Opt daughter was married in April 2023. We chose this hotel for the room block and could not have been happier. Our liaison, Katharine Kent, was amazing. She was easy to communicate with and made sure things went smoothly for our family and friends. Everyone said the service and rooms were great and loved the location. It’s a beautiful well-run hotel and we highly recommend.

Wedding Date 31-12-2021
Terrible. Multiple issues! Tried to charge us $26k to change the date due to pandemic. Tried the get us to change our date on our dime so they can throw a NYE party. 3 different coordinators. They will nickel and dime you and not look back at what their contracts say. Read everything you sign as they will try to get around every thing they said they would do!

The Fairmont was the absolute perfect venue for our dream wedding! When my fiance and I were venue shopping, we needed somewhere that could accommodate 350 people in downtown Austin that was elegant and classy and would offer a fabulous guest experience. The Fairmont was everything we wanted and more! Our wedding coordinator, Jess, took care of all the details and made sure our wedding went off without a hitch. Jess was the consummate professional and provided customer service above and beyond. She made us feel like royalty during the whole wedding planning process and made sure our every need was met. Our guests raved about the hotel and had a blast the entire weekend. Choosing to have our wedding at the Fairmont was, hands down, the BEST decision we made!

Wedding Date 09-06-2018
The Fairmont opened it's door earlier this year and I was fortunate enough to work with Jess Winters and her staff coordinating their first wedding. Jess was an absolute delight to work with during the planning process. She was informed, organized and always available. Jess along with her staff were first class taking care of every detail on the wedding day. The hotel is gorgeous and creates the perfect backdrop for weddings.
