We are a premier wedding Venue conveniently located in the Piedmont of North Carolina, not far from the city of Greensboro and only 15 minutes from Danville, VA. We pride ourselves on the service we provide to our brides and the attention we pay to make their dream wedding come true. In addition to wedding ceremonies and receptions, this location can accommodate private events such as: Birthday Parties, Engagement Parties, Retirement Parties, Bridal Showers, Baby Showers, Corporate Events, Business Dinners, Family Reunions and more! ACCOMMODATIONS Oakhaven provides 4 onsite accommodations for wedding parties, family and friends to enjoy! •The Manor House which dates back to the 1930's, will sleep up to 12. The perfect place for you and your wedding party to stay the night before the big day! With 6 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, a full kitchen, bridal dressing room and 2 sun rooms perfect for hair + makeup you can't go wrong with this gorgeous home! •The Bungalow is the perfect place for out of town guests to come and stay. Maybe a grandparent, aunt and uncle or even a close family friend, this home provides 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, full kitchen and a safety ramp for those who may need it. •Woodrow's Cabin is a century old Log cabin and loved by all the groomsmen! With 2 bedrooms, a loft and 2 bathrooms, this cabin can sleep up to 7 guests. •The Cottage is our newest accommodation and it is the cutest! Our 1 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom "honeymoon cottage", is the perfect place for couples to slip away to after the party has ended. Located across the field from Oakhaven it is the easiest wedding night stay you'll find. The cottage has a full kitchen, flat screen TV and comes with complimentary breakfast bread and a bottle of champagne. The Manor House is included in all wedding packages for DAY OF GETTING READY. All overnight accommodations must be reserved and added to your package. CEREMONY SITES Ceremonies are all individual and unique. We have 3 ceremony sites that most couples choose. •The Manor Gardens is one of our favorite ceremony locations. With lush green grass, flowering beds and borders and a stone walk way that leads to our gazebo, this site is the perfect romantic spot to pledge your love. •The Oak Tree is our most popular ceremony location. Couples love our 100 year old oak tree and we can't say that we blame them. Providing ample shade during the summer months and old church pews for seating this ceremony site is breathtaking. •Oakhaven's Grand Dutch Barn gets its appeal from paneled old wooden walls. Oakhaven sought this feature from Corral Wood in Montana. No Barn can match its appeal. It is Perfect for any season as it is completely heated and cooled, to any temperature you want. Our 10 foot wide stone fireplace is a focal point both summer and winter. You can't go wrong with this indoor ceremony spot! This is also our rain plan option. Oakhaven was the absolute perfect choice for our wedding day! Jeannette and her team were easily reachable, answered any and all of our questions, and made sure our big day ran smoothly. We stayed the weekend on property with our family and wedding party — which was a big plus and stress reliever — and utilized their on site decorations room as well. This venue was not only gorgeous, but included ample parking, friendly staff, tables, chairs, linens and more. Our family, guests and other vendors raved about Oakhaven, for good reason! We truly cannot thank them enough for making our wedding a dream come true. We highly recommend them to any other couple in search of their perfect venue.

Oakhaven was truly a dream come true for our wedding venue! Jeanette was quick to answer any and all questions. The accommodations was a big plus for us and was a key point in our decision to select Oakhaven as our venue. Our guests were in awe of the entire property and our wedding party was comfortable the entire weekend (being housed in site). We selected the fire pit area for our welcome event and it was a huge hit. The Oakhaven team was there at ever turn for anything we needed or had questions on! I recommend Oakhaven to anyone looking for the wedding of their dreams. Thank you for being such a huge part of our future! We hope to return and stay in the future to reflect on the memories we hold closest to our hearts!

If I could leave 10/5 stars I totally would! Oakhaven is the most beautiful venue ran by the most amazing people. My husband and I knew Oakhaven was the place for our wedding almost immediately during the initial tour. It is seriously the most beautiful venue that I have Jeanette and the other staff were the best to work with! Jeanette even baked a little breakfast loaf for my husband I to have the morning after our wedding. I would highly recommend if you book with Oakhaven book all the houses for the whole weekend if it’s in your budget. Our bridal party and close family stayed on the premises the whole weekend and had such a great time! Even had a little after party at the fire pit after the reception. It was like a destination wedding 20 minutes from home. Thank you so much Jeanette, Gary, Natalie, Elizabeth and all of the other Oakhaven staff for making our day perfect!

