The venue was undeniably stunning, which is precisely why we chose it for our wedding ceremony. The ceremony space, the balcony, and the expansive doors that opened to the breathtaking surroundings perfectly matched our vision. However, our positive expectations ended there. Despite the substantial cost, the organization left much to be desired. Communication was chaotic, and execution had its flaws.We opted to rent tablecloths through the venue, but the tablecloth provider altered their procedures without notifying Skyview. As a result, they charged our card months in advance, contrary to what we were told. They also mishandled our payment information, attempting to charge the wrong card without confirmation. They were far from apologetic in resolving these issues.Email correspondence suffered from disorganization, often involving multiple individuals, making it easy for details to be lost. Admittedly, I should have been more vigilant, but given the substantial cost, I expected a higher level of service.The rental cabins initially reserved for the wrong date, despite assurances at the time of booking through Skyview. Fortunately, the lodging staff swiftly corrected this oversight, earning a 10/10 rating for their prompt assistance.For our rehearsal dinner, we were promised access to the community room by 3:30, but upon arrival at 5:30, it remained locked, necessitating a call and a hurried response.During our reception, some guests brought in outside alcohol, causing a stir. Regrettably, instead of addressing this issue through the designated contact, the venue workers confronted the bride and groom. Their reaction was aggressive, even after our apologies and our lack of prior knowledge. A more considerate announcement would have been preferable.Despite the stunning venue itself, the overall experience left much to be desired. Had we known about these issues in advance, we might have chosen a different location in Estes Park. Thank you, Skyview, for the beautiful venue, but the overall experience left room for improvement.

The location is absolutely beautiful, the venue is a really great value, and Wendy and Tripp are awesome and they helped everything go so smoothly. Best venue ever! My husband and I had the impossible task of finding a wedding venue that both fit his fancy standards and my rustic mountain views. Skyview was perfect! And Tripp and Wendy made the entire process easy and fun! Seriously I cannot recommend this place enough!!!

SkyView is an absolutely beautiful venue, especially for folks coming from out of town. They were completely in awe of the views, even better on the rooftop! If you're looking for a location that is super accessible to downtown Estes and is family-friendly, this is the place for you. The entire resort is illuminated at night, and is quite charming. In terms of our experience with Wendy and Tripp, it went fairly smooth. Communication was decent, but felt a bit disorganized. At times, Wendy seemed irritated working with us, which only amplified the day before the wedding. She made multiple people feel like they were bothering her when they had questions or needed help. It's possible we just caught her on a bad day, but it was a bit disappointing. More of a 'let's get this over with' vibe than a 'let's have this be one of the best days of your life' vibe. Fortunately, it did not impact the day, and we still had a wonderful time. The Honeymoon suite is also average. It's the same as all of the other rooms and since we had to book 3+ nights, it was more of a hassle to pack and move up to that room without a late checkout. We then packed back up and went back to our regular room. A late checkout or a slightly nicer room would be preferable.

We had a perfect day at Skyview! The venue was great, we had gotten on sight lodging for our wedding parties and had a great time! The biggest win though is having Wendy and Tripp by your side during the whole process. They are professionals and give you honest insight into how to have the best day, they replace the need to have a day of coordinator and with how beautiful the venue is we spent minimal money on flowers/decor, which overall made our very affordable. Was a great day for myself and my wife and I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone.

We had a perfect day at Skyview! The venue was great, we had gotten on sight lodging for our wedding parties and had a great time! The biggest win though is having Wendy and Tripp by your side during the whole process. Tripp and Wendy made our wedding so magically memorable! They were so incredibly helpful in the entire process (from helping out in brainstorming to ensuring our wedding night was the best) they curated everything to our needs. The views were incredible and breathtaking, the venue allowed for you to be surrounded by mountains. We had our wedding at Fall River Village in October 2022. The venue is beautiful no matter what season you are planning your wedding. This was important to us since most of our guests were traveling out of state and we wanted them to be able to appreciate the Rocky Mountains. Most of our guests stayed on site and it was so fun to see all of our friends/family in one area. We did not have a wedding planner and truthfully did not need one with Tripp and Wendy. Their attention to detail and expertise were invaluable. They treated us and our guests like family. Don't hesitate to check out Fall River Village and say hello to Tripp and Wendy for us!

