Beautiful location in the country, venue was great with outside area for ceremony, covered patio overlooking a lovely natural backdrop, elegant reception hall well laid out for any type of event, and for brides and grooms - both suites were spacious and very special decor! Owner, Brenda, was accommodating and ensured our event ran smoothly, really appreciated her help and knowledge with the special wedding event for our family!

I loved dry creek! It was so beautiful and everything went so smoothly. We did the all inclusive package and all our vendors were amazing. Great experience, would definitely recommend.

Dry Creek Gatherings is a great venue, if you are looking to have a dry wedding. While the setup/design that our planner and the floral team executed was beautiful, our experience with the venue appearance itself and their bar vendor was far from positive. If you are evaluating Dry Creek Gatherings as your wedding venue, know that you are required to utilize their bar vendor and they are EXTREMELY strict about bringing in any outside alcohol.As a professional bar vendor we trusted that the Dry Creek Bar would be able to accurately quote us, based on wedding headcount (120) and feedback provided by myself and my planner. In the quoting process we had the bar increase their initial volume THREE times and shared that we do not want to have an issue where we run out of alcohol. Surely enough, by 8 PM during the reception, the bartenders notified me that they were running out of wine and champagne. The owner, Brenda, claims that because we had the bar open an extra hour, which is why we ran out. We had paid for the bar from 5-11 PM, so even that extra hour would have had us running out by 9 PM. The bartenders were refusing to serve our guests including my own groom, as they were trying to \"conserve\" champagne. Despite hiring additional bar staff members, our guests were consistently having to wait in a 15-20 minute line at the bar, since Dry Creek only offers 1 bar setup. We ended up having to put a credit card down and inquired a few additional thousand dollars in costs, on top of the $8k we had already paid, just to keep the bar open and providing drinks for the evening.Landscaping was another area in which our experience was negative. The owner of the venue, Brenda, had ensured during our final walk through, that the landscaping would be in great condition and the weeds would be removed from the outdoor ceremony space. Surely enough when we arrived at the venue there were foot tall weeds growing out in front of the bridal suite and my mother and aunt were on their hands and knees pulling weeds in the ceremony space on wedding day.While aesthetically the wedding turned out nicely, upon removal of the weeds, as the bride I was stressed out nearly the entire afternoon/evening and would not recommend this venue and their bar vendor.

I met Ms. Brenda and her team at the bridal extravaganza 2019. From the time I met her, I knew I wanted her venue. I didn’t care that the venue was still being built. I was her second wedding at her brand new venue and all I can say is , wow! The venue is absolutely stunning! The details and the love that went into building it are incomparable. Ms.Brenda is so down to earth and is with you every step of the way. She has amazing ideas that she brings to the table from floral, to linens, centerpieces and floor plans. I cannot say enough great things about this venue. Even the bathrooms are stunning! Haha! Go check out the venue. You will not be disappointed.

I was lucky enough to find Dry Creek Gatherings while on my venue search. When I came across Dry Creek Gatherings I contacted the venue right away and Ms. Brenda, the owner, was very quick to respond and so my fiance and I scheduled a tour right the next day. Dry Creek Gatherings was still in construction but the location was perfect, the style was exactly what we were looking, the trees around the venue are gorgeous and the price was perfect but at that point, we were sold. Ms. Brenda was so patient and very helpful with us and was so kind to let us visit the venue and see it's progress, which it turned out a lot more beautiful than I pictured. Unfortunately, we had to reschedule our wedding to 2021 but Ms. Brenda was so understanding and so helpful and was able to provide us with different options to help us, which made everything a thousand times easier. Ms. Brenda and Family treated us and continue to treat us like family, never like a transaction and for that I am so glad I came across Dry Creek Gatherings and cannot wait to have my wedding there.

Currently planning my wedding with Brenda. Y’all she is amazing! She is warm and considerate. She also does floral and linens. Very accommodating and keeps your budget in mind. I cannot say enough good things about her. Oh and the venue is just gorgeous! She did everything right in building that place.

My Fiance and I were lucky enough to meet this family at the Bridal Extravaganza in Houston. First impression right away was how personable, kind and genuinely excited about our wedding day they were. I didn't get the \"take a number\" vibe with them as I did with other venues. We toured the property as it is still being finished. The land is so beautiful and the trees, wow! The timber used for the reception building is just stunning. If you are looking for a nature filled wedding, this venue is definitely for you! We ultimately didn't book, but only because the Fiance's family is out of town. If we were getting married in the Houston area, this would be it! Go see it for yourself!

This site is the perfect wooded/country venue. I was married on this property before the main venue was built. I was married outdoors. The natural beauty of the property with the tall trees really is gorgeous.

Brenda Bates (Owner) Welcome to Dry Creek Gatherings! The vision for Dry Creek Gatherings came about after our eldest daughter celebrated her marriage with a woodlands themed wedding on our 20 acre farm. This venture started with a dream and hard work. Our hope is for guests to feel as though they have escaped from the everyday world for a few hours to celebrate and enjoy family & friends. We strive to provide the best service possible for our clients and their guests by offering a unique, custom, memorable experience!
