FIVE Event Center is a reception venue in Minneapolis, MN, that would be ideal for hosting once-in-a-lifetime celebrations. Originally constructed in the 17th century, there are architectural throwbacks to this period throughout. Beautiful brickwork, contemporary light fixtures, and wooden flooring help to create a homely, yet graceful, ambience that is sure to wow many happy couples. Brimming with historic charm and up-to-date amenities, FIVE Event Center successfully combines two contrasting styles in harmony. Ceremonies can easily take place on FIVE Event Centerās second floor. āI-doā occasions that take place here can accommodate up to 200 guests. Chairs can be arranged so that everyone has a good vantage point for the all-important exchange of vows. After applause has rung out, everyone can make their way to enjoy the cocktail hour. The lower-level bar and an outdoor patio beckon guests to enjoy the occasion as staff rearranges the second-floor space for the reception. When the time comes for the main meal, invitees can take their seats as culinary delights are served up by outside caterers. As many as 200 guests are welcome to enjoy a seated meal here. Whatās more, a dance floor is sure to be appreciated by everyone who wants to bust out their signature moves. A venue manager is happy to help in the lead-up to and on the day itself. In addition, the staff at FIVE Event Center can happily supply couples with a list of trusted vendors to help with the big-day planning.

Our wedding at FIVE was absolutely incredible! We toured FIVE while looking for a wedding venue, and it was love at first sight. We loved the exposed brick and hardwood floors on the upper floor. The venue also has a lower level which was completely renovated in March 2022, which is perfect for a cocktail hour while the room is flipped upstairs after the ceremony. The brand new bridal and groom suites are great, and there is a nice outdoor space to hang out in as well.Olivia was our event coordinator throughout our wedding planning process and she was great! She answered any questions we had promptly and thoroughly. She made sure all of the details were addressed at our final walkthrough meeting. She was on-site for the wedding day itself, and went above and beyond with her service by providing assistance with ceremony rehearsal and signaling our wedding party during the ceremony processional. FIVE has several preferred vendors/caterers who are very familiar with the space, making for a smooth and stress-free wedding experience. I highly recommend considering FIVE Event Center for your wedding ceremony and reception, I'm confident you'll love it as much as we did!

Beautiful venue! Working with Victoria was great. I definitely recommend for fall and winter weddings. The inside is perfect for a more intimate wedding. Great for inside pictures and some outside as well. Little decor needing since it's raw brick . So happy we choose this place to say I Do!

Working with FIVE Event Center to celebrate our wedding was absolutely amazing from start to finish!! Their staff was awesome. They were timely, communicative, and worked incredibly hard to help our day go seamlessly. FIVE also has some great partners and preferred vendors that were great to work with.Not to mention, the venue itself is beautiful! It was the perfect size for our guest count (~115) and was great for doing both ceremony and reception in one place!

Our wedding at FIVE was everything we imagined and more! The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and my favorite part was it really speaks for itself, doesnāt need much added! It was important to us to have our wedding in the city. I still canāt believe how affordable FIVE is compared to other venue. Our guests and family loved it! We had 155 people and it was spacious for everyone. We truly could not have had such of a great wedding without Victoria, the venue coordinator. She was responsive and quick to answer all my questions! She went above beyond in every single aspect of the day. Anyone would be so lucky to have her there for their special day!

We had such an amazing experience with FIVE Event Center for our wedding. We loved our experience at The Five! This venue had everything we needed, room for getting ready, downtown feeling, a nice inviting space for our guests, and it was affordable! I highly recommend this venue. It is beautiful and does not need much decor. It was in the perfect location, especially for a couple from Minneapolis. Our questions were always answered throughout our planning and communicated well. I have no complaints and had an amazing experience with FIVE!

Victoria was very helpful in asking how we wanted the space set up, walking us through what the day would look like, and helping us have a very smooth wedding experience! Victoria was professional, had clear and timely communication, and was very helpful in making sure things were set up correctly. She even took some photos and videos of our day and sent them to us!I would highly recommend this space for your wedding and/or reception! The brick walls and wood floors are beautiful and the downstairs bar area is perfect for cocktail hour (and chic looking wedding photos). We had a lot of guests compliment the beauty of the space. 10/10 would recommend FIVE Event Center and their team!

