Located in Marion, Iowa, Epic Event Center is a family owned and operated wedding venue. Owners Les and Tracy Arnold worked with family to design and remodel the building, creating a spacious and elegant venue that’s sure to make your special day one to remember. The Epic Team strives to provide their clients and guests the most wonderful and personal experience. Whether you’re planning a small intimate wedding with 100 guests or a large celebration with 450 guests, Epic Event Center is the perfect venue. There are three ceremony locations on-site, two of which are outdoors, including a large willow tree surrounded by a pond with fountains, a large and spacious patio with a gazebo, and the inside location on a stage. Epic Event Center features an elegant 26-foot vaulted ceiling, customizable wall lighting that offers a multitude of options for ambience and a beautiful 35-foot built-in bar. The bride’s room offers the perfect space with plenty of natural light and mirrors for the bride and her attendants to get ready throughout the day. The grooms room doubles as a game room for that added bit of fun! Epic Event Center is available to host your wedding ceremony and reception with management on-site at all times. Tables and chairs, as well as all setup/cleanup, are included in venue rental. At the end of the evening, you simply take your personal belongings and leave the clean-up to the Epic team. As a cater only facility, there is a catering prep room and you may hire a caterer of your choice. Epic Event Center carries the liquor license and all insurances. All beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, will be purchased and served through Epic bartenders. Epic Event Center would love to help make your most memorable day EPIC!

My wife and I highly recommend Epic Event Center for your weddings and events. We had our wedding reception there recently and Karen and the rest of the team at Epic beat our expectations in every way possible and went way above and beyond of what we would expect from a venue. They were also super easy to work with, and provided us and our guests with exceptional service. The venue itself is beautiful inside and out which created an amazing setting for our event. We can’t say enough good things about Epic Event Center!

THERE ARE NO WORDS…. Epic made our special day the BEST DAY EVER. We had so many guests say this was “the best wedding they have been to” and as the bride and groom we knew that was only possible BECAUSE OF EPIC. They were on top of everything. Making sure the place was clean, organized, and exactly what the bride and groom could ever wish for. I can say my wedding day was the best day of my life because of EPIC staff. They made it so easy for my husband and I to relax, party, and enjoy! 100/10 recommend EPIC! Karen and her family have this venue designed and organized to make your day the magical dream you always have dreamed of ❤️❤️

I honestly can't imagine having my wedding anywhere else or working with any other staff after we just held our wedding out at Epic Event Center. We primarily worked with Karen during the planning process and this venue is AMAZING. The staff is the best you will find and they are so easy to work with. Karen helped us work through any type of question we had for her. They understood our apprehension regarding Covid-19 and worked to help us make our event as safe as possible!The venue is gorgeous and I can't even tell you how many people came up to me at the wedding and after, telling me how much they loved the space! It was exactly what we were looking for! Not only did the staff at Epic Event Center provide the perfect space for us, they gave us recommendations for our DJ and caterer, which we ended up going with! I'm not sure which of those three (venue, DJ or caterer) that we heard more compliments on! Karen and her staff really care about making sure the entire day runs smoothly, so they are happy to provide you with recommendations for vendors that have been to their building before and ones that they have had positive experiences with. I valued that information so much because I wanted everything to run smoothly! BIG thank you to the entire staff at Epic! You guys are really the best in the business and you made our day so special!

Epic Event Center should be at the top of every engaged couples list to tour. The Epic team is professional, responsive, and most importantly understands that this is the most important day of starting your lives as a couple. They take the time to learn about you and your families, and in a way, welcome you into theirs. Working with the Epic team was absolutely seamless; this included recommendations on table/decoration placement, referrals to vendors, and providing unique accommodations as needed on the day of our reception. We were able to provide the Epic team with a list of our vendors and the coordination on the day of was handled in the background so the wedding party could focus on our big day. Absolutely nothing felt out of place or fell through; all of our expectations were exceeded. Epic is large enough to accommodate 300+ which was close to our guest list. No matter the size the building is beautiful ranging all from the changing of colors on the walls, the white lights that hang from the ceiling, the beautiful willow tree and pond out front, the gazebo and outdoor area with fire pits to the gorgeous stone decorated bar to pull the ambiance together for an EPIC reception! You will not be disappointed choosing Epic for your event, wedding, or reception.

Everything about this place is Epic.Gorgeous/modern venue= EpicBridal Suite= EpicOutdoor Patio= EpicWillow Tree= EpicMassive Bar= EpicBut most importantly and the most Epic thing of all is the people who run the show. We could not have done it without them. They are so passionate about making sure you have the best day possible. They are attentive, flexible, & helpful. They truly went above and beyond. They will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thankful for the Epic team for our Epic wedding.

Epic Event Center is absolutely stunning in and of itself, which made decorating for my reception so much easier. The space is already so gorgeous so I spent less time and money trying to find extravagant decor. The people on staff are great to work with. They are professional, friendly, and very accommodating to your needs and desires.
