Farmhouse Chic Event Facility in Historic Norcross
Flint Hill is a beautifully restored mansion located in historic Norcross. Featuring recently renovated farmhouse decor, a beautiful covered pavilion, landscaped grounds and a grand ballroom encased by French doors, Flint Hill embodies the warmth and intimacy of the South. This venue is part of a collection of properties owned and operated by Magic Moments. As wedding specialists, the staff at this company are experts at crafting in vogue nuptial events. Reservations of one of their locations mean that love birds can take advantage of their knowledge and experience. The cuisine is provided by A Divine Event, Magic Moment’s catering division. Using fresh, seasonal ingredients the chefs create into heavenly dishes. In addition, they use local produce as much as they can, for quality you can trust. Magic Moment’s also offers flowers and decor through their Design Studio. This division has existed since 1987, giving them the experience to know how to create a distinct wedding, just for you.

Flint Hill did an incredible job on our daughter’s wedding. It truly was magical and that is due to their staff and the gorgeous location. We so appreciate how hard they worked and how smoothly everything went that evening. They have their system down to a science to make the planning easy for the couple and yet make it unique to their needs. We will cherish those memories for a lifetime. We would highly recommend having your event at Flint Hill.

Honestly? This was the best wedding experience I could ever ask for. From design to the actual planning, the Flint Hill went out of their way to make sure that everything was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, the flowers and design were stunning and the staff were so nice! Weddings are stressful, and it meant a lot that there were so many hands on deck to make this day so special. If you are a bride looking for what to do, then be sure to check this place out. Your day is special, and with something all-inclusive it takes the stress of the day off of you and gives you time back to spend with your special someone, your family and your friends--and of course a specialty cocktail ;). Make sure to get the Drunkin' Donuts!

I am so very HAPPY me and my now new Husband found this place Flint Hill of Norcross, Everyone was so helpful and very nice and professional from the first day that I came in to do my tour..Jessica Stokes and Melissa Lybarger just a few names, I and can not remember everyone names , but the HOLD staff was so good to me. Everyone on the day of the wedding Love the Colors and decor the hold Atmosphere. I cannot say enough about Flint Hill they are the best!!!!!!

If I had to sum it up in one word, it would be INCREDIBLE. We were absolutely thrilled with Flint Hill from our first inquiry all the way until the wedding day. Crazy as it seems, we planned a wedding in 3 months' time and weren't sure if we could pull it off, but with the staff at Flint Hill in our corner, we were well taken care of, and no detail was overlooked.Every single staff member we worked with was knowledgeable and professional and thought of many details we probably would have overlooked. The wedding and reception were absolutely exquisite, from the decor to the florals to the delicious food! And of course, Flint Hill itself is absolutely gorgeous. Our guests were raving about all of it! Everything just went so smoothly that day and we could not have been happier. I can honestly say I would not change a thing.The on-site staff on the wedding day was so attentive and handled every detail. We had a big rain storm move in close to ceremony time and they were constantly watching the radar. I didn't worry about the details because I knew we were in good hands. We had to pivot and set up under the pavilion at the last minute, but the staff handled it quickly and everything went off without a hitch.I cannot say enough about Flint Hill. Wish I could give them 10 stars. Best day ever!

The Flint Hill venue and team are both incredible. We got married here in May 2023 with about 140 guests. The planning process is nicely streamlined, and their staff made everything run so smoothly on our day. The property is beautiful for photos, and the covered pavilion in the backyard gave us confidence we could do an indoor/outdoor wedding even if it rained! Highly recommend for both the beautiful property and professional staff.

First, this venue is gorgeous! The historic site is beautifully preserved and has a nice mix of modern touches. The staff is easy to work with and accommodating to all your questions. The day-of-coordinator was incredible, and she handled everything with ease! Plus, working with Magic Moments (the parent company) is just a smart idea. No vendor hunting needing outside of the outfits, DJ, and a photographer! Everyone told us what a wonderful time they had and how much they enjoyed the venue.

Absolutely LOVED working with Flint Hill. It is a BEAUTIFUL venue, and all of the planning team was wonderful to work with.Taylor was our rep and she was so patient as I hounded her with questions and changes over the whole year we worked on planning. Vonna was our day of coordinator and I could not have asked for a better person to whip our crew into shape. Even as things fell out of timeline, or I made last minute changes to our schedule the day before, Vonna was so flexible and accommodating. You could tell that she cared about making sure we were as calm as could be and did everything in her power to make sure we were genuinely enjoying our wedding (even talking me off the ledge when I almost had a meltdown at the reception).I appreciate how the space is so customizable and they were able to bring my wedding day vision to life! If I could do it all over again, I would pick Flint Hill as our venue every time. Highly recommend this venue and this team.

