I was really looking forward to having my wedding here but their advertised information on their website is incorrect. Thier prices have skyrocketed in the past 2 years. Just so everyone has the correct information, I requested information and they said \" We don’t host Holiday weekends. Most months we have a 175-100 guest minimum, Dec-April it is 50-75 person guest minimum. For quick reference, our lodge fee for 2025 $3500 for June and September, $2500 for May and October and $1500 for Dec-April. This gives you the ceremony and reception space from 2 hours prior to the ceremony (anytime after 3:00 pm) to midnight for the reception, event planning, ceremony coordination, event staff, some setup and take down of place settings, and one night’s lodging for you and your spouse. \"

Loved this resort, but were too expensive and they were unsure of if they could fit all of my guests. Would be great for someone with a bit larger budget!

The scenery here is beautiful and the staff did a wonderful job making sure the wedding went smoothly. The venue comes with a wedding coordinator who will help with planning, arranging with other vendors, and making sure everything goes well and is easy the weekend of the wedding.

Location:\rElkins is beautiful year-round. Our wedding was March 15th. I was at Elkins the weekend before, and there was a good 2 feet of snow--gorge! \rHowever, it rained every single day that week. So, there was some mud-but not enough to hinder getting around, driving, etc. And despite some puddles and a little bit of mud, the resort was beautiful. We went out and skipped rocks, and we went snow shoeing, all in the same weekend! Every day, the lake, the forests, and the mountains were absolutely beautiful, and the cabins and lodge were always cozy and fun.\r\rPeople:\rThe staff at Elkins are amazing. We wanted to do a lot of bizarre things for our wedding, and they always played along and even seemed to enjoy brainstorming odd new ideas. We had family-style serving, and only two of the dishes were items actually on the Elkins menu. They even came up with a recipe for homemade donuts, just to give us what we wanted! \rIngrid, our wedding planner, was amazing. My husband's parents are wine buffs, and we wanted to have their favorite (and rare) type of wine at the wedding. We didn't know where to find it, so Ingrid hunted it down for us! She also helped arrange all of our details, from setting the cabins up for our guests to the piano delivery (we had dueling pianos at our reception). \rNot only were the staff wonderfully accommodating and helpful, but they were so much fun. Everyone was so welcoming and wonderful, it was like they were part of the family!\r\rAnd O.M.G. the FOOD. Amazing.

Elkins Resort was a magical place to get married! My guests raved about how beautiful the setting is and how great the food was! (on-site catering). I highly recommend Elkins as a wedding venue.
