I had both my rehearsal dinner at the FDL private restaurant and our wedding ceremony/reception at Fleur De Lis Event Center's Pontchartrain Ballroom and both were amazing! Mr. Chad and his team brought our dream day to life! From the start till the end, they were responsive and very helpful. They also answered all my crazy questions and made the whole process seem so easy. It was a lot of planning but it was so worth it in the end and was executed perfectly! Our guests keep talking about how beautiful everything was and how \"it was the best and most beautiful wedding they've ever attended in a whileā Videos and pictures were the proof but even they do not do the event justice. It was a magical night for us and everyone who attended.When you tour the Fleur De Lis Event Center venue for the first time, you will fall in love with it: the ballrooms and their starry ceilings, the spacious and lit courtyards, the team/cast members, the packages, the ambiance, the decor, the food/drinks, and the pricing. Mr. Chad was the best officiant my husband and I could have asked for; he made everyone laugh and lightened up the mood. Our bridal coordinator Kendra was amazing as well as her team in executing everything. The DJ was in-house too and he was absolutely great and kept everyone entertained the whole time. Everyone will take care of you and take care of everything for you at Fleur De Lis Event Center. You will be in very good hands and I definitely recommend Fleur De Lis Event Center for any event and especially for your big day. I seriously cannot say enough good things about the Florida Lee event center! They were so organized, kind, attentive. My list of compliments could go on and on! The food was absolutely incredible. I can't begin to explain how amazing everyone at the Fluer De Lis was on our wedding day. As stressed as I was, when I walked in the door the wonderful ladies there had everything set up for us. The bridal suit was perfect. Everything looked amazing. The attentiveness of the staff was beyond anything I could've asked for. The food was perfect! They made sure our wedding party was well taken care of during our pictures and after. If you are looking for a venue with style and knowledgeable and caring staff this is the place for you. I was so immediately relieved :)

The bridal suit was perfect. Everything looked amazing. The attentiveness of the staff was beyond anything I could've asked for. The food was perfect! They made sure our wedding party was well taken care of during our pictures and after. If you are looking for a venue with style and knowledgeable and caring staff this is the place for you. This venue was a perfect mix of what my husband and I wanted. The outside ceremony was absolutely beautiful. Guests have complimented everything non stop from food to decor. We used the venues DJ and unfortunately he did not meet our expectations. We were told requests would be taken by guests and he turned down the Groom and other bridal party requests. He also did not honor our wishes for a private last dance. We absolutely loved our coordinator and everything else, but my only advice would be to write down the top few things that you absolutely want to happen that day as a reminder to tell someone. Everything was in the Bridal packet but I forgot to bring a few things to their attention the day of that I really wanted to happen. For an example, no phones out during ceremony, private last dance, & no guests wondering up to the bridal suite before ceremony (very overwhelming) 100% recommend this venue

Not even sure how to begin this review! No words can express how amazing the Fleur De Lis Event Center was for our wedding. The staff is amazing! Mr. Chad is the sweetest plus was very helpful with going over everything for the ceremony and he even had us and our guests laughing during the ceremony which is exactly what we needed to take the nerves away! The food was amazing! Our guest still talk about the food! They helped us with anything we needed from beginning to end. Plus, being able to have our rehearsal dinner in their restaurant was also a bonus and was so nice! I couldnāt be happier with choosing to have our NYE wedding there!

Where do we even begin?! First a pandemic then tropical storm! Our wedding was previously scheduled at fleur de lis event center for July 2020. We decided to postpone to June 2021. Mr. Chad and his team were so supportive and accommodating, no questions asked and we were able to reschedule. I am so glad we decided to postpone, because our wedding was everything we had ever dreamed of. Kendra was a rockstar! She was on top of every single detail the whole day, she has a ton of experience and it shows! She made sure everything went off without a hitch! We didnāt have to worry about anything but showing up. Last minute they quickly changed the ceremony to outside because the weather cleared up! We were so impressed with how quickly they got it done! The bridal assistants were on top of everything! We never went without drinks in our hand and our family was taken care of as well. The venue was beautiful, the food was great, Mr. Chad did amazing officiating the ceremony, the staff were over the top, everyone said they had the BEST time! We really felt taken care of every step of the way! We highly recommend Fleur de Lis Event Center.

