The Event Center at Longworth Hall is a historic wedding venue located in Cincinnati, OH. The nationally recognized establishment boasts 100-year-old kiln-fired brick walls, high exposed beam ceilings, and wooden floors for a rustic nuptials setting. The venue invites couples to try something different from the cookie-cutter event halls and, instead, celebrate the occasion in a warm, luxurious loft. The Event Center at Longworth Hall’s grand two-story lobby is adorned with modern décor and opulent furnishings to complement the lavish interior design. The venue welcomes on-site ceremonies, or couples may host their service at a nearby courthouse or place of worship. Afterward, newlyweds and their guests can arrive at the loft for the reception celebrations. The center can host parties big and small for both an intimate sit-down meal or an extravagant night of dinner and dancing. The loft can host up to 300 friends and family, so no one has to miss out on the fun. We selected this venue for our daughter's wedding two years in advance (COVID). Amanda was our event coordinator from the start; then, shortly before the day, Kelsey joined her. They were the best! Explaining everything related to their services, and making recommendations to ensure a successful event.We selected to have the wedding ceremony at the LWH, which also was the place for the family photos.LWH has an ample parking lot (free). Also, security guard at the entrance, with CCTV all around the premises.On the day before the wedding, we set up the decorations, DJ, and conducted the rehearsal. Kelsey was there to assist us with anything we may have needed.On the day of the wedding, the staff at the bar, Tess and Jeffrey, and the security guard Chris, were top-notch. They managed the 120 guests with courtesy, professionalism, and efficiency second to none. The guests loved the Hall. It is a historic building well preserved.We all had a great time, and the LWH staff was a mayor contributing factor to the success of the event!THANK YOU!!

The staff at Longworth were very professional and easy to work with. We loved our beautiful reception venue and have gotten so many compliments on its uniqueness. We loved having our wedding at Longworth Hall. Huge parking lot for guest to park while having a downtown location. Close to parks for pictures before the ceremony. Easy to work with! Bonus : if there isn't a wedding the next day, you are able to pick up decor and everything the next day! The bartenders we had were amazing. Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I got married here in June of 2022 and it was everything we could have dreamt of & more. Amanda and Elizabeth were amazing to work with and made everything go so smooth. Our guests to this day, still talk about how beautiful the venue was that night. Everything that night went perfect. Tessa, the lead bartender was also amazing!! The location of Longworth is perfect- tons of parking and just minutes from plenty of hotels. Our wedding will be a night we will never forget thanks to this amazing venue!

We booked this venue sight unseen as we were coming from out of town. Amanda was a fabulous communicator and made the process seamless for us. She was also sensitive the fact that we were two brides and made sure all communication stated: bride and bride. The location was perfect, most of our guests stayed downtown, so it was a quick and easy ride for them. We loved that there were staff to help us assemble and tear down. Also, we had a security guard there all night, which was an added bonus. If I had to choose one thing I didn’t love, it would be the layout of the room for the ceremony- the support beams allow for only a few rows on either side and with 150 people the aisle was quite long. For the reception, the layout was totally fine! Would highly recommend the venue!

I couldn’t say more wonderful things about my experience with Longworth if I tried. As a Covid bride, we had to change our venue, our date, our honeymoon… you know how it goes. Longworth made the process seamless and enjoyable (which I didn’t even know was possible in those moments!). They were kind, encouraging and worked with us on ANYTHING we needed during the entire process. Not only was the staff amazing (specifically Amanda and Elizabeth), but the venue itself is STUNNING. The exposed brick, beautiful fairy lights, rustic shutters with massive windows really made it everything I could have asked for. My entire family, including in-laws, was so happy with our decision to make Longworth our venue. It should have been our first choice, so I’m glad we ended up there. HIGHLY recommend ❤️

This venue is the best EVER! We had the best reception. The site is top notch and Amanda & Elizabeth couldn’t be better to work with! I loved this location because of the rustic feel. It is not the cookie cutter reception site and the reason I knew this was the one as soon as I walked in.

