Farmstead Golf & Country Club is a scenic wedding venue located in Lafayette, NJ. For the past 56 years, this location has offered sports enthusiasts a thrilling course and provided couples with a beautiful environment to say “I do.” Thanks to their affordable rates and wide-open spaces, you and your partner will have the wedding of your dreams. The establishment consists of several spectacular indoor and outdoor spaces, including the gazebo, coach room, and carriage room. Upon your arrival at the Farmstead Golf & Country Club, you and the members of your wedding party will be welcomed and directed to a spacious dressing room. After you and your party have freshened up, you can exchange vows under a covered gazebo with your guests sitting at the peaceful lakeside. Your guests can also enjoy a luxurious cocktail hour in the coach room until you and your partner officially make your grand entrance into the Carriage room. The Carriage room is separate from the other venues and is available for any sized wedding reception. This space includes a large dance floor to have your first dance, listen to heartwarming speeches, and sing your heart out with your favorite DJ. The Farmstead Golf & Country provides couples with tasty cuisines, romantic views, and professional staff. Each staff member focuses on quality services and maintaining their one wedding per day system. This location offers an all-inclusive wedding day package, as well as separate customized services. These include food and catering services in a buffet, hors d’oeuvres, plated, or served by trained servers. They offer tastings of each meal and provide china, barware, glassware, linens, and a delicious chocolate fountain. The venue’s licensed bar comes with a skilled bartender for your champagne toast with signature cocktails, house beers, and more.

We utilized Farmstead for our rehearsal dinner and they did not disappoint! From the very beginning the communication was clear, professional and prompt and they helped us stay organization throughout the planning. The event itself turned out to be perfect. The staff was on point with the schedule and the room looked beautiful. Our guests were amazed at how nice of a venue it was. Very highly recommend having an event there if you're looking in the other.On an unrelated note it's also a fantastic golf course! We look forward to the weather getting warmer so we can come back and play it again.

Farmstead is the best venue! We were so excited when we found it, we knew immediately it was the perfect place for our wedding. Lindsey, Andrew, and Noel are amazing to work with and so incredibly organized. Not a single thing went wrong on the wedding day and we had no concerns at all that it would! They set everything up perfectly and it all looked beautiful. The process leading up to the wedding day was so seamless and efficient and the food was incredible. If you are looking to get married in New Jersey (especially if you are looking for some fall foliage colors) look no further.

Farmstead is the best venue! We were so excited when we found it, we knew immediately it was the perfect place for our wedding. We knew Farmstead was the venue for us as soon as we pulled in. The ceremony space is beautiful, the staff is amazing, the grounds are well kept, and the price is right! The venue allows a lot of flexibility with pricing, which we loved so we were able to make sure we were comfortable with the price. The staff goes above and beyond the day of your wedding to ensure it’s perfect. The food was amazing and we received multiple compliments that our wedding was one of the best they’ve ever been to. If your looking for a cozy rustic venue, this is truly a hidden gem.

We knew Farmstead was the venue for us as soon as we pulled in. The ceremony space is beautiful, the staff is amazing, the grounds are well kept, and the price is right! The venue allows a lot of flexibility with pricing, which we loved so we were able to make sure we were comfortable with the price. The staff goes above and beyond the day of your wedding to ensure it’s perfect. The food was amazing and we received multiple compliments that our wedding was one of the best they’ve ever been to. If your looking for a cozy rustic venue, this is truly a hidden gem.

We were so happy with our experience having our wedding at Farmstead. Leading up to the wedding Lindsey and Andrew were very helpful and willing to answer all of out questions. The day of the wedding Noel made sure everything ran smoothly. I had an idea of how I thought the venue would look on the day with my decorations but Noel and the rest of the team blew me away with how they were able to bring it all together. We received lots of compliments about how lovely the venue was and the delicious food. Another thing that we appreciated was how easy it was to drop off all the decorations the day before and the staff had everything packed up and ready to be taken home the next day.