We had a wonderful time at our daughter's reception at FDL . The facility was nice and the food was great but the best part was the bridal team and staff. Everyone was professional and did their jobs well. Everything was organized well and executed in a manner that flowed well. All of our questions and any needs that arose were promptly addressed. As others have mentioned, the bridal team made sure we had drinks, food, and anything else we needed throughout the event. All of the guests enjoyed the reception. Overall a job well done.

The Fleur De Lis team not only made us feel safe during COVID, but they made sure all of my corky ideas and visions came to life! Patsy, Tori and Ana all took the time to play around with setup with me so that the wedding day would go smoothly. This put me at ease since I was an out of town bride.The day of the wedding, I arrived at the venue 3hrs early prepared to decorate and help with setup only to find that everything was already done! Ana, Tori, Becky, and the rest of the team had everything exactly as I had envisioned it! I'm still in disbelief!Chad and his team truly made it their mission to make sure that the bride and groom were NEVER concerned with ANYTHING! They have it down to a science!My guests could not stop raving about how amazing the staff, food and ambiance were! More importantly, I cannot stop replaying my wedding day in my head! It was truly PERFECT!!!Thanks again to the entire Fleur De Lis team!!!! My husband and I are forever grateful!

Planning a wedding is stressful enough, but planning a wedding during a pandemic is even more stressful... or at least it would have been if we had booked our wedding anywhere else but Fleur de Lis Event Center! Chad, Patsy, Ana and her bridal team went absolutely above and beyond to answer every single little question we had regarding COVID protocols or any general wedding-related questions. Our bridal coordinator, Ana, essentially had every detail of our wedding packet memorized, and she helped bring our wedding vision to life! I don't think it could have been any more special than it was! Our guests were constantly raving during and after the reception about the food and the atmosphere -- it's been nearly a month since the ceremony (we got married on November 22nd) and people are still telling me how beautiful and fun our wedding was! Chad also did a wonderful job officiating our ceremony, and he made sure to personally meet with me, my husband, and my father prior to the ceremony to explain all of the details regarding what we needed to do. The ceremony was perfect and beautiful; there's nothing I would change about that day at all. Thank you to the entire staff at Fleur de Lis for helping us have the most perfect wedding day!

We just celebrated our 1 year anniversary and we both have such amazing memories of our wedding and we constantly get complements on how beautiful it was and the venue! Ana, Victoria, and Patsy went above and beyond for us on our day and Mr. Chad and the staff were always available for any questions we had leading up to the wedding. And don't worry ladies, even if you're talking to 1 person mostly (we spoke with Kendra a lot, she was also amazing) but have a different coordinator the day of, it doesn't even matter! Everything went so smoothly! Even my dad was impressed and he has to be the most difficult person know! Thank you all for making our day perfect! If you're looking for a venue, look no further!

My husband and I got married this past Friday and we are so glad we chose FDL event center! Everyone raved about the food, not only at our rehearsal dinner, but at the wedding too! The absolute BEST venue on the Northshore... Fleur de Lis made all of our wedding dreams come true for our families. The food was excellent... the music was fun & picked out by the wedding party... the service was impeccable.. and the personal care & attention to detail was second to none!! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect night! Everything was handled, the food was delicious, and we had the time of our lives! Few key points:-First, I'll talk about the stars of the show: the bridal team that was there for me before, during, and after! Julie was awesome and on top of everything before I could think of it, and she went over every detail of the bridal packet with me to ensure that she understood my vision for the night. She also helped with suggestions when I was struggling. Patsy was great too! She showed me examples of linens and helped me choose. She also had some perfect suggestions for decisions I was struggling with. Then there was Kaylee. She was made sure I had something to drink all night. At one point, I was dancing, and when I walked off the dance floor, she was waiting with a drink. I hadn't even thought about being thirsty, and I finished the entire drink right then. This was the best team a bride could ever ask for. -They are thorough! I was a very laidback bride, which means that I didn't really have a lot by way of details for them (I'm sure I was a total pain!). They worked with me and had incredible suggestions for details that I was struggling with. Julie even reached out to my cake vendor to find out which cake stand would work best with my cake because I didn't know! -Every last detail I requested, they took care of! When the cake vendor we were hoping to use turned out to be awful, they even recommended an AMAZING cake vendor! (Marguerite's in Slidell, if you're wondering). -The food! I have a severe shellfish allergy and hate rice. There was not a single shellfish or grain of rice anywhere to be seen. I was floored by how absolutely delicious the food was as well! So many of our guests were raving about the food. On top of that, I have a friend with celiac, so she asked if they could just get her a bowl of salad that hadn't had croutons in it when they refilled it again. Not only did they stop right then and go get her a big, crouton-free salad, but they found her at a table a few minutes later with a huge plate piled high with every gluten-free option they had to serve that night. -The DJ was great. We used a house DJ and gave him only a few specific songs for a few specific events throughout the night, and he filled in ALL the rest perfectly. If I could do it all over again, I'd do it exactly the same.