I am so thankful we went with them for our venue! There was so much space to spread out, and they even installed an air cleaning system to the HVAC that kills Covid and other viruses!! Even when the coodinator changed a few weeks before the wedding, they both did such a good job of communicating during the switch. Thank you to Elaine, Amanda and Elizabeth!

Highly recommend this venue. It is a beautiful space if you're looking for industrial or rustic. We didn't have to decorate much on top of what is already included. Elaine and Elizabeth were very easy to work with and responsive. Definitely helped make our day special.

Elaine, Liz, Security, bartenders, maintenance - everyone was genuinely there to help! Longworth has so much to offer - our guests were impressed with the unique style, decor and central location. I highly recommend Longworth Hall for anyone looking for a beautiful venue for their wedding! Elaine and Elizabeth were both so helpful and accommodating. Longworth Hall is the BEST reception venue in Cincinnati. Elaine, Elizabeth and the ENTIRE team at Longworth Hall is incredible. All of our guests were so impressed with the historical aspects of the building and yet loved that the bar line was never 'long' or cumbersome throughout our reception as they staffed it very well. If you're considering hosting your reception for your Big Day at Longworth Hall - DO IT! You wont regret it! My wife and I live in a loft with a very similar 'industrial modern' vibe which we immediately fell in love it. Also being a nerd for history, Longworth Hall's history is pretty awesome (awarded status of 'longest structure of its type in the world' in 1904 - http://www.longworthhall.com/). Originally used as a railroad freight terminal, this building will likely exist for 100's of years to come, and it's is a cool thought that we are now part of this history.I can sense the eye rolls of all the to-be brides reading this, which is the same reaction my wife (Laura) had when we were touring the reception hall. But Laura was equally in love with Longworth for other reasons which likely align more with you ladies. It's an absolutely GORGEOUS reception hall, is logistically perfect for Cinci hotels, after party bars, etc. Laura and I had the mindset of allocating a large portion of our budget toward the event space, rather than a boring space with fancy plated meals (coming from someone who worked as a caterer in high school, not even the most expensive plated meals are as good as you pay for - save it for the honeymoon, baby) and high end bar package (Longworth does have this though for the ones who are into it). Instead, we owned the Cincinnati theme and catered Montgomery Inn for dinner (couldn't get Laura on board with Skyline after several failed attempts, but Montgomery Inn was perfect), Greaters for ice cream with our cake, and stuck with a basic bar package but worked with Elaine to include several cases of Rhinegeist beer to kick-start the party. This couldn't have been more well-executed. We still have friends/family tell us that our wedding was the most enjoyable and beautiful wedding they have ever attended (home run in my book).If you are looking for a unique space, perhaps have a deep connection with Cincinnati (not required), and want to stamp your friends/familys' memories with the best night of you and your spouse's life, then Longworth Hall is your answer. We wouldn't change a thing about our Big Day, and Longworth Hall remains the 'feature' of the reception component of our wedding.Thank you Elaine and the rest of the Longworth team for everything.Thanks,Ben and Laura

Not only were they helpful with the planning , but the day of they were so accommodating, I didn't have to lift a finger and they directed all the vendors to where they were supposed to be. There was no event the day before our reception so they let us set up early as well. They made the day extra special and let us have a say in the beer and wine options to make the choices perfect for our friends and family. The actual venue was so unique and our guests loved the atmosphere. Because the venue is already so interesting you really don't need to go crazy with decorations which cut down on our cost! Overall, amazing venue, amazing staff, I would highly recommend this location is you are looking for a venue in the northern KY/ Cincinnati area

My husband and I had a great experience having our ceremony and reception at Longworth Hall. The space is beautiful with the exposed brick and bistro lighting. I loved that we were able to set up and rehearse the day before. Elaine and Elizabeth were great to work with and always responded to my questions right away. We were lucky to have nice weather on our wedding day in April and there are lots of cool spots outside of the venue to take photos. I would highly recommend Longworth Hall!

Elaine was one of the most helpful people I worked with during the entire wedding planning process. The exposed brick, hardwood floors and bistro lights are so pretty that you don't even have to decorate the place very much at all. It was also perfect for our pictures together and with the bridal party. The brick building is great for pictures, and there are also other neat areas around the parking lot that were great spots for pictures.I highly recommend Longworth Hall for any event!

