My husband and I had our wedding at Fairmont Copley Plaza in September 2023, and as we expected, it was the perfect venue for our special day. We had our ceremony and reception in their Oval Room and our cocktail hour in the Venetian Room. We, and our guests, loved the timeless and elegant atmosphere of both rooms, and took advantage of the stunning lobby at Fairmont as well. The plated dinner selection at Fairmont is truly exceptional; you can tell they take much pride in the quality and presentation of their food. Additionally, they took great care in accommodating all of our guests' dietary restrictions and allergies. My husband and I worked with the event manager/wedding specialist Alice Fay throughout the year leading up to our wedding. We were so impressed by the years of experience she has in the wedding industry and the love and care she puts into the wedding details. We had a lovely meeting at OAK Long Bar + Kitchen to finalize details. It was so helpful bouncing ideas off of Alice, getting her professional opinions on everything from food choices and reception timelines, all the way to lighting and the type of escort cards to choose. We also worked with services manager, Jessica Cooper, who helped tremendously with our room blocks and wedding suite accommodation. Jessica was incredibly responsive and was able to give us tours of one bedroom suites and guest rooms at Fairmont so we could appropriately prepare for our wedding weekend.My husband and I are so happy we had our wedding at Fairmont Copley Plaza. The service, food, atmosphere, and professionalism exceeded our expectations and we would definitely recommend!

Our wedding was beyond a dream. Ashley and her team went above and beyond for my husband and I for over two years executing everything better than I could have ever imagined. We had toured a few different locations and besides the fact that the Fairmont is the most beautiful location for a ballroom wedding, what sold us was Ashley Kirouac, our venue coordinator. She was meticulous with details, attentive, and patient when I was started losing control of everything. Vinit Sigh, and Emily Lopez were incredible handling the event itself and making sure that everything went flawlessly. The staff were beyond exceptional, and I cannot thank the Fairmont Copley enough for their warm hospitality and incredible service.

10/10!!! Getting married at the Fairmont was a dream come true. We had a true fairytale wedding. They exceeded our expectations. The venue speaks for itself in its beauty and elegant/romantic vibe, but the special touches the venue and vendors provided made it so magical. The service was top notch. Respectable and friendly staff that gave us a fine dining experience. The food was outstanding and when you cater a large event you donât always expect food and service to exceed expectations, but every guest ranted about both! Alice was our event coordinator and she was truly the best. So easy to work with, lots of experience, and made our day so special by delivering all the things we asked for and more! They truly have weddings down to a t here. From the moment you are outside the venue and get greeted by staff and valet at front door, to the moment you leave - a true luxurious experience. Ashley made my husband and I, as well as our families, feel incredibly special throughout the whole process. She is not only professional, but also friendly, welcoming, and extremely thorough. She made sure to go above and beyond to answer my questions and accommodate our requests, and I was extremely confident that everything would be perfect on the day, and it absolutely was.The venue itself was more than we ever could have imagined. The hotel is so beautiful on the inside and out, and it offers so many photo opportunities in the lobby, hallways and staircases. The room I got ready in provided more than enough space for me and my wedding party to get ready. Again, Ashley was more than accommodating the morning of, and made sure I had everything that I needed. Our cocktail hour was in the Venetian Room, which was amazing, and we still talk about the hors d'oeuvres to this day. Our reception was in the Oval room, and it could not have been more beautiful. We loved the 1920âs feel to the room, with the high ceilings and huge, historical windows. The room had more than enough space for all of our guests to dine and dance comfortably. The food, from the appetizers to dessert was delicious, and the staff was all prompt and professional while serving our meals.Overall, the entire experience, from wedding planning to the after party, exceeded my expectations. It truly was the most amazing day of our lives, and I cannot recommend getting married at the Fairmont Copley Plaza more! Thank you Ashley for everything!

