Eagles Landing offers floor to ceiling windows with picturesque lakeside views; beautiful, contemporary interiors featuring a wood burning fireplace; and an outdoor deck spanning the entire width of the venue make a perfect spot for a small ceremony or cocktail hour.
This is perfect for an unforgettable event with an option to rent the outdoor amphitheater with room for a large outdoor ceremony where guest can watch as your say your "I Do's" lakeside. Venue can accommodate 192 guest banquet style (without dance floor) or 160 Guest Banquet style (with dance floor).
The was an absolutely gorgeous venue! We did our ceremony at the Upper Lawn and loved being able to walk back down to the reception building by all of the waterfalls. It was also incredibly easy to work with - everyone at Eagle's Landing was friendly, great resources for suggestions when I needed them, and it was a huge relief having access to the building for the entire day. The location is great for those in the KC area wanting to avoid downtown. Outdoors are beautiful and there’s plenty of parking. The open catering policy is great for bar and food flexibility. It would’ve been nice to have better communication from venue management at times. Responses to questions usually came by email within a few days but I would really recommend the staff be given work cell phones so they could be reached during work hours when they were not at the specific wedding venue. Our plan was to use the amphitheater for our outdoor ceremony and the venue inside for our reception but the weather had other plans. Amanda Wallace(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-12-2022 Eagles Landing is a beautiful place! We loved that it wasn’t by any busy loud roads and it has a gorgeous view of the lake. Our guests were in awe at this gorgeous venue! The lake was even a perfect view during our winter wedding! There was plenty of space and we liked that there weren’t any restrictions on caterers and that we were able to provide our own alcohol, which helped us save money. Reviewed on 27-01-2023
Saige Dixon(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 14-10-2022 ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE WITH THIS VENUE. The day I laid eyes on this venue was the day I knew that I would be getting married here. My husband was adamant that we would not be getting married outside but when he saw this venue he decided as well that we needed to get married outside. The venue is stunning with fantastic lake side views, it was so incredibly clean, organized, and the whole team was extremely kind. The only issue I would mention is they were not able to get outside chairs for the wedding although we booked with them as soon as possible and were hoping that they would have them by the time of our wedding (they mentioned they were in the process of trying to buy a set) BUT with that being said I would still 100000% book with them again! I have recommended them countless times and will continue to do so! Reviewed on 21-12-2022

Alexandria Huskey(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-09-2022 We absolutely loved having our wedding at Eagle's Landing! We had our ceremony on a Sunday morning out by the lake and had our brunch reception inside the venue. We loved the beautiful windows which provided a lot of natural light inside. We did have to provide our own chairs and sound equipment for the ceremony outside which required some extra work. We had 150 guests, and it was the perfect size for a more intimate experience. The price is affordable and definitely worth the money. We had a lot of kids at our ceremony, and they had a great time utilizing the splashpad near by in the afternoon. We would pick Eagle's Landing again! Reviewed on 01-10-2022

Angel Thomas(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 23-04-2022 We booked with Eagles Landing at Lake Olathe, and we're glad we did! There are several reasons why we picked it—we could get ready onsite (small bridal party) while decorating that morning, beautiful outdoor area for a ceremony next to the lake, new and modern construction with floor-to-ceiling windows for a reception, plenty of walkable locations for photos (there are waterfalls!), and an open catering and alcohol policy. It was the most affordable and most efficient wedding location for our guest count (about 120) in the Kansas City area (trust me, we hunted!) My only criticism—and why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5—is that if you're a planner and like to get ahead on things like me, the vendor lead can be hard to get in touch with. Once it was the month-of for us, she was more responsive, but any earlier than that, I had to send multiple emails or call the front office to track her down. Overall, though, we had a great experience! If you have a mid-size guest count (no bigger than 150) and a small bridal party (no bigger than 3 on each side), you might consider this venue as your one-stop-shop—you won't regret it! Kimberly Caler(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-04-2022 Eagles Landing at Lake Olathe was the perfect place for our wedding. The option of outdoor or indoor ceremony at one location is very convenient. The view is absolutely beautiful. So many great photo ops. Bride and groom dressing rooms are very nice. Spacious kitchen area. There are lots of lighting options. We used the audio/vision option and played our own downloaded music to save on a DJ. We received numerous compliments on the venue. The people from the venue were very easy to work with. They were helpful and able to answer all of our questions. We originally rented for the full day (Saturday) but since we would not be able to get in until 10:00am that day, we rented Friday evening for rehearsal and set up. Tables and chairs are provided. However, if you have your ceremony outside you have to bring your own chairs as the ones they have are for indoor only. They do not provide linens. Our guests also really loved being able to use the outside space and being able to spread out. It is the PERFECT place for an indoor-outdoor celebration. We also used the beaver creek shelter on the park property for the rehearsal dinner/family picnic the day before. One thing to note: they do not provide chairs for outdoor ceremonies. Pros: Affordable considering venue size/beauty, open vendor policies (allowed us to self-cater and bring in our own alcohol), plenty of places for scenic wedding photosCons: No opportunity to do a wedding rehearsal the day before, nothing is provided other than tables and indoor chairs (though perfect for DIY brides like me) Reviewed on 19-10-2021

We got married in early November and we absolutely loved the venue for both our ceremony and reception . The venue itself, along with the lake, patio, windows, and fireplace offered great opportunities for pictures. We have gotten so many compliments from our guests about the venue and how perfect it was. The rooms where the bridal party got ready were very roomy.
