I have been coming to Feast & Fareway for some years now, but have never had the opportunity to attend a wedding here. I was delighted that my coworker got married at Feast and I was delighted to stand in their wedding. It was such a perfect day for one of my lifelong friends and our coworkers. We raved about it the entire week after and had so many great things to say about it. There is no place else that I could imagine such a fantastic day. I was best man at a wedding here this summer and I just have nothing but absolutely AMAZING things to say about Feast & Fareway. From the start, my friend (the groom), was concerned about having the wedding on Coronado, because there is a stigma that everything is overpriced there. He wanted it nonetheless, and reached out. He got in contact with Katie, who was a treat from the start. They were surprised to see that the prices were not insane like other areas you may find on Coronado Island. The other thing we were concerned about was the traffic on the bridge that it possible, and each time that we went to the venue, we found no traffic of any sort. After they had their first in-person meeting with Katie (Sales Manager) and Lauren (Venue Coordinator), they booked right away and knew it was the place without a doubt in their mind. On the day of, we were pleased with the large parking lot that fit all of us and more. As we entered, we were greeted by the hostess, who directed us to the Bridal Ready Suite where we dropped our things and prepared for the ladies to get ready. Us gentlemen went right to the bar. We were hours early for the wedding, so we hit the regular service bar and were greeted with smiles and friendly employees even though they did not know that it was the groomsmen for the wedding. We got a table and were greeted quickly and when they heard that it was the groom's big day here at the property, the manager came over to chat with us and offered the groom a drink right away. We got some snacks and drinks but had a lot of time to kill while Kathleen and the bridesmaids got ready. The manager said that we were able to go hit some balls on the driving range or to go putt in the putting area. We said that we didn't have any clubs and he loaned a few to us so we could go enjoy ourselves for a while while we waited to get dressed. We ran into not a single issue the entire evening. I was very nervous for my speech before the ceremony, and the staff were joking with me, saying that there was nothing to be nervous for, made jokes about imagining the guests all in their underwear, and that he is going to feel so much better once I took a deep breath. The ceremony was flawless, dinner service went over without a ditch. We had a buffet-style dinner service. Many wedding I have been to with this style of dinner tend to take a long time to get everyone fed, and we often find ourselves waiting forever to eat, but they had set up 2 different buffets in the room so that things went twice as fast for us all. I don't recall any other venue having that foresight to split it up to move things along. The dancing was also amazing here, with a large space for all the fun. We had 3 bartenders behind the bar, and they all knew me as the best man and treated me as such. Even later in the evening when the bar was being hit like crazy, they seemed to always have my drink ready and waiting for me when I got up to them. Even though it was a large wedding with a lot of guests, it really did have the small-wedding feel with how kind and memorable the staff was.Amazing night! I will certainly be back to Feast & Fareway sometime soon to visit the staff and Reviewed on 19-12-2023

It’s located right on the bay, which is where they had their ceremony (by the water). They shuttled us from the building to the water in carts, which was a very nice touch. Come Sunday, we came back for brunch and many of the servers were the same staff that worked the wedding and they remembered us and stuck up fun conversations. We received so many compliments from our guests who enjoyed the fun, food, service and spectacular atmosphere of the venue. To begin, the Feast and Fareway is modern and beautiful, with unimpeded views overlooking the bay, skyline, bridge and golf course. The venue offers indoor and outdoor dining and dancing, with bars that can accommodate large groups. Throughout the planning process we received tremendous service and support from our Event Coordinator, Grace, and the entire team at the Feast and Fareway. They provided many flexible options for us to choose from and responded quickly to all our requests, questions and concerns. The event was executed flawlessly, and all of the staff provided friendly and professional service to all of our guests. Elyse Vogel(other)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-09-2021 We hosted a wedding at this Venue September 2021 and were promised many things. Buyer beware… Our couple was beautiful and the family and friends made it a special day regardless however before you book this wedding make sure anything they say they will take care of have it in writing. Our wedding was pushed back, should have started at 5:30 pm however another wedding did not end until 5:15 pm. So we did not even start until 6:00pmNo set up time was provided. The contract states you get 2 hours for set up, we did not and the owners could care