I got married at Flint Hill in March and the day could not have been any more perfect or stress-free. We did an all-day buy out which I highly recommend if you think that you will meet that minimum. The minimum is high but that includes florals, decor, cake, food, and drink. We easily exceeded that minimum with 175 guests. You do get nickeled and dimed for everything but I would do it all over again if I could.Having an all-inclusive venue was a lifesaver when it came to planning and the day of. I had absolutely no worries on the day of the wedding and knew that they were under control of everything. With it being the coldest and windiest day of March we had to go with plan B for the reception and I wouldn't know anything was different if I didn't plan it.The ceremony and reception were absolutely beautiful and the design team did a great job. The food was delicious and our guests raved about the gouda mac and cheese. I could not recommend Flint Hill enough. I want to do it all over again! Thank you Taylor, Emily, Sarah, Brenda, and all of the bartenders/servers and all of the behind the scenes people for making our wedding day so great!

We're so happy we held our wedding at Flint Hill! Jennifer, Anna and the staff pulled off a great event, making the big day a breeze for us. We got countless compliments from our guests about the venue itself, the food and the decorations. Our guests really took advantage of the space: it was fun seeing conversations happen in corners of the house, people congregating by the outdoor bar and of course a packed dance floor. Through the planning process, there was some change in the staff members we worked with, which was concerning for us -- but when it came time for the event, everything went off without a hitch. Knowing we had some concerns during planning, we could tell Jennifer and Anna went above and beyond to make us confident things would go well.We, and our guests, were all-around very impressed with Flint Hill. Flint Hill is such a beautiful place! My only concern when we booked the venue was that there was another wedding in the morning, but when I got there at my assigned time, there was nothing left of the other wedding. You would've never guessed there had been anyone there before us. A perfectly seamless transition. Having most of the big vendors be through the same company (A Divine Event) makes things a lot easier.Our ceremony was held in the courtyard during golden hour, and it was just the most romantic setting.Our Flint Hill team was incredible! Katie was super kind and responsive throughout planning, and even thought we had to make many adjustments because of COVID, she did her very best to help us in the planning. Kari was our day-of coordinator, and she was crazy good! Everything ran so smoothly, she was on top of everything!Now the food... we still have people texting us about the food! Best wedding food ever! The catering team has a very extensive menu and will work with you to create something that fits what you envision. I hope everyone I know will get married here so I can eat their food again!Our designer with the Design Studio was Melissa, and she will make every single one of your floral dreams come true and stick to your budget! During our first meeting, I was so worried about going over budget and she said \"tell me everything you want, and I will make it work\". And she really delivered! My orchid bouquet was everything I had hoped for and more!Thank you Flint Hill for an absolutely beautiful day!

Having most of the big vendors be through the same company (A Divine Event) makes things a lot easier.Our ceremony was held in the courtyard during golden hour, and it was just the most romantic setting.Our Flint Hill team was incredible! Katie was super kind and responsive throughout planning, and even thought we had to make many adjustments because of COVID, she did her very best to help us in the planning. Kari was our day-of coordinator, and she was crazy good! Everything ran so smoothly, she was on top of everything!Now the food... we still have people texting us about the food! Best wedding food ever! The catering team has a very extensive menu and will work with you to create something that fits what you envision. I hope everyone I know will get married here so I can eat their food again!Our designer with the Design Studio was Melissa, and she will make every single one of your floral dreams come true and stick to your budget! During our first meeting, I was so worried about going over budget and she said \"tell me everything you want, and I will make it work\". And she really delivered! My orchid bouquet was everything I had hoped for and more!Thank you Flint Hill for an absolutely beautiful day!

This is the one.\"Magic Moments (the company that operates Flint Hill and other venues around Atlanta) has this wedding thing down to a science and so it runs ultra smoothly. I felt like I should have been more worried about so many of the components of our day ESPECIALLY being a COVID bride who chose not to move her date but everything went off without a hitch entirely because of their team. So why not 5 stars? Don't get me wrong, I would do my event there again in a heartbeat but be aware that because this venue works best when everything is done in house, you don't get a ton of creative freedom without paying a pretty penny. As a creative, I would have wanted more liberty with decorations and things to bring in to make my day unique. And I could have done that but it would have totally broke the bank. You can't go wrong with Flint Hill and their amazing team. It will be like a magazine spread and all your Pinterest boards rolled into one. But you will pay dearly for it. Something I would willing do again and again.

