drury Lane. We knew we wanted Drury Lane after attending a friend's wedding here. Our friends had positive feedback and I wanted a venue where I wouldn't have to worry about anything. Drury Lane was also one of the lower priced options for a Saturday in September, which was definitely a draw for us. We basically wanted our wedding to be as nice as possible while making it as cheap as possible. In wedding dollars, that's still a lot of money but I felt like Drury Lane was the best option for us to accomplish that while still checking all the boxes for what we wanted in a venue.As far as banquet halls go, Drury Lane is more than a banquet hall and it is maintained much better than many of the banquet halls we looked at. Our reception was in the Crystal Room, which we requested. It has more chandeliers because it has fewer movable walls. We worked with Megan and she took care of everything that we needed. Our food, from the tasting all the way to the reception, was wonderful. We got rave reviews about it from our friends and family. My husband and I really enjoyed it as well. We had dessert from a third party vendor and delivery and display of the desserts was seamless because I never heard a thing about it and poof there were our cupcakes. That's definitely what you want as a bride. Wedding planning was pretty stressful for me and Drury Lane did not add to that stress. The few external vendors that we had worked perfectly with the venue. Drury Lane's servers and bartenders were wonderful. I truly have nothing negative to say and would 100% choose Drury Lane as our venue if I had to do it over again.

We can not recommend Drury Lane enough for a wedding venue. Tammy and Ruth are amazing! They make you feel like family. Treated us like their kids and wanted only exactly what we wanted for our special day. They had wonderful suggestions when we didn’t know what to do and even gave us other vendors to try for our flower, lighting and DJ needs. They were easy to talk to, easy to reach and so accommodating with what we wanted our dream wedding to be. We knew the day would be effortless and we wouldn’t have to worry about a thing because they were by our side. The food?! To die for. Amazing during the food tasting, amazing during brunch and amazing day of the wedding. Even accommodated the ONE meal that we requested to be mushroom free due to an allergy one of our guests had. We can not recommend Drury Lane enough for a wedding venue. Tammy and Ruth are amazing! They make you feel like family. Treated us like their kids and wanted only exactly what we wanted for our special day. They had wonderful suggestions when we didn’t know what to do and even gave us other vendors to try for our flower, lighting and DJ needs. They were easy to talk to, easy to reach and so accommodating with what we wanted our dream wedding to be. We knew the day would be effortless and we wouldn’t have to worry about a thing because they were by our side. The food?! To die for. I can't rave enough about this venue! We had our ceremony in the Venetian room and Reception in the Crystal Ball Room. First, the atmosphere is out of an Audrey Hepburn film. Secondly, the food is incredible. From the steak to the chicken to the salmon.... it was perfect! Need I say more? But the list goes on. I worked with Tammy B. And when i say that i was scattered, unprepared, unorganized... I mean it. My big day had arrived and I had never even been to a wedding. Tammy thought through every detail for me. I kept getting compliments on the placement of the centerpieces (that was all tammy), I got comments on the memory table (that too was Tammy). Tammy took my piles of boxes junk and turned it into a golden, candlelit dreamland. She didn't miss a beat. She let me on track without being pushy. She got wine off my dress, she kept track of my bridesmaids for when I needed them... I could not have done a thing without her. She even straightened my dress before I walked down the isle because I hadn't thought about that one either.... thank you to Tammy B. And Drury Lane for making my wedding so effortless and worry free and PERFECT!!!

I am STILL hearing from our guests about how GREAT the food was, and everyone was blown away by the beauty of the ballroom. I had my wedding reception for about 500 people and it was excellent.First of all, the banquet hall is GORGEOUS. From the chandeliers, the carpeting, the molding on the walls, everything about this place looks high end. They also offered valet for our guests, which was free for the guests. This was a nice touch and very convenient.Besides the beautiful decor, the service here was impeccable. The servers were all super accommodating and did things before you even had to ask. For example, they made sure food was ready for my husband and I at the sweetheart table, complete with sauces and side salads. The server also came up to us several times to make sure we were taken care of. She made sure we had dessert and coffee and anything else we wanted. Also, towards the end of the night, they put ice water out for the guests so everyone could quench their thirst while dancing. Little touches like that really make all the difference.I was thoroughly impressed! This is an amazing place to have a wedding.

