Our picturesque oceanfront location is an undeniable invitation to celebrate with us on Malibu’s crystal shores. The exquisite, sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean provide the perfect backdrop to say your vows and create timeless memories with your loved ones. Built directly over the water, this room has two walls of beachfront windows, providing an unparalleled experience of the waves as they crash onto the shore. In addition, the Ocean Room has a private balcony where guests may enjoy a quiet moment away from the festivities or take in one of Malibu’s famed sunsets. The Ocean Room can host ceremonies for up to 125 guests and receptions for up to 160 seated or 200 standing. The room layout can be arranged to your liking with tables, chairs, service-ware, and linens all included in the room rental fee. Our coastal inspired cuisine and California focused beverages are served with the genuinely friendly Aloha spirit Duke's is known for with ocean friendly practices. We offer a variety of dining options for your celebration including plated meals, buffets, family style service, appetizer receptions, and kids menus. Similarly, there are many options for your bar including per person packages, limiting the selections available to your guest, a cash & carry bar, or fully hosting.

The team at Duke's is amazing - Shoutout to Tina, Natalie and Michael and their team for making our big day super special. Would highly recommend. SUPER affordable for being located in Malibu!

We had our intimate wedding and reception at Duke's and it was perfect. The staff was helpful and responsive the whole time. They have done many events so are on top of everything and know the good questions to ask. The only downside is that we couldn't use the private beach for family photos and one of the main course entrees we selected for our menu (filet mignon) was not good. Other than these 2 minor details, I would definitely recommend Duke's, you cannot beat the beautiful view!!

From helping us plan through helping with moving and decorating on the day, the staff were perfect. We loved the bridal room for prep and dance floor. And the beach made for perfect pictures.And Natalie and Connor were completely there for us throughout the whole process. They are so good at this, and I always felt cared for. They helped me plan ever step and ran the night smoothly and perfectly so I could just enjoy it. The whole process with Duke’s felt so easy and calm, which is amazing when trying to throw a wedding. They deeply care about their clients, and it shows.I really can’t recommend this venue and it’s staff more highly. It was a dream come true.

Duke's is the best ever!!! We had our daughter's wedding and reception at Duke's in March 2019. We heard about Duke's Malibu in the Knott. We checked it out and fell in love with it. The ocean view is breathtaking, and the special event coordinators are all super helpful and answered my many millions of questions. Natalie and Connor ran the event and did an outstanding job. They managed the whole evening, so I got to relax and enjoy friends and family. All of our guests raved about the beautiful view, the large venue with the great dance floor, the great food from Duke's, and the exceptional staff. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. All we had to do was enjoy and dance the night away - and we did just that!

We initially chose Duke's because of their prime location along the coast as well as their capability to cater to a wedding size of 100 guests (with adult & child menu options). From the start, Duke's was very responsive and attentive to our needs - we corresponded periodically with a team of 3 events coordination staff to help us achieve milestones within the planning. The events staff, namely Connor & Natalie, were always available for consultation and assisted us with specific requests. On the day of the event everything was perfect and to our satisfaction. They had a large team assisting with the set-up and execution of the food, drink, and AV capabilities. All-in-all we couldn't have asked for a better experience, and all of our guests enjoyed themselves thoroughly. Well done Duke's!

Duke's Malibu Event Stuff were extremely helpful and accommodating with everything in our wedding. They kept in constant communication and were nice. We had a smaller wedding in the Board Room (33 people). They let us come in ahead of time and decorate and set up everything for the reception a few hours in advanced and made sure we had everything. The food was good, the only bad thing was we weren't able to have music that we wanted for that specific room, but I'm sure it's way different for their big reception venue rooms. Overall I recommend them.