less. Our guests were rushed in and the seating was not ample.Food - unorganized and they ran out.Everything was disorganized. Those that were to get a vegetarian meal their meals came out at the end as everyone was done eating and on top of that their meals were awful. We asked for a copy of the bar tab for months. We feel we were overcharged. They say your wine, beer and signature cocktail are included during the cocktail hour however we believe we were charged and without being able to see the bar tab broken down by hour we will never know for sure.Although we had an open bar some of our guests were actually charged for their drinks and the bartenders were so rude.Restrooms are filthy, so keep that in mind. We read another review about the restrooms being dirty so we made a point to ask if they would be cleaned. They tell you not to worry someone will make sure they are kept clean, untrue. We tried to get resolution for months and after much back and forth the owners did provide us back some compensation however after much angst and in the end, it does not make up for what should have been a wonderful event. We just want to make sure others do not have the same experience and really understand what they say they will do they don’t. Again, get everything in writing even last minute changes they promise to take care of.Example: If they tell you your cocktail hour is on the large patio to the left, get it in writing. Our guests were asked to wait in a small area as they raced to set the tables up.The floor plan and tables not as promised and our bride put so much time into the seating chart. All of the preparation and details our bride took were basically pushed aside.Oh and that day of wedding coordinator they promise, our wedding coordinator never showed up. No apology from the owners, nothing. In summary, if you want people who care about your special day this is NOT the venue for you. Reviewed on 22-12-2021

Maria Gagnon(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 16-07-2021 This venue is gorgeous. The views are breathtaking, the wait staff was quick and fantastic and the grounds are spacious. With that being said, the event staff left much to be desired and if this venue doesn’t step up their caliber of event service they will run the risk of no longer being chosen to host weddings. We had a minor glitch in communication in the beginning of planning, but that was mended and we were feeling really good about our planner. Robyn gave us a fantastic tour and promised us many things. Unfortunately many of those promises weren’t delivered and we showed up on the wedding day and Robyn was no where to be found. We were told the cocktail hour was held on the north patio, but that was left open to patrons and our cocktail hour was crammed into a strip on patio between the ceremony area and the blocked off north patio. This was disappointing and not the space we paid for. I’m not sure why we weren’t put in our original cocktail hour space, it seemed last minute as the seating chart was still placed for guests coming back to the south patio via the north patio. I asked Liz to move it during cocktail so guests would be able to see it. Liz stepped in for Robyn and was nice, but she seemed in over her head and did nothing to solve problems. Additionally, multiple items cleared with Robyn were not passed along to Liz(signature drinks, decorations, private time as a couple) We were unable to put up our signature cocktails, previously cleared with Robyn because 3 hours before the wedding Liz informed me they didn’t have one of the ingredients (mint). 5 minutes before the ceremony Liz didn’t know we had a unity ceremony in our ceremony even though it was listed on all our correspondence. She then stood there while I quickly came up with glasses that the venue had. Liz never came back before the ceremony to go over the items I had brought in and she was almost appalled that she had to place them on the table. The bathrooms remained dirty and unserviced throughout the wedding, even after staff was informed they were out of toilet paper from the crowds of golfers that had been using them earlier. The floor remained dirty and unkept. In the future it might be nice if they were cleaned in the evening after the large amount of day time foot traffics. This was unfortunate. It should be noted that my photographer arrived and the first thing they told her was that we were not allowed on any portions of the course for photography. Be clear with the planners where you will be able to take photos, we were lucky to have a fabulous photographer who made it all work! My photographer later coordinated to get us some shots near the bay in the evening. The venue is beautiful, but the event coordinators seemed to lack the experience and professionalism to make this a successful venue. If it were not for my amazing DJ and photographer stepping up I can’t imagine how the day might have gone. I am a laid back person and none of this was worth getting angry about, but I felt like I needed to review this business honestly so that future brides are prepared. The food was delicious, the cake perfect and the waitstaff was phenomenal. This is a BEAUTIFUL venue and we had the most magical day, but you will need to hire another coordinator and be prepared for some disorganization and miscommunication. Reviewed on 27-07-2021