Had the most amazing experience with Farmsteaf Golf and Country Club! We were married 11/26/22 and everything was absolutely perfect! The whole team at Farmstead was easy to work with and made sure everything ran smoothly. I want to give a special shout out to, Noel. I felt such comfort working with Noel and knew that she would ensure that all of my fears and anxieties were heard and taken care of. I expected to be a nervous wreck the day of but I was so calm and at peace knowing Noel was handling everything. We seriously can’t thank her enough!! The food was delicious and the grounds are truly beautiful, even in November with bare trees. We enjoyed that we were the only wedding that day and we had the place to ourselves. There is a bridal suite to get ready in and they provide breakfast and lunch for the bridal party which was a nice touch. Seriously a well kept hidden gem for those looking for a beautiful rustic venue!! 1000% recommend.

cant say enough good things about this venue, it truly is a hidden gem, especially for the price! Lindsey and Andrew were a pleasure to work with. The food was excellent, the ceremony space on the lake was beautiful, and the reception hall was amazing. They have a nice bridal suite which gives you and your bridesmaids a ton of room to get ready. (Breakfast, lunch, coffee and bottomless mimosas are included in the price which I loved!), and there are so many beautiful places to take pictures both outside and inside.They have different packages and a bunch of add-ons, and they really took care of our every need. I strongly recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a more rustic vibe and more scenic photo ops!

cant say enough good things about this venue, it truly is a hidden gem, especially for the price! Lindsey and Andrew were a pleasure to work with. The food was excellent, the ceremony space on the lake was beautiful, and the reception hall was amazing. Growing up in Sussex County, I knew the beauty of Farmstead and loved seeing it every time I would drive by. When my husband saw it for the first time, he fell in love with the view from the bay window behind the sweetheart table in the reception room. Lindsey was friendly and amazingly patient at answering any questions we had (I must have emailed her about 100 times over the course of our almost 2-year engagement) and she was always quick to reply. Lindsey, Andrew and Noel were all amazing the day of the wedding and I did not have to worry about a thing; I truly knew I was in good hands with them and their staff. The bridal suite may be a bit too small for those with large bridal parties, but for the 6 of us it was perfect. I cannot thank Lindsey, Andrew and Noel enough for such a flawless day!

Its a hidden gem for sure. The place is just beautiful with amazing staff. Everybody was so helpful and very professional. Lindsey and Andrew were always available throughout our wedding planning. We probably emailed Lindsey a hundred times and every time she would reply promptly. On the day of , Noelle made sure everything was on point from setting up the decorations to organizing the bridal entourage and guests during the ceremony. We couldn’t ask for more the whole set up was so beautiful. Definitely the best day ever! Thank you again for what you do Farmstead golf and country club.

Farmstead was the perfect venue to have our wedding at-everyone who attended our special day said it was \"the best wedding ever\" so there you go! From the first moment driving into the location, seeing the beautiful grounds and reception room, having that \"rustic-yet-classy-simple\" feel, and being very reasonably priced compared to other venues, my husband and I knew this was the spot. Andrew was so laid back and easy to work with and Lindsey was always able to answer any questions we had. Our tasting and food exceeded our expectations. Having the hotel nearby, the bridal suite on site, amazing grounds for photographs, golf carts to escort family and the wedding party around, and of course the beautiful ceremony site and reception room truly made the Farmstead a true blue wedding venue. It fit our needs and style to a tee - all of our guests had rave reviews. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place that isn't your usual typical 'wedding factory' venue.

Everything was perfect from the food to the staff to the views!! We had the best day! Everyone was so nice and helpful everything ran so smooth. The landscape was a perfect backdrop for our photos! The food was delicious and the banquet room is just so lovely highly recommend :)

Where do we even begin? Farmstead is a hidden gem and was an absolute dream to work with in preparation to our wedding day, and blew away all of our expectations day-of. My fiance and I both grew up in Sussex County, and knew we wanted to get married close to home. When we toured Farmstead, it felt so right for us and we cancelled our remaining venue tours. It was the perfect combination of rustic and classic that we were looking for, and my fiance loves to golf so that was a plus too. From the very beginning, we were met with kindness from Andrew, and worked with the amazing Lindsey all throughout the planning process. They were above and beyond and accommodating to our details and our vision, to help us create a day so us. Day of, we had Noelle as our maitre’d and she was awesome. They set up all of our decor so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We were served breakfast and mimosas getting ready in the bridal suite, and lunch after pictures before the ceremony. They were accommodating to our bridal party who had food allergies, and were so attentive to make sure we were all taken care of. Getting married in December, we chose to have our ceremony indoors in the Coach room and it was beautiful and cozy in front of the fireplace. We took all of our pictures outside before the ceremony and lucked out with a gorgeous fifty degree day in December, and the beautiful property offered great backgrounds. The staff quickly turned the coach room into our cocktail hour room while our guests were brought downstairs for champagne, and the cocktail hour food was incredible. So plentiful, so hot, and so delicious. The bacon wrapped scallops were amazing. We had two signature cocktails and they were so yummy, and fun to personalize. Our reception was even greater than cocktail hour, and the food was TO DIE FOR. The prime rib carving station we have had guests still call us weeks later saying how delicious it was, and the honey mustard glazed salmon was mouth-watering. You will not be disappointed, the food is awesome. The entire staff was friendly, attentive, and just down-right amazing. Bob drove us on the golf carts around for pictures, and is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. And his dog, Duke. I wish we could do the whole day over again so we could work with these people again. Anyone looking for a hidden gem, rustic, and beautiful wedding venue in Sussex County, look no further.