We got endless compliments on the food and service, which was very important to us. It's just a great place to be and the perfect place to host your wedding. The Fairmont Copley Plaza is an absolutely gorgeous and elegant venue with an outstanding friendly and extraordinary staff! Our daughter and her husband just had their wedding reception in the Grand Ball Room and post-wedding brunch in the St. James Room! Words cannot begin to describe how truly magical the weekend was. Our guests are still raving about how incredibly beautiful the venue was and how special they all felt at our wedding event! This was all made possible by the fabulous team at the Fairmont Copley Plaza. First of all, we owe Ashley Kirouac, our event coordinator a huge thank you. She did a phenomenal job and was such a pleasure to work with. No matter what we threw her way, Ashley was always so responsive. Her expertise in planning, coordinating and help with every aspect of the wedding including the post-wedding brunch made our event flawlessly successful and so much easier for us during all of our planning. Jessica Cooper was another event coordinator which we were so fortunate to have part of this amazing team. She helped to make sure all of our questions were addressed, making last minute changes, informing us about our room availability and keeping us on track with everything. Alex Ferraro and Allie Ferrick were the Event Operations Managers at the wedding reception working along with Ashley. Their main goal was to oversee and make sure that our wedding reception ran smoothly from start to finish. They did a superb job and were so attentive to all of our guests. Executive Chefs George Lishchynsky and Zaid Khan were expert chefs overseeing culinary and they were terrific! The food was gourmet and so delicious. The presentation of the meals was so impressive and the quick service was fantastic. They also took care of dietary restrictions for some guests with amazing substitute dishes. This was the wedding of our daughterâs dreams! The amazing team at the Fairmont Copley Plaza made our daughter and her husbandâs wedding a spectacular and memorable event! The staff is top-notch, executed every detail flawlessly, and really know what they're doing (Alex Ferraro and Nat Avendano were our Event Operations Managers). Ashley Kirouac was our event coordinator from our first venue visit to the big day, and she did an amazing job answering all of our little questions, keeping track of changes and updates, and being extremely responsive throughout the planning process. We could not have been more grateful to work with her! Our guests raved about the food and the service - they were great with food allergies as well as with serving everyone very quickly. Another huge unexpected benefit of this venue was that we were able to go until 12:30am, which meant that we didn't need to specifically coordinate after-party festivities. Our daughter recently had her wedding reception at the Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston.The day was a fairy tale wedding in every way imaginable! This is only possible when you have the best of the best by your side and top-notch resources available.That is when we met Alice Fay, Wedding Event Coordinator. It was love at first sight! She was so friendly, kind andgenuinely happy for all of us. It seemed too easy....too perfect... Well, I have to say to anyone reading this if you arelooking for a smooth sailing wedding process please look no further! Alice Fay was made for this! She is the REAL deal.Never have I met anyone who wants to please a client more. Alice has quite the schedule....She has more than one wedding at times every week but yet made us feel like our wedding was the only one happening. Her level of care and concern is trulyremarkable. I couldn't believe that emails and phone calls were returned within an hour or less and it was like that for the entireten month planning process. When we would meet in person, she made it fun and personal and truly made us feel like family.After explaining the vision we had for this wedding, she suggested a list of vendors and resources that were the best of thebest in the business. They had one goal....to please in every way possible. I have learned over the years, that despite peoplebeing good at what they do, sometimes they do not have an approachable way about them. The wonderful people we worked with did not disappoint. They were always available to brainstorm and meet in the space to get everything perfect. They succeeded.During the wedding Alice was AMAZING! She was on top of everything (yet in the background) and was so kind to our family and made sure all was going well. She truly doesn't miss a beat! Even the night before and morning of the wedding she was checking in with us making sure we had everything we needed. All the personal touches and loving texts as the wedding approached were over the top! That is why I had to write this review. She deserves this and a lot more. My daughter not only got the wedding of her dreams....we got ALICE as well.... A friend for life

The Fairmont Copley is an absolutely magical wedding venue, and my husband and I are so happy we chose it. I never envisioned myself having a \"hotel wedding,\" as I feel like typically hotel ballrooms don't have a ton of character, but the Copley completed changed my mind about that. From the second we walked in, I was so impressed with the beauty and character of the hotel. We chose to have our wedding in the Oval Room, which is a stunning room with gold framed windows and a beautiful blue ceiling painted with clouds. Our wedding coordinator, Ashley Kirouac, was so helpful throughout the whole process, always walking us through each step and answering our questions along the way. The Fairmont Copley is an absolutely magical wedding venue, and my husband and I are so happy we chose it. I never envisioned myself having a \"hotel wedding,\" as I feel like typically hotel ballrooms don't have a ton of character, but the Copley completed changed my mind about that. From the second we walked in, I was so impressed with the beauty and character of the hotel. We chose to have our wedding in the Oval Room, which is a stunning room with gold framed windows and a beautiful blue ceiling painted with clouds. Our wedding coordinator, Ashley Kirouac, was so helpful throughout the whole process, always walking us through each step and answering our questions along the way. Our banquet coordinator, Allie Ferrick, made sure all of our food and beverage service stayed on track. Everything ran seamlessly, and we had the absolute best and most memorable wedding!

The Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel in Boston, MA provided the picture perfect location & space for our daughter âs & her husbandâs dream wedding. From the beautiful, cheerful, immaculate & open Lobby, with its fresh flowers and crystal chandeliers, to the elegant Venetian Room for cocktails and delicious appetizers, to then, the historic OvalRoom, which overlooks Copley Square: it was spectacular. Our daughter had many creative ideas for their special day & there was no one better to see these details fall into place more seamlessly than Alice Fay, the Copleyâs Senior Event Sales Manager and Wedding Specialist. She was personable, professional, punctual & helpful. If we had to do it all over again my husband and I would not change one thing at all. We have received so many compliments from so many people about venue, food and just all around timing and presentation. We will never forget our daughterâs wedding at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel.