We enjoyed having two levels for our event - the main floor for happy hour & appetizers and the upstairs for the dinner and entertainment. Victoria was lovely to work with and helped us make the event run smoothly. We chose to work with Kafe 421 and their food was delicious. They were affordable & fit many dietary needs - enjoyed by all! Would absolutely recommend any event here!

Fantastic choice. The staff (Olivia in particular) are incredibly helpful and go above and beyond. Facility is well maintained and really cool looking. Itās a great space, competitive on itās pricing and we had 0 issues. The only concerns were parking (which didnāt end up being that big of a deal, plenty of it near by) and the AV system is somewhat old. But, we had zero audio issues. Very very happy with this choice for our wedding.

We had our wedding reception here on August 13, 2022. It was a great experience. Our event coordinator - Olivia and the staff are so helpful and amazing, even our guests feel the same way. The decoration and atmosphere here are very luxurious and cozy. They have remodeled private hospitality suites and downstairs space. You can easily use every corner of the venue to have beautiful photos for your event. Since we only hold our wedding reception here, it's sad that we can not make full use of their space of the venue. They also have wifi at FIVE, but we do not think it not strong enough to stream your event. With our limited wedding budget, their price is reasonable. So far, we don't have any complaints or disappointments about the FIVE Event Center. We will think about them first if we have any other event. We highly recommend this awesome venue.

The recent remodel made the downstairs even better with great lounging areas and getting ready rooms. It's in a fun area of Minneapolis, which was awesome for our out of town guests. The best part of our experience was all the help Olivia, the venue manager, gave us. She was always positive and helpful and answered so many questions. She stayed late before our wedding to show the space to our parents and helped us with so many logistics! We would absolutely recommend this venue.

We loved being in the bustling Uptown area and being within walking distance of our hotel accommodation. FiveEvent and Olivia were amazing! They were super accommodating with our date change due to COVID. Olivia was super responsive to all of our emails and questions. She assisted us with a bunch of the nitty gritty day of details that we didn't plan out or think through. Day of she helped out to make sure cocktail hour, speeches and dinner went off without a hitch. FiveEvent itself is a beautiful location and has all the pieces for a happening reception and ceremony!

She assisted us with a bunch of the nitty gritty day of details that we didn't plan out or think through. Day of she helped out to make sure cocktail hour, speeches and dinner went off without a hitch. FiveEvent itself is a beautiful location and has all the pieces for a happening reception and ceremony!

Leading up to the day, the team at FIVE was very helpful and responsive to my wife and I's (numerous) questions, especially as they navigated the ever-changing COVID restrictions. If we had a question, concern, or new request, we knew we could reach out and get an answer within a few hours! As for the ceremony and reception, we have nothing but glowing praise for FIVE. It's an intimate, elegant, and charming venue. Our wedding was under 100 people total, which was perfect for the space. The upstairs-downstairs split provided seamless transitions between each event, while allowing your guests to mingle unbothered. Our event manager was there for every part of the ceremony and very helpful in leading us through a hectic day. If you're looking for an intimate venue in the city, FIVE is a great option.

Let me start off by saying that FIVE Event Center is the only venue that my now husband and I needed to visit during our search for a venue. Once we saw FIVE in person, we knew that it was where we wanted to host our wedding! FIVE's website is very user friendly and answered nearly every question one may have while searching for a venue; seriously the tour we took was just a formality to solidify our decision to book. Every staff member I encountered (in person, over the phone, and via email) during our 13 month planning process was so kind and helpful. On our wedding day, the day of coordinator was on top of every detail and calm under pressure, which was so appreciated as a stressed out bride. The venue itself is beautiful, even with very minimal decor. The staircase (such a great blank canvas for personalization) and exposed brick were huge selling factors for us. FIVE also has a great list of preferred vendors that they work with (many that we chose from), which was very helpful to have during the planning process. Being able to host our ceremony and reception in one spot was fantastic and the full buyout of the space, plus getting married on a Sunday was extremely cost effective! The history of the space and the location were huge selling factors for my husband and I. Overall, FIVE exceeded our expectations and was one of the easiest decisions we made for our wedding! Choosing FIVE for our wedding day 100% set the tone for the intimate celebration that we wanted to have after our very long engagement and I would recommend FIVE over and over again!