We just had our wedding rehearsal dinner at Duke’s Malibu this past weekend. Since we were getting married up in the canyons, I wanted something on the water for our rehearsal. We had originally chosen another venue and after starting the process with them, we decided that we weren’t happy. We contacted Duke’s and they couldn’t have been more accommodating! The event staff (Natalie and Madelina) were incredibly helpful in every stage of planning the night/menu and the private room was a perfect size for our needs. The food was terrific and everyone loved the appetizers that we choose...highly recommend the Shrimp Croquettes and Poke Cups!!

From start to finish Duke's Malibu was a dream come true for our wedding. Madelina and Natalie helped us plan and stay on track leading up to the wedding. Natalie ended up helping the day of our wedding and we could not have asked for better service. The service was complimented by everybody who attended our wedding, showing that the staff took not only good care of us, but also our guests. The food was phenomenal! We had a daytime buffet wedding and we were nervous about how well the food would taste buffet-style, but Duke's again exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend the Duke's Style Fish, it was the highlight of the day.The view/location. We originally wanted a night wedding, however I am so glad that we did a daytime wedding and took advantage of this venues amazing view. Duke's also provides the ability to do our wedding photos on the beach.I'm unable to express enough our extreme gratitude and happiness with our whole experience at Duke's and with the Events Team.

From start to finish, the Duke's ladies handled the reception planning & ceremony perfectly and far exceeded all expectations. They were very hands on and organized, worked well with my vendors, and created the perfect atmosphere for guests. Duke's is the PERFECT spot for a beach view reception...must do it at sunset. Guests loved taking sunset pics on the deck and especially enjoyed the food.The baked Duke's style fish, Hawaiian sliders, and Duke's pie were the favorites. If you're looking to create a different menu for guests, look no further. I still have guests commenting on the food! Can't wait to get my photos. We will definitely be coming back to Duke's for many many years to come. Thank you Duke's for making our wedding day so special!

Our wedding at Duke's in Malibu was perfect. We were deciding between 2 venues when we met Maddie for an initial consultation. We knew when we left we wanted our wedding at Duke's. Maddie was awesome. She was warm, caring and professional. Every single detail was of utmost importance to her and her team. The food was great, and of course you cannot beat the location. Having to do it again, we'd definitely choose Duke's. A big thanks to Maddie and her team for making our wedding day flawless!

My wedding was held at Duke's Malibu October 2015 and I have the most wonderful memories from my evening. My wedding was truly magical at Duke's- From the setting, to the food, to the ambiance-It was more than I could have asked for! Madeline and her staff made everything flow beautifully and were all so easy to work with. I've had the most amazing compliments about our wedding- the setting and food were perfection! We were married as the sun set! There were waves hitting the windows at dinner! They provided a list of vendors that made the whole event gorgeous! I would highly recommend using Duke's Malibu for your wedding.

My wedding was this past Saturday at Dukes. Words can't describe how perfect it was. I cannot say enough about Madelina, Kim, Natalie, and their entire wedding staff. From the very first meeting with Madelina, to the many, many, emails and calls right before the wedding, they were always there every step of the way. Everything was taken care of the day of my wedding. The food was delicious! The view was amazing! The staff took care of everyone. My weddIng was so much fun and I owe it all to the wonderful staff at Dukes. I am forever grateful.

We had so many people tell us our wedding was the best wedding they have ever attended. Duke's did a fabulous job! The food was AMAZING and the service was top notch! This was the only venue in Los Angeles County we found to be reasonable in price for a wedding of 100 people. \r\rHighly recommend!!