I've been putting off writing this review in hopes that the exact perfect words would pop into my head about how fantastic Farmstead was. That has yet to happen, and I'm not sure it ever will because when it comes to this venue and this team, words totally escape me. They left us speechless. From the very first moment we walked into Farmstead, it just felt right. Between the ease with which Andrew spoke about everything to the promising reviews regarding food and drinks, my (now) husband and I left a deposit on the spot. From that moment forward, they were prompt to respond to every email and phone call, answering every questions and solving every problem, putting all of our venue-related worries at ease. At the rehearsal, Noelle was a perfect guide through the ceremony process, and both Noelle and Andrew helped us unload our (many, many) decorations into the office. On the day of, Noelle made every effort to ensure that everything matched our vision perfectly and then some. I barely had to lift a finger. In fact, even being there I felt like I was doing a disservice to her magic-working since she was so efficient and wonderful! For a very controlling person like me, this was a very calming and helpful way to start the day and left me feeling very at ease. We got so many compliments on the way the space looked, and we were in total awe of seeing our vision come to life, and THEN some! We got SO many compliments on the food which was FANTASTIC. They even created a squash dish for me and our other veggie/vegan guests. They made sure we were informed and knew exactly what was going on every step of the way. They took care of all of the breakdown as well and put everything in one spot for us to pick up the next day. We loved Farmstead from our very first visit and knew it was the perfect place to have our wedding. Lindsey, Andrew, and Noelle were all SO helpful and responsive. They're so efficient and organized, it made planning so easy. From the initial meeting to the day-of details, they made everything run perfectly. The venue itself is gorgeous. The food was incredible (everyone loved it!) We couldn't be happier that Farmstead is where we got married. Everything was amazing!

We just had our wedding there this past weekend and it was amazing!! Everyone loved the venue and the food! Andrew and Lindsey made sure everything was perfect and ran smoothly. Not only them but every staff member that helped us that day was so happy and helpful. They were very accommodating! Also their prices were more than reasonable. I don't even know where to start with all of the amazing things I can say about Andrew, Noelle, Lindsey, Jim and the rest of the amazing staff and our experience here! We were married here October 7th. Being in the wedding industry myself I have been to just about every wedding venue in the tristate area and I am SO happy we chose Farmstead for our big day!We had our ceremony outside at the gazebo and it was absolutely perfect. The food is outstanding and the pride Jim, the chef, puts into his dishes is something more venues should be doing. You are not just another wedding here. Every detail is perfected and to your liking. Our guests raved about the food and we of course are as well! The service is unreal and Andrew, Noelle & Lindsey will do whatever it takes to ensure your day comes together as you envision. The support doesn't end on the day of the wedding, Noelle our maitre d went above and beyond on our wedding day until the moment we stepped onto our bus to head out afterwards! Pickup the day after was easy as they had everything ready to go including a pair of flip flops that had gotten left behind under a table at the wedding! The views and photo ops are endless and is a photographer's dream! We highly recommend Farmstead to every bride and know that every aspect of their day will be above and beyond due to the family atmosphere and truly caring staff here at Farmstead!

What can I say, we could not be more thrilled with our wedding at The Farmstead. This was the first of about three venues we visited during our search. Even though it was the middle of winter and it was covered in snow, we fell in love with it right away. The entire property was the perfect balance of rustic beauty. As a couple who enjoys the outdoors, my groom’s family actually owns a farm upstate, we wanted to make sure that our love of nature was reflected in the place we would get married. But we all know that a beautiful setting isn’t enough. What really put this place over the top was the staff. Banquet manager Lindsey made the process so easy for us. In every meeting and every email, she really listened to what we wanted. She was responsive to every email I sent no matter how trivial the request (and I know there were many). Going in to our wedding weekend, I was not as stressed as you would imagine a bride would be because I was confident that she had it all under control. On the weekend of the wedding we worked with Noelle as our wedding maître d. She, Andrew and the rest of the team were the utmost professionals. The entire wedding was absolutely seamless. As an event planner myself, I know all the things that can go wrong. But I have to say nothing did (and if it did, I had no idea. Sign of a good team!). The setting was beautiful, they set up all of our décor just how we wanted it and the food was delicious! I would highly recommend The Farmstead for anyone looking for a beautiful wedding in North Jersey.

