About This Vendor

Eloise B. Houchens Center is a Greek Revival house built in 1904 with beautiful inlaid wood flooring, carved fireplaces & mantles--a perfect setting for wedding receptions, elegant parties & club luncheons. The Houchens Center is now used as a cultural and educational center for the community, and as a meeting place for clubs, associations and individual patrons who make up the membership. The Center is also rented by a variety of non-members for celebrations, meetings, retreats and many other events. The Houchens Center has several annual public events including a Card Party in February and August and the Trees of Christmas in December when over 30 decorated trees adorn the beautiful house. The Center is then open daily free to the public to tour and enjoy the holiday decorations.