While searching many venues in Hawaii to plan our wedding we decided that a last minute destination wedding just wasn't going to work for us. We were set on having it on Monday, March 16th due to sentimental reasons, we needed to find a local spot. I researched many places and them stumbled upon Duke's in Malibu. Coincidently, this is where my husband proposed and we had no idea of the beautiful Ocean Banquet room they had. I couldn't have been more satisfied with our decision. \r\rFirst off, the staff was excellent. Madelina, Alessa and a few others that we worked with were just great! There were great at listening to what we wanted and worked so well with the outside vendors that we hired to come in. \r\rThe room itself was very nice, the beautiful view of the windows overlooking the ocean was just breathtaking! The fact that we got to enjoy the ocean view and beautiful setting without the outdoor elements was exactly what we were looking for. We loved that we were able to use the beach to do bridal party pictures as well. They also have a great bridal suite, we used it as the \"man cave\" for the guys =) But that was great to have that room to get ready. \r\rWe couldn't have been happier with Duke's. Our wedding at Duke's Malibu in December 2014 was absolutely perfect. We had an amazing time and you really can't beat the view! It was absolutely stunning. \r\rThe staff did an excellent job. Madelina, Alessa, and Mia were so helpful through the entire process. Every detail was perfect. They really know what they are doing. I could not have imagined a better day or more perfect location. Everything was so easy- from the smooth set up to the food all being exactly on time, I didn't have to worry about a thing! It was exactly what we wanted, a relaxed atmosphere, a beautiful view, and an elegant wedding. We chose a morning wedding (10am) because we wanted to get the most out of the gorgeous ocean view- we even saw dolphins and sea lions playing in the water. \r\rI had to focus really hard on the ceremony because I knew if I looked out the window I'd get lost in the view. :)\r\rThe only thing I'm sad about is that we didn't get to enjoy the food. It was delicious and everyone loved it, but we were too excited that we just didn't feel like eating much. \r\rWhen looking for a venue, I was starting to get discouraged at all the outrageous prices. I reached out to Duke's thinking \"there's no way we are gonna be able to afford this\" but when I talked to them and got the initial quote, I couldn't believe it. I immediately got excited and thought- \"Wow! We can actually do this!\"\r\rIf you are considering Duke's as an option... DO IT!! It was an awesome experience and everything was so amazing. A really great venue and, in my opinion, a fantastic value. I cannot recommend it enough. \r

I reached out to Duke's thinking \"there's no way we are gonna be able to afford this\" but when I talked to them and got the initial quote, I couldn't believe it. I immediately got excited and thought- \"Wow! We can actually do this!\"\r\rIf you are considering Duke's as an option... DO IT!! It was an awesome experience and everything was so amazing. A really great venue and, in my opinion, a fantastic value. I cannot recommend it enough. \r

We were taken there by the wonderful people at Duke's Malibu, all of who embody the true meaning of Aloha. \r\rFrom the very first meeting, the planning, preparation, and course of the magical evening were joyous and, well, perfect. Not a word to use lightly, but they get it right here at Duke's. They listen to you, graciously correspond with you and your vendors creating your dream vision, they focus on the positive, they are diligent and smart, they are empathetic and kind. \r\rAlessa, Madelina, Rob and all the staff we shared our night with are lovely people who take care in what they do and genuinely wish for you to be happy; they are a family - an Ohana - wanting nothing but the very best for you on your special occasion. They are always available to not only assist with, but to manage the smallest of details that you may have overlooked or stressed over. Together as a team, they combine their expertise, skill, and compassion to seamlessly bring the relaxed, Island vibe to the magnificent Ocean Room sitting atop the Pacific. \r\rThe location is stunning. Walls of glass open to the endless ocean, and you become one with the glorious sunset. This review is for the Ocean Room, the banquet and event staff and of course the Food. \rFirst need to start out by stating that i come from a VERY picky family full of foodies. They know and love good food, there are chefs, pastry chefs and in general people obsessed with the newest and greatest restaurants in la, and around the globe. But to be honest i didnt originally book this location for the food. I booked it for the location, as my son and his bride had a small destination wedding in Hawaii and our large family couldn't attend. So we wanted to continue the beach theme, and Hawaiian ambiance, and this was just a no brainer for the obvious reasons. The VIEWS FROM THE OCEAN ROOM WERE ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING. so next came the part to work with the event staff and work out a menu with our modest budget that would try to appease all the foodies in my family... I cant even begin to tell you that it was SENSATIONAL. every single item, detail was paid attention to in every single detail. The buffet was just gorgeous and food, prepared with love and care. Everything was absolutely delicious. And i mean everything. From the ceasars salad, the string beans they made us with lemon, garlic and olive oil, people were going nuts! the Hawaiian Huli Chicken was moist and nothing was ever left to dry out on the buffet.. the Opa fish, was sensational. The sides were plentiful and the desert of Huli Pie to DIE FOR..... \rSo if that wasnt enough, of having the perfect location, and the food outstanding, the only thing that could make or break an event, is the staff. and the folks working over at Dukes, Madeline, Alessa, Matt, Deanna, and of course the chef and his kitchen staff were absolutely outstanding. Customer service at its finest. They worked with me on the budget, the menu and of course the decoration and set up, with the kindness and professionalism that you can only hope for. I strongly recommend this as a great location for any event.\r\rThis is an honest review, i live in another state and no one i know works at dukes nor did anyone in our party know anything or refer me to them.