The Fairmont Copley Plaza was truly a dream wedding venue! From our first encounter with Alice Fay, Head Event Coordinator, to the day of the wedding, everything was truly perfect. Alice was extremely responsive via email and phone, and the Fairmont was super flexible with all of our asks and needs. Alice made the daunting wedding process feel seamless and was always able to answer my questions with ease.The tasting experience was incredible and included choice of wine as well as 3x starters, and 2x options each of meat, fish, and vegetarian to try. They were also super helpful with tips and tricks on what to do with folks with allergies and could even create dishes for you if there was something that you really wanted that wasn't on the menu.Alice worked seamlessly with our other vendors such as the band and photo booth to ensure they had everything they needed on the night of so that things could run smoothly. She truly has seen it all and the amount of tips and tricks that were shared were priceless. From the day we got there before the wedding, I felt truly like royalty. All the staff was so nice and accommodating. The food came out quickly and was extremely delicious - not like normal wedding food that is usually only ok - we really felt like we were eating at a high end restaurant. The night of the wedding they also had a suite prepared for us with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries - truly no detail was missed! I could not recommend this venue more if you are thinking about it for your wedding or next event. It was literally a dream come true!

First off I high-key hate the knot but as my event coordinator Ashley Kirouac and the Fairmony Copley was so absolutely WONDRFUL I will leave as many glowing reviews in as many places that I can.Initially I thought that finding a venue would be simple. \"Oh I like this place!\" and be done. Well unfortunately I work in hospitality and know how events do and *should* be run. The sheer amount of event coordinators out in the city of Boston that do not give a f*ck about you, your wedding, or (seemingly) their jobs literally blew my mind. Anyway, the point of that rant is to say that immediately upon walking into the Fairmont and meeting Ashley I knew that she KNEW her stuff and I had made a rare find. She was timely, professional, has a background in hospitality and service from the ground up (which is so underrated but so very important because it means the difference between knowing how things really run for large events down to the most minute detail), and explained things I meant to ask before I could even get to them. I hired her on the spot. Do you know how rare it is in hospitality for someone to truly know what they're doing? Well Ashley does and weddings are her jam. She did everything in her power to make my requests a reality and a beautiful one at that- right down to taking time out of her schedule for personal meetings to help show me my own vision because she understood my need for visual support. Not only that, but the hotel itself was beautiful, the food was wonderful, the service was timely and professional, and the bartenders kept up with my lively crew. 10/10 recommend!