Drury Lane was everything I wanted in a reception venue - Available, Convenient, Inclusive, and even somewhat affordable. I didn't have to pick out special chairs, or special linen- everything was great just as it came. Yes, you CAN do upgrades, but honestly, why? The best part of the venue is how beautiful it already is!Oh, and the FOOD. I haven't stopped hearing about how great it all was. Honestly, the best meal at a wedding I've ever had. The service was exceptional- they really took care of us. When the heads on our topper fell off they were right there gluing them back on. And when we had extra people show up, they helped me accommodate them (i had an empty table for a reason, after all!) At the end of the night our personal attendant boxed up all the extra cake, put our flowers in their cooler, and helped me gather all the extra's we had delivered to the venue earlier in the week. I can't speak highly enough of the outstanding service and quality we received having our reception here.

We along with our guests had a great experience with Drury Lane's customer service and venue. Lesley was our event manager and she was accommodating and a pleasure to work with. My spouse and I are highly detailed and Lesley couldn't have been more patient and responsive with our questions and requests. There were a couple of days when she wasn't in the office and her coworkers were just as helpful and pleasant. The venue itself is grand and classic, particularly with its many beautiful, trademark chandeliers. Everywhere you turn offers a nice backdrop for photos. As for the cuisine, I highly recommend for hors d'oeuvres their beef teriyaki skewers, which were deliciously tender and juicy. Although we didn't get to taste them, our guests also raved about the crab cakes. Our entrée choices were prime rib, stuff chicken breast or vegetable lasagna. Guests raved about their dinner. I did feel the food was better at our tasting, but that's understandable since the chef was cooking for only three vs. 335 at our reception. Do note that Drury Lane doesn't have wedding cakes or a private bridal room for you to get ready in. In terms of price, we looked at a number of venues and Drury Lane appeared to be the best value, especially considering its beautiful design, large size and reputation. When looking at wedding venues, many of them started to look the same. Drury Lane stood apart and wasn't that \"same old standard hotel ballroom\". It was elegant and exactly what we hoped for our wedding, but without the elegant price tag.

The elegance of the room, the great tasting food, the flexibility of the waitstaff and, the ease of our guests staying next door the entire experience with Drury Lane helped make for a fantastic evening for our wedding guests. From the first meeting with Ruth to the numerous meetings with Tammy we were guided and encouraged with our decisions on how to plan the evening. Have never been disappointed with the food from Drury Lane and we were not disappointed that evening. We always felt very supportive and even though I know they deal with hundreds of people, I felt we were special to them. Book this place now before its too late!

We got married in the crystal ballroom and it was so beautiful! The food was amazing and the service was very good as well! There was some issues with our tables not being set up correctly, but that is my only complaint.

The catering director, Kara was easily the best vendor we worked with throughout the wedding process. She made everything so simple and her confidence and flexibility made her very approachable. She truly was an advisor and didn't try to sell us more than we needed. If you're looking for an elegant space without a pretentious staff, you MUST check out Drury Lane. Also, they have a theatre and restaurant that are perfect for date night.

