Book this for your wedding!!!! You will not regret it! I’m literally still 10 months later dreaming about our wedding day here! It’s such a glorious place and they run it like a well oiled machine you literally have to worry about nothing. The entire process they were hands on and helpful, this is also why Shannon smith events was so successful with our day, they work together like two peas in a pod! Her and Lindsey could run the world if they wanted to lol! Book them! You will not regret it!

Words can not describe how amazing El Chorro is! We got married in the Herb Garden/Classroom venue and it was so beautiful and very private! Our guests were also raving about the food saying it was the best wedding food they ever had! The short ribs and salmon were both such a hit! And everyone LOVED the sticky buns! The service was also impeccable! Someone from the wait staff was even there to serve us hors d'oeuvres in between taking pictures! I would HIGHLY recommend El Chorro!!!

Words can not describe how amazing El Chorro is! We got married in the Herb Garden/Classroom venue and it was so beautiful and very private! Our guests were also raving about the food saying it was the best wedding food they ever had! The short ribs and salmon were both such a hit! And everyone LOVED the sticky buns! The service was also impeccable! Someone from the wait staff was even there to serve us hors d'oeuvres in between taking pictures! I would HIGHLY recommend El Chorro!!!

If you're contemplating this as your wedding venue, look no further. Sticky buns and your wedding venue - it's a no brainer! I had searched and toured what felt like every venue in Arizona. We finally came to El Chorro and fell in love. We'd eaten dinner here before but never explored the venue spaces. Once we toured we knew this was it. Every inch of the grounds are stunning, and the Herb Garden / Bocce Bar side is so intimate it made for the perfect Al Fresco Garden wedding under the stars. It couldn't have been more perfect. The El Chorro team was so organized and easy to work with from the start. Our food tasting was so much fun (the food is outstanding) and it was really easy to work with the venue to update guest count, food selections, etc. The rehearsal and day of went off without a hitch. We loved all of the staff that were at our event, they were having a blast and engaging with guests! We got a few of our sneak peek photos back and the venue makes the photos look so incredible. Couldn't have pictured a better venue! Thank you to the entire El Chorro team!

The pictures alone from this venue already say enough, but I will add just a few more words. My husband and I found El Chorro from an online search and immediately fell in love with the venue pictures. Lindsey was our main contact at El Chorro and she was absolutely fantastic to work with. She was on top of everything and very responsive with communication. One of the main reasons besides the pictures of El Chorro that really stood out to us, was the ease and flow of the floor plan. It was very important to us to select a venue that didn’t feel closed or sectioned off, and rather more of an open, airy floor plan. We had our sunset ceremony on the lawn, cocktails on the patio, and dinner and dancing inside with the massive wall doors which opened the indoor and outdoor space for late night dancing. Provided as an add on to our package through the venue, we had a cigar bar which was a huge success. The only negative I may add was regarding our dinner- we decided to go with the short rib and the salmon dish. The short rib was such a huge hit, but the salmon however tasted slightly over cooked and was dry. But overall, everything else was fantastic. We are so glad we chose El Chorro for our wedding venue, and the number of compliments we received from vendors and guests regarding the place was so joyfully overwhelming. Beautiful venue, great location, and amazing atmosphere.

On January 4, 2020, my destination wedding ceremony was in the beautiful El Chorro Herb Garden, the cocktail hour was on the South Lawn, and my the reception was on the Bocce Lawn. Additionally, we were able to take a number of photos on the Event Lawn because there was not another event going on. Even if we would not have had an opportunity to use nearly all the event spaces, our day would have been perfect. This venue is absolutely gorgeous! The service was 5-star from the moment we toured the property to the moment we drove away after our send off. The event manager, Lindsey, was so helpful and kind throughout the whole planning process and on the day of our wedding. Everything about the property is absolutely stunning! You will not regret choosing El Chorro as your wedding venue!

The ceremony space was breathtakingly gorgeous (herb garden) and the reception area (class bar) was fabulous!!! There was plenty of space for our 90 person wedding and the environment and atmosphere that El Chorro created was amazing. We couldn't have had a prettier or better wedding day. Thank you to Lindsey R. at El Chorro for helping our destination wedding dreams come true! The coordination between El Chorro and our wedding planner (Kayla from Some Like It Classic) was exceptional. 10/10 for these people!!!

El Chorro was the perfect setting for our desert-themed wedding! The venue is beautiful at every turn, from the mountains in the background of the ceremony, to the flowers and cacti on property. The photographers had so many options from water fountains to decorative doors and even an orchard. \rOur reception was in Casa Paloma which was a cozy, airy room with doors opening to the outside and lights and a fireplace on the patio. \rGuests loved the venue and are still talking about how great the food was!\rWe went with food stations that included sliders and tacos. The food was delicious and a memorable change from most wedding dinners we've had before. The food stations were set up nicely and not too informal at all. The staff doted on us, the bride and groom, from beginning to end. We always had a drink when we wanted it and had more than enough food. \rLindsey Rendon with El Chorro was great to work with and made sure everything ran smoothly leading up to the big day and on the wedding day. She was always quick to respond to the smallest question. I highly recommend El Chorro to any bride looking for a beautiful, one-of-a-kind place to get married!

we were a budget-conscious couple and Lindsey at el chorro really helped us get to a place where we could have a beautiful brunch wedding on a budget we were comfortable with. she also recommended our photographer and florist, AND our honeymoon travel agent. she is so sweet and always there to answer your questions - no matter how ridiculous they may be. ;)

We had our rehearsal dinner at El Chorro and it was gorgeous! They allowed us to have a room for dinner and an outside patio for a mini cocktail hour with a bar set up! They food was great and the staff was very professional! We did not have any mishaps at the rehearsal AT ALL!

This has always been one of my favorite restaurants in the Valley. It reflects the feeling of Old Phoenix and it makes you feel like you are visiting your friend's beautiful southwestern estate. Plus, I could probably eat a dozen of their sticky buns in one sitting. \r\rWhen we were planning the wedding and looking for a rehearsal dinner location, we immediately thought of El Chorro. They have multiple areas for private parties, the atmosphere is lovely, the restaurant has a lot of character and the backdrop is just stunning with the restaurant being nestled against the north side of Camelback Mountain. \r\rEl Chorro lived up to expectations! We had about 40 guests attend the rehearsal dinner and we had a combination of an indoor and outdoor event. They set up several tables with nice linens outside while twinkle lights light up the area. We also had the indoor area that had dark wooden paneling and felt like a beautiful southwestern home. The serves were friendly, the drinks flowed and the food was simply phenomenal. We had a buffet style set-up with a combination of Mexican food, a meat station, a slider station and french fries! It was elegant comfort food at its finest. \r\rI personally think that this is one of the best (if not the best) locations for a rehearsal dinner!