We had our wedding on 6/26/20. This was literally the best night of our lives! The Fleur De Lis Event center was absolutely amazing! I was literally having anxiety from all of the coronavirus drama going on in the world (literally so much was going wrong), and when the day of the wedding actually arrived, it was literally the smoothest, most perfect day I have ever had in my life. Mr. Chad and his team have been in constant contact, updating everyone about new rules, regulations, and changes that have to be made. Unfortunately, we did have to change our date so our special day hasn't happened yet. Just about everything at the Fleur De Lis Event Center was phenomenal! The food was incredible, the assistants/team was beyond helpful, and the atmosphere of the entire night was great! There are only two negative things I have to say about our wedding. The first is very minor, but still had upset me. My wedding cake had two flavors between the three tiers and I had asked to get a slice of the middle tier because it was my favorite flavor. The assistant told another worker to make sure a piece of that layer gets cut for us, but we never got it. Like I said, VERY minor but I was looking forward to enjoying a piece of my wedding cake. The second negative is that our wedding basically came to a screeching halt. I had requested a specific song for a second line to end our reception and it didnāt happen. No song, no second line, not even an announcement saying it was the last song. Just a security officer yelling for everyone to get out. That took me and my husband by surprise and had upset quite a few of our family members. Iām not sure if the facility normally works this way or if the officer was having a bad night.

If you are looking for a venue for your special event, I highly recommend The Fleur de Lis Event Center. I cannot write a higher praise for Fleur de Lis Event Center. Our wedding was absolutely magical and that was in large part due to the team at Fleur de Lis. To give some context our wedding took place during Hurricane Barry. What could have been a disaster turned out to be the perfect night. I will be forever grateful that we chose this place for our wedding. Anna our coordinator was the epitome of calm, helpful, kind, and prepared. She was quite honestly perfect and we loved her. I could not have asked for better support. We were coordinating the event for months from out of state and Chad, Anna, and Kendra made it very easy to coordinate. They sent me videos and pictures so I could get a sense of the space when I needed and they readily answered all questions. On the day of they were very accommodating to make sure our ceremony was exactly what we envisioned. They had already taken care of everything before I could even think to ask about it. All of our guests (and us) felt taken care of. On top of their outstanding service this place is an absolute dream of an event center. They easily can set up the ceremony inside and outside and your most difficult choice will be deciding which you love more. We had our event at the jazz ballroom and the star ceiling is truly magical. We required very few extra decorations as the place already looks amazing. All of our guests mentioned that it looked like it was out of a fairytale. There are just so many great details many of which you can customizeTo top it off the food and DJ were incredible. The food was so good that I had to remind myself to stop eating so that I could still dance. Our guests absolutely loved it and mentioned that they went out of their way to try more of the food. The DJ was also great he sent us a comprehensive set of questions ahead of time and nailed all of our songs. He also managed to get a perfect mix of romantic songs and dancing songs that had everyone up on the dance floor. Overall, I cannot recommend this place enough. Book it for its beauty and rest assured that you will be in good hands. Your guests will love the ambiance, food, and music, and you will have a perfect night to remember. They turned my hurricane into the perfect storm and I am SO happy and grateful to have chosen them.

