A spacious venue with a warm atmosphere
Emma’s on West Maple is a venue/event center in the small town of Emma, Missouri located two miles south of I-70 across from the beautiful Tri City Country Club. Emma is a town we cherish. We purchased the property in 2019 and starting remodeling it for us to be able to use. Once we saw the transformation happening, we knew we wanted to share the space and not just keep it to ourselves. We put much thought into the layout and the remodeling of the building. Along with our children, Tad and Hali we put a lot of hard work into Emma’s on West Maple over several years. We want everyone that visits Emma’s on West Maple to enjoy it as much as we do! When you arrive at Emma’s you will see that there is plenty of parking for your guests. You will walk into a large entryway that welcomes you into the venue. Many guests use this as a way for their guests to sign the guest book and stroll past the couples history and photos. It’s also used to drop off their gifts to the couple. To the right of the entryway are spacious handicapped restrooms with baby changing stations in both the men’s and women’s restrooms. Emma’s on West Maple holds up to 288 guests and this leaves enough room for a large aisle and a dance floor. It can be arranged several ways enabling you to make your event “yours.” Emma’s can also be arranged for fewer guests as we have hosted smaller weddings, bridal and baby showers, graduations and special events like wedding anniversaries and birthday parties. We have also hosted a corn hole tournament where the best in the state competed (thanks to our son, Tad). The venue is equipped with lights that dim from the ceiling and wall lanterns hung on the wall. The stage is also equipped with accent lights from underneath. With the combination of barn lumber, tin and a polished floor, Emma’s makes a very nice place to host your event. It also is the perfect backdrop for all your priceless photos you will take throughout your event. The spacious kitchen is just off the main floor and has a separate entrance from the outside for your caterer. It is equipped with a 500 pound ice maker, industrial refrigerator, three bay sink, stove microwave and larger island. The food, once prepared can be served right out the kitchen door to the main floor without interruption to your guests. We allow you to bring in your own food and drink or choose your caterer. If you need suggestions or referrals for a caterer, this area and surrounding area has some great options from great people to offer you their services. Alan and I will be available from the beginning stages of planning until the end of your event to make sure you have the best experience at Emma’s on West Maple. Meet the Emma's on West Maple Team
Nancy Deatherage (Owner) My husband Alan and I started out living in Emma, Missouri when we were married almost 30 years ago. It's a small town we cherish. We have owned small businesses our entire life and by far Emma's on West Maple has brought us the most joy. It started out with just a remodel so that we could use the space and when we really started seeing it transform, we knew we had to share it. A lot of hard work and planning makes it something we can really be proud of. Making the most of your time with us is something we take very seriously. We love sharing our venue!