From the beginning, we loved the Crystal Room because it’s more of a private room to the side with its own little hallway that is perfect for cocktails and a receiving line. The room on the day of the wedding looked beautiful with all the crystal chandeliers and elegant tables. Our coordinator was Tammy who was very kind and organized. She consistently answered all of our questions throughout our whole engagement. We were so happy to work with her! She and all of the staff at Drury Lane were very accommodating and professional. We went to a tasting a few months before the big day and were so excited about all of the food options. The food there is absolutely delicious!!! We received so much feedback from our guests stating how much they enjoyed the food. The chefs kindly accommodated guests with food allergies. We had one guest who was on chemo and could not have certain food like tomatoes. Tammy and the chefs were very kind about this, and this guest received food substitutions. These guests who received accommodations were so grateful for this, and they truly enjoyed themselves. Drury Lane has hosted so many weddings and events that they truly know what they are doing. They also have relationships with so many of the vendors in the area which helps everyone work together so well. We would highly recommend this venue for a wedding reception, or any big event, to anyone. We felt that we received a delicious 5-course meal for an excellent value. We are so happy with our decision to go with Drury Lane. We want our friends to get married there just so we can experience an event there again!! Initially, everyone at Drury Lane was extremely helpful and nice. They would reach out regularly to ask questions and set up various meetings like the tasting, etc. They even let us add a different pasta we wanted to try to our tasting menu beyond what we'd already chosen. One of the waiters insisted we try the champagne sorbet as well, since it was a favorite of most. He didn't lead us astray! As it got closer to the wedding, however, the lady I was working with stopped responding to my email inquiries. She was on vacation when I first reached out, but then never got back to us after she was supposed to have returned. Nobody communicated when we should pick up any of the leftover favors and the remaining items at the reception hall. I even had to call (the day our money was due before the wedding) to find out what my final amount owed was in order to submit payment \"on time.\" On top of it, when we showed up the day of the wedding, they did something funny with the table order and gave my husband and his cousin attitude when they personally tried to move the table in the order it should have been in (which, of course we understand there's a system, but they also were just trying to help so our guests were not confused). On top of it, dinner was supposed to be served during the speeches (and it wasn't) and the food was not nearly as good as it was at the tasting (the prime rib anyways--definitely not the rare meat we had at the tasting, which was one of the reasons we chose Drury Lane to begin with--I had been at a wedding there before and the food was amazing. I wanted my guests to have the same experience). Although the overall experience was worth 3 stars (I've heard of many other nightmares), we were disappointed because of these things. I will say that the day of staff was very nice to me, even finding my purse when I lost it while rushing around taking pictures and doing introductions. The overall experience wasn't terrible, though--our guests had a great time and enjoyed themselves, as did we--these are just some of the frustrations we experienced and that another person should anticipate.

Initially, everyone at Drury Lane was extremely helpful and nice. They would reach out regularly to ask questions and set up various meetings like the tasting, etc. They even let us add a different pasta we wanted to try to our tasting menu beyond what we'd already chosen. One of the waiters insisted we try the champagne sorbet as well, since it was a favorite of most. He didn't lead us astray! As it got closer to the wedding, however, the lady I was working with stopped responding to my email inquiries. She was on vacation when I first reached out, but then never got back to us after she was supposed to have returned. Nobody communicated when we should pick up any of the leftover favors and the remaining items at the reception hall. They let us come in a few days before to set up mock tables. For the other tables we drew a crude drawing of how to set things up and I was worried it wouldn't be right. When we walked in it was set up perfect! Tammy made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. They also let our cake person (a family friend) come in early to set up the cake as she had to leave to begin making a cake for another wedding. They were flexible, helpful and wonderful. People couldn't stop talking about how gorgeous and fancy the venue is. I loved my wedding at Drury Lane.