The venue speaks for itself with industrial character and a unique look. Elaine and Elizabeth and their team handled everything with professionalism and flexibility. The venue was laid out and prepared on-time for us to come in an decorate. With just a few touches the room came alive and was the perfect backdrop for our wedding reception. The team was responsive to questions and we felt completely prepared that everything would run smoothly \"behind-the-scenes\" on their end to get ready for the day after a thorough walk-through before the event. The venue speaks for itself with industrial character and a unique look. Elaine and Elizabeth and their team handled everything with professionalism and flexibility. The venue was laid out and prepared on-time for us to come in an decorate. With just a few touches the room came alive and was the perfect backdrop for our wedding reception. The team was responsive to questions and we felt completely prepared that everything would run smoothly \"behind-the-scenes\" on their end to get ready for the day after a thorough walk-through before the event. And it totally did!

Longworth Hall is absolutely stunning! My husband and I booked it for our December wedding - it was perfect! The minute I did my initial walk-thru I knew it was our perfect option. Elaine and Elizabeth walked us through everything from the time we booked, up until the day of the wedding. They were wonderful to work with and made sure that all of our details were worked out perfectly so we didn't have anything to worry about the day of the wedding. I honestly couldn't have imagined our wedding at any other venue - Longworth Hall is the perfect combination of rustic industrial! The only complaint I would have is that the security officer at our reception was fairly rude to my guests, DJ, and caterer. We had multiple complaints from the guests and after speaking with my DJ following our reception he was very disappointed, as was I with how the security officer treated everyone at the end of the night. As soon as our event was finished the security officer became very pushy with getting everyone out the second that it was 11:30pm and was very rude about how she was trying to get us out of the venue. As the customer/bride you would expect some understanding from staff at a wedding venue, understanding that everything cannot be instantly removed from the hall and a little bit of cushion as it takes a little bit of time for guests, the DJ and caterer to get everything removed. Aside from the security officer, I absolutely loved Longworth and it was nice working with Elaine and Elizabeth, however, the rudeness of the security guard did put a damper on the response of many guests at the wedding and as a bride you want everyone, including yourself to have the most memorable night (not for this reason however). I would highly suggest Longworth Hall, but discuss the security officer/expectations prior to the event.

My experience with Longworth Hall Event Center was nothing short of PERFECT! Elaine and Elizabeth were both wonderful to work with. They made my wedding day feel important, and like it mattered to them. I can’t even put into words how wonderful Longworth is…. But I will try...We had our wedding on 11/11/2016. All of our family and friends were raving about how fun and beautiful the reception was. Longworth is a beautiful hidden gem with lots of lights and very beautiful exposed brick walls. It is perfect! The only thing better than the actual event center, was the staff. Elaine and Elizabeth were happy to help us from the moment we walked into Longworth for the first time to the moment we walked out after our reception ended. They made themselves available to both my husband and I through the entire process. As most brides know, it can be very difficult planning a wedding because things are constantly changing. What you originally plan doesn’t always carry out… These two women at Longworth were amazing with all of my changes. Each time I changed something – Elaine and Elizabeth did it almost immediately. Never once did they make me feel like I was an inconvenience to them, and they made my experience with Longworth completely stress free. I truly had the reception of my dreams! There were no hiccups nor mistakes. These ladies did everything perfectly! I can’t brag about them enough… If you want an affordable location for your reception and a reception hall that stands out from the rest – choose Longworth Hall. I'm not sure if this review is long enough to write all my concerns with getting married at Longworth Hall. The Hall was beautiful and that is the reason we chose this venue but if we were less than happy dealing with the staff at the venue. They tried to force us into buying out additional space time because they never communicated the process of a ceremony at their venue. They also tried to overcharge our final invoice by adding over 40 people to our total count. They were consistently late on all communications even when they set deadlines for us that they never met themselves. The day of the wedding I was locked out of the building enterance that was specifically for the bride to enter discreetly. This was because the security personnel misplaced her keys. However, she was only concerned with blaming her manager at the time, instead of finding a solution better than the bride going in the main entrance - along with all the wedding guests that were entering at that time. No action was taken until she was yelled at due to sheer panic because no one from the venue seemed to think that there was a problem. We did not think any of our guests ended up knowing what had happened, that was until later in the evening when guests approached us fully knowing what had taken place. This was because the same security personnel was telling them about it. We were under the impression the venue wanted to try to make the situation right but the original communication we had with them we were disappointed. The whole situation was downplayed and they were only willing to refund our deposit, which should of been returned either way. It wasn't until after further emails back and forth fighting with them were they willing to return the cost of the ceremony with the deposit. We were pleased with that but we were disappointed we had to fight with them at all considering what had happened. No was one willing to take responsibility for what was described as just a small mishap that probably won't happen again. But unfortunately my wedding won't just happen again.