The Fleur de Lis Event Center made our wedding night a dream come true! From the very beginning deciding to have my wedding at FDL I was in love. I worked with Kendra who helped me with planning, organizing, and any little thing a bride could possible need help with. There was so many days I had questions and they were always ready with answers. As the time got closer I started to work with Ana who really helped make my wedding come to life. Everything from the decor, to the flow, and even working with my large crazy family she was the best! We were taken care of through the entire process. The only thing we had to worry about the night of our wedding was having fun. The venue inside and outside was everything I could have imagined. The entire staff was so attentive and went above and beyond. If you were curious about the food people still havenāt stopped talking about how delicious everything was and I got married two months ago. I will forever be thankful to Chad, Ana, Kendra, Tripi, and the numerous staff that went into making our wedding at the Fleur de Lis Event Center a memory that will last a lifetime. We canāt wait to use yāall again for future events!

My husband and I had the greatest time of our lives at our wedding and a huge part of that was how easy and stress free the Fleur de Lis staff made everything! All of the pre-wedding stress melted away as they made sure everything was EXACTLY as we wanted it! We made our own centerpieces to fit our theme and they went above and beyond in helping us incorporate more little details, including some I hadn't thought of, to make it even better. During the reception, every single guest told us it was the best wedding they'd ever been to, and that the place was gorgeous, the food was amazing, etc. I never wanted something for more than 30 seconds before one of the lovely staff got it done. Our parents were also treated like royalty and were so happy to feel treasured on their children's wedding day. We had the absolute best time and would 100% recommend!!!

I was hoping to use the open staircase in the front of the venue but couldn't due to another event in the Ponchatrain ballroom, I also wish there was another more accessible way for family photos with the elderly but I have no major complaints. I truly had the time of my life and my guests are still gushing over how amazing my wedding was. There wasnāt a moment that I was there where I could find a problem with the way things were being run. The dance floor was packed at all times. It started to lightly drizzle about 15 minutes before the ceremony started but the bridal staff was really good about keeping the whole wedding party calm about the situation. I would recommend the Fleur de Lis Event Center for anyone in the area. Itās the best facility where you can have all things included rather than having vendors from all over to piece your wedding together. A+ from me. Thanks Mr. Chad!

Chad,Thank you for an amazing night! Allie's wedding was more than I could have ever dreamed. From you being so accommodating with the rain to making sure our car was packed and nothing was left in the bridal suite, every single detail was handled. I don't know how much Kendra makes, but she needs a raise! She was fantastic - so professional with just a touch of \"mothering\" to make sure the day was perfect! Everyone talked about how beautiful everything was and how delicious the food was!!! I wish I would have made myself eat! I was too busy having fun!!! My only complaint is that the times goes by way too fast! I was so sad when they announced the last song - I wanted another 2 hours at least!!! For the past few weeks everyone has been asking me if I needed help and if I was busy getting ready. My answer was always the same; I have nothing to do - they literally do it all! Thank you for that! I was able to watch my baby's dreams come true!! And you were right...it never rains in Tiger Stadium on a Saturday night!!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!Melissa

We got married December 9, 2017 and had our reception at the Fleur de Lis Event Center. It was nothing short of perfect! Our coordinator Anna got my vision in a matter of minutes and helped move our night along in an efficient manner without making us feel like we were rushed. He also made a highlight video of our night and had it to us as we were leaving the reception! All of my guests raved about the food as well! I can't recommend this venue enough!

We had our wedding here on a Friday night in November. Everything was perfect! Our guests raved about the food, the ambience, and the music. The courtyard looked beautiful with all the lights and the reception area was set up so pretty. Our DJ was \"on point\".. as one of my friends said! Chad and Kembra made sure everything ran smoothly and really did make us feel like a king and a queen for the night. I can't imagine a better time! The Fleur de Lis Event Center's pricing is very reasonable compared to most other vendors in the area. I know they offer the most and although I may be biased.. I think they are the best!