Was spectacular! Madelina and Alessa at Duke's think of everything! I used Scott Norris as my DJ and he is a magical DJ who really kept the event moving. Food is delicious, tables looked very pretty. The Ocean room is amazing with 180 views of the water. A Whale and a baby whale even swam up during lunch with some dolphins. The day was glorious!

Duke's Malibu is a great location! Food is amazing. 20% mandatory gratuity is acceptable but bartender still had a tip jar. Had a few issues with the servers (they threw away my cake topper even though I told them not to as they were walking away with the cake then claimed \"no one told them to keep it\"). Overall I was happy and many guests thought it was the best wedding they had ever been to.

Madelina and her staff our wonderful. She met with us several times as was very patient, helpful, and creative in planning our wedding. She even designed a new gluten free menu just for us, which is now available.\r\rWe did a buffet with Ono fish, hulu chicken, and a beef carving station. The food was fantastic and we our guests raved about it.\r\rThe staff was very professional and fun and worked well with our other vendors.\r\rAbove all else, the location is amazing and your guests will not be disappointed.

Overall we were very pleased with Duke's for our wedding. The planning process went seamless. Their staff was very accommodating and willing to work with us with anything we asked. The day of the event was the only time we say a few hiccups. It was nothing to cost the wedding or make it anything short of memorable. But there were a few problems that stuck out.... all dealing with the food and catering management. During our cocktail hour we had cheese and crackers as one of our appetizers. Unfortunately the crackers never made it out, even after we brought this to their attention. For dinner, we had a pesto pasta as one of our buffet options. However, pesto was not the sauce on the pasta. They still claim that it was, but we know the difference between pesto and a white cream sauce and what we got was not pesto. But it still tasted good and no one would have know the difference (we just knew it was not what we tried and ordered during our tasting). The last unfortunate thing to happen was that our cake was not served until 45min after the cake cutting. My mother had to go knock on the kitchen door to ask them to serve it. This was probably the most unfortunate thing since at that point people had already started leaving and never got cake. We had an AMAZING cake that we were really hoping to share with our family and friends. There were a few other minor details that didn't happen or had their mistakes. But at the end of the day, we looked past that and were very happy with the wedding. We got more than we paid for and I would definitely use Duke's again for another event.

So many of my guests said it was the best wedding food they ever ate! The staff is so friendly and they took care of EVERYTHING! You can't go wrong planning an event there.

Duke's was flexible with storing decoration supplies ahead of time, early arrival for setup and last minute changes. Dukes was the most wonderful place for our wedding and I am so happy we picked it. We wanted a beach wedding but didn't want to chance bad weather or people interfering with the ceremony, so Dukes offered the best alternative. Everything was set up so beautifully, and the staff did everything to make sure we were having a good time and everything was running great. I loved the dolphins and sea lions that were swimming around during our ceremony, it was just beautiful.

Dukes was the most wonderful place for our wedding and I am so happy we picked it. We wanted a beach wedding but didn't want to chance bad weather or people interfering with the ceremony, so Dukes offered the best alternative.