I cannot say enough about how great it is to have flowers, food, and planning all in one place and how much less stressful it was. It is also a great feeling to know that there is a crew there to break down everything so all your family has to do is pick up your personal belongings (I've seen many wedding where the family members are stuck with cleaning everything up). That, in and of itself, meant a lot to me.The food, venue, and flowers were absolutely beyond my expectations and my guests are still raving about it (the risotto in a giant bowl made of cheese and late night grilled cheese were a highlight). Let me start by saying that as a gay couple, it can be challenging finding vendors that are truly welcoming, even in today's times. That was not the case with Flint Hill. From the moment we set foot on the property that very first day, we were welcomed with open arms and made to feel like royalty. I could easily write a little novel about my experience with Flint Hill, but I won't do that. I just have to say that the associates there are professionals who are going to bend over backwards to make your special day truly magical. Logan was our initial sales consultant, and she was a pleasure to work with. After signing the contract, we were assigned Katie as our wedding coordinator. Let me tell you that Katie is an absolute gem. There was never a question I could ask that was a bother to her, and she was always eager to assist and help out with genuine kindness and passion. Throughout the course of our planning sessions, every detail was discussed and planned out to create the perfect ceremony and reception. Lastly, I just want to say that the grounds are absolutely beautiful, and the food provided by their in house caterer A Divine Event was second to none!!!! There were so many options for appetizers and entrees, and we were so pleased with our final decisions. I cannot begin to express how many compliments I have received from my family and friends on how beautiful the ceremony and reception were. I still have people hittong me up telling me how much they enjoyed the food!!! All of the waiters and bar attendants were superb. Thank you Flint Hill, from the bottom of our hearts, for making our wedding day truly a special day to remember forever.

After review of 12+ venues in the ATL area, we were happy to select Flint Hill. 140+ of our 180 guests were from out of town and we wanted to choose a venue that had an ATL feel yet wasn’t too different from our roots. Flint Hill was great because it was unique, had a southern antebellum mansion feel, but also with hints of contemporary design and decorations that prevent it from feeling too southern or antiquated. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor/indoor venue ceremony/reception elements, the reasonable price, and the all-in-one package with catering, design, and wedding coordinator. Of all the venues, it was the most logical and reasonable package and way to sell a wedding venue, which we actually appreciated.Flint Hill was also well located near hotels, and even had a nice Chamblee restaurant area for rehearsal dinners. We did ours at Southbound (also highly-recommended).All the planning up to the wedding was smooth and organized and we always felt supported with open lines of communication and follow-up. We had a unique wedding day where it torrentially rained without any forecasted expectation. Between working with staff to dry the seats, and checking weather updates, the weather couldn’t make up it’s mind which created delay. Through the chaos I must say Flint Hill coordinators and planners were respectful, helpful, and gave recommendations without being overbearing. You can’t ask for much more in that situation. We ended up going with plan C or D which was to do the dinner first to let the rain subside, so that we could get married outside like we always planned. It made for the perfect night time wedding, all our guests were happy and entertained, we maximized our time, and the staff were always ready with drinks in hand as soon as our drinks got low to help us make up for lost time. In summary, couldn’t be happier, highly recommend, and recommend trying to book in advance because the weekend slots fill up quick. The landscape is well maintained and the back yard space is breathtakingly beautiful and can be used for various purposes. Flint Hill also provides their own catering services and our food was incredible. Using their catering service and design studio made the planning process super easy. Not to mention having an event planner included on the day of my wedding! Everyone I worked with strove to give us the wedding of our dreams and I could not be happier. They have top shelf liquor options (kettle one, etc) and generally will work with you to ensure you’re satisfied! Highly highly recommended!

We had an amazing wedding at Flint Hill in January. They did an excellent job making everything we wanted happen! The evening was perfect. They made sure we got everything we wanted while working with a reasonable budget. The food was delicious and the staff did a great job with everything. I couldn’t have asked for a better location and team.

We had our daughters wedding at Flint Hill on June 30th and I can’t say enough good things about them!!! They are a well oiled machine! It all started with Logan! She’s a doll and from the very 1st meeting we knew picked the perfect venue for the wedding!!! Jenny from The design team is outstanding!!! We gave her our vision and she more than meet our expectations! We wanted a flower wall and it turned out unreal!!!! Jennifer and Brittany are incredible to deal with during the planning phase! They are experts at pulling everything together! My daughter and I were sad at the last meeting because all our planning was complete!!! The food was outstanding! We consider ourselves foodies and they hit it out of the ball park! We had a very large wedding so we didn’t have a seat for everyone so my fear was dirty plates and glasses on the tables while our quest went to a different food station. It was never an issue! Even if someone dropped a glass or drink on the dance floor their staff had it cleaned up before anyone noticed! We were afraid with our quest count the venue would feel crowded and it was the total opposite! So many of our friends said “why haven’t we been to more weddings at the venue?” When my daughter and her husband said “we got chills when we walked down the isle” To me as the mother you could not ask for a better compliment! I’m a very picky person when it comes to flowers, FOOD, drinks, service and when I say I was pleased is an understatement!! I was over the moon!!!! We had absolutely no regrets when it came to anything Flint Hill was in charge with!!! They have no hidden surprises! They have an incredible team! So thank you so much for a wonderful wedding!!!!