This venue was recommended to me by a friend from high school. She raved about the good food, great communication beforehand, and attention to detail. I'm not a totally picky person, but I can get pretty anxious about wanting to control everything and \"run the show.\" From the beginning, Chad and the event center staff were very communicative in the process of quotes, contracts, and booking. We were able to have a wonderful wedding at a completely reasonable price, which is nearly impossible in the area. All-inclusive is the way to go! Did not have to worry about a thing. I grew up in theatre and they were like the most perfect stage managers any cast or director could ask for. I did not have to worry about a THING. Even the things that I forgot, I just asked if they could do (like I decided not to change for my send-off because I was having too much fun), and they did it with the most efficiency and grace. I cannot say enough good things about them for day-of coordination.Planning a wedding was still stressful (obviously), but there were so few things I had to worry about before because of their comprehensive bridal packet. During, I literally felt like my most trusted companions were taking care of everything with the same care I would give.The food was incredible. Guests were raving about the food and drinks. We requested steak and different sides, and I can honestly say it was one of the best meals of my life. Then, they packed up the leftovers for us and we got to enjoy them all over again the next day!The owner has Disney event training, and it truly shows. They have weddings down to a formula without everyone feeling like they followed a formula. Our wedding felt unique and our own. We're very grateful to the owner and staff.

This venue was recommended to me by a friend from high school. She raved about the good food, great communication beforehand, and attention to detail. I'm not a totally picky person, but I can get pretty anxious about wanting to control everything and \"run the show.\" From the beginning, Chad and the event center staff were very communicative in the process of quotes, contracts, and booking. Professional and yet personable and oh so helpful. The Pontchartrain Ballroom is very grandiose and beautiful. And I love the Jazz Ballroom. It's got a great intimate feeling to it. I have no complaints only praise for this venue! Anna was amazing to work with! And everyone else there were amazing to work with! All my guest raved about the food and how wonderful it was! My guest had nothing but good things to say about their experience here! My parents loved everything about the venue! We were able to enjoy our day and the venue took care of everything! They waited on my parents and my husband's parents which they loved! DJ did an amazing job with the music! Chad does a great job with everything and was great to talk to! If I had any question I could ask the staff and they helped me out! My parents liked it so much I don't think my three younger sister's have a choice where their reception is! :)

The food is amazing, the venue is absolutely gorgeous, the DJ was amazing, and AnneMarie, my bridal coordinator, went above and beyond to make sure I felt like a star. I would recommend The Fleur De Lis event center to anyone that is getting married or having any sort of event. I can guarantee Mr. Chad and his staff will meet every expectation. My husband and I couldn't have been more pleased. AnneMarie made sure my parents and in laws had everything they needed, and I cannot thank her enough. The DJ found all of my requested songs for my ceremony. This meant so much to me. All the stress I was under just before the wedding I forgot to send in the cd with all the music I had chosen. This proves my point about this venue. If you want to a venue that will cause zero stress, this is the place. If you forget something or want something special, the staff will make it happen. Fantastic. My wife and I attended a wedding on 01/07/2017. When we walked in the decorations were perfect. Beautiful. The D J played great wedding music. The food was fit for a king. The staff was very friendly and asked us if there was anything we needed. No one on the staff was on the cell phone. Today that in itself is amazing. The even had two clowns there to face paint the children and make the balloon animals. The clowns did a wonderful job. GREAT idea. We will tell everyone we know where to go the absolute best.

I couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else! Our wedding was beyond perfect, all thanks to Chad and his staff! They went above and beyond for everyone. I never had to worry about anything the entire night, everything was so perfect! And also, I can't tell you how many compliments we got on how amazibg the food was! Thank you all so much for everything, y'all truly are the best!!

November 14, 2015 was one of the best days of my life, and the fleur de lis event center played a big part in it. Chad, Kendra and the rest of the staff were absolutely amazing!! From day one when we walked through the doors for our tour we knew this was were we would get married!!! Kendra was always there for me to a million questions. Not only did they treat us like royals, but they included our son in that special treatment....from catering to his picking eating to never letting him go without something to drink. He told everyone he was treated like a king, and he loved it!!! I will always recommend the fleur de lis event center to anyone who is looking to have an event!! I cannot say enough great things about the Fleur De Lis Event Center. They truly made our wedding a magical event. As the bride, I was afraid that I'd be a bridezilla, but I never felt stress or anxiety about the details. I knew that the Fleur de Lis event center would take care of everything. And they did. Our night was beautiful and fun! The staff was amazing, and attentive to our needs. The guests felt pampered. Thank you Chad and crew! I'd choose Fleur de Lis again and again.

