My husband and I had our Christmas-themed wedding at the Eden on December 10th of this past year, and I can’t sing the praises of the wedding coordinators, concierges, catering and janitorial staff enough. From start to finish we felt genuinely cared for by everyone in the resort...and I know how often they host weddings, but each and every person on the Eden team accommodated us in such a joyful way; as if we were the only wedding in the building. And it felt like they were sincerely happy for us. Which made the day feel really, really special. Madeline and Felicia, our wedding/day-of coordinators, attended to every last detail of the day, making sure that absolutely nothing was missed. They were present, intentional, flexible, and at times even borderline protective of me and my family. And that’s anything a bride could ever ask for. I couldn’t be more grateful.As far as the planning process goes: as a project manager, I very much appreciated the explicit, direct nature of their policies and procedures. After offering me several tours of the venue (MOB was from out of town and MOG wanted to see it on separate occasions) and answering all of my many many questions via phone and email, we had several formal meetings to comb through all the details and make sure we were on the same page. Maddie was able to help me delegate and manage my expectations, especially when it came to who was responsible for what, and even then bent over backwards to help me and my bridal party with day-of tasks.With that (and some previous reviews) in mind, if I can be so bold as to give the DIY bride a tip: be crystal clear about your expectations of your venue, and understand that venue will in turn have behavioral expectations of you, your guests, and your parties. Planning a wedding is a collaborative process and every single vendor you hire is a human being, so it’s imperative that you treat them with respect and give them what they need to do their jobs. It's 2022: we're not pushing around staff and management like we own them just because we paid them money. Leave that ish in 1995.It would behoove every bride and merrier to practice patience, thorough communication, and empathy for their vendors. Especially during what has been a very rough time for them. Good advice for marriage, too. ;)Anyhoo-thanks again to everyone on The Eden Resort & Suites staff. You were such a crucial part of our big day and we appreciate your hard work!

We just got married a few weeks ago and I cannot put into words how incredible everything was. The wedding coordinators were so kind, helpful and responsive during the entire process (shoutout to Tina, Darian and Jason!). Leading up the the wedding and rehearsal they were very organized and helped make everything go so smoothly. The day of the wedding, they checked in very frequently making sure everything was going as planned which helped give us some peace during the day! The concierge staff and catering were also amazing making sure we had drinks, food and everything throughout the evening. Such an amazing venue and stay!!

It was my dream since I was little to have my wedding in the Eden’s gorgeous courtyard. It’s hard to imagine a more perfect venue that brings all of the beauty of an outdoor garden terrace indoors. Katie and the rest of the Eden staff were simply wonderful. I got a chance to chat with several of the staff which made everything feel so personal, showing that they really cared and weren’t just there to do a job. The food was also really great and there was more of it than we could have imagined! Our bartender was also so great, keeping the fun going through the reception with our signature drinks. A big thanks to Katie and the rest of the Eden staff for a magical night!

LOVED LOVED LOVED this venue!! This place is an all in 1 stop providing set up/tear down, food, alcohol, dessert & more! It's worth every penny! The Eden has the most wonderful & attentive team who is with you from start to finish. I was a Covid bride which made things a little unique, but the Eden updated me throughout the entire process & was easy to communicate with. We had both our ceremony & reception in the courtyard. The night prior to our wedding, I brought all my centerpieces, signs, decorations, etc to the Eden & they took it from there. I LOVED this because I didn't have to set up a single thing, so I could truly sit back, relax, & enjoy my day! We decided on the Grand Buffet which was absolutely delicious, but there are many other dinner plated options to choose from too. The Eden made our wedding such a breeze & it was such a BEAUTIFUL venue. Our guests still rave about how much fun they had & how great our wedding was! I would highly recommend the Eden to anyone planning a wedding!