We were also able to set up the reception hall the day before the wedding which helped reduce a lot of our stress (this can only be done if there is not an event the night before your event). Also, we had a cookie bar at our reception and Elizabeth and her staff placed the cookies out before our cocktail hour without us even asking her to do that. What more can you ask for?! Not only were Elaine and Elizabeth a dream to work with, the space is a dream as well. The exposed brick, bistro lighting, white uplighting around the walls, and draping fabric made this venue such a unique & gorgeous space. We had a little under 200 guests at our wedding and it was the perfect size to accommodate our party. We heard nothing but compliments all evening about how beautiful the space was. Overall, we were beyond happy and pleased with our experience at Longworth and recommend it to all our newly engaged friends and family looking for a venue downtown. Having all the tables, chairs, linens, and bar service in one place really made the planning easy. As long as no one books an event the day before yours, you can get in the day before the event to set up, which was a HUGE help. It was such a different venue with the exposed brick, bistro lighting, and head table back drop lighting. Everyone kept commenting on how gorgeous it was in there, and we didn't have to do much to the space. I would highly recommend this space!

It accommodated our size group perfectly and the staff was great to work with! From the planners, to the bartenders, to the night of host - - it was all wonderful! Longworth Hall was the perfect venue for our wedding. Elaine was amazing and always called me by name, even if I popped in for an unexpected visit!! Longworth has a different feel than your typical reception venue. It has exposed brick walls and beams, a long skinny dance floor instead of a square, & a rustic feeling without being in a barn with burlap & mason jars. There were times when we were planning that I would think back on the space & get panicky that maybe it wasn't right for us. Then I would go back to see it again and as soon as I walked in I would breathe a sigh of relief because it was perfect. \r\rI believe their event coordinator changed during our planning process. I say \"I believe\" because they never told us. But one day the lady we had been working with was gone, and a new girl was in her place. Actually it was a coworker who had her reception there a few months before me that told me of the switch. I didn't meet the new girl until a week before my wedding. At that point, she promised my parents, my groom, and me that she would be there the day of our wedding, but none of us saw her. \r\rHonestly, the venue was great, the location was great, and I think the new girl will settle into her role and that part will be smoother for future brides!

We were so lucky to book this amazing venue for our wedding this July. I can’t say enough about the space, the staff, the location, etc. Just a short drive (or a longer walk) from downtown, Longworth hall was super convenient for our guests staying in fountain square and attending our downtown ceremony. We ran a shuttle, but there is also ample parking available just outside. The building itself has a ton of history and character, and the inside of the reception hall is absolutely stunning. The exposed brick walls, beautiful window treatments and full lighting package are almost all the decorations you need. We added some simple, rustic touches throughout and the room was breathtaking. Many of our guests commented on how cool the space was. In addition to that, Elaine was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the planning process. When we first booked we read a couple of older reviews that people had issues with responsiveness form the staff here, but that was not our experience at all. Elaine was always extremely responsive, thorough, and accommodating to our needs. Liz and the bartending staff also did a great job with the day-of operations and everything ran super smoothly. I would recommend this to any bride who wants something unique. It’s definitely not your cookie cutter reception hall, and we loved every minute of our reception!