Our wedding at Flint Hill in April 2018 was phenomenal! We received SO many compliments on the venue itself-- the weather was perfect and it truly was such a perfect day! All of our planning sessions leading up the wedding were extremely well orchestrated (even given the fact that we had two wedding planners because one left on maternity leave), and overall the organization was exceptional (you can really tell with as many weddings as they put on that they really know what they're doing).There were only a couple of little incidents leading up to our day. My husband is allergic to peanuts (which we mentioned in both our initial planning appointment with Flint Hill as well as in our Design Studio appointment). We were made aware one month before the wedding that the Design Studio couldn't make our cake because they couldn't guarantee it to be nut-free (even though we'd mentioned this in two separate planning appointments previously). Ultimately, they ended up coordinating everything with a local nut-free baker and were able to provide what we had agreed on for the same price (a smaller, display cake and two larger sheet cakes). I found out after the wedding that we actually ran out of cake at the reception (my dad returned twice for cake and wasn't able to have any), which leads me to believe that we might have only ended up with one sheet cake instead of two.Also, we were allowed to give out wine bottles as wedding favors (as long as they were sealed and handed out by staff at the end of the reception). It was nice of Flint Hill to allow us to do this, given that they don't allow any outside alcohol at the venue whatsoever. When we explained that we wanted to actually make the beer and wine to serve at our wedding (but weren't allowed to do so), they agreed to meet us in the middle and let us give out wine bottles as favors instead. A few days prior to the wedding when we were supposed to drop off the personal items to Flint Hill, I sent an email confirming they would have room to store the wine, but wasn't given a response. When we showed up to drop off our personal items, we were told that we'd have to bring the wine the day of or before the rehearsal instead (which was aggravating since we loaded it and brought it there, especially given the fact that I had specifically asked about it and was not given a response).Overall, our wedding day ended up being perfect, despite a few bumps in the road leading up to the event. Our day of coordinator, Courtney, was fantastic and was super attentive the day of the wedding. Even though we got slightly behind on our timeline because of pictures, she ended up keeping us in line and made up for some of the lost time. She made sure we knew where we were supposed to be and when, which made it easier for us to just relax and enjoy our day, without having to keep up with the timeline and details ourselves.The bridal showcase that was hosted in the spring was also extremely helpful in knowing what to expect as far as food, drink, and vendors. While we had an idea of what menu we would like to serve at the wedding, we actually changed our pasta after getting a chance to taste the pasta at the bridal showcase! We also got to meet with several of the vendors we were working with, including hotel staff from neighboring hotels, our DJ that we had selected (Spectrum Entertainment), and many other vendors (transportation, officiants, photographers, etc).

THIS VENUE IS AMAZING! Listen, I had a lot of concerns and doubts along the way. Yes, this venue has a lot of rules, regulations, etc., but there's a reason for that. They are experts at what they do...and they need the structure to ensure a consistent and successful delivery. And trust me, they will not disappoint! They are a well-oiled wedding machine, and did such a good job delivering on the day of our wedding. I was concerned about the food after the tastings (and frustrated because we had no choice but to use them), but my guests said it was some of the best wedding food they've ever had! They nailed it! We also used the design studio for all florals and bouquets and they turned out absolutely stunning. The design studio also offered some very affordable table center piece options which I was pleasantly surprised by.We got married at 7:30pm in November, so it was completely dark by the time the ceremony started. I was worried about how a night time outdoor ceremony would look in pictures, but with the lights out in the courtyard, the ceremony was like a fairy tale and the pictures turned out amazing. I would recommend taking some wedding pictures off site beforehand because they only allow you to arrive 2 hours before the ceremony and that’s not enough time to take all bridal party, couples, and family pictures. Overall, I highly recommend using Flint Hill. We had the most beautiful wedding and we/our guests can’t stop raving about it!

So happy to have our reception at Flint Hill in Norcross. My wife and I got married on 09-14-17 and with just a 3 month engagement we loved having Flint Hill to take care of everything for us. I loved how many options we had, yet everything was done for us. I did not have to worry about a single thing the night of my reception and everything went smoothly. Every person at Flint Hill was so helpful through the entire process! Would recommended to anyone!

