Eden Gardens is an outdoor wedding venue located in Moorpark, CA. Conveniently situated just minutes off of Highway 101, this beautiful lush garden event space is Ventura County’s hidden gem. Nestled in the hills between Thousand Oaks and Santa Barbara, the property is 30 minutes from Los Angeles. Host your event on our 4 acre garden property surrounded by palms, birds of paradise, ferns, pepper trees, and rose bushes, crisscrossed with meandering paths and babbling brooks. At the center of the venue lies the crystalline pond, which makes for a romantic backdrop to your celebration of love. The venue is suited to wedding celebrations as small as 50 or as large as up to 300 guests. Rachel (Venue Manager) was so helpful from the time of the tour to the end of my wedding date. She is a super fast communicator - which is critical when you are a bride with an overwhelming number of tasks to complete and decisions to make! Eden Gardens is a truly unique venue with expansive gardens, fairy lights and bubbling fountains all across the property, and new places for guests to explore at every turn. It was super important to me that my guests felt \"immersed\" into a new world, not just walking into an old golf club or reception hall; Eden Gardens truly makes you feel like you are strolling through a fairytale land the second you enter through their beautiful entry arches. Not to mention, Command Performance Catering (under the management of Jesus Serrano) did an OUTSTANDING job with all of the food from cocktail hour through reception; it is definitely not standard wedding food. My husband and I, along with MANY of our guests, were raving about the food on the wedding day and beyond. I was impressed that Jesus even made it a point to look over our menu and gifted us with an extra side dish because he wanted to make sure our guests left full. Extremely well done.Eden Gardens has a partnership with Velvet Alley Events. I want to make a shout out to our day-of coordinator that we were assigned, Kalen Lewis, as she was fantastic. Every moment of our wedding day ran smoothly; she is both assertive and kind (incredibly important traits when working with large parties), always looking to make sure the bride and groom are being supported throughout the event. She was a rockstar!The only reason I took one star off is because it wasn't clear that the partnership with Velvet Alley was \"included\" but really didn't cover the total fee in the end. If you have \"extra\" set up, you have to pay for additional workers which can add up quickly and didn't seem too negotiable. I'm glad to have had the extra pair of hands so my friends and family could sit back and enjoy the wedding, but it was stressful learning only a month before the wedding that there was a large extra fee to pay because of the decor I hoped to be set up (there were a number of things, but nothing out of the ordinary for a wedding :) ).Overall, I would recommend Eden Gardens to engaged couples who are looking for a venue that really WOWs your guests!

This enchanting garden oasis, straight out of a fairytale, captured our hearts instantly. Rachel and her team were a pleasure to work with, providing seamless communication and transparency on pricing, a rarity in the wedding industry. Not only was their pricing competitive, but the level of service we received was truly unmatched.Our guests were in awe of the breathtaking venue and its lush gardens. Command Performance and Velvet Alley provided exceptional service. The option to bring our own alcohol saved us a substantial amount of money, and the quality of the food was exceptional. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the delicious cuisine and the impeccable treatment they received from the staff.If you're searching for the perfect venue for your special day, we wholeheartedly recommend Eden Gardens. Eden Gardens is ABSOLUTELY beautiful, and my pictures really show that. The venue is large and beautiful great for those like the botanical garden feel. The guest would not stop raving about how beautiful it is. It is one of the most underrated venues in the Ventura County and one I would recommend to anyone. It is covered in greenery, water features, peacocks, love birds and so many other cool features. They have a cottage on site for the bride to get ready in which makes it simpler for photos and everyone being there when they are supposed to be. They also had a groom’s bungalow that was a trailer on the property where the guys could hang out and my husband said he had a good time. Eden Gardens has it all when it comes to a wedding venue, I would recommend checking it out to see if would meet your needs too!

We picked Eden Gardens as our wedding venue because we marveled at the lush, beautiful foliage and assortment of plants in the garden. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, and we felt transported to a new world as we toured the venue. The outdoor venue was preferable in consideration of our guests’ health and safety due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There are paved pathways that made it easy for us and our guests to navigate from the ceremony to the pavilion where the cocktail hour was held, and to the outdoor amphitheater for the reception. We rented the onsite bridal cottage for the bridal party to get ready on the wedding day, and the remodeled cottage included a beauty room for the hair and makeup team to work in. The venue was a beautiful setting for our wedding photos, and our guests gave us overwhelming positive reviews about how breathtaking the garden was

Walking into Eden Gardens I knew it was THE venue for our wedding!The grounds are lush and beautiful! It was a great surprise for our guest to come in and see the beautiful peacocks. We got so many complements on how beautiful the whole night was! I could not be happier!