I will start with saying we were originally scheduled to get married in October of 2020 but due to Covid our reception was pushed back to October 2021. In the beginning of the planning process Allison was extremely helpful, especially during the ever changing Covid guidelines. As our day got closer the wedding coordinator changed which made things a little bit difficult since we had worked with Allison for the past year and a half. Ultimately on our wedding day (reception) one of our entrees was forgotten about (prime rib- of which they only reimbursed for $5/person), only two out of four tiers of our wedding cake were cut after guests were told that we had run out, and most importantly there were discrepancies of our room situation in which we did not even get to stay in our free room for the night- instead we had to stay in a villa in the very back of the resort, of which it rained and made it difficult for the bridal party to get over to the ceremony without getting wet. We then had to fight for not having to pay for the villa since no other rooms were available that night and they had accidentally canceled the room reservation for the groom. Any time there was an issue it seemed as if communication was seriously lacking among the different departments. We were also told by several guests that the bartender was extremely rude and was found to be packing up the bar before our specified amount of time was even over. Overall, the courtyard did look beautiful on the day of and most of the staff were very nice and helpful, but after waiting an extra year we felt very disappointed in the end.

THEY DROPPED MY WEDDING CAKE! I received no apology or reimbursement. They just wrapped a mangled cake in plastic and gave it to me. Imagine having that cake for your anniversary. I informed management and the response was \"someone must've move the tablecloth\". Several of my wedding guest recorded the cake falling. My wedding coordinator included with booking the package, was over 2 hours late and not available most of the day. After I walked down the aisle she was no where to be found. The fountain suite reserved for my wedding party was never cleaned from the last wedding. The counter tops, carpet and bathroom were dirty upon entering. I was never issued a key after asking several times. We had to leave the door open all day to prevent us from being locked out. When I asked the coordinator for water for the suite she said that's not our normal policy. I found that strange because I had appetizers and alcohol delivered to the room as part of my wedding package. They did not allow us to set up food and drinks in the area reserved for the after party. And they also closed the area early before my reservation ended. They served my dinner 1.5 hours late and this was after I asked the one of the servers when will dinner be served. To top it all off my villa smelled like dirty laundry. Bring plenty fabreeze. My over all assessment is there is no accountability with staff and management. Service is slow, unhospitable and unavailable. My experience was shared with the management team and I received a boat load of excuses but no responsibility or compensation for their short comings and mistakes. For great service and hospitality, I would suggest you book at another resort down the street.

My husband and I just had our wedding here on 11.16.19 and it was absolutely amazing! The food was great, the venue was beautiful, and the staff was so helpful and accommodating to all of our requests. One of the staff members even went out to a florist a few hours before my wedding to get me a bouquet that I could toss and they even made sure it looked just like my own! I couldn’t have asked for a better place to have my wedding at. It was everything that I wanted and even more! Our guests even said that it was such a beautiful venue and they all had a blast. I 100% recommend the Eden Resort to have a wedding at!

I was a hands on DIY bride so I was stressed about all the small things I couldn’t do myself day of. Shelby and the kitchen staff made sure all those loose ends we’re tied up and perfect for me to walk down the aisle. The reception hall was also set up SO nicely with the plates, napkins and more. Grinning ear to ear the whole night! Great venue and BEST bang for your buck in the Lancaster area. Seriously.

Superb customer service since our first meeting. Its was affordable and elegant. My guest are still talking about it a week later. Superb customer service since our first meeting. Its was affordable and elegant. My guest are still talking about it a week later. We are thrilled we chose to have our wedding reception at the Eden! Shelby, our wedding coordinator was absolutely amazing. We met with her three months before to start ironing out the details. We were able to drop all of our decorations off the week before the wedding, and the staff set it all up for us that day. The event staff were so attentive to my husband and I. Tammy, in particular, was so great to work with. The food was also excellent. There were so many perks to having our reception at the Eden. We can't wait to go back!

The Eden Resort made all of my wedding dreams come true. The Courtyard was exactly what I was looking for and it was a show stopper! It was a cold, rainy November night, but the atmosphere felt like an open outside venue. The food was fantastic and the staff were very attentive. Your wedding won't go exactly as you plan, but the Eden works hard to make sure that it's as close to perfection as it can be. Shelby was amazing and the entire day was such a dream. Easily the best decision I made...next to marrying my husband!

The venue is out of this world beautiful. Our reception was in the courtyard and our ceremony was in the garden terrace. Besides hearing guests tell you how beautiful everything is, be prepared to hear about how they had an amazing time thanks to the great service! My day of coordinator was extremely helpful and so was the wait staff when we were taking pictures they made sure we were supplied with cocktail hour food. Room was great. Guests loved the accommodations. Look no where else if you want to feel like royalty on your big day!