SkyView was an AMAZING venue for our wedding. The staff were so organized and were an absolute joy to work with. They have a lot of experience as they host several weddings regularly. The venue itself is beautiful, and it is a perfect location to host the ceremony as well as the reception. Most of our guests stayed at Fall River village and some stayed in other close by inns/hotels. The area is walkable to a lot of shops and restaurants in Estes Park. Our day was perfect, and that is because of the staff at SkyView and our vendors.

We were married at Skyview this past September and would recommend it again in a heartbeat. This is the perfect location for a mountain wedding; not only is it beautiful but it's honestly easy to get to as well (which can't be said for many mountain venues). The venue sits on a resort site so your guests can stay in the condos right at the venue which is a short walk to downtown Estes alongside the river walk. For the actual day of. The ceremony was up on the outdoor deck overlooking the mountains. While it gets a little windy it was perfect and having a bridal suite right next to the deck is perfect. The reception took place on the main floor and having an indoor - outdoor venue was perfect for September in Colorado where it was plenty warm inside and the deck was an ideal cooling off area. We had fire pits outside on the deck as well. Tripp and Wendy were absolutely phenomenal in helping the day go off without a hitch. They clearly have a lot of experience with wedding planning and coordinating and made sure the day happened perfectly.

We had the most perfect wedding at SkyView! The location and the views cannot be beat. The views from the roof for the ceremony were spectacular and made for a wonderful cocktail hour space. The main floor for dinner and dancing is beautiful and intimate. The large glass windows that can be open or closed are perfect for any weather condition. The outside spaces on the deck with the fire pits and chairs are also a great way for guests to feel included in the evening even if they donât want to be inside and dancing. We had many friends and family members stay at the condos on site or at one of the local hotels that were walking distance from the venue. As part of the SkyView booking we had access to the community room and used that for welcome drinks for our guests prior to the wedding, which was an awesome way to spend more time with guests. The day of the wedding could not have gone better. Tripp and Wendy were fantastic coordinators and made our day exactly how we wanted it. We went into our initial coordinating meeting with them and immediately felt cared about and important. They were always there to quickly answer questions and think one step ahead so that everything was prepared and ready to go on our wedding day allowing us to just relax and enjoy the day. We just had our daughterâs wedding at Skyview and could not have been happier with the venue, Tripp and Wendy ( who helped coordinate everything), the lodging and the views! Planning a destination wedding is stressful when you donât have the comfort of being familiar with the facility and vendors. Tripp and Wendy helped every step of the way , answering all of our questions and helping with every request ! The photos are amazing with the beautiful views and the location is convenient to town ! We loved every minute of our incredible weekend at Skyview Fall River Lodge!

Show of hands: who finds wedding planning stressful af? Iâm sure itâs safe to say that if youâve planned a wedding, or really any sort of huge event, youâre probably familiar with the dread that comes with trying to find vendors with the perfect accommodations, availability, and location. If youâre trying to find someone easy to work with as well, the stakes are a little higher. This is certainly how I felt most of the time I was planning my wedding for the last 18 months. Well, Tripp and Wendy, and SkyView at Fall River, were 100% the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.SkyView is truly a stunning location; pictures alone wonât do justice for seeing the sky change colors at sunset from the reception deck. The views of the Continental Divide were legitimately gorgeous enough to distract me from a prompt during my ceremony, and my wife couldnât blame me. The floor to ceiling windows gave our guests plenty of beautiful scenery to look at â seriously, donât waste money on a lot of extra decorations. Just point to the windows. There are beautiful accommodations at the resort, and some of our guests were thrilled to be there for the whole weekend. The resort is an easy walk to downtown Estes Park, and there are very convenient shuttle stops available nearby. Itâs also a super quick drive into Rocky Mountain National Park!Tripp and Wendy were our coordinators for the weekend, and they couldnât have been better. They were friendly, helpful, and incredibly efficient from the start. We knew our event was in capable hands as soon as we met them, and honestly it was a huge relief to know that one of the biggest pieces of the puzzle came together perfectly, and helped keep the others in line. I canât recommend SkyView enough, whether for a vacation, or a wedding