Upon touring the venue, we knew this was the place for us! Ashley Kirouac was super helpful in keeping us organized from the start. She broke down every detail imaginable and made the planning process convenient & easy for us to handle. From the initial tour all the way through our Sunday brunch, she kept everything organized behind the scenes as the mastermind of the operation. The Fairmont itself is a stunning location located in the heart of Boston. We are so happy with the decision to have our reception & next day brunch there, because the Fairmont took care of every step of the process for us. For such a beautiful spot, I had to keep asking myself & friends if anything was missed in our contract because it was so affordable for such comprehensive service compared to similar venues in the Boston area. They took care of everything - food, cake coordination, table & chair rentals, linens, flatware, dance floor (the list could go on!). They even provided vendor recommendations, which streamlined our planning process with them as well!Allie Ferrick acted as the banquet manager and kept the reception moving smoothly. Where do I even begin? What an incredible experience we had at the Fairmont Copley Plaza! Our wedding was absolutely spectacular! The venue, the food, the service, everything was sheer perfection. The day, and everything leading up to the day, went off without a hitch. I felt supported, cared for and important throughout the entire process. First and foremost shout out to Ashley Kirouac! The absolute superstar who seems to take on an immense volume of complex tasks with a calm and poise about her that is unmatched. When we went for our site tour, she sold us immediately as she talked us through everything and walked us through the event spaces. We knew instantly that she is the person you want to be in charge of your wedding. The banquet managers Sal Aguilar and Allie Ferrick also did a phenomenal job! The dining experience was absolutely top notch and we received so many comments on how good the food was and how amazing everything looked and felt throughout the event. I can't thank them enough, and the entire team at the Fairmont. What an incredible, magical, unforgettable place to host your special day. We had a 4-day Indian wedding in Boston, which culminated at the Fairmont Copley Plaza for our wedding ceremony and reception. Simply put, our experience at the Fairmont was elegant, beautiful, and breathtaking - we loved every second of it, from planning to the the actual event, almost entirely because Alice Fay (Fairmont's Event Manager-Wedding Specialist) is just truly *exceptional*There are a few reasons we loved working with the Fairmont (and Alice!). First, the venue is incredibly elegant and stunning, from the hallways, to the main hall of the hotel, to the Grand Ballroom. We held our Baraat, when the Indian groom rides to the front of a venue on a horse, surrounded by friends and music, outside the hotel in the heart of Copley Square - it felt like a Bollywood scene with lots of energy and dancing. Our wedding ceremony (and later in the night, reception) was in the Grand Ballroom, and the cocktail hour in between in the Oval and Venetian rooms. Every single moment of the night felt magical. Second, the Fairmont chefs are amazing, but our family also strongly preferred having Indian cuisine as part of the reception. Fortunately, the Fairmont allows 2 exclusive caterers to work at their venue (Masala Art for Indian cuisine and another vendor for Kosher)... which is a stark contrast to most venues in Boston, which only offer a single (their own) catering service. Guests are STILL raving about how delicious our Indian dinner was - and the impeccable white glove serving of dinner by the Fairmont staff (we wanted several main dishes to be served to each guest, rather than a plated meal or buffet). The service was elegant, classy, and efficient. In addition, the hors d'oeuvres, dessert stations, and after party food items were made by the Fairmont's chefs, and just amazingly delicious and beautiful. Third, our wedding was large and elements of it, quite complicated (!), but everything went so seamlessly because of Alice! Alice is incredibly responsive, detail-oriented and meticulous - we knew we were in great hands from the moment we started planning our event with her. Alice is also extremely thoughtful - we felt extremely well cared for throughout the planning process and on the night of our wedding. In short, our night was exceptional and magical, in large part because of how invested Alice was in make sure everything went perfectly.We are eternally grateful to the Fairmont, Alice Fay, and all the staff for a truly grand, elegant, and beautiful experience that we will never forget!

Two professionals whose expertise made the event go flawlessly. We were all over the place with planning and Ashley was always patient, honest, and gave us great advice! The fairmont copley is the best wedding venue in Boston period. We had 245 guests and they are still raving about the event! As the father of the bride all that you want is for your daughter to be happy and she told me it was the happiest day of her life. The setting, the staff, the food, the band, the lighting, weâre exceptional. It was a year long planning for the event and Ashley and Emily made it a perfect event. They really go above and beyond. Emily, the banquet manager, did a phenomenal job. Everything was timed wonderfully! Iâve had several guests tell us afterwards that it was the best wedding theyâd ever been to, and the service was impeccable. Recently had my wedding at the Fairmont. It was absolutely a wonderful, memorable wedding. The pandemic had us postpone it a couple of times but was totally worth it. The food was fantastic and the Oval Room in which we used was gorgeous. All the servers were professional. We added on churros to our wedding as dessert, and the guests loved it. We got so many compliments to our wedding. I highly recommend the Fairmont!! Plus, Alice Fay (the wedding specialist) is fantastic to work with.

My husband and I are so thrilled that we chose the Fairmont Copley for our wedding venue. Ashley Kirouac made wedding planning seem easy, believe it or not. She thought of everything that we didnât and was so accommodating of our many questions and budget restrictions. On the day of the wedding, when my husband and I made a seating arrangement mistake, Ashley and the banquet manager, Sal Aguilar, made sure everything was made right so we didnât need to worry.We saved on florals and decor, since the space itself was so ornate. Plus, the elegant interior convinced me to do most of our formal wedding photos indoors, which is a great safety to have for unpredictable winter weather. The was location perfect for our out of town guests because itâs walking distance to the Amtrak, close to the airport and other hotels if guest chose not to stay at the Fairmont. Our guests loved that they could walk everywhere, including to our church ceremony across the street.I highly recommend having your wedding here!

Plus, the elegant interior convinced me to do most of our formal wedding photos indoors, which is a great safety to have for unpredictable winter weather. The was location perfect for our out of town guests because itâs walking distance to the Amtrak, close to the airport and other hotels if guest chose not to stay at the Fairmont. Our guests loved that they could walk everywhere, including to our church ceremony across the street.I highly recommend having your wedding here!

If you're looking to have your wedding in one of the most beautiful and elegant spots in Boston, the Fairmont Copley Plaza is it. I cannot tell you how many of my guests have told me that it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to. They also raved about the food, which was absolutely delicious. Alice was our coordinator and I cannot speak more highly of her. She really knows her stuff and it was a huge help to have her there handling all the details of the day. We had to postpone our wedding a year due to COVID, and it was so easy to work with Alice and the Fairmont to move everything to the new 2021 date. Through countless emails and phone calls over the past 2.5 years she was such a positive and helpful person to have on my team. The whole experience was well worth it and I would highly recommend!