They help plan every detail so that there are no surprises. The house itself is adjacent to the downtown Norcross area, but is nestled away in it's own little wooded area that combines a convenient location with a feeling of personal and private seclusion. The ceremony site is a picturesque courtyard with a white wooden gazebo that perfectly captures simple elegance. Since the property is so unique, there are a wide variety of locations that make for gorgeous photos. We made such wonderful memories at Flint Hill, we wouldn't have chosen any other venue!

Flint Hill was an absolutely perfect place for our special day!! It is so nice to know that the girls at Flint Hill take care of everything! It is pretty much a one stop shop as you are required to do your food & decorations through Flint Hill & their events company. Everything, from the first meeting up until the big day was so organized and they are straight forward with all the rules, regulations, & pricing and keeping you up to date if anything changes. The outside garden and outdoor ceremony site are so gorgeous that you barely even need additional decorations. All our guests were commenting on how good all the food was, and the cake through their design studio was fabulous too! The bridal suite upstairs is a perfect spot to spend the last few minutes with your girls before you walk down the aisle, and the house itself had such a gorgeous Southern charm you cant help but love! There were only a few small bumps in the road for us- and those were as follows: Flint Hill is very strict regarding the drinking & noise ordinance rules. They only allow you to have a certain number of bartenders, you can only get one drink at a time, etc. which does end up causing some long lines at times if your guests are big drinkers. They were upfront with all of this to me in the planning meeting- including telling me that if any guests were visibly intoxicated they would he asked to leave & not served. At the end of the night our DJ wanted to play an encore song (after his last song) and the Flint Hill workers quickley make him stop mid-song as they have a strict noise ordiance rule (which again, we were told about in our planning meeting!) I believe it is for 11 pm. All in all, it was a perfect day in a perfect location and I would choose Flint Hill all over again if given the chance!

We love Flint Hill! As an out of state bride, we were looking for a venue that provided a lot of services in house. Flint Hill had EVERYTHING in house. We hired a photographer, videographer, and dj, but everything from catering, to flowers, to the cake, to decor and planning all came from within the well oiled Flint Hill machine. I was worried that because they host so many weddings (and surely have it down to a science) that my wedding might end up being cookie cutter. This could not be father from what we experienced! They took every detail, wish, and whim into consideration, and made all of our wedding dreams come true. They accommodated my travel situation by allowing us to have our design meetings all in one weekend. They kept in contact via phone and email, and I never felt out of the loop in NYC. Katherine was our day of coordinator, and I could not have hoped for someone more qualified and caring to run our wedding day. She paid attention to the entire wedding party's needs, put out any fires before they started, and really did all she could to make our day special! The flowers and decor were stunning, and our cake turned out better than I had pictured! Absolutely dreamy. They are currently renovating the inside of the house, and were almost done by my wedding. There was no sign of construction, or any sort of thing out of place. I love the new layout, and the aesthetic of the house. I really have no complaints, and would highly recommend this venue and their design services to anyone getting married in the Atlanta area! Incredible team, and wonderful experience!

The team at flint hill created an amazing day for my daughter. From planning with Logan and April to the day of with Katherine and Tasha I couldn't have asked for anything more! I just had my wedding at Flint Hill on 05/27/17! I have nothing but great things to say about all the people I worked with all the way to the day of team, design studio, sales team, wedding planner..... What I was most excited about when picking Flint Hill for my wedding venue was how they made it so \"easy\". They were very organized, detail oriented and had so much to offer. All the vendors were great and exceeded our expectations. Our day of coordinator was great! The décor and flowers were so beautiful and more. The design studio was so great to work with. They helped with ideas and were able to get the most out of my design budget! I did not have my ceremony at Flint Hill only the reception. We had around 200 guest and it was comfortable.

I choose Flint Hill as my ceremony and reception site after searching for the perfect venue for months. Its southern charm and personality intrigued me immediately and it was pretty much love at first sight. Nestled just outside of downtown Norcross, it offers just the right amount of privacy. Everyone on staff is extremely friendly and will do anything that they can to make sure you have a memorable and positive experience. To top it off, their pricing is fair in comparison to similar venues. This venue will leave your guests saying \"Wow\" and \"Beautiful\".

I choose Flint Hill as my ceremony and reception site after searching for the perfect venue for months. Its southern charm and personality intrigued me immediately and it was pretty much love at first sight. Nestled just outside of downtown Norcross, it offers just the right amount of privacy. Everyone on staff is extremely friendly and will do anything that they can to make sure you have a memorable and positive experience. To top it off, their pricing is fair in comparison to similar venues. This venue will leave your guests saying \"Wow\" and \"Beautiful\".