We had our wedding at Farmstead in May 2017. What a beautiful place. To be honest, I was very hesitant about having my wedding on a golf course, but the ceremony area is so gorgeous with an amazing view of the lake and the grounds, I completely forgot about the course and just loved the envrionment. Andrew and Lindsay were so helpful and accomodating, the food was fantastic and the price was great. Plus, it was so helpful for our little ceremony of 50 that there was no minimum! Would recommend this lovely venue to anyone.

We had our wedding at Farmstead in May 2017. What a beautiful place. Just had our wedding here this past September, and omg was it gorgeous. I was nervous since I was planning it remotely from NH, but the team pulled it off no problem. I think the Farmstead would look wonderful any time of year, but the fall colors on the mountains and the surrounding woods were just perfect. The team was wonderful, and helped throughout the night, which was a blessing,, because we had no idea how a wedding usually runs. The food was excellent and our guests had nothing but good things to say about the decor. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a wedding, banquet or even just for lunch. Thanks to the team, you guys made the day stress free! I know my parents are looking forward to playing a round when the weather is nicer!

Lindsey, Andrew, the staff, the reception hall, the views, there's absolutely nothing that I would have done differently. So flexible, accommodating, beautiful, great price, great food! We have only heard great things from our guests, and were extremely pleased with everything, from beginning to end! After the wedding many guests came to us and said that was the best food they ever had at a wedding! So so happy to have chosen them!

I absolutely Love this place!!! we got married august 27 2016 . we had our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all at the farmstead and everything was perfect! we met with Andrew first he showed us the grounds and went over all the wedding things due to Lindsey having a baby. we set up our meal tasting which was also with Andrew and since the food was so amazing we put down our deposit right then and was able to meet the chef due to myself the bride having a major garlic allergy they were able to prepare all our food without it.. we met Lindsey to discussed our details who is just so fabulous i cannot say enough about her. she was so helpful as a bride i feel like you don't really know much well Lindsey answered all my questions so quick and i probably annoyed her but she was still so fabulous and always so caring. all the staff and employees were very nice and efficient during our big day.The food is sooooooo delicious!!!! i have guests telling us how great the wedding food was and even some people told us it was the best they have ever had whose been to multiple weddings. the ceremony space outside is just stunning i am so happy we chose the farmstead. the cocktail room is simply perfect. Lindsey was great with letting me even drop off things before hand due to me living so far away. i even ended up leaving some things there after our wedding day and Lindsey is keeping them for me until i return from my honeymoon. they are so caring! i loved that its family owned! you can definitely tell. i would highly recommend this venue!

We had our wedding at Farmstead on Saturday 7/9 and it was just absolutely amazing! I don't even know where to start, the food was amazing, the ceremony site and reception locations were perfect, and our guests just kept saying how beautiful of a venue it was! Lindsey was my wedding coordinator and the Matre'D for the day of. She was absolutely the best to work with! So friendly, responsive, and accommodating! Every little detail was cared for, and everything the day of was exactly how we had discussed via our many emails. I loved that we were able to spend the entire day there, breakfast and lunch was provided, and it felt like the place was ours the whole day while we were getting ready. Just two quick examples of how amazing Lindsey and Andrew were...during the day Andrew let me know that the tulle drapes/string lights I bought to have around the dance floor weren't long enough, so he offered to hang other string lights in between to make up the difference. The second example was that during the reception my dress had gotten stepped on and my bustle was ripped out, Lindsey insisted on fixing my bustle so I could enjoy the rest of the night, and pinned up my dress for me. These were just two little examples of how wonderful Lindsey and Andrew were, and how extremely happy we were to have our wedding at Farmstead! It was absolutely the best decision and made our wedding day everything we dreamed of. Thank you so much Lindsey and Andrew! I highly recommend having your wedding or other event at Farmstead, you will not be disappointed!!