We held our ceremony and reception on a Sunday morning and we loved the gorgeous lighting in their event space. We brought in floral, but did not need much because the event space is already beautiful. We feel so lucky to have worked with Taylor, the most organized, professional, and calming event coordinator. As an anxious bride, I felt completely calm leading up to the wedding and the day of because I knew Taylor had everything in control. I would highly recommend celebrating your special day at FIVE Event Center! Great location, accommodations, and staff. 11/10 rating in our books!

Five event center was the best place to hold not only our ceremony but also our reception. They were able to accommodate our 150 guest count no problem. We heard many compliments about the friendliness of the bar tenders and their attention to detail. I will also say they were great at helping set up and take down our tables, chairs, and clean up. When we started planning our wedding we were paired with Shauna and she was amazing to work with. She was prompt at answering all our emails and phone calls and made sure to help us in anyway. Unfortunately half way through she had left and we were introduced to Sarah. We did not feel as comfortable with the new coordinator as she was not the greatest at returning any of our phone calls, told us we could have the venue for rehearsal for a longer period than we actually were able to, also told us we could bring food for the rehearsal then we couldn't and the week of our wedding gave us a scare in telling us all of Bryant street was going to be shut down. It would have been a lot easier if she would have just let us know she did not know the answer to our questions and get back to us as soon as she did. Minus the lack of customer service we received with that I would do it all over again there as it made my wedding visions come true!

We felt that the venue was a great price for what you get, especially when compared to other venues with similar aesthetics around the Twin Cities. She made us feel so calm and secure that our day would go just as we had hoped for. Cannot recommend FIVE enough!We had 175 guests, 20 guest tables, a pizza buffet, a photo booth, a dessert table and a popcorn bar table. FIVE did a fantastic job helping us coordinate all of our special requests (we had a mobile wood fire pizza oven for dinner and individualized MN craft beer flights).

We did very little decorating because the space is already so beautiful. We had approximately 170 guests, and Five could accommodate that guest count easily. The coordinator was lacking with help the day of. Bar glasses piled up on tables, because the staff infrequently came to pick them up. And the bathrooms quickly became a mess. The FIVE Event Center was absolutely PERFECT for my wedding! We had about 100 guests and the space felt perfect for the size. Shauna was so easy to work with and very responsive when we had any questions throughout the planning process and on the day-of. She is a rockstar. Everything looked better than I could have imagined and all the guests loved the downstairs cocktail area and beautiful dinner/dancing space up the stairs. We received endless compliments on how pretty the entire venue was! Cannot recommend this venue enough.We did have a couple little hiccups on the day of, we worked with Shauna to estimate the amount of alcohol we would need and it came up very short (like run out at 8pm short) BUT they had extra wine and an extra keg that we were able to use that got us through the rest of the night. So while we came up short on what wine and beer we purchased in advance, they had enough that we able to keep the night flowing smoothly! Because of how quickly they were able to help us remedy the issue, I don't want to take any stars away from my rating. However, I would recommend doing more research on alcohol amount needed for your group if you use the venue.There was also construction around the venue (no fault to the FIVE) but it did make it difficult for guests to get through to the parking lot. - a downside of being in the city I guess!

We had our Ceremony & Reception at FIVE and everything (from planning to the event itself) went along smoothly. The catering manager and event manager were great to work with and answered all of our questions throughout the process. We had many compliments on how beautiful the space was (high ceiling and exposed brick is lovely) and we didn't need to do much to decorate (few signs, flower centerpieces and greens along railings/windowsills). The guests loved the food - we went with Sterling Catering. It really was the best night of my life marrying my best friend and could focus on the special night knowing that everything was taken care of.