Flint Hill was exactly what we wanted for our wedding! It was gorgeous, very open, and surprisingly comfortable for a wedding of 220. The food was delicious, the decorations were perfect, and our day of coordinator, Jennifer, was awesome! They were very easy to work with, they responded quickly to emails and phone calls, and they made it the most amazing day of our lives!

Flint Hill was exactly what we wanted for our wedding! It was gorgeous, very open, and surprisingly comfortable for a wedding of 220. The food was delicious, the decorations were perfect, and our day of coordinator, Jennifer, was awesome! They were very easy to work with, they responded quickly to emails and phone calls, and they made it the most amazing day of our lives!

For these two brides, Flint Hill was ... just WOW. Our wedding was a truly magical experience, thanks to the coordinating staff, design studio and catering. We were married November 4, 2016, and have received many, many compliments from our guests who have dubbed it, \"The Best Wedding Ever.\"We had high, and somewhat unusual, expectations for our wedding - two brides, two massive dresses, 12 slightly crazy bridesmaids and a fun, non-boring, heart-felt wedding that was also very elegant. Flint Hill simply took everything in stride like all of the above was normal, even routine. Our directions were even a little lofty with statements like, \"make it glow like a fairy tale.\" That is exactly what we received, though. Our ceremony was a beautiful moment in time covered in tiny white lights wrapped in a touch of fun and an amazing amount of love.From the moment we signed the papers, our coordinator said, \"OK! Now you can relax. We've got you.\" Flint Hill and all associated staff lived up to that promise every step of the way. The staff really listened to us to make sure our vision of the wedding became a reality. Our voice was always respected and honored, yet we were able to trust (sometimes blindly) that the staff would make sure all details were covered, even details that could have been real hiccups. For example, we gave simple instructions for the cake and never really saw the cake plans nor spoke to the baker. The cake was PERFECT, though. Also, we had a \"right-before-walking-down-the-aisle\" glitch involving two sons who had to recover from parts of a tuxedo left elsewhere. Our day-of coordinator did a beautiful job of keeping us calm by keeping us informed, making little adjustments and making sure we were ready with Plan B, if needed. We recovered seamlessly. Yes, there is a price tag for this venue, but we found it to be very affordable. Other venues may be less expensive, but remember that you will a) get less of an experience and b) probably incur more cost once you add up tons of smaller bills, time and effort. Let me tell you, Flint Hill is worth every single penny. Every. Single. One. THANK YOU, FLINT HILL!!! You are forever special to us.

Flint Hill was amazing! They really make sure that everything is exactly how you want it and so that you don't have to worry about anything the day of. You get an assigned wedding coordinator for your rehearsal and wedding day and they are a lifesaver. We had Katherine and she was fantastic. You get your own private dinner away from everyone for about 20 minutes so that you can eat and the venue is just beautiful regardless of how much or little it is decorated. They allowed me to bring in several handmade items which was so important to me. The food was amazing too!

My fiance and I got married only 5 months after getting engaged, so I specifically searched for venues that were all-inclusive to help cut down on the amount of planning I would have to do on my own. Flint Hill provides an event planner to help you through all the on-site details and a day-of wedding director to keep your ceremony and reception on track. Our day-of director, Talia, was fantastic! She was on top of everything and she was not just professional and friendly, but also kind. I felt completely comfortable knowing my wedding was in her hands!Flint Hill does their own catering and the decor for the ceremony and reception. You cannot get these elsewhere. They can also do the cake and your wedding party flowers, although you can get those elsewhere if you prefer. One thing to note is that the catering is listed in the price quote you receive when you tour the venue, but the decor is not. So when budgeting, remember that. I did feel that the decor prices were pretty high after paying for everything else, but their design studio was very willing to work with a smaller budget. I had them do my wedding party flowers and they turned out gorgeous!The only other thing I wasn't pleased with is that the time slots are fairly short (you can purchase more time, but it's pretty expensive to do so) and they don't allow you much time on-site before the event, so our photos were cut very short and I didn't get any with my bridesmaids because of it. Otherwise, I thought they did a fantastic job with everything they were responsible for.

This place is incredible. Our wedding was 8/6/16, and we only had our reception here, and they were so accommodating. My mom had so many ideas about what she wanted to add to the experience, and they not only welcomed every idea, but also executed them perfectly. During the reception, we had a person in charge of basically making sure my husband and I were okay throughout the reception. She went the second mile to make sure that we had a beverage whenever we needed one, to make sure we had time to eat, and to make sure we were overall comfortable the whole night. This really struck me because it showed they really care about you and making sure the night is everything you could ever dream. We even wanted to leave early, and they made everything happen perfectly so you would never know we were leaving early. The night was absolutely wonderful and magical.

