We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Elements by The Odyssey on 9-3-23. We had a phenomenal experience with Nick and Odalys. They were attentive and helpful throughout the entire experience/wedding year. They were flexible and worked together with us to include every aspect of our desires for our day from helping to display and incorporate our DIY's to ensuring that every detail of our day was exceptional. We have no complaints about Elements by The Odyssey as the venue and customer service was 5star in our opinion, but there is a down side. Unfortunately, the hotel attached to venue was awful. The customer service at The Homewood Suites was the worst that I have ever experienced. I thought that the hotel would make accommodations for my wedding, but I was told sternly by Laura who I guess is a general manager that \"The Hotel is a separate business and there is no connection to the venue\". She was rude, unprofessional, and uncaring. I had a contract with the venue but was being told there were no accommodations for my wedding which was at the time 11months aways. Nick (Elements manager) was able to talk to Laura and help us to secure a room block for my wedding party. After talking with Laura about the room block she then told me that I would need to purchase 2nights if I wanted my wedding party to be able to stay in the rooms long enough to prepare for the wedding. On my wedding day. My matron of honor was locked out of her room because the young lady at the front desk reported that the room was not paid for. As I was getting dressed in the venue I had to talk to the lady at the front desk to inform her (AGAIN) that the sales manage Darryl (sales manager who was awesome, but on vacation during the wedding) had assisted me with a back-to-back reservation for the room and I had also paid for the room for both nights with my credit card during check in. Informed her that my wedding bouquet was in the room and my ceremony was starting. She was unbothered and did not care. When I asked for a manager, she then stated, \"I see a credit card on file, would you like for me to charge it?\" At this point I was completely disgusted with Homewood Suites of Orland Park, and I will never recommend that anyone book them for an event as special as a wedding. She finally provided my Matron of Honor with a working Key to obtain my bouquet. I paid for 4 rooms and 3 of them for two nights so that we would have enough time to get dressed for the wedding. Again, Book Elements for your next event as you will receive a 5star experience but DO NOT use the attached hotel.

Can't say enough positive things about our experience with Elements. From the very beginning, Nick and his team worked with us to achieve our vision meet all of our wishes. The staff at Elements was absolutely amazing!!! Our wedding turned out amazing and everyone had such a great time. It was super convenient to have the hotel next door, as we had a lot of out of town guests. The food was fantastic, drinks were great, and the party was fabulous. They made everything so easy! The staff at Elements was absolutely amazing!!! Our wedding turned out amazing and everyone had such a great time. My husband and I cannot put into words how amazing our wedding was with Elements Conference Center. Jaclyn from event planning was OUTSTANDING! The staff went out of their way to make sure we got EVERYTHING we could have ever wanted for our wedding!!! Words cannot express the gratitude and excitement we have toward this venue. They created an experience that my husband and I will NEVER forget (not to mention all of our guests, they RAVED about the food, venue, and atmosphere). This is THE place to have your wedding!!!

My husband and I cannot put into words how amazing our wedding was with Elements Conference Center. Jaclyn from event planning was OUTSTANDING! The staff went out of their way to make sure we got EVERYTHING we could have ever wanted for our wedding!!! Words cannot express the gratitude and excitement we have toward this venue. They created an experience that my husband and I will NEVER forget (not to mention all of our guests, they RAVED about the food, venue, and atmosphere). This is THE place to have your wedding!!!

We booked our wedding here w/ Jacqueline 1 year in advance. We wanted a sci-fi/galaxy theme w/ special decoration requests. They said \"no problem\" & wowed us with a pitch promising they would essentially coordinate every detail on the big day so we could sit back & enjoy our wedding. Unfortunately, those assurances couldn't have been further from the truth.I spent 2 YEARS planning & designing a unique dream wedding. I went above & beyond communicating the plans via diagrams, written instructions, & labeled boxes w/ décor. (In fact, was told I was the most organized bride she'd seen & that she wished she had that documentation for all weddings). I was on hand the days before to give help/guidance. Yet, we were completely let down in the end. Issues began 2 mo before when we couldn't get a hold of Jacqueline. Turns out she left & David was taking over. OK. David held our tasting & had to go over every detail again, because there were no notes. A few weeks later, David was gone, too. A new rep, Kelly, had us come in to meet (was 45 min late!) to go over details (AGAIN) and pay the final balance. When it was time to pay, she was unprepared so that got delayed, too. The day before, things were chaotic & we feared they couldn't handle our event. For 20 minutes they assured me everything would be fine. On wedding day, I got there 1 min before ceremony start & was SHOCKED to find guests standing confused in the hallway. The room was not ready. Took 35+ min to get things moving. After, the wedding party was to go to reception area to get drinks. Instead, we saw the gift & late night snack tables & photo booth being set up wrong. We managed to get the photo booth in the lobby where it belonged. Everything else just had to stay. Meanwhile, \"cocktail\" hour had no cocktails for the first 1/2 hour. Reception started 40+ min late, too. Arriving, we saw our wedding cake was destroyed (pic). We had no wine for toasts. There was a long wait before service started & between courses. Bar was a wreck: lost appx 2 hours of paid time, bartender was often on his phone & couldn't make common drinks. They must have ran out of soda & clean dishes, so cans of Coke were replaced w/ 2 liters of generic cola & they started using cheap plastic cups. Tacky.It went on and on…we spent so much time trying to keep things moving instead of enjoying the party. We lost out on priceless time visiting w/ guests, dancing, and making good memories. Many carefully planned details & experiences never came to be.After, we were told someone would reach out. 2 days later, we planned a meeting. Then we got a call from a higher-up cancelling the appt saying, \"We don't need to hear about what happened, just tell us what you want to put this behind us.\" Didn’t think it was possible, but felt even worse after that phone call-we were completely dismissed.They did refund a portion of our event, but never heard us out. I sent suggestions on how to improve things (communication, event notes, expectations, etc) & no response. Never even got an apology accept for one that was wrapped in blame for our wedding being \"too detailed.\"Thinking the mess was over, we picked up our items & found over $500 in items were missing-INCLUDING OUR WEDDING GUESTBOOK! Said they couldn't find them & weren't responsible. After fighting we got a partial refund, but, that doesn't make up for irreplaceable lost memories.All in all, I wouldn't recommend this venue to my worst enemy.

The room looked absolutely gorgeous and so many of my guests raved about the food. They made sure every detail of our wedding was exactly what I envisioned and I cannot recommend this venue enough.

Absolutely perfect! They offer 4 unbelievable packages--get so much for an unbeatable price. Jacqueline and David were great to work with and so accommodating with our requests. The room looked amazing and the food was delicious. Our only disappointment was that one of the wait staff cracked our toasting flute when they were cleaning up for the night; other than that, everything seemed flawless.

Meet the Elements by The Odyssey Team
I was an Event Specialist at The Odyssey in Tinley Park for 16 years, now I am the Catering Manager of Elements Conference Center. In my time with The Odyssey, I gained all the expertise to plan exquisite Weddings, Corporate Events and Golf Outings. I have assisted hundreds of couples create their perfect day. Now, I enjoy overseeing the daily operations of this up and coming facility recently acquired by The Odyssey, our Sister property. Since June of 2018, we've spent time improving the facility and implementing our Odyssey touch.