My husband and I booked the St James, Singleton and Copley rooms for our wedding reception back in 2018 so we got to work with Ashley for a LONG time which was such a blessing. She is so warm and friendly and knowledgeable and just made every part of our wedding planning a breeze - even dealing with the pandemic and our two postponed wedding dates. We wanted to select a venue that epitomized old school Boston charm with a nod to the glitz and glam of the early 1900s era - and it did not disappoint! The guests were absolutely blown away! Fairmont Copley Plaza is truly the Grand Dame of Back Bay, and the ballroom is a perfect location for a bride who is looking for a more traditional wedding reception vibe with a large dance floor, gorgeous chandeliers, and architectural accents that are just beyond. The hotel itself is centrally located and provided my guests with a great starting point to visit the city's main attractions. We worked with Alice Fay as the Wedding Specialist, and she truly hones in on every detail to make it the most perfect event. She is very detailed and makes wonderful recommendations in terms of fitting your budget, as well as assisting with the overall design and layout of the reception. You can tell she is an expert, and my wedding was a testimony to this! What can I say? We were a covid couple who pushed our big celebration out to 2022. But with all the uncertainty of 2020, we still wanted to honor our original date in a special way. The Fairmont Copley was the perfect venue for that! Ashley was so helpful in guiding us through our options for a minimony and the hotel was the perfect setting for our intimate day. While the best part was marrying my best friend, the second best part was the croissant croutons on the salad. We still talk about them, six months later. Truly, it was a special day and I can imagine how grand a full scale wedding would have been in that beautiful space. We were treated with a superior level of service and can't wait to return on future anniversaries.Also, it was a location in the new Little Women movie and so I got to pretend to be Amy March for a minute which is AMAZING.

I would give Ashley and all the staff at Fairmont 20 stars if I could! We secured our date in March of 2020 just as the the world shut down due to COVID - after our tour with Ashley, we knew we had to have our reception there. My wedding was on May 1, 2021 - although the size of our wedding was reduced by about 50% due to the pandemic, my husband and I both agree that the day was absolutely perfect and that is largely due to all of Ashley's hard work! Planning a wedding during a pandemic was very difficult and stressful, and I can't even imagine what the process would be like to navigate as a vendor. Ashley did it with ease and still made everything feel special (and fun!) with all the unknown factors throughout the planning process. She was extremely patient the whole way through and always made time to speak with me over the phone whenever I asked and followed up with answers to concerns promptly. Every detail was attended to on the big day and the food was delicious! If you're considering Fairmont Copley for your wedding venue, my advice to you is DO IT! I looked at several other Boston venues, and there really isn't another that compares. The Fairmont is so rich in history and the photo opportunities are unmatched. I look at my wedding photos at least weekly. You are 100% sure to have a beautiful and memorable wedding day here!!

The way the staff worked quickly through the planning process made us feel like we were in great hands. They thought of everything that we would never have thought to ask and worked with us to stay in our budget. Ashley always had great ideas to work into the wedding and was so professional and gracious to our family and friends the day of. If amazing and helpful staff and a gorgeous space doesnât do it for you, the food is what will solidify the decision. The food is probably the best wedding food I have ever had (not just saying that because we got married there). The food tasting was so hard to decide between one excellent choice from the other excellent choice. Shout out to Ralph who was amazing during the tasting and Chef Zaid! The plated dinner the day of was EXACTLY like the food we tasted. For those who have done banquets know this isnât always the case. We got married at The Fairmont Copley Plaza in June 2019, and it was absolutely beautiful! We looked at several other high-end hotels in Boston, and none of them compared to The Fairmont. The suites for getting ready are truly glamorous. You cannot ask for a better location, and the gorgeous interior of the hotel made our wedding day and wedding pictures/video phenomenal! The food is also incredibly delicious and the service was impeccable! This is a great venue for any season, and we cannot recommend it highly enough!

If you are lucky enough to get the chance to get married at the Fairmont Copley Plaza, DO NOT PASS IT UP! Every little detail of our weekend was PERFECT thanks to everyone involved at the Fairmont Copley Plaza. Ashley Kirouac (coordinator) knocked it out of the park and I don't know what I would have done without her. She was so patient and quick in answering email upon email that I sent her throughout the process. She made sure every one of my guests was taken care of properly during their stay and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and relaxed the entire weekend and didn't have to lift a finger or worry about anything. The top notch service started with Ashley, but certainly didn't end there... from the caterers, to the bartenders, to the receptionists, and the valet guys... we felt like royalty the entire weekend. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning and made for wonderful pictures. I was a little nervous that such a beautiful hotel would make for a stuffy reception, but it was exactly the opposite. The Oval Room was perfect for our reception of ~160 people and everyone was on the dance floor the entire night. I couldn't have dreamed of such a perfect wedding day and a big part of that is due to Fairmont Copley Plaza's outstanding service and stunning venue. Every couple who chooses Fairmont Copley Plaza will experience the same flawlessness on their wedding day, without a doubt!!