From the moment you enter the facility, you step into a classy and gorgeous environment. Kara, my coordinator was unbelievably amazing and sooooooo helpful with EVERYTHING! The staff is professional and courteous, and above all very caring and attentive towards making our day a special and memorable one! I cannot say enough positive things about Drury Lane. When you see what is offered and available to you, you will see that it is the best bang for your buck in the Chicagoland area!!! The food is UNREAL!!! Guests are still talking about the food quality and that the food was the best tasting at any wedding attended. Guests with NOT leave hungry and the drinks are flowing aplenty! It was truly the wedding of our dreams and the most perfect day! And the chandeliers????!!!! STUNNING! We had our ceremony in the Venetian Room and the the reception in the Crystal Ballroom. I would highly recommend booking these two rooms! And the venue is perfect since the Hilton Suites and Garden Inn bookend this venue! Everything is right there! Drury lane is absolutely beautiful, the food was delicious (people are still complimenting me about it), the staff is so friendly and polite!! Lesley and the staff were a pleasure to work with and were always available to answer my 100s of questions. And man did they deliver. A perspective from an Event Coordinator's experience: I got married here in December of 1991. Yesterday we had the pleasure to return to Drury Lane to celebrate my 23rd Wedding Anniversary. We hadn't been there since 1991. \rOMG! It was exquisite and we were blown away by the remodeling of the facility. It was classy and sophisticated. Whomever was the designer for the Drury Lane really brought it to the next level and it seems you are walking into a downtown venue without the $$ price tag. \rThe service was way beyond attentive. Our waiter was so sweet and made us feel important, his name is Yuri. The food was so delicious! They had station after station giving their customers so much variety to select from and they even had a ice cream sundae bar! Yummy! You should have seen the sleigh Santa Claus was sitting on! It was classic and made for a great Christmas picture with Santa. \rThe color scheme is sophisticated and their attention to detail is apparent everywhere. Even fresh red roses adorn ever guest table at the entrance within the lounge area. As an Event Coordinator, you always notice the special little touches that sets that venue apart from the others, realizing that the owners and management take great pride in giving you the very best. \rThe remodeling went all the way from the new wallpaper to the last details of new banquet chairs. The new banquet chairs are gorgeous! Yes, gorgeous and modern. They look like chavari chairs but more sturdy and a sophisticated look. Now, you as clients, do not have to worry about the EXTRA money and expense it takes renting chair covers or chavari chairs because a venue may still have old, dirty, or out dated banquet chairs that does not enhance your color scheme or the look of the ballroom. Chairs are a big deal and can be a huge expense when it comes to trying to replace what they offer. So think of it as money saved or money you can spend elsewhere. Its nice when venues don't put the extra expense on you! \rI always say in business you have to spend money to make money and you can tell Drury Lane has taken every effort in making their venue at a grand scale. \rTheir little tea rooms off to the side are perfect for a luncheon as a bridal shower, baby shower, or small anniversary celebration. The decor in the tea rooms are so impressive, they each have fireplaces that make the room so cozy and welcoming. Perfect for a smaller occasion. \rThe main ballrooms are everything you would hope for. When you walk in it is pure elegance at its finest! The chandeliers are timeless and they beautifully illuminate the entire ballroom making it romantic, exactly what you would expect on your wedding day. \rIn my experience, the most requested items a Bride and Groom wants from a venue is:\r1. Gorgeous, timeless, and impressive ballroom, the \"wow\" factor. - Check\r2. A beautiful and large lobby area with lounge area and sitting area outside of ballroom. - Check\r* Great for your guests to grab a drink during dinner hour.\r3. Close by or attached hotel for guests to stay. Convenient. - Check \r4. Neutral color scheme, updated, and beautifully maintained. - Check\r5. Attention to detail is seen everywhere! - Check\rGoing back I realize why we booked Drury Lane for our wedding reception. It is elegant, timeless, impressive, romantic, and sophisticated! The decor in the tea rooms are so impressive, they each have fireplaces that make the room so cozy and welcoming. Perfect for a smaller occasion. \rThe main ballrooms are everything you would hope for. When you walk in it is pure elegance at its finest! The chandeliers are timeless and they beautifully illuminate the entire ballroom making it romantic, exactly what you would expect on your wedding day. \rIn my experience, the most requested items a Bride and Groom wants from a venue is:\r1. Gorgeous, timeless, and impressive ballroom, the \"wow\" factor. - Check\r2. A beautiful and large lobby area with lounge area and sitting area outside of ballroom. - Check\r* Great for your guests to grab a drink during dinner hour.\r3. Close by or attached hotel for guests to stay. Convenient. - Check \r4. Neutral color scheme, updated, and beautifully maintained. - Check\r5. Attention to detail is seen everywhere! - Check\rGoing back I realize why we booked Drury Lane for our wedding reception. It is elegant, timeless, impressive, romantic, and sophisticated! This is a beautiful venue, but they won't do a ceremony + reception if your wedding is on a Saturday. They'll only do ceremonies on Fridays or Sundays. That was a deal breaker for us. But the venue is beautiful and the staff seemed very nice.