SkyView was absolutely amazing for our May wedding. We planned from a distance and took a trip to visit several venues while planning. This was the last venue we planned on visiting during the trip and had actually decided to book a different place until we saw SkyView. It checked absolutely all the boxes and was the best decision we made!Estes Park is an adorable town with all the small town feel but all the amenities you would want. Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Some of our guests stayed at Fall River Village but many stayed at the multitude of other options within walking distance. Even with 3 other weddings happening our same weekend, the village was quiet and peaceful and we were able to enjoy time with friends and family around the main event. Many guests stayed longer and enjoyed the town and nearby hiking. Tripp and his team were fantastic. SkyView changed ownership after we booked so we were concerned until we met with Tripp. He has a ton of event experience and made everything super easy. Everything was ready to go the day of the wedding and were flexible about moving things around to best fit our needs. We did all photos on-site at either the rock wall or off the balconies and they all turned out amazing. We were able to open the glass walls during the reception and guests loved being able to hangout on the balcony by firetables in-between dancing. This place was perfect for us!

We planned our wedding right in the middle of the pandemic, and Tess was there to help every step of the way â when we couldnât come tour the venue, she sent us pictures and gave us a live video tour over FaceTime. She kept us updated on protocols and guest limits as we moved closer to June 2021, and then celebrated with us when everyone could get vaccinated. She even went the extra mile to store our wedding decorations for us several weeks before our event because our family had no other way to get them from our many different home states to Colorado in time for the event. On the day of, she was composed and witty and full of joyful energy, despite the fact that sheâd just come off hosting 12 weddings in 13 days. Tess is marvelous, and the venue itself is magical. GORGEOUS rooftop ceremony area, plus the reception room is so unique and lovely with plenty of room for dancing and giant doors that slide open to let in the mountain breeze. The bridal suite is perfect for getting ready, and we were even able to host our rehearsal dinner in the resortâs community room. Tess and Sarah at SkyView are simply the BEST EVER! Our wedding was originally planned for April 2020 but we obviously had to postpone. During what could have been a very stressful time, Tess and Sarah made the process seem so easy! They responded right away to all of our questions and keep us in the loop in the weeks and months leading up to our rescheduled date. It seemed like things were changing by the minute but they were in constant contact with us. Our wedding day could not have been more perfect, everyone in our bridal party knew exactly where to be and when. The ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and all of the reception events started on time. Our families commented to us after how amazingly smooth our wedding ran and how beyond impressed they were with Tess and Sarah! The venue itself is stunning, the pictures do not do it justice! Skyview is an absolutely breathtaking venue. The design and setting of the building are unlike anything else you will find in the area. The rooftop is the perfect setting for a ceremony, with amazing views of the mountains. All of our guests were blown alway. The space is perfectly designed for weddings.On top of the amazing space, you get to work with wonderful staff. Planning a wedding during Covid was stressful to say the least, and Tess and Sarah communicated regularly with us about what the day would look like. They were extremely understanding and kind during these circumstances.On wedding day, the helped us set everything up, and they worked with our vendors to get everything done on time. Skyview is an absolutely breathtaking venue. The design and setting of the building are unlike anything else you will find in the area. The rooftop is the perfect setting for a ceremony, with amazing views of the mountains. All of our guests were blown alway. The space is perfectly designed for weddings.On top of the amazing space, you get to work with wonderful staff. Planning a wedding during Covid was stressful to say the least, and Tess and Sarah communicated regularly with us about what the day would look like. They were extremely understanding and kind during these circumstances.On wedding day, the helped us set everything up, and they worked with our vendors to get everything done on time. I can honestly say wedding day was seamless, and I owe much of that to this fabulous team. This is an amazing venue, I wouldnât change a thing. HIGHLY recommend âșïž

After the ceremony we enjoyed a rooftop cocktail hour and then went downstairs to the venue space which is gorgeous as is, so we didnât need too many decorations. At sunset the sliding doors were opened so we could enjoy the late-August air and an open air reception. Once the doors were closed, the fire pits And couches on the deck made a great place to step away from the music and catch up with friends and loved ones. Most of the attendees stayed onsite at the townhomes and condos on property, which was walking distance to downtown. I highly recommend SkyView if you want the perfect wedding.