Thank you Oakhaven Properties for being the perfect wedding venue! My wife and I must’ve toured over 25 venues across North Carolina and it wasn’t until we stepped foot into Oakhaven that we felt we were not making any compromises. When we went to the Oakhaven staff with our vision they gave us the freedom to execute it fully and we’re so grateful for all the vendors that made it all come together! Special thanks to Jeanette & Gary! They’re the best! They were incredibly accommodating throughout the wedding process, always making themselves available on the random days we wanted to stop by the venue to see something or show family around. In terms of value, I don’t think you can find a better venue across the Carolinas or Virginia. Trust us, we looked! For our wedding weekend we booked the manor house, the honeymoon cottage, the bungalow, and the cabin which allowed our bridal party of 18 along with our immediate families to stay on the property with us all weekend long, which was incredible. The venue also has a decor room which is included when you book the manor house which has tons of stuff to make decorating the space easy! Would highly recommend booking this venue for your wedding weekend, you will not find better people to work or a more beautiful venue! From Savion & Elyce ( Bride & Groom).

This venue is FABULOUS! Had my wedding here in September of 2021. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for my big day. The price is very reasonable if you are wanting a beautiful venue with lots included but are trying to stay within a budget. Jeanette was also good about answering all my questions that I had and responding back in a good timely manner. They were very forward, no hidden secrets or back doors that you find along the way that you weren’t told about upfront. They listen to every need you have or any change you want for your big day. If I had to redo my whole day over again I would not change a thing about any of it. Oakhaven is the best venue!

From the moment we arrived at Oakhaven, we knew this would be the most perfect venue for our wedding day. Being from the Raleigh area, everyone asked why we picked this venue and we kept saying “trust us, when you get there, you’ll understand” and everyone has raved about how magical this venue was.Jeanette and Gary were such a dream to work with, from the initial meeting to the wedding day, they were excellent and made sure everything went perfectly. The on site accommodations were the perfect addition for all our close friends and family and we even enjoyed the newly added honeymoon cabin that was so incredibly perfect. Our wedding day was perfect, a day we’ll always remember and we couldn’t have dreamed of a better venue!

Beautiful property with AMAZING views all around!! The white barn literally SCREAMS wedding, I knew before even visiting oakhaven that this is where I would get married. Very well priced venue !! Also loved that they have multiple ceremony options (the barn, the oak tree, & the manor garden -something for everyone )

Everyone at Oakhaven made our wedding day flawless. The venue is so breathtaking and the staff is amazing. Using their wedding planner is a must, you won’t have any stress. Getting pictures taken with Oakhaven’s horse, Romeo, was a dream. I wish we could do it all again!

Oakhaven is BEAUTIFUL! Do not hesitate and book! The reason I chose Oakhaven is because I wanted a beautiful location with onsite accommodations, which is very hard to come buy. My entire bridal party and both families stayed on-site Friday-Sunday. My husband and I got there early on Thursday to start unloading and decorating, they are very accommodating. The venue is immaculate and the owner hand picks every detail. There are several ceremony locations and you really can't choose wrong! It rained on our wedding day but Mrs. Jeanette and her employees seamlessly moved the wedding into the barn and it was still beautiful! Highly recommend stay at such a beautiful location that offers just an amazing for price for the bargain!

I got married at Oakhaven 2 months ago and I can't say enough good things about this venue. They worked with me and my family through our unique COVID scenario. They helped make sure our vision came to fruition through the meetings we had at the venue site. Not only was the service impeccable, but the grounds and farm as a whole are GORGEOUS. We rented the big home, the cabin and bungalow and would do it again in a heartbeat. By far worth it! Thank you for everything Oakhaven, you made my wedding a dream.

Oakhaven is absolutely gorgeous and once I laid eyes on it in person I knew it was where we would get married! Gary was very hospitable and Mrs Jeanette and Mr. Bob were so accommodating! The Manor, Cabin, and the Bungalow were great lodging arrangement for our wedding party. They do provide a list of suggested vendors and allow for you to find your own as long as they are approved and have the proper liability insurance. I appreciate how much attention Jeanette gave to making the day perfect!

I have been to many weddings at this beautiful venue and will actually have my own wedding there October of next year. I am beyond thrilled. Jannette and her team have been a blessing with work with. Not only is it in the perfect location, but When the sun sets behind the reception area, it’s gorgeous! I recommended to anyone looking for an affordable venue. I feel very safe at this venue during these crazy times. They have followed all COVID restrictions and keep me updated with the latests protocols as I plan my wedding.