If you're looking for an outdoor garden wedding, this is the place for you! We were searching for so many places with this \"theme\" and saw at least 8 in LA and could not find one that actually fits what we wanted. Eden Gardens was a bit farther than we'd like, BUT after seeing the gorgeous photos we had to go and see for ourselves. Right when we parked, we immediately knew. This was going to be the venue we'd get married at. It was BEAUTIFUL. A green oasis in the middle of the valley and desert almost. It was unreal. George and Kay were extremely helpful in walking us around the venue and showing us all the beautiful decor that were purposefully put there. Ceremony site- We were married around 5pm and it was nice and shaded for everyone. Absolutely beautiful Reception Area: Large and spacious and provided a natural dance floor. Beautiful bistro lighting is strung through the whole area and provided a great ambiance Pavilion- There is a large pavilion that can hold 200 people in case it rains (so thoughtful for them to include when planning the venue) this is also an area for the groom and groomsmen to lounge while waiting for the wedding to start Overall I could not think of a more perfect venue to have been married at. Eden Gardens is a phenomenal venue and I would 100% recommend it to anyone!

Our venue was perfect. Everyone complimented how magical and beautiful it was. If you are looking for lush green and floral landscape with gorgeous twinkle lights and pure magic this is your place. We fell in love with it instantly and knew it was the place for us. My only complaint, but not worth knocking a star is that the \"bridal suite\" is a trailer and there's not really enough room to get ready in there so you will have to get ready offsite or rent the house on property for an extra fee. Looking back now that's what I would have done even just to get a bit more time with my photographers.

Eden Gardens Weddings is an extremely beautiful, magical, quaint, and serene location for a wedding or any romantic event. Words cannot express our gratitude to them for opening up to us when our original venue was changed days before my daughter's wedding (d/t the Woolsey Fires) and it was Thanksgiving week! We met Kay, the coordinator for the site on Wednesday and could not have felt more at ease at a very stressful time. The managers of the site, George and Debra, made sure everything was perfect even after the venue had been closed for the season! The love of and welcoming spirit at Eden Gardens Weddings is evident in the care given to the beautiful and luscious tropical gardens. The Gardens' crew also made sure anything we needed was in place, including mopping up spills faster than I could believe! The security company was also very helpful and unobtrusive. The location of Eden Gardens Weddings is well worth the easy drive on the 23. The description on the Eden Gardens' website perfectly describes the venue. The flow from arrival and gathering in the aviary to progressing to the lawn, and then on to the cocktail area and reception areas was flawless. The lighting is stunning! Our dinner reception was held under the roofed area and our guests remained warm with the use of heaters. The dressing areas were perfect (we rented the on-site house for hair and make-up preparation). Our guests fell in love with our new venue and were as enchanted as we were! Definitely a wonderful location for a wedding.

We worked directly with Kay Nielsen and Soltana Mulhearn. They are true professionals and made sure our event was everything we dreamt of and more. Their exclusive caterer, Command Performance, had a huge menu to choose from and served delicious foods in an efficient and high-quality way. Eden Gardens also recommends amazing bakers, dj services, and more. We absolutely loved working with them and seeing our vision come true on the most magical night of our lives.

Eden Gardens is a breathtaking location for a wedding. With its gorgeous greenery, twinkling lights, and white peacocks, Eden Gardens was the perfect setting for our whimsical fairytale wedding. We worked directly with Kay Nielsen and Soltana Mulhearn. They are true professionals and made sure our event was everything we dreamt of and more. Their exclusive caterer, Command Performance, had a huge menu to choose from and served delicious foods in an efficient and high-quality way. Eden Gardens also recommends amazing bakers, dj services, and more. We absolutely loved working with them and seeing our vision come true on the most magical night of our lives.