I had a great experience with the Eden Resort. The venue is beautiful and the staff is responsive and helpful. The day of the wedding went smoothly with no problems or issues. Shelby is wonderful and so helpful. The food was delicious and the venue works well with all outside vendors. There is tons of space in the indoor courtyard (fountain room) if you’re having a larger wedding. There is also a nice outdoor garden terrace if you want to have an outdoor ceremony.

I had a great experience with the Eden Resort. The venue is beautiful and the staff is responsive and helpful. The day of the wedding went smoothly with no problems or issues. Shelby is wonderful and so helpful. The food was delicious and the venue works well with all outside vendors. There is tons of space in the indoor courtyard (fountain room) if you’re having a larger wedding. There is also a nice outdoor garden terrace if you want to have an outdoor ceremony.

Great location - 15 minutes from center city Lancaster. Our wedding coordinator Shelby was very friendly and willing to help in any way she could.The only downside was we were not able to bring alcohol ourselves - though for some people it's a bonus for the venue to provide it so they do not have to. Overall, we were very pleased with the Eden!

We recently had our wedding in the courtyard. All night the guests were telling us how beautiful the place was. Even the food was perfect. I highly recommend the beef sirloin. The entire day went smoothly. The wait staff was very attentive, and incredibly nice. Shelby was great to work with through the whole process. She immediately answered all of my emails and was patient when i made changes or had questions. Our day was wonderful, and we couldn't have asked for more.

I signed up for an account solely to help save anyone from picking this location. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. Where to begin...Maybe the Eden used to be a good wedding venue, but the wedding planner currently there is atrocious. When we booked the venue, the wedding planner was someone entirely different, who had been experienced and skilled at what she did. Apparently this wedding planner agreed with us how terrible the venue was- and she quit. The new wedding planner is terrible for the following reasons:1.) Not a single mic was checked: want to hear your best-man's speech? Too bad. Want your Aunt's blessing to be spoken into the chest of the officiant so everyone can hear her over the waterfall the wedding planner forgot to turn off? Then you're in luck! While all of these stories make for memorable stories, they are NOT reflective of the amount of attention to detail a venue like this should have. 2.) I saw my bride SEVERAL times before we got married: Do you like traditions ? Even if you don't (like my bride and myself), there was one tradition we wanted to keep. I did not want to see my bride in her dress until she came down the aisle. However, due to the Wedding Planner not knowing how to plan anything, I saw my bride several times prior to her coming down the aisle. 3.) Our rooms were not ready: None of the rooms we booked were ready on-time for our groomsmen to get ready. We had been forced to go into a temporary room, which was far nicer than the one we booked. Rather than give us the open room for the confusion, they kicked us out with half our stuff still in the room. Oh, and the wedding planner sent the photographer up to get our pictures in all of this chaos, only for her to come in the room while I was naked in the shower. Great planning all-around, clearly. 4.) Too many weddings: the Eden does not care about your wedding being perfect, they care about having as many weddings as possible. Obviously they want all of these weddings to go well, I imagine, but the execution is simply not possible when they jammed FIVE weddings in the same day. It was the most obvious thing in the world that we were hardly the focus of the Eden's attention. If you want a special day catered to you and your S/O, this is not the place for it. Don't let the Eden's sales staff and venue fool you- STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. On paper and in-person, this venue looked like a great choice. However, if you want your money to be well-spent, I guarantee you can do better than this location. Terrible wedding planner, mediocre food, and above average prices make this place not even close to worth it.

My husband and I are not originally from the area so both of our families and a lot of our friends had to travel for the wedding. It was super important for us to have the wedding where everyone could stay. The did give us a block of rooms for the rehearsal night and the night of the wedding. It would have been nice to have the rooms all together but instead we were spread out over the hotel. The do have a pet policy which was important because a few dogs came down as well. The policy wasn't very clear except it being certain rooms, two per room and they needed to be crated. That's all we were told ahead of time. When the dogs barked while we were gone we got in trouble and took two of the dogs home and had to find someone to watch them.\rThe rooms were wonderful and they provided us a room for free since we were married there.\rThe only other thing that happened is when we signed our contract they locked in prices but the prices of rooms when it came time for the wedding for you to book online was less than what we were locked in to so Tina was great and fixed that so we were overcharged.

