El Zocalo Plaza Reviews

Do not use this venue !!! They do not honor contracts. Staff was helpful up until I had to cancel my wedding. Now while I am trying to pick up the peices of my life they have not refunded my \"refundable\" payments, after over 6 weeks I am still trying to get a refund. The only thing they will tell me for the last 3 weeks is that they are \"looking into it\" Reviewed on 11-05-2023
Santana Holmes(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-08-2018 This venue is fantastic. My wedding was the best day of my life, and I'm so glad we got married at El Zocalo. The venue is gorgeous, so the only decorations we ended up using were centerpieces and balloons for the entrance gates. The venue staff was flexible and easy to work with, and the venue's policies were fair. I especially liked that we could use any caterer of our choosing (or self-cater).I highly recommend this venue. Reviewed on 12-09-2018

Sierra Hector(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-05-2017 El zocalo is an amazing wedding venue! They were so friendly and accommodating! Very reasonable price too! I was able to have my perfect rustic chic wedding. They also let you bring your own food which is a big plus for budget brides. Reviewed on 08-06-2017
Ashley Fuqua(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-02-2017 Beautifully New Mexican! Staff is friendly, and the location is perfect for a smaller wedding. We had our ceremony outside with the fireplace and we received so many compliments! Reviewed on 31-03-2017
Shayla G.(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-06-2016 El Zocalo, in my opinion, was the only place I would have picked for my wedding. It was gorgeous and the everyone was wonderful to work with. Christina and Nikki were wonderful and took care of anything I needed. The place is nice because it has indoor, outdoor features, you can serve your own food, and it's not right in the middle of Albuquerque. I would recommend this place to anyone! Reviewed on 15-09-2016
Natalie Jackson(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-06-2013 The staff at El Zocalo are super friendly and very helpful! The location is not only absolutely beautiful, but it is also very friendly on the wallet. I didn't think I would have been able to find such a perfect location for such a bargain compared to many other places! Reviewed on 26-07-2013
Peggy Allison(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-11-2012 We were so happy to discover El Zocalo as a wedding venue. The plaza was gorgeous and with the fireplace and several heaters, we were still able to have our outdoor wedding in November. They have an indoor option as well, which also looks very nice, but the outdoor space is hard to beat. Rudy was easy to work with and helped us all along the way. We couldn't have asked for a better spot to get married. Reviewed on 24-11-2012
Tawnee Johnson(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-09-2012 We got married the last weekend in September and the place was still very green and beautiful. It's a really inexpensive place and they allow outside catering. Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect for a small wedding. Reviewed on 09-10-2012