Me and my husband got married here on July 7th of this year. Kay was very sweet and very responsive to questions. This place was absolutely stunning. The gardens are immaculate with beautiful blooms. The multiple fountains and ponds were gorgeous. We got so many compliments on our venue and were so happy with it. It was 104 degrees on our day,but it was still beautiful. The only thing that could be improved was the grooms dressing area. It's outdoor, and can be really hot. The other thing that is pretty common with most venues is that you have to use their catering company and coordinator. But we were able to select our own DJ, photographer, and cake. Overall, we were very happy with our choice to have our wedding here.

We stumbled on this place. We knew we wanted the food catered by Command Performance, and this was one of the venues they cater. It was our first stop, and the only one we needed. The venue is absolutely unreal. It's a hidden away gem in Moorpark. You'd never know it was there. The gardens are gorgeous, the lake and water fountains are just magical, the white peacocks and aviary are a beautiful touch, and my husband (the fisherman) was sold with the koi fish in the pond. I can't wait to see our pictures from this place. Kay was a great resource and helped move the process along nicely. Items for consideration: I should state that the venue and caterer are cash only. This was a bit of a headache for us, but it may not be a headache for everybody. The venue, as it is outdoors, is only available until 10:30 or 11 pm and there is a noise ordinance and a volume limit for the dj. You will have to pay for security and for parking/valet. It will be almost impossible to get only 100 guests to park their cars (as they count guests, not cars), so plan to get the valet which will be about $1,000 or more. The venue is a bit out of the way, so unless you live in one of the neighboring towns it'll be a bit to Uber. One of the hotels in the area provides a limited shuttle for their hotel guests to go back and forth to the venue. All in all, the place was beautiful and our guests felt transported to a secret hideaway paradise: what every couple hopes to create.

With most family from both sides come in in from out of state, we needed a venue that could manage a possible large fluctuation in the final headcount. Additionally, this venue included a day of coordinator, food and rentals, while allowing/requiring us to be responsible for drinks, photographer, DJ, flowers, and officiant. It was the perfect combination for what is now the best night of our lives, and something our guests are still raving about!

My husband and I looked at a number of venues in the Ventura County/Los Angeles area, before finally settling on Eden Gardens.\r\rIt is a beautiful oasis, with a LOT of spectacular photo taking opportunities. It's actually been designed specifically for weddings. You move clockwise around the venue, from the ceremony area, to cocktail hour, and then finally, to the reception.\r\rThe only real mixed bag is the peacocks at the entrance. They're a beautiful, fun twist...but they can be loud, and they're close enough to the ceremony area that, if they're particularly rambunctious, you may hear them during it (They were actually on the loud side the day of my wedding). But everything else about the venue more than makes up for that.\r\rThe garden is gorgeous and lush. There are beautiful Grecian statues and fountains at various locations. The dance floor is spacious, and, if you're unlucky enough to get rain in Southern California, there's a contingency plan--a huge covered area next to the regular reception area.\r\rI actually had two of my bridesmaids (who live out of state), tell me that they wanted to steal the venue for themselves when they got married someday. I'd be quite excited if I ever had the opportunity to return.

My husband and I looked at a number of venues in the Ventura County/Los Angeles area, before finally settling on Eden Gardens.\r\rIt is a beautiful oasis, with a LOT of spectacular photo taking opportunities. It's actually been designed specifically for weddings. You move clockwise around the venue, from the ceremony area, to cocktail hour, and then finally, to the reception.\r\rThe only real mixed bag is the peacocks at the entrance. When you step into Eden Gardens it's like stepping into a whole different world. It was definitely the venue of my dreams...perfect for my dream wedding :) From the water fountains, birds, peacocks, lakeview, to the detailed amphitheatre area it is one of most beautiful garden venues you will see. Kay, the onsite coordinator is beyond amazing and so helpful. I would not have been able to do my wedding without her! There is onsite catering at Eden Gardens, done by Command Performance. For those of you that are not familiar their food is delicious. One of the wedding favorites was the jalapeno mac n cheese. Command Performance is not your average wedding food that no one wants to eat. I have received soo many compliments on how delicious the food was! Abby is the catering coordinator and she was wonderful. She helped us come up with ideas on how to set up the table and was always only a phone call or email away. Everyone absolutely loved Eden Gardens...although they all had heard me talk about how beautiful it was, it blew everyone away!
