We had our rehearsal dinner at the essex and sussex and it was an amazing time. We basically had the room to ourselves so it felt quite private. The food was absolutely amazing and everyone had such a great time.

I want to start by saying I had the most amazing time at my wedding at The Essex and Sussex. Nichol and her staff are truly amazing. Everything from the planning, to the food, to the day of was absolutely perfect. Nichol helped us every step of the way and really went above and beyond to make our wedding planning less stressful. When it came to the day of our wedding, we were supposed to be married outside and take photos outside. It was windy and rainy the entire day. Nichol and the staff at the E&S did not miss a beat with helping us rearrange our plans so that our wedding could be moved indoors. This venue really went above and beyond our expectations. We have had nothing but complements from everyone who attended our wedding. I would book this venue again for any future parties. The E&S is an amazing venue with an amazing staff. I would recommend them to anyone!

My daughters bridal shower was held at this gorgeous venue on the ocean in Spring Lake. Nichol was a delight to work with, she was tuned into what our vision was for the shower. She offered many choices and pulled it all together so very perfectly with every detail. I would not hesitate to have a shower or wedding here, Nichol and her staff went above and beyond. They did everything to make this day very special and a beautiful memory for us and the guests. Thank you Nichol and staff of the Essex and Sussex.

I recently had my bridal shower at the Essex and Sussex. I could not be happier with the turn out of the event. Nichol the event coordinator went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for my special day. She was in great communication with my mother and maid of honor through the entire party planning process. She was always sending pictures asking my opinions on table placings, linens etc. Always giving suggestions and my favorite was having a welcome greeting with champagne in the porch with my guests. before entering into the dining room area. The weather was just beautiful and you can see the ocean right from the porch. On the day of Nichol helped with anything and everything from getting me a glass of champagne to helping with the flow of the event. The staff at the Essex and Sussex catered to all mine and my guests needs with nothing but smiles. No only is the location of the venue gorgeous but I truly believe the staff especially Nichol made my day a dream come true. It was truly a special day.