Our experience with Eden Resort was fantastic. We had a welcome dinner at Eden the day before our wedding, with about 200 guests. We had multiple comments on how wonderful the venue was and on the quality of the food. Moreover, all of the entertainment was very smooth, and people were having such a good time that they wanted to stay for longer.\r\rPlanning with Eden was easy and effortless: both Merle Peduto and Kris Becker sought to our needs, and they were both extremely careful about the details. For example, our families are strict vegetarians, and Merle and Kris repeatedly coordinated with the Chef to look up ingredients for all of the menu items to stick to these dietary restrictions. We went to two different food tastings: on the first tasting, we were concerned that the food needed to be a bit spicier (we're of Indian heritage and our families enjoy food quite spicy). On the next tasting, Kris had coordinated with the Chef to ensure that every last detail of ours was taken care of, and the end result was that our guests absolutely loved the food. In addition to the food quality and our dietary restrictions, we decided to make a last-minute change to the menu about a week prior to the event. Kris was able to accommodate it without any problems.\r\rEden also made sure to accommodate another last-minute request of ours: my uncle is a portrait photographer and wanted to do some portraits in Eden impromptu, and so he called them up and requested a backdrop to be added. Kris coordinated with her staff to personally make sure to see that this was accomplished. \r\rJust as a matter of full disclosure, we did want to point out a couple small issues that came up for us, as it might help other couples:\r- Eden doesn't have a great deal of parking for larger events, and the lots can get full quite easily. We found that some of our guests had to park across the street.\r- Eden's sound system was good for our needs: background music and some speeches. But it would not suffice for a full-fledged DJ setup, which would require a subwoofer. Likewise, we had some problems with one of the mics cutting in and out, and so mics and batteries should be tested beforehand.\r\rIn general, however, we recommend Eden wholeheartedly. They went out of their way to make the planning process easy, comfortable, and transparent; the quality of the food and atmosphere is well worth the price; and the event space is simultaneously sophisticated and fun.

The day after e meet there for a Buffet Brunch at their Courtyard, it was amazing how many options they the quality of their products was obvious. My parents really enjoyed the resort and will be glad to come back when the occasion arrives.

We held our wedding here on July 24. The wedding coordinator, Kris, is just wonderful. Very attentive and on top of responding to emails. The Courtyard was absolutely beautiful and all of our guests loved it. The food was also delicious! There were a few things that were not exactly what I planned for, but overall everything went well. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a beautiful wedding on a budget. We held ours on a Friday from 4-9 and saved a lot of money doing it that way. It was a beautiful backdrop for our day!

I couldn't imagine a better place than the Eden Resort for our wedding. We had both our ceremony and reception in the Courtyard. I asked A LOT of questions throughout the planning process and Kris Becker was so patient and helpful in answering all of them. The day of the wedding, Kris was there to make sure everything went off perfectly. We had some family issues the day of the wedding and I'm so thankful to the Eden staff who went above and beyond when handling the situation. Our banquet captain was so sweet and helpful. In terms of cost, the price is definitely right! You definitely get a lot for your money. Thank you to the entire Eden Resort for everything. We are looking forward to coming back each year on our anniversary.

We had some family issues the day of the wedding and I'm so thankful to the Eden staff who went above and beyond when handling the situation. Our banquet captain was so sweet and helpful. We highly recommend it to anyone we know planning a wedding or any event. The staff is first class and treated us as such. From our first meeting with them to the very end of it all, we were never worried or nervous about anything. We knew all would be taken care of it, because time and time again they did! Our wedding reception was in the indoor Courtyard. The 115 guests easily fit in the space. The food was fantastic. The service was flawless. The wedding package at the Eden is hard to beat - no venue fee, flexible catering and bar options, free linens/escort cards/hotel room for the couple, etc. I will always look back on the reception wishing I could relive the day because everything was perfect!

The wedding package at the Eden is hard to beat - no venue fee, flexible catering and bar options, free linens/escort cards/hotel room for the couple, etc. I will always look back on the reception wishing I could relive the day because everything was perfect!