The Best Day of My Life\r\rMy wedding was on September 26, 2015 and let me just say that it was The Best Day of muy life. Fleur de Lis Event Center made my husband and I's dreams come true. Everything was absolutely PERFECT. From the very beginning of booking all the staff made me feel like I was the only bride to have a wedding there! The experience was simply amazing. Not only is the food absolutely delicious, the Dj was awesome sending many guest on the dance floor! The atmosphere couldn't of been better, the courtyard where we married was breath taking, and everything about this day was Perfect. Not only did I get to marry The Love of my Life, but I have the perfect memory of my BEAUTIFUL wedding that I get to carry in my heart for the rest of my life. We did not get one complaint from any guest. It was so Awesome. We live out of state and when our daughter decided she wanted to get married in the New Orleans area we were concerned about how the planning would work. It could not have been easier thanks to Chad and his staff! They are very organized and detail-oriented and genuinely work hard to give the bride and groom the wedding and reception of their dreams. Chad, Kendra, and the rest of the staff answered all our questions promptly and did everything they could to make the planning process enjoyable for us. \r\rThe courtyard ceremony was beautiful. While the wedding party, family and guests enjoyed the reception, Chad, Kendra and staff were behind the scenes the entire time, making sure the special dances, cake cutting, bouquet toss, second line, etc. all went as planned. We just enjoyed the party!\r\rIf you want a beautiful courtyard for your ceremony, a great officiant, efficient bridal coordinator, delicious food and drink, a DJ that will make you want to take your shoes off and dance, photo booth, limo, and a courteous staff that is efficient and there to make your experience enjoyable, you need to check out the Fleur de Lis Event Center!\r

From the very first time we made that journey across the lake, we have been in love with Fleur de lis Event Center! We stayed and chatted so long we made a trip the next evening to check out the restaurant! The food, drinks, service, literally everything was amazing! We knew our search ended when we found Fleur De Lis! They made everything seem so simple. We planned for an outdoor ceremony, but unfortunately it rained. I was so upset but Kendra and Anna did everything to keep me calm. While we were getting ready in the lovely bridal suite, the sun came out and I knew everything was going to be fine. Kendra gave me a sneak peak of the indoor ceremony set up and it was truly breathtaking! I didnt even mind that the ceremony was indoors! They took care of everything, even things I did not think of (like a speaker for us to listen to music while we got ready in the bridal suite! ). They even helped the groom with assisting his surprise Brass Band for me during the ceremony. Everyone cannot stop raving about how amazing everything was, even some of the not easily impressed people that were in attendance! I know no other venue could have given us this experience! I look forward to finding a reason to come back to celebrate! Thank you!

This was a wonderful venue! From day one everyone was very accommodating and professional. The owner and wedding planner were very detail orientated which I liked and had a packet of information so everything was covered in the planning and for the day of. They responded to emails and phone calls very promptly and I could go by anytime I wanted. You can use your own vendors or they had great recommendations for vendors in the area. The food was great! Everything was very well planned and organized and I am usually the person that likes to do everything myself and I felt very comfortable leaving it in the hands of their staff and had zero worries on my wedding day!

The Fleur de Lis Center did an amazing job for our reception! Being the bride and having food allergies, I was very concerned with not being able to eat at my reception. They did a great job at catering to my needs! Kendra was our coordinator and I could not believe how wonderful she was. She was always close by and was very attentive to all of our needs. Chad is lucky to have her ;) I was worried about two receptions going on at once. I never heard the other reception and I felt like we were the only ones there, except for the parking. The other ceremony started before ours and took up all of the parking near the doors, even on our side of the venue. I just wish at least the first few spots were reserved for our elderly guest. The food was amazing. Our guest kept telling us how much they enjoyed the food! It is so nice inside that we did not have to spend too much on decorations! If I could do it all over again, I would have booked them instantly!

We had our wedding here on June 6, 2015. I couldn't have been any more pleased with this venue. My bridesmaids and I enjoyed the bridal suite complete with mimosas the morning of (which goes a long way to calm nerves)! The suite was spacious enough for all 7 of us plus two tiny flower girls. Our ceremony site was beautiful as was the ballroom. I can not say enough about this venue. I recieved a ton of compliments on the venus and the food. I didn't worry about anything that day. I was extremely pleased with what we recieved for the price. You can't go wrong with the Fleur de Lis Event Center!!

Fleur de Lis helped us create a wonderful wedding day and some beautiful memories! Everything was fantastic...the food, decorations, staff, management, organization, accommodations!