Her composure, positivity, intelligence, transparency, attention to detail, humor, kindness, and sense of design were critical to the success of our wedding. The event space, food, specialty cocktails, and accommodations were all top of the line. Many guests commented that the hotel's catering was the best food they had ever eaten at a wedding. The hotel staff were willing to customize almost everything to our liking and was very receptive to requests we had regarding changes to lighting/sound/etc the night of the wedding.Lastly, in addition to Ashley we want to give a shoutout to our banquet managers, Haley Russell & Emily Lopez, and all of the staff who made our wedding such a joyous success. Our wedding at the Fairmont Copley was absolutely amazing. We used the St. James Room, Venetian & Oval Room, and the Grand Ballroom for the entire weekend. The actual venue can speak for itself as it's breathtaking but Alice Fay was hands down the best woman and coordinator of the weekend. She made sure everything was perfect and that every detail was captured. She is always so prompt with email responses and always makes you feel so special. We had multiple people tell us how amazing the plated dinner was and saying that it was the best plated chicken they have ever had at a wedding. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't change anything. The Fairmont was definitely the best decision. The food, service and the rooms were fabulous and made our wedding weekend perfect.

It has been over a year since our wedding at the Fairmont Copley and I am still overwhelmed by how incredible the entire day was. Even though they hold weddings regularly, they have a way of making you feel like you are the only ones that matter and that your day is just as important to them as it is to you. We worked directly with Alicia Lapriore and I can't say enough about how phenomenal she was. My husband and I have been in a couple of weddings since our own and it's made us realize even more so how truly lucky we were to have Alicia. Not once did my husband and I feel the stress that many couples feel on their wedding day; and that was in large part due to Alicia. She thought of everything and made our day better than we could have ever imagined. One of the first things I said to my husband the day after our wedding was, \"I am going to miss emailing with Alicia\". She is an absolute gem to work with and the Fairmont is lucky to have her.

Getting married at the Fairmont Copley was like being in a fairy tale! Our guests couldn't stop gushing about how incredible the space was! We had our ceremony and reception in the Oval Room and our cocktail hour in the Venetian Room. We loved the speakeasy bar in the Venetian and the beautiful blue colors of the Oval. The hotel lobby and hallways are also so opulent that we took all of our first look/portraits there. Our coordinator was Alicia LaPriore, who was wonderful to work with. She has a very calm approach that put all of us at ease during the planning process. We also loved the hotel rooms - each one is different, with features like fireplaces (non-working). The bridal suite was a dream and perfect for getting ready with the bridal party!

Alice our coordinator was amazing! and SO flexible with menu choices and swaps and advice. Food was amazing. Apps were amazing. Staff was so amazing! There is nothing I can say negatively about the Copley. Everyone was so nice, accommodating, professional, and just so great. Alice was the best person of contact!!! She really helped guide us through the evening and made sure the night was set up for success. The space is also just gorgeous. Wouldnât change anything!! Everyone loved loved loved the food!!! And did I mention flexible with the menu?! Planning everything with Alice was a joy!!!