The bartenders were excellent, and Shauna is a fantastic wedding coordinator that is very responsive and the most helpful. They have preferred caterers, and we went with Green Mill catering. It was so delicious and a great price. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone that is holding an event. The building itself was was very beautiful, you really don't need a lot of decorations for it! I would definitely give it a 10/10!

This venue is beautiful! We had the ceremony upstairs, the cocktail hour on the lower level, and finally the reception back upstairs. There is plenty of space in the back such that the caterers and support staff can get everything ready without being disruptive in any way. Shauna was a pleasure to work with, and everything went really smoothly in both the prep and the day-of. The only possible issue someone might have is that the parking lot is relatively small (40 spots), but this isn't surprising given the location. They do have street parking and also offer a valet service. In hindsight, maybe we should have chosen to pay for that service. Nevertheless, we had a FANTASTIC time. If we had to do it all over again, we would choose FIVE again in a heartbeat. We highly recommend this venue.

From the super informative first meeting to prompt responses to all of our (many) questions, to the execution & problem solving day-of, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The space is so lovely, we didn't really need to do much to decorate at all. And the team is incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially as we got closer to the event and were so scattered! I would absolutely recommend FIVE for any event, but think it is one of the best, prettiest, and most convenient spaces for a wedding in the Twin Cities.

From the super informative first meeting to prompt responses to all of our (many) questions, to the execution & problem solving day-of, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The space is so lovely, we didn't really need to do much to decorate at all. And the team is incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially as we got closer to the event and were so scattered! I would absolutely recommend FIVE for any event, but think it is one of the best, prettiest, and most convenient spaces for a wedding in the Twin Cities.

Shauna and Danielle were both incredibly helpful every step of the way whether it was sending photos of past weddings to inspire me for decorations or answering my many frantic emails. We had an amazing experience with them and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. The architecture and decor the space has does not require many decorations. Our guests were so impressed with all aspects. So thankful for working with them!

We had a lot of family and friends come to Minneapolis from across the country, and loved the convenience of having both the ceremony and reception in one location. There were several tours throughout the morning while we were decorating that seemed to take up a fair bit of Shauna's time, but overall the experience was great and we are so happy that we chose FIVE Events Center for our wedding!

The classic brick held over from the building's days as a police precinct provided a wonderful backdrop for our ceremony and pictures, and the architectural updates helped create a hip, modern atmosphere our guests absolutely loved. We wanted a venue that could host both our ceremony and reception, and FIVE handled it with ease. The upstairs accommodated our 140 guests for the ceremony, dinner, and dance, while the downstairs had enough space for guests to socialize as the staff quickly flipped the upstairs from ceremony to dinner. The on-site bridal suite was large enough for my bridesmaids to get ready, and had space for a makeup artist to be brought in.The area surrounding FIVE is amazing, also. Our guests loved exploring the neighborhood nearby, and our photographer found wonderful places for pictures right outside the venue.The staff at FIVE were absolutely amazing, especially our event coordinator Shauna. My husband and I never felt like a burden to the staff, and everyone was super helpful and friendly. Shauna responded to my many (and random!) questions in a timely fashion throughout our wedding planning process. Shauna and others were true professionals!My husband and I went with FIVE's preferred vendors for catering, DJ, and bar, and did not regret any of our choices! Green Mill Catering was absolutely delicious, everyone loved our Buttercream Bakery cake, bar services were fantastic, and Instant Request did a fabulous job entertaining our guests. You will not go wrong choosing FIVE Event Center for your wedding!

I cannot stress enough how great and easy Shauna made it leading up to the big day - and on our actual wedding day her and her assistant were so awesome as well! I will always recommend this place for events!

We had an amazing experience with Five Event Center. Shauna was very quick to respond to everything and had great ideas to help us coordinate the night. I was planning from out of town so I relied on her a lot! The venue was so convenient with two levels to allow for ceremony and reception in the same place, our guests loved not having to worry about transportation and asthetics are perfect. They entry and reception rooms are pretty on their own but also allow for a lot of different decor options to make it your own! We are VERY VERY happy with this venue.

