The easiest part of my wedding planning was working with Jessica and Lori at Mill Creek Park's Fellows Riverside Gardens. As a Youngstown Native, this location is a gorgeous staple to the community. The Daniel L. Rossi Auditorium was the perfect space to host our friends and family with dinner, drinks and dancing with outdoor access and patio scenes for photos and congregating. Our May wedding date was perfect. I will note that on the day of our wedding, there were 6 proms. This is a HUGE photo spot for local high school students. Jessica and Lori reserved the parking lot for all of our wedding guests and made sure that my hall and decorations were just as I wanted them to be to ensure my day was beautiful. We were allowed to have candles inside the venue as long as they were in glass jars/enclosed in some sort of display coverings - they do have a no open flame policy due to the gardens and their proximity. The hall allowed us to use their standing cocktail tables with coverings at no additional charge and displays for posting seating charts and wedding signage. I also want to compliment Jessica and Lori for sharing their ideas as to what they have seen past brides do that \"do\" and \"don't\" work out. Their suggestions were very useful and helped us with our custom layout for our wedding reception. The price was extremely reasonable and everything was clean! Reviewed on 16-01-2024

This venue is so amazing and beautiful no matter what time of year it is. We had our reception in the Daniel L. Rossi auditorium, and it was the perfect amount of space for 100 guests. We went in with less than four months to plan everything, but the employees were very accommodating. We did most of the planning with Jessica, who was very nice and a joy to work with. I would work with her again in heartbeat if I ever needed to host another event there. Everything was made easy, from the first tour, to booking the venue, and to the very end of the event. Everyone was super helpful, and answered any questions or concerns in a timely manner. We couldn't have asked for a better location to hold our reception. If you're searching for a beautiful location with on-site catering and friendly staff, I would 100% go with them. They made the wedding planning process pain-free, and I can't recommend them enough. The folks at Fellows made it so easy to plan a wedding. They walked me through everything I needed to know and connected me with the right vendors when I needed help. I can’t say enough about how easy they were to work with, which makes the hectic wedding planning time actually enjoyable. The venue is always gorgeous and the people you work with here are professionals. I’ll be forever indebted to them for making my day perfect. Reviewed on 19-11-2023

The venue is beautiful and was the perfect size for our wedding. Communication was good and the day went perfectly despite being crowded with high schoolers taking their homecoming pictures. Keep that in mind for late September weddings. They also don’t schedule time slots for rehearsals and that was the only negative since there were multiple groups there at the same time trying to go through their rehearsal. Reviewed on 14-10-2023

My husband and I chose the Kidston Pavilion at Fellows Riverside Gardens to have our wedding because of it’s enchanting and romantic atmosphere. There are SO many possibilities for wonderful wedding photos as well as for guests and family members to enjoy the grounds as well. It works so well to have your wedding outside at one of the pavilions and then the reception inside at the lovely Rossi Auditorium. Lori and Jessica made both the wedding and reception planning a breeze. They were so accommodating and always available during the planning process. We were so pleased with their services and can’t thank them enough for all they did to make our wedding such a success!! Reviewed on 02-07-2023

Fellows Riverside Gardens is a beautiful setting for a wedding. My daughter was married in the \"White Garden\" and had her reception in the Rossi Auditorium. It was wonderful! The staff was awesome and were available from the time we started asking questions abiut booking until the wedding was over. I can't say enough good things about this venue. Many guests were in awe and commented on the beauty of Fellows Riverside Gardens. Reviewed on 19-06-2023