My husband and I had our wedding reception in the Crystal Ballroom on Memorial Day weekend. It was a dream come true. Everything was set up the way I had pictured it in my mind. Cyndi, the wedding coordinator, was fantastic! She answered all of our questions throughout the planning process. On the day of, I had nothing to worry about. The staff at the Eden was very kind and helpful and the guests loved their food and drinks that the Eden provided. I would definitely recommend the Eden as a wedding venue!

I am not a planner, the thought of a big wedding scared me. We chose the Eden because we loved the courtyard! Cyndi, the wedding coordinator, was always available and always responded to our emails so quickly. On the day of the wedding I was not bothered once. Every question I had was answered quickly and effortlessly. The room was set up exactly how I wanted it. The staff was beyond helpful and amazing. I couldn't have asked for anything else to make my wedding day better and a large reason for that is due to the Eden! I'll recommend them to any bride who is looking for the perfect venue!

My wedding day went off without a hitch thanks to the Eden and it's staff. We had both our ceremony and reception in the Courtyard and it was just beautiful. Our wedding coordinator, Cyndi, was very helpful. Everyone keeps telling us how beautiful everything was, and how wondeful of a time they had. We wish we could do it all over again!

I have to say I was never once worried about the Eden. From the moment we booked our wedding to the day after our wedding, Tina and Cyndi did everything in their power to make sure we had an awesome experience! We had booked our parlor suite for the rehearsal night and the night of the wedding, and it was beautiful and perfect. We also had rehearsal space given to us prior to the wedding. Our wedding day flowed smoothly, as guests came into the Courtyard for our ceremony, then went to the restaurant next door for the cocktail hour as the Courtyard was being set-up for the reception. All the guests commented on how wonderful the food was, how quick and courteous the service was, and how much fun everyone had!! We had a morning after breakfast that flowed smoothly and was scrumptious! We even had a guest who had to get rushed to the hospital on the night of the wedding, and a staff member from the Eden took the guest to the hospital, and even stayed with them for awhile. On top of that, the room the guest booked was given to the guest's daughter while he was admitted to the hospital with no extra charge! I cannot say enough amazing things about the staff and service we received at the Eden! Thank you again x 1000!

In searching for a venue in the Lancaster area, my husband and I checked out about 3 or 4 venues before making an appointment at the Eden. It was important for us to hold our event at a venue where our guests could have overnight accommodations. As soon as we met with lovely Tina in the Courtyard room, we were SOLD and our search was over. \r\rThe room itself stunned our guests with its gorgeous fountain, twinkling lights. They enjoyed the effect of the setting sun through the skylight windows, transitioning the room from sunny day into a romantic night. The food was incredible - two of our friends said the Filet was the best cut of steak they've had yet. The service was top of the line. \r\rAside from delivering an evening that looked and felt like a million bucks, the Eden is surprisingly affordable! They offer completely customizable menu options so you'll fit within any budget. We paid a fraction for top-of-the line menu choices at the Eden than what we would have for chicken at nearby venues (ahem, Leola). \r\rSunday Brunch in the Courtyard was the proverbial icing on the cake - the food choices were staggering and our guests were even more impressed with the Eden than they had been the night before. \r\rOur day was seamless, flawless, and completely enjoyed by all. To do it all over again, I wouldn't host our wedding reception anywhere else. Believe me, your guests will think you broke the bank on this one. I can't say enough great things about the Eden. Thank you to Tina and Cyndi!!!

Since moving to Lancaster, I fell in love with the area, the people and the overall excellent hospitality. When I got engaged, I thought about having my wedding back where I grew up, but couldn't resist sharing Lancaster with my family and friends. Over 95% of our wedding guests were from out of town and they all raved about what a great experience they had at our wedding. I could not have asked for a more perfect evening. Tina was excellent in working with us to decide on a package and answered all the questions we had (and we had a lot!) with a smile and absolute certainty. When we met with Cyndi, she really fine tuned everything for us and literally made the day worry free. All of the staff was friendly including the servers and our banquet captain. They really make you not have a worry in the world and were very accommodating to a few of our guests who had special dietary needs. We held our reception in the Courtyard and the room was breathtaking. Besides our DIY centerpieces, we didn't have to add a thing to decorate the place! \rOur guests loved it! They raved about the food, the hospitality, the amenities (including the outdoor pool that opened the day of our wedding), the accommodations, and they loved breakfast the next morning at Arthur's Terrace. \rThe Eden Resorts has everything you could need. The 2 excellent restaurants and bars were right there and those that stayed at the hotel really made the most of it. \r\rAt this point I am so sad it is all over and am desperately finding excuses to go back and stay at the Eden! Luckily they offer incredible getaway packages and are so welcoming that it will definitely be my family's hotel of choice when visiting. I would recommend any bride who wants a worry free wedding day and very satisfied guests to book at the Best Western Eden Resorts and Suites. I know all of their banquet rooms are beautiful, I just can't say enough about the Courtyard. It left me wanting for nothing.