While they only had one hour to flip it, they did it seamlessly, even while we were taking family photos! For anyone looking for a venue with historic appeal, excellent wedding coordination, and a WOW factor, my husband and I highly recommend FIVE Event Center.

Though we unfortunately were not able to book here due to our extremely tight budget, I just loved every minute I spent at this venue! Of all the venues we toured, Shauna was definitely the most detailed and helpful in answering all our questions and she made us just feel so comfortable. Their pricing really is SO reasonable, too for all that they provide and all their flexibility. Sadly just not possible for us in our current situation but I know the space would have been just beautiful for our big day. All in all can't say enough about Five Event Center and the wonderful management they have

Five Event Center was a perfect venue for our daughters wedding celebration! Initially I worked with Danielle and could not say enough about her. She was very professional and knowledgeable yet she was very personable. I left our first meeting feeling very confidnet in her abilities. A couple of weeks prior to the wedding, Danielle told me she was going to pursue other opportunities and I would be working with Shauna. I was a little nervous at first since I had not worked with Shauna but she proved to be just as capable and professional. Everything went smoothly and the wedding was beautiful! I really appreciated their flexibility to our requests. All of the staff that I have worked with there are so nice and friendly. I loved having the 2 seperate floors (one for cocktails and the other for the ceromony, dinner and dance). On the day of the wedding, we had a lot of snow and icy roads. Five Event Center provided us with complimentary valet parking due to the weather. This was so appreciated and not expected. I would highly recommend this venue.

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Danielle at FIVE, and we had a wonderful experience. This venue has a lot of really neat character, so we felt we didn't need to do a lot to decorate. The two levels has a unique feel that gave us a lot of room to see and be with our guests. Danielle was very responsive, thoughtful and communicative. We couldn't have imagined a better day, and they helped to make that happen. The only downside I can think of was that there is no parking availability, so we paid to have a valet for our guests. Overall - very happy with how everything went!!

Best venue ever!! It is a beautiful 2 level venue and the event planner Danielle was so great to work with! She responded to every question right away and everything turned out perfect. I can't say enough great things about the venue itself. It had a lot of bathrooms, a bridal suite and a patio that was great for the social hour. Go see the venue and you will fall in love.

We had the best experience with FIVE Event Center for our wedding. The venue is absolutely amazing and gorgeous, and we received so many comments about it from all of our guests. We had both our ceremony and reception at FIVE and couldn't have imagined a better place to say \"I Do.\" Danielle and all of FIVE's preferred vendors went above and beyond in every aspect of our day. Danielle specifically is a rock star at her job. She was responsive, helpful, knowledgeable, and our day wouldn't have gone as smoothly without her involvement. We are so glad that we chose FIVE and it couldn't have been any better!

My husband Jamie and I were married last Sunday at FIVE. We had our wedding ceremony and reception there. Danielle was wonderful in helping us plan, and making our wedding day so special.She is fabulous to work with! She has a very upbeat attitude and would always get back to us right away when we had questions. My sister in law was intricate in helping us organize things from our end, and Danielle was very willing to work her as well. She helped us coordinate the valet (which was a big hit with our guests), worked with our cake and flower vendors, and even put up some decorations for us. No matter what we needed, Danielle was always willing to help. Our wedding day was everything we had wanted and imagined, and Danielle was a huge part of making that happen! FIVE is a great venue and worked perfectly for what we wanted.

We had a wonderful wedding reception at Five Event Center on 04/29/17 under the direction of Danielle. She was wonderful in helping us plan and execute a flawless party that night. Everything went as planned - the food was delicious and served right on time,the event center was decorated beautifully and nothing was forgotten. We couldn't be more pleased with Danielle and the friendly staff at Five Event Center. It is a wonderful spot for any celebration. Danielle is so very friendly, and always available for questions and suggestions for your needs. We couldn't be more pleased.