This place is incredible. Our wedding was 8/6/16, and we only had our reception here, and they were so accommodating. My mom had so many ideas about what she wanted to add to the experience, and they not only welcomed every idea, but also executed them perfectly. During the reception, we had a person in charge of basically making sure my husband and I were okay throughout the reception. She went the second mile to make sure that we had a beverage whenever we needed one, to make sure we had time to eat, and to make sure we were overall comfortable the whole night. This really struck me because it showed they really care about you and making sure the night is everything you could ever dream. The design studio at Flint Hill is the only thing this place has going for it. The flowers and decor were beautiful, the rest however, was not good, to say the least. The \"day of coordinator\" we were assigned seemed like she had never coordinated anything in her life. If anyone were to ask her anything she would just stare at us with a blank look on her face. Several people in my wedding party asked me what was wrong with her.- An alarming question to be asked on your wedding day. She forgot to tell the MOB when to walk at the rehearsal and when we questioned her, she just laughed and said oops guess it doesn't matter and never went back through it to tell her when to go. She also let me, the bride, walk down the aisle without my bouquet. After the wedding, I and several of my family members contacted Flint hill about this specific day of coordinator. I finally got in touch with the owner after several of the managers there brushed us off. I emailed her and in response, I basically got an automated email back from her saying sorry and that she appreciated my feedback but that they had already talked to my family members and would put the coordinator back through the training. That was all she had to say to me after all the money we spent to have the perfect day only to have it ruined by the inexperienced and probably low payed staff they have running their events. Flint Hill needs to stop taking peoples money and maybe put there whole staff back through the training process because it literally seemed like we were being punked. Save your money and do a destination wedding. It'll be cheaper and less stressful than using Flint Hill.

We had the wedding of our dreams on 5/15, and a lot of credit goes to the beautiful Flint Hill facilities and the amazing staff. From the beginning, every person of the staff we encountered throughout the process (from sales to design to planning) were easy to work with and made planning our wedding an enjoyable experience. We wanted to have our wedding at a venue that was scenic enough for pictures, had an intimate backyard feel, and was a location that could comfortably accommodate our guests. Flint Hill offered all of this to us and more! Also, the facilitates were recently renovated, and we couldn’t have been more please with the look and feel of the new pavilion and pergola. We received so many compliments from our guests, and would highly recommend that any couple looking at venues in the Atlanta area to definitely consider Flint Hill!

Everyone there was so nice and supportive and I felt confident in everyone on their team. We had 205 people and I was worried about the dance floor space but they set it up perfectly and we had more than enough room. The food as well couldn't have been better. I had so many people tell me after that they wish our wedding could be every weekend and the venue was something magical!

That is no small feat given that my fiancé and I are both over 50! The planners at Divine Event (the management company for Flint Hill) were fabulous and knew exactly what type of atmosphere and style I had in mind. We chose a vintage glam theme and everything that was part of our celebration fit perfectly with it. The planners were able to make terrific suggestions for decor, flowers, and food choices. Even the vendors were used told me that the staff at Flint Hill are incredibly easy to work with. I can't recommend this venue enough - both my husband and I attend many events through our jobs (me - research scientist and he - musician) and we were both delighted with everything. We are so lucky to have a venue like this available to us here in the northeast Atlanta area.

The grounds are beautiful, which makes beautiful pictures. Our guests loved the food, venue and overall ambiance. The most valuable thing Flint Hill offered was peace of mind. Flint Hill is definitely a beautiful venue to have a ceremony and wedding. It was the first place my fiancé and I visit and we committed to the contract shortly after. We intially chose Flint Hill because of the one and done concept for catering, decor and planning but later found it to be a big mistake. Magic moments literally nickels and dimes for everything. Not only that but, the overcharge in the decor, cake and catering is hidden. The quote given at the signing of contract is very misleading. The staff turn over from the company made us feel very uncomfortable and the overall customer services was poor. We talked to the company about our concerns, but was disregarded. My fiancé and decided to break the contract and forfeit our deposit before investing anymore money into that company. They didn't care, they even told us they had 3 other couples cancel. Flint Hill is definitely a beautiful venue to have a ceremony and wedding. It was the first place my fiancé and I visit and we committed to the contract shortly after. We intially chose Flint Hill because of the one and done concept for catering, decor and planning but later found it to be a big mistake. Magic moments literally nickels and dimes for everything. Not only that but, the overcharge in the decor, cake and catering is hidden. The quote given at the signing of contract is very misleading. The staff turn over from the company made us feel very uncomfortable and the overall customer services was poor. We talked to the company about our concerns, but was disregarded. My fiancé and decided to break the contract and forfeit our deposit before investing anymore money into that company. They didn't care, they even told us they had 3 other couples cancel. We are very disappointed in the lack of concern they had for us and our wedding. But very happy it happen in enough time for us to fine another venue. ****BEWARE*****

I fell in love with Flint Hill the minute I walked in. There backyard garden area sold me. I loved how the lights are stringed from the gazebo and I loved how the stone walk was placed in the grass along side the brick pathway. Another thing that I loved was the beautiful ballroom and the complimentary tent that was attached. Everything was so easy from the very beginning I was absolutely never stressed which is a HUGE deal since most brides are so stressed out by the time their wedding date rolls around. My day of wedding planner was great and everything went so smoothly. I love that they do the catering, flowers and cake. They will absolutely make your dream wedding come true.