My husband and I had our ceremony at Kidston Pavilion and our reception in the Davis Center. It was simply beautiful. Jessica and her staff are lovely to work with and helped answer any questions I had along the way. You can't beat the stunning views of the park. We kept the museum open for our guests to explore and the observation tower. We were able to get in the day before to start decorating which was fantastic. We rented the classroom inside the Davis Center to have makeup & getting dressed. It was a beautiful day and I highly recommend booking your wedding here. It is a gem within our city! jonnie wright(parent)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-06-2019 The information for this location is wrong. The lower level of the Davis center can hold up to 220 guests if you add the radius room to your rental. also, the classrooms on either floor can also be rented for dressing. there is an elevator to the lower level so its also handicap accessible. It is important for brides to know this is a very popular venue so for popular dates/seasons you need to book 2 yrs prior to date. Reviewed on 08-02-2019
Tina J(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-11-2018 We had our wedding reception at the Davis Center. It is such a beautiful building that overlooks the lake. The grounds are stunning also. Guests from out of town and guests from our area that hadn't been there couldn't believe what a gem it is. Patty with Kravitz Catering is such a professional. She made the whole evening go so smoothly and answered all my questions leading up to the big day. The food was awesome. I would highly recommend this venue. Reviewed on 28-11-2018

Jessica Murphy(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-04-2018 The facility itself is beautiful. However, it is awful they force you to use their caterer if you want to have your wedding here. This did not always be the case for over 20 years, but changed within the last year. Their caterer is Inspired Catering by Kravitz. The same Kravitz that specializes in bagels and sandwiches. No thanks. This resulted in me having my wedding elsewhere because I was going to have the catering company that fit the vision for my wedding. Reviewed on 04-02-2017
Megan Kalosky(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-06-2015 We rented the Cohasset Express Trolley from these guys and it was my FAVORITE part of the wedding! The Trolley was so much fun. We got to take the scenic route to the park to take pictures and it was a beautiful day. The driver was so polite and was great with our ring bearer and flower girl! Highly recommended!!! Heather (bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 31-08-2013 Beautiful location for both the outdoor ceremony and reception hall. I changed my time and location preference several times and the staff was so accommodating. The only snafu was that on the day of the wedding, my ceremony and several others were not announced on their event board. They were quick to fix this error however. Overall my experience was quite positive and it fit nicely into my modest budget. Reviewed on 17-09-2013

The only concern I had was the weather and we were lucky because it was beautiful! \r\rOur Reception Hall was also Gorgeous! There was an outside patio overlooking a gorgeous lake which our guests really enjoyed! Arlene helped answer a lot of our questions and was very helpful! At this venue you have to take care of a lot of the details(decorating, set up, take down) on your own which caused some stress, however, we ended up hiring a decorator in the area and the results were perfect!!!!!\r\rThe venue is just beautiful!!! We had around 150 and it was perfect. Guests can enjoy walking around the Rose gardens and enjoy the patio. The buiding is new and modern. They are great to work with and accomodating. Molly Hartsough(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 07-05-2011 As far as outside ceremony locations in the Mahoning Valley go, I really don't think you can beat the Fellows Riverside Gardens. It doesn't matter what time of year you visit, the landscaping is always gorgeous, and it's truly amazing how the Gardens change from week to week. We had to fill out an application for a permit and pay $125 for use of the Kidston Pavilion for a 2 hour block, and they asked for a copy of our wedding license once we got it, which was easy enough to bring in to let the ladies at the desk copy during the time the Davis Center is open during the day. They also have a large hall for rent which we were very interested in using, but it books up FAST and our date was taken. The Gardens just had some major renovations done last fall, which included a new walkway and fountain, which made for beautiful photographs. The area is also large enough that even though we were one of three wedding parties there, our pictures did not interfere with any of the other groups. There is great drainage in the rose garden, so even though it POURED the night before our wedding, my gown did not get terribly dirty/muddy at all, although my heels did sink in the ground a bit. They do not have facilities for the wedding party to get ready in, so you have to get ready somewhere else then drive, but there is ample parking, and even special spots for limos/buses. \rI would not hesitate to recommend the Fellows Gardens at all for an outdoor ceremony. I spent alot of time in Mill Creek Park growing up, so the Rose Garden felt great right from the get-go. The location is absolutely beautiful, and even though our wedding date was in early April, the grounds were well groomed and lots of flowers were blooming. The staff there are also very helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend this location for both ceremonies and receptions. Reviewed on 05-09-2010