The biggest source of stress on our wedding day was our wedding coordinator at the Fairmont Copley. We had our wedding in October and our coordinator was Alicia LaPriore. We had been told that we could entrust the Fairmont and our coordinator with ensuring that the day went smoothly, and when the day actually came, that could not have been farther from the truth. When we reflect on our wedding, we think of both the positives and the unfortunate negatives: The Positives: The hotel is beautiful. The chandeliers and hotel dĂŠcor made for great wedding pictures, and when combined with the hard work from our florist and uplighting specialist, our jaws dropped when we entered the ballroom for the first time. The food was incredible and we had multiple guests tell us it was the best steak theyâve ever had. The food and drink service during our reception were top notch; every guest was served within five minutes, and our own personal attendant made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. The help and attention that we received from these individuals (without our needing to ask for it) made the latter part of the night run smoothly and put us at ease. The Concerning Negatives: Our coordinator at the Fairmont left more to be desired - â˘\tThere was a general lack of communication throughout. Our wedding coordinator took no initiative to proactively reach out or inform us of details without our specifically asking the question (in some instances, multiple times before receiving an answer). â˘\tLacked attention to detail and didn't know our ceremony start time ON THE WEEK OF OUR WEDDING. 120 chairs were set up for 157 guests. My now-husband is the one that noticed this before our ceremony, and our florist had to hunt down someone to bring in extra chairs. This caused chaos for our guests at seating time, as they were told that they could not enter the room, and, as a result, had nowhere to goâ˘\tWe had asked multiple times whether a Fairmont representative would direct guests into and out of the ceremony, cocktail hour & reception rooms, or whether our ushers should do so. We had been assured that our wedding coordinator would handle this directly. On the day of our wedding, our guests were left confused as to where to go, as our wedding coordinator was nowhere to be found. â˘\tI had told our wedding coordinator in advance that a handicapped would need a wheelchair and access to the handicap lift onsite. No one provided us with a wheelchair or directed us where to find one. When a wheelchair was finally provided, we were unable to operate the handicap lift, as our coordinator was, again, unavailable. â˘\tWhile on our honeymoon, we received a final bill (which we were not expecting, as we had settled the \"final\" total the week of the wedding and were told that only incidentals for guest parking would be accrued at that point), that was over $2,000 over what we were lead to expect to pay. There was no explanation as to why this differed from the final cost figures that we had been provided. I replied to our coordinator that I would take a look at the bill upon our return from our honeymoon, only to find that my card was charged that same day without my authorization. What we've taken away from this experience, and our advice to other couples, is that when you are selecting a venue, the wedding coordinator is just as important as the aesthetics of the building itself.

The Venetian and Oval Rooms were perfect for our guest size of around 150, and allowed us to transition our cocktail hour into the reception. The inside of the hotel is simply breathtaking and filled with mirrors, chandeliers, and gold interior decorating, which made for the perfect backdrop for our photos. Alice Fay was our coordinator, and she deserves the highest praise! She is very prompt with emails and has a wealth of knowledge and experience to guide the planning process. She truly enjoys what she does and it shows! The food at both our tasting and the reception was absolutely delicious - our guests raved about the oyster bar and the lobster salad in particular. The staff made us feel like royalty on our special day and we could not be happier!

We got married at the Fairmont Copley in the grand ballroom this past October, and I wish I could give them 10 stars! Everything was PERFECT from the early planning stages up to the entire wedding weekend. The venue was just magical and the staff truly made us feel like royalty. Alice Fay was our coordinator, and I have her to thank for making the wedding of our dreams a reality. Alice was available every step of the way! I was a very indecisive bride and also faced with the challenge of planning the wedding from the midwest, where my husband and I live...Alice went above and beyond to offer her help and advice with literally everything from the menu selection, decor & room set up, to helping me find a new hair stylist when mine backed out THREE weeks before the wedding! She was incredibly professional and just an overall pleasure to work with. It there is one person you want on your team through the whole process of planning and on the big day itself, it's her. She's become a friend and I hope to keep in touch :) Our guests STILL can't stop talking about what an amazing wedding it was. And the food! Everyone agreed that the food was delicious and by far the best meal they have ever had at a wedding. So good, that Jeff and I made a point to eat our whole meal before making our rounds to chat with our guests. I could go on and on about how happy I was with just everything, but instead I'll close with this- As cliche as it sounds...if you envision your wedding to be a \"magical fairytail\" like I did - the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel is the place to make it happen. From the day we reserved the date until we left after the post-wedding brunch, it was a dream come true. Working with Alicia and Sarah was effortless and wonderful . They are truly remarkable at their jobs. We had functions in the Grand Ballroom, the Oval Room and Venetian Room which are all magnificent. All our guests commented on the elegance of the hotel and efficiency and friendliness of the Fairmont staff. I highly recommend booking your wedding at this gorgeous hotel which is situated in a beautiful part of Boston. It was a magical evening my family and I will never forget!

We held our reception in the Grand Ballroom and could not have been more pleased with the event from start to finish. Alicia is a true professional and made the planning process extremely easy, providing guidance with vendors, answering our (many!) questions in a timely manner, and giving us confidence that the night of the big event would be handled seamlessly as well (and it was!). Our guests have since raved about the exquisite venue, and our parents in particular have commented on how impressed they were with Alicia and the Fairmont team. The Fairmont Copley Plaza was a beautiful venue for my wedding reception. Erica went above and beyond to work with us on our menu and signature cocktails, and many guests commented on how delicious the food was. Not only is this such a beautiful venue, but the food was outstanding! Our guests are still commenting on the amazing time they had at our wedding and how beautiful everything was. The bridal suite was also superb and was spacious enough for everyone to get ready in before heading to the church. The Fairmont is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about getting married there.