I cannot day enough good things about Oakhaven and it’s employees. The venue is even more stunning than it looks in pictures and having a “rain” option is very convenient. A storm was passing the morning of our wedding and Jeanette calmed my nerves reminding me everything would be beautiful. We rented the manor house and cabin as well which made it possible for our bridal party to remain on the grounds following rehearsal and the reception. I love Oakhaven and Jeanette and recommend them both to any bride!

I was a bridesmaid in a wedding that was held here in August. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and well kept. It's a working farm, but you would honestly never know until you looked over and saw the cows. The venue was spacious for everyone to sit, eat and dance. The house for the girls was super cool. It's an \"old\" vintage house. I swear I got lost twice because it's so big and has so many rooms. Our favorite place to sit was the sun room. Jeanette is my girl, she's the coordinator. She was awesome and made sure that EVERYTHING was in place. We didn't have to worry about a thing. Her and her team were efficient and super polite. I 100% recommend this venue.

Oakhaven was the most amazing place to get married! Gary (the owner) was very flexible and understanding - he truly wants the best for his couples. He'll recommend a ton of other great vendors in the area (which is good, because it is definitely a rural area so better to get a local person and not pay travel costs). Everyone I worked with was genuine and open. And did I mention this venue is gorgeous??? A brand new state-of-the-art reception barn, massive oak tree for my outdoor wedding, cute manor house to get ready in - and the perfect sunset to end the night. We were planning our anniversary to get back here before the day was over.

I cannot say enough positive things about Oakhaven. They gave us an amazing experience for our mixed cultural Southern/Cuban wedding where we danced to Latin and Country music all night! I had visions of having an elegant southern wedding and this was the perfect place to make that happen. My whole Cuban family stayed at the house for the wedding weekend and we even used Gary’s additional services to make breakfast for everyone at the house the morning of the wedding. My family couldn’t get enough of Gary, even saying they wanted to come back next year for thanksgiving at the Oakhaven house. I used Jeanette as my wedding coordinator and she made everything so easy for me with all of her recommendations. She was a great resource for advice on things she had seen work and not work when it comes to planning an amazing event. Oakhaven is such a beautiful venue and I can’t even imagine my wedding having been anywhere else.

My husband and I couldn't have picked a more perfect venue or more hospitable professionals to work with for our special day. Jeanette and Gary went above and beyond to ensure our wedding weekend went off without a hitch. We feel fortunate to have exchanged our vows under the breathtaking oak tree and danced the night away in the beautifully restored barn. From the first day we visited Oakhaven to the night we drove off as husband and wife, we feel truly blessed to have found this breathtaking place with equally lovely staff. I'd highly recommend any bride and groom to choose Oakhaven. You won't regret it.

My fiancé and I booked this venue in June 2017 for an October 2018 wedding. We were promised that Oakhaven was really flexible and would help us make our dream of a mixed cultural Southern American/Puerto Rican wedding a reality. Instead, we were bullied into using their specified vendors and when we questioned them we received attitude and ignored phone calls and emails. The final straw came when Oakhaven's wedding planner, Jeanette Wagoner, tried to force us to use her DJ despite us saying over and over again we wanted Latino music and would find our own DJ. We called Oakhaven and reported Jeanette's bullying behaviors. Gary promised to fix this situation. Instead, five days later we received an email saying our event was CANCELLED. We don't know if they're racist or just extremely unprofessional. It appears they are both.

Oakhaven was absolutely AMAZING! Gary and everyone who works there do a fantastic job keeping the grounds and the house looking immaculate. Everytime and went to visit prior to my wedding there was something new and it looked more amazing than before. They are constantly adding new things. I used their recommended wedding planner who works closely with Gary and all Oakhaven staff, Jeanette Wagoner, and I can't say enough good things about her. She helped me find amazing vendors and during the day of, everything was running like clockwork. I would choose this venue over and over again. You won't be disappointed!

I chose Oakahven because of the friendly owners and the beautiful grounds. Come to find out that renovations were made in time for the weddings this year and they were absolutely STUNNING. I would choose that wedding venue over and over if I had the choice again!

Jeanette Wagoner (Events Director) Jeanette is Oakhaven's wedding and events manager and she is also known as \"The Wedding Day Lady\". She is our resident wedding planner and has coordinated over 300 weddings; most of them right here at Oakhaven! She lives in Eden with her husband, Bob who is her muscle on wedding day! She loves cooking, reading on the beach and making magic for our brides!