The grounds are gorgeous (photo op heaven) and the event coordinators Lindsey and Andrew - along with the entire staff - were a true pleasure to work with. Both Lindsey and Andrew were always responsive to emails and phone calls and went above and beyond to work with the chef to create a menu that was safe for my husband's severe dairy allergy. The day of the wedding both were on hand to coordinate everything and thanks to them the day flowed completely smoothly leaving me worry free to enjoy our wedding which was perfect. First off my now husband and I went to dozens of venues and thought they were nice but were not convinced. When we drove into the parking lot we already knew this was the place we would get married. \r\rLindsey and Andrew were the most accommodating ever and absolutely so sweet. I would recommend this venue to anyone!! Everything went perfectly and the food was amazing!!!!!! I can't think of one thing that I would change! \r\r

From the first communication with Lyndsey and her team at Farmstead, I knew we were in good hands. When we visited the site, we knew we would pick this venue. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We also had our wedding on site. We were married outside on the grounds in front of the gazebo. The staff was great and made the day run smoothly. We had our wedding on a Sunday which worked out best for my friends and family who had to travel. We had the brunch option which turned out beautifully; everyone raved about the food! I can't thank Lyndsey and her team for making our day run smoothly. I would definitely recommend others to host an event there.

I cannot even begin to explain how amazingly perfect The Farmstead was for our wedding. \rLindsey is so great to work with. Every question that I had she answered so quickly and always was flexible and accommodating! You will love working with her, I promise! \rThe food is soooooo good. Everyone keeps complimenting us on it. You can't go wrong with any of the menu choices. \rThe venue itself is so beautiful. It has such a cozy, rustic feel, while still being a spacious and roomy. I loved the detail of the place like the beams and the fireplace, and the view from the ballroom. It's just gorgeous.\rThe actual day of the wedding went so smoothly thanks to Lindsey, Andrew, and everyone at the Farmstead. There was a freak snowstorm the day of our rehearsal and we weren't able to get up there to practice the ceremony, but Lindsey made sure everything went perfect. She and Andrew even came up early early that morning the day of the rehearsal so we could drop off things before the storm got bad. The snow ended up making the place look even more magical the day of the wedding. Me and my bridesmaids were able to get ready downstairs and had a great breakfast and time to relax that day. The place was perfect for pictures too. \rEverything went so smoothly and I got to just relax and enjoy the whole day from start to finish without any worrying. \rThe Farmstead is an amazing family owned business. They only do one wedding a day, and they give such special attention to each event. Definitely have your wedding there...you won't regret it!!\r

The Farmstead was our first visit on our round of wedding venue trips. We met with Lindsey Phoebus who is the wedding coordinator. We were impressed right off the bat that she knew who we were and saw us right away even as she was in the middle of setting up for a wedding! She gave us a tour of the venue and then sat down and answered all of our questions. We were looking for a budget friendly place and a fall wedding date. Lindsey shared with us that simply changing our date would save us thousands of dollars. It prepared us for our other venues. Lindsey gave us the Friday Night/Sunday Afternoon package for a weekend in November, saving us a lot of money. We were able to customize our package to fit our budget and our preferences.\rWe visited several other venues, but the Farmstead really stood out as being the best. Not only did it give us the best price with what we wanted, but it also had a great location for pictures, which meant we wouldn't have to travel anywhere else.\rAs part of your package you get to do a food tasting in order to test out the food you may want on your day. We were able to bring both of our families there and try out all the food on the menu. The food was delicious! Oftentimes you go to a banquet hall and the food tastes manufactured. This food was fresh and tasty.\rAll throughout the time Lindsey was prompt with emailing me with all of my questions that I had leading up to the big day. She allowed me to come in and look at table linens and the room several times, whenever I had a question. My parents both do not have houses large enough for me to get ready in, so Lindsey even let us prepare for the day in the Bridal Suite, which is large enough for your bridal party!\rThe day of the wedding, Lindsey was very present, helping all of our vendors get prepared and providing us with water and whatever else we needed in the Bridal Suite. The whole reception ran smoothly and we got so many compliments on our food! We had a lot to take home at the end of the night, and she allowed us to leave some things there and get them the next day. The Farmstead is a great choice for your wedding. Go visit it today!

We had our wedding at the Farmstead on October 20th. Everything was perfect! Lindsey was the event director and she did a wonderful job. The food was great and everything looked beautiful. It was the perfect setting for our fall wedding

were there every step of the way!! The week before my wedding was hurricane irene and the farmstead was without power for almost 5 days! They went out of there way to insure that if they did not get power back in time that my wedding would still be just as amazing! Luckly they did get power back and everything was stunning! Could not have asked for more!!! The place is stunning and the grounds are breathtaking

We had our reception here, and it was absolutely perfect! The banquet manager is fantastic, and took the time to make sure we were comfortable. Food was incredible, and people danced the night away! The site itself is gorgeous, and has great indoor and outdoor photo opportunities.