Our communication leading up to the wedding was best handled over the phone, most emails went days unanswered, up until the last week before the wedding where communication was frequent and on point.\r\rWith that one piece of advise out of the way,the staff is so very helpful and wonderful in every way possible. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. I primarily worked with Kara, who is just amazing. She is nice, professional, honest, detail-orientated; and she responds to correspondence promptly and thoughtfully. \r\rThe best part? Venue beautiful, but would have liked more information on flower arrangements. I was not happy with 1 rose for each table. Food and service were excellent. No additional cost for cake cutting and plating. Bartenders were awesome too. Very affordable.

Overall, my experience was wonderful. We decided to go with food stations over a plated dinner, and we were able to get a larger room to allow for traffic patterns. The space was absolutely beautiful, and the staff on the night of were amazing. The bartender remembered what my mother-in-law was drinking after her first time up. Tammy worked with the chef to provide an almost entirely gluten-free menu, substituting where necessary and providing gluten-free bread for the Bruschetta station. \r\rMy only complaint is that Tammy, while great to work with in person, is not so good in her email communication. We were sent old versions of contracts and had emails referencing the wrong date or time, which is really nerve-wracking when you're only a month or so out. Any time we called or emailed with corrections or to double check the delivered information, Tammy knew what things were SUPPOSED to say; it seems that she is pretty busy and could use another set of eyes when she emails things out.

For the favors we went to Ikea and bought those mid-length square vases, filled them with rocks, and then put a bamboo inside from Ikea. Everyone loved the favors. I am only reviewing banquet facilities, but we had our wedding in the oak room here and it was amazing! First of all, our coordinator Kara was so hospitable and perfect. She responded promptly to every email-and I sent a lot of emails! Value wise the price was cheaper then surrounding halls and we are still getting compliments about how good the food was! I definitely recommend the prime rib. The whole night Kara was there checking on us and making sure things went off without a hitch. We even got to box up the food that was not eaten and take it home :)\r The place is stunning and vast so you don't even need a lot of decorations. Your package comes with free center pieces and the chairs are new and nice so no covers are needed. Our package also came with a free stay at the beautiful adjacent suites which made it easy for everyone to get ready and we had no worries about drinking and driving (just be sure to book and block rooms for guests early as they sell out quickly!) I would recommend this venue to any couple who appreciates beauty, food, value, and convenience.

The venue was gorgeous - especially for a winter wedding. The lobby had beautiful Christmas decorations all over! They were very accommodating and reasonably priced. I got married 3 weeks ago and people still keep telling me how beautiful the reception was and how delicious the dinner was, too! The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating is because there was some confusion with locating my extra sheet cake for guests at the reception. It was a minor detail but it left a bad taste... She made it feel like we were the only wedding there even though I know we weren't. The food was AMAZING as well. We received so many compliments on the food! My first impression of Drury Lane was amazing. The inside is abosolutly beautiful. I knew right away that this is where I wanted to have my wedding reception. The banquet staff was easy to work with and on the day of my wedding I was blown away with how elegant and classy the room looked. We recieved so many great compliments from all our family and friends especially on the food. It was the BEST food we ever had or tasted from a wedding. I could not have been happier with the way everything turned out. I would highly reccommend looking at Drury Lane..you will not be disappointed.

I was beyond happy with our choice of venue in Drury Lane. The place is beautiful and has recently been updated to a blue, brown and white color scheme which is a nice update to the red and gold of yore. The food is stellar and our room the crystal room in the back was semi-private and beautiful. We had some uplighting brought in which really added to the look and feel with all the mirrors and chandeliers. I'd highly recommend this place. I found them easy to work with and had no problems on the day of. Ask for the mirrored tables for your head tables!

I was beyond happy with our choice of venue in Drury Lane. The place is beautiful and has recently been updated to a blue, brown and white color scheme which is a nice update to the red and gold of yore. The food is stellar and our room the crystal room in the back was semi-private and beautiful. We had some uplighting brought in which really added to the look and feel with all the mirrors and chandeliers. I'd highly recommend this place. I found them easy to work with and had no problems on the day of. Ask for the mirrored tables for your head tables!