I really couldn't have asked for a better Ceremony & Reception Venue. It was breath taking, magical and so much more perfect than I could have even imagined. The wedding coordinator that they provided was so helpful, especially since it was raining at the time when our outdoor ceremony was meant to take place. As soon as the rain passed, a team quickly dried off all of the chairs and we were back on track. The lighting, decor and setting felt like a fairy-tale. I attended a wedding here and it was absolutely amazing - the ceremony was beautiful and the flowers and decorations were stunning! Everything tied together so well. Even with a groom that is notoriously late, and several members of the wedding party missing the rehearsal, the director ensured a smooth process from start to finish, incorporating last minute changes with ease. Furthermore, the food was incredible! I absolutely loved the parmesan crushed chicken - definitely wish I'd been through the buffet line to get more! Overall, an absolutely stunning wedding from start to finish. I hope to have my wedding here someday!

This venue is so gorgeous and everything about it was perfect!! Everything I wanted for an elegant wedding day with my friends and family. This venue takes care of all of the big details! Cakes, flowers, food and all things you could imagine. WE LOVED having our wedding at Flint Hill. We promised ourselves we would go with our gut instinct when it came to choosing the venue, and this was our place. Everything and everyone was so nice, however I rated this one less star due to our coordinator for the rehearsal and the day-of (Raven). She treated us like we were just any other wedding and had an attitude with us on multiple occasions. This does not reflect the attitudes of ANYONE else that works at Flint Hill. This venue is pricey, and I believe we wasted a lot of $$$ on food and alcohol. You do not get to keep leftover food, or even groom's cake that was left over from an outside vendor! Overall, I chose this venue because they do a lot of the planning for you. They still let us put our creative touches for our special day but if I could have changed our coordinator, I would have in a heart beat.

When my husband and I toured Flint Hill, we knew it was the perfect place to get married. From the very first tour they were nothing but professional and the packages they offered were more impressive and affordable than other venues we looked at around Atlanta. It is a one-stop-shop place. We had three planning meetings prior to our wedding. I basically showed their design studio my Pinterest wedding board and they recreated it perfectly! Definitely go to the Bridal Showcase they have twice a year because you get to see everything they have to offer their wedding couples. I could not have imagined my ceremony and reception to be more beautiful. They provide you with a day of planner and she did everything from making sure we had food and drinks to keeping the wedding day timeline on track. We had about 190 guests at our wedding and everyone fit perfectly! All of our guests raved about the food and cake! The ballroom was plenty big enough for our 7 piece band. The pictures turned out amazing! My parents were so happy they did not have to worry about clean up or tipping at the end of the night. Overall, it was the perfect place to host our wedding and our friends and family are still talking about our special day!

I want to start this off by saying the place would get 4 stars, maybe 5, because it is beautiful- but the rest was lacking.\rWe had to attend a meeting with their design studio to decide on the flowers and decor for the reception because our wedding was held at a nearby church. They said they wanted too make it all a cohesive event and incorporate the same flowers at the reception as the ceremony. That sounded wonderful, but never happened. We had light pink garden roses and ranunculus, light green hydrangeas, yellow spray roses, and aster. The flowers at the reception were sunflowers, white hydrangeas, and yellow roses. There was no pink. Since we had to attend a meeting about these flowers I felt like they wasted our time and money. Maybe they wanted to use the same flowers for the wedding after ours and this was a compromise between the two? \rAt the same meeting they said they would package our flowers up to be taken home, but when my mom asked about that at the reception they seemed put out and told us they don't box them up. If you do get married or have your reception here, be prepared to carry your flowers out and make sure they will in fact box them up. My family members were dressed nicely and were trying not to get their clothing messed up while taking the flowers to the car, I don't want other people to have to worry about that. \rThey also don't help carry anything out; table assignment chart, left over favors, card box, gifts, table numbers, cake, food. Warn whoever will be taking care of that for you because they will need to make multiple trips. Also, the driveway is gravel which messed up some ladies' heels, so have your guests keep