Sarah was just as amazing as Tess and really worked hard to make sure our reception ran smoothly. These two ladies truly were the best and I know my wedding day would not have been as perfect without all of their help and hard work! The venue itself has unbeatable views and our friends and family all had nothing but great things to say about their experience. I would highly recommend Sky View for anyone looking to get married in Estes Park!

Venue: You cannot go wrong with this venue for your wedding. Had the ceremony and cocktail hour upstairs which is partially covered (good for shade in our case). The view is just spectacular and the set-up for everything was hassle free. The indoor space downstairs was used for the reception.We had a 11 table solution(wedding party of roughly 100 people) which still allowed for a good dance floor. Weather was cooperating so we could open doors that allowed to expand the area to outdoor beautiful patio as well. The setup and arrangements were simple but beautiful for our wedding guests to enjoy. There is also a very nice addition of the Bridal Suite that is close to where the ceremony took part that had everything we needed to get ready. All in all very convenient and hassle free venue that gives a touch of class to the wedding. Staff: Tess was great to work with, laid back and very accommodating to our wishes. We did use a wedding coordinator also who worked closely with Tess and that went smoothly. We went for a non-traditional two isle solution which turned out great. Tess and staff are also great when it comes to working with other vendors. We did not have to do much other than share our visions and sit back and relax. We could not have asked for more for our wedding ceremony and reception and would recommend this space to anyone who is looking for beautiful views, hassle free arrangement and just want to relax and have fun!

Once we visited SkyView, we knew it was the place we wanted to get married. We loved the mountain views, open air, and rustic touches. We were able to choose our own vendors and customize the space. Many of our guests were visiting from out-of-state, and we loved that Fall River Village gave many of them an excuse to extend their stay in Estes. The venueâs proximity to downtown and Rocky Mountain National Park is unbeatable. At times, it was a bit difficult to get ahold of the venue, but in all of our interactions with the staff, they were accommodating and hospitable. Tess, the wedding coordinator, was great to work with. Her confidence and professionalism assured my husband and I that the day was under control. Tess was on-site from our morning rehearsal to the last song. She worked behind the scenes to ensure that our day flowed smoothly and was extremely detail oriented. My husband and I appreciated the small touches such as having appetizers left in the wedding suite when we went to sign our marriage license and desserts left in the honeymoon suite at the end of the night! SkyView is a beautiful venue, and our wedding there was lovely. It was so fun and convenient for our family and friends to be able to stay so close to the venue and made it so special for us. However, working with the staff at SkyView was difficult. What matters is that me, my husband, and our families had a wonderful, special day - but, we could have had that anywhere when it comes down to it. Tess and SkyView did nothing to contribute to that special day, and in fact jeopardized it. From our first tour with Tess at the venue she was difficult to work with, rude, and overall unpleasant - the only reason we decided to move forward with SkyView despite the bad first impression was because she made it sound like she would be very hands-off as far as planning and the day-of went. We were having a non-traditional wedding from front to back - no sit-down dinner, we had mixed seating options instead of a room full of tables, and more than anything we wanted to have a fun, carefree celebration so we had a larger than normal area for dancing (which we used every inch of!). It was clear at the walkthrough that Tess did not approve of this vision (later we found out that she said that was because she couldn't \"sell\" the venue with a non-traditional seating arrangement), and despite us having had hours of conversations with our wedding coordinator to make this vision a reality, Tess had very negative comments and was pushing back on a lot of our ideas with unnecessary, unwanted opinions on things that we had already decided. It was clear that her vision for weddings is a much more traditional approach - which is of course fine, but that was not our vision for our dream day. It was also clear at the walkthrough that Tess is not used to working with a wedding coordinator - the power struggle was evident from the beginning of the meeting, and Tess's poor attitude toward our coordinator really hindered us from being able to discuss the important aspects of the wedding that we were there to go over, especially the floor plan. Tess was instead focusing on things that we had already spent time with our wedding coordinator going over (including asking for our addresses. phone numbers, and other information they also already had on the contract), whether we having a bouquet toss, etc. Fast forward to the rehearsal at the venue the day before the wedding, and Tess didn't even bother to say hello to me, my husband, or our family. I had to approach her and the assistant, and when I did they were extremely rude and even had the audacity to mention that they tried to re-work the floor plan that I had made and asked whether I would be willing to change it... 24 hours before the wedding. After the wedding, they charged our card for damages that we weren't made aware of, without telling us about them - they even claimed that we ruined somewhere around 30 of their napkins, even though we didn't use any of their napkins for our event. Unfortunately, these are just a few examples of what we went through when working with Tess and SkyView - our wedding coordinator got the brunt of her bad attitude, but it certainly did not make the wedding planning process easy for us. Overall, I would not recommend having your wedding at SkyView until they get new staff that are willing to work with a bride and groom's vision with understanding, excitement and patience - a wedding is supposed to be a celebratory, happy day and Tess did absolutely nothing to help get us there.