The fairmont copley hotel was a beautiful hotel from the lobby to the function rooms. The front desk was friendly and the bell boy personal extremely helpful!!! The wedding suite was beautiful, slightly cold bathrooms w/ marble floors. The food was devine!!!\r\rI recently had a wedding there in the oval and venetian rooms which i absolutely loved MY WEDDING. Unfortunately, I did not have the best experience with the wedding planning team. Their Communication and Organization was a HUGE challenge for my wedding planner the rehearsal night. There were numerous mistakes made with my billing that they kept changing repeatedly through email, which I was not checking at the time because I was literally dressing for my rehearsal. When presented with final billing paperwork to sign after rehearsal, she could not explain the increased charges to the bill. The total numbers were not adding up to the previous amount that we had agreed upon in previous discussion. We ended up having to get management involved as our wedding planner had stormed off after we had questioned her on the billing discrepancys. When management was finally able to be contacted, she was extremely helpful and resolved the issues quickly. Unfortunately, this added a great deal of stress right before our rehearsal dinner. \r\rThe following wedding morning, we found that 2 of my tall flower pieces and wedding toasting champagne flutes were missing which we addressed with the front desk- We were told someone would be in touch with us. 2 days had past and no one was following up with me, leading me having to call the hotel several times to try and get in touch with the wedding planning team/clean up. With a hotel of such stature and caliber, you would think a simple issue like this would have been handled swiftly and easily. Unfortunately it turned out to be a headache, and the last thing you want to deal with the day after your wedding while being emotionally drained and exhausted is trying to communicate with a non responsive staff just to find out what happened to your wedding flutes. \r\rHopefully this is a situation that the wedding planning team can learn from to prevent for future weddings as it was Not fun to go through right before your wedding.

My husband and I visited Fairmont Copley Plaza last summer while searching for a wedding venue. It had been one of the first places we went to visit, we fell in love at first site, and booked it shortly after. I loved the vintage/glamour that the entire hotel displayed, and he loved how grand and spacious it was. We met with Tracey and she was extremely helpful, from start to finish. I have dietary limitations due to celiac disease and the staff was truly spectacular in ensuring that I ate gluten free, not only at the wedding, but also at the tasting. Speaking of the tasting, this process was amazing - in all the wedding hype you occasionally forget to relax and enjoy the process, but it was impossible not to enjoy the tasting, we were treated like kings and queens for the day, I will never forget it. We are Italian/Americans, so good food is very important to any successful event with our families, and we were not let down, the steak and scallops were both melt in your mouth delicious. Our wedding was in the end of May, and a month later we are still getting compliments from guests about how stunning the hotel was, how attentive the staff was, and how delicious the food was. We held our cocktail hour in the Oval room and a friend of ours played piano while guests mingled. The room adjacent to the Grand Ballroom was reserved for the wedding party to enjoy cocktail hour on our own. The Grand Ballroom literally made my mouth hit the floor when we took a sneak peak before the guests entered, the photographer caught this expression, so I was able to see later that my husband's expression mirrored mine. We had 215 guests and it was perfect size, though it could have held many more guests if needed. The morning after, we held a brunch in the St James room, and it was just as perfect as every other detail of the entire weekend. If you are fortunate enough to find Fairmont Copley Plaza on your possible wedding venue list, you should know that its not just beautiful, it is truly the whole package. I hope that all other brides find their day to be as fairytale perfect as ours was, and I know you will not be disappointed with Fairmont Copley Plaza.

Initially it was somewhat difficult to get in touch with the right people at this venue. However, they came through in the end -- helping us iron out every detail and being very flexible. That the place itself is gorgeous goes without saying -- there was never the feeling of being lost in a big hotel.

I got married at the Fairmont Copley Plaza hotel on Saturday, October 27, 2012. It was such an amazing and magical experience! Erica is the perfect person to assist in any wedding at the Fairmont! From the beginning of the wedding planning to the day of the big event, Erica was very responsive and helpful. From ideas on how to setup the room for ceremony & reception to locating our favorite wines for the reception, she is outstanding! The Fairmont was the perfect setting for our wedding with its older infrastructure reminding us of how old the city of Boston, and the hotel, really is...with a modern update (newly renovated). There is so much history in this particular Fairmont and it is just gorgeous! Wish I could do it all over again!

We loved the fairmont copley - the grand ballroom is like no place else in Boston. It is truly magical. We got so many compliments on the space, the food and the service. The only negative is that the guest rooms are pricey and you can only book a certain number at a wedding rate.

The staff were courteous and friendly, and the catering manager and executive chef were even more helpful than I could have ever imagined--it was almost like having a wedding assistant or planner. The night of the wedding, someone was always on hand in order to coordinate logistics, and the food was delicious. My guests are still telling me almost a month after about how wonderful the food was.\r\rI highly and unequivocally recommend this hotel.