We were so lucky to book this amazing venue for our wedding this July. I can’t say enough about the space, the staff, the location, etc. Just a short drive (or a longer walk) from downtown, Longworth hall was super convenient for our guests staying in fountain square and attending our downtown ceremony. We ran a shuttle, but there is also ample parking available just outside. The building itself has a ton of history and character, and the inside of the reception hall is absolutely stunning. The exposed brick walls, beautiful window treatments and full lighting package are almost all the decorations you need. We added some simple, rustic touches throughout and the room was breathtaking. Many of our guests commented on how cool the space was. In addition to that, Elaine was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the planning process. When we first booked we read a couple of older reviews that people had issues with responsiveness form the staff here, but that was not our experience at all. Elaine was always extremely responsive, thorough, and accommodating to our needs. Liz and the bartending staff also did a great job with the day-of operations and everything ran super smoothly. I would recommend this to any bride who wants something unique. It’s definitely not your cookie cutter reception hall, and we loved every minute of our reception!

Pink Ribbon Girls held our annual Ignite the Fight event at Longworth Hall for about 200 people. This was an upscale event and Elaine at Longworth Hall did everything possible to help make our event a success. She allowed us access whenever possible for planning purposes and we were even able to set up for our event two days early. We needed to be able to project on a large screen, and Elaine had someone paint a large backdrop for us so we didn't need to rent anything. The venue was absolutely beautiful and classic. We loved the exposed brick and the huge bar area. This would be the perfect setting for a wedding reception. We were impressed with the level of service and exceptional quality of the venue.

We couldn't have been happier with our event at Longworth Hall. Cathy and Elizabeth were a joy to work with. They both did everything in their power to assure each and every detail was perfect. As there didn't happen to be an event the night before, we were able to get in early for set up. The staff was great! They were friendly and so helpful with getting us carts, holding doors and showing us where we could store things. It was also so beneficial that we could even come back the next morning to pick up our items.\rWe felt that the price package was reasonable and we were given options to work with to add or decrease our budget. We were directed to other services outside of Longworth too. For instance, the caterer we used was a suggestion of Longworth and they too were great to work with.\rBy the way, one of our guests mentioned that the bartender was the best she had ever seen. This particular guest is a wedding photographer and has worked many weddings. She said that she was amazed how friendly they were, even joking and getting to know everyone's names! Those kinds of things really gave our event that special touch!\rWe found the facility to be clean, well organized as well as unique and contemporary. We were always met with a smile and friendly greeting and were offered as much time as we needed be it over the phone or in person.\rWe would highly recommend using Longworth Hall for any function!

I fell in love with Longworth Hall from the minute I laid eyes on the place (exposed brick, wood, big windows, bistro lighting, exposed beams), but was somewhat hesitant based on previous reviews of the poor management. I will say I had to be a little organized with details (reminding her prices we discussed and different options that had changed throughout the past 1 1/2 years), but my wedding reception went absolutely flawless!!!\r Throughout the entire process, Katherine and Elizabeth were very laid back and fun to work with. They worked with me and were very flexible. The wedding day was absolutely perfect. They had all the candles lit and everything set up before the reception, there was never a line at the bar, and were flexible with when we could pick everything up. I would def. recommend Longworth Hall for the bride that wants that rustic wedding vibe. It's a beautiful hall before you even add the table cloths and center pieces!!!

I recently had a wonderful reception at Longworth Hall. I must have spent five months looking for the \"perfect\" venue, but we either found super affordable spots that held a car show the week before, or a VA meeting etc., or super expensive venues that just weren't what we were looking for. No, the rental isn't ultra low in price, but I wanted something that was truly special. At first I was a bit worried about \"downtown\" due to parking and what not, but Longworth Hall has free parking. At night the building is lit up and it really feels special. Not only could we chose our own caterer (we ended up with one of their recommended ones), but we were able to get in the day before to decorate. I just loved the loft feel of the space. I'm from San Francisco so I didn't want an ordinary \"white wall\" venue and these folks delivered. The staff went out of their way to help us get everything together and it's such a relief when people smile and seem grateful for your business. Give them a call -- you won't be disappointed. (ps. hats off to Elizabeth who really made sure everything went so smoothly)