I came across SkyView at Fall River Village because a friend suggested Estes Park as a wedding location. I started looking around online at venues in the area. As is true with a lot of mountain side towns, everything I found was like a wood-cabin. While I knew I wanted to get married in Colorado, I also knew that I had no interest having a wedding in a log cabin like venue. Then I stumbled across the rendering for SkyView. The venue was still under construction so all I had to look at were the rendering and inspiration photos online. I live in Texas so I couldn't even drive by to view the area! Everything I could see and read about the vision for this venue was exactly what I wanted. While still in a mountain town, there is nothing wood-cabin about this place. It's more contemporary and absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I trusted my gut and booked this venue sight unseen (and still under construction).I made a trip to Estes Park about 3 months after booking. I was able to meet the staff that would be working with us, as well as tour the venue with my hard hat to get an idea of the space. I knew then, even before the venue was complete, that we made the right decision. I worked with Tess from afar to create the perfect day. Tess was much more than just a coordinator. She helped with anything/everything, and even hand delivered curtains for the brand new townhouses that all of our family stayed in. On the day of, Tess made sure everything was set up the way we talked about, kept everyone on schedule, found solutions for our 35MPH wind gusts, etc! The majority of our friends and all of our family stayed on site at Fall River Village. The townhouses were the perfect setup for my large family, and the condos are great too!This venue has the best view, a fantastic floor plan, and an amazing staff! I would recommend it to any/all who are interested in getting married in Estes Park!!!

I came across SkyView at Fall River Village because a friend suggested Estes Park as a wedding location. I started looking around online at venues in the area. As is true with a lot of mountain side towns, everything I found was like a wood-cabin. While I knew I wanted to get married in Colorado, I also knew that I had no interest having a wedding in a log cabin like venue. Then I stumbled across the rendering for SkyView. The venue was still under construction so all I had to look at were the rendering and inspiration photos online. I live in Texas so I couldn't even drive by to view the area! Recently had my wedding here- we were the first wedding party to have to utilize the inside option for the venue due to pretty crappy weather issues the day of the wedding (primarily the wind was the problem!). They did their best to accommodate the last minute change (literally the hour before the ceremony!). I would say that there are some tweaks to be worked out as it was difficult to do pre-pictures where people were showing up to the venue (early) but overall it was awesome. Great functional space and Tess was excellent with assisting. Very responsive and direct which is always helpful.

When we finally had time to get to Estes Park, we wound up visiting four other popular wedding venues. After we left each location, we turned to each other and said âSkyView is still my favorite!â Needless to say, booking SkyView at FRV turned out to be one of the best decisions we could have made! FRV is absolutely gorgeous! The design elements matched our style perfectly! Iâve seen pictures of weddings that have decor for the venue, but we chose to let this wonderful venue and view speak for itself. The staff at FRV are so helpful and accommodating. The guest rooms and townhouses are perfect for traveling families. All in all, thereâs nothing I would have changed about my wedding day, and FRV was a large part of the successful day.

We were one of the couples who had to relocate our wedding from Mary's Lake Lodge (due to the fire), and we were so thankful to have found SkyView! They helped us replan our wedding in just 8 short weeks and gave us wonderful vendor recommendations for food/beverage as we frantically tried to find anyone who was still available on short notice.