The Eden was amazing! We had our reception in the courtyard room, which was absolutely beautiful. Both Tina and Cyndi, the wedding coordinators, were so so nice and very responsive and helpful. All staff were attentive and made the night run so smoothly. They even packaged up some food for me that I didn't have time to eat so I could have it for later :) It helped us so much to save 25% for having our reception on a Friday too. Our special day was so much more than I ever could have imagined!!

I used the Eden for my rehearsal dinner in Arthurs, my ceremony in the President Ballroom and reception in the Courtyard! The Courtyard is a breath-taking room, which we received countless compliments on, especially the fountain! \rThe buffet-style food was delicious and I was surprised how much variety we got for a very affordable price (it also helped to get married on a Sunday and in March). \rThe Eden provides a list of ideal vendors in the area. This is helpful and take advantage of the list as the vendors are familiar with the venue and a great relationship has already been formed for you.\rWe were given a room to stay in the night after our wedding and they upgraded us to a Villa (this is also where the bridesmaids got ready beforehand). They truly take care of you there!\rOverall, the Eden Resort was extremely accommodating with all of our requests and I would HIGHLY recommend this venue to someone looking for an elegant, yet simple wedding.

From the initial sales meeting through the day of the wedding, my experience working with the Eden has been fantastic. Tina, our sales rep was very thorough, explained all our options, and answered questions promptly. Since we booked 10 months prior to our wedding, there was a long “waiting” period between signing the agreements and the day of the wedding.. but when we were three months out, I was contacted by our event coordinator, Cyndi, and she was amazing. Accommodating and prompt in her responses (we communicated mostly by email), we were very confident in her ability to execute the event given her exceptional organization skills and follow up. On the wedding day, I knew that everything would go great when my husband and I were greeted at the entrance upon our arrival by our event captain. She escorted us to our room, and waited on our every need. I can’t comment enough on the level of service provided by the Eden- everyone, from the General Manager to the housekeeping staff said “hello, how are you today, is there anything I may assist you with.” From my experience assisting my friends with wedding planning, the Eden has by far exceeded other local venues with quality and service. \rNote: We had a higher end meal & beverage package between 10-20k, but the Eden provides many options to fit different budgets.

From the wedding planning to the execution of the day of, everyone we worked with was a class act. They were able to accommodate all of our wishes for our wedding reception. We used the Grande Ballroom for the reception and it was easily able to handle our number of guests, which was just shy of 200. For anyone that is not from the area, the vendor list that the Eden provided really helped in determining the other vendors we selected as the Eden has had many good experiences with the other recommended vendors. I would not expect the staff to help you plan your wedding as they do not have a wedding planner on staff, but they do excel in the execution of the wedding day.

Our wedding was in Lancaster PA and I knew that we wanted our reception at the Eden Resort. It is a beautiful hotel, very clean, and classy. The coordinators there were very easy to work with. Everyone was so nice leading up to the event and including the event. People came up to us a lot asking if they could do anything for us and whatever we needed it would be done ot gotten. I have never been so impressed with a vendor. I would highly recommend people to use the Eden Resorts and Suites for their wedding reception. You won't regret it. Trust us!

The Eden Resort exceeded my expectations. The Resort was beautiful and the service was great. Throughout the reception, the staff periodically came to my table and to the tables of my guests and made sure that everything was ok. My guests approached me during the reception to tell me how great the service was. The staff really helped make sure that everything ran smoothly. I am very pleased with Eden Resort's staff and rooms. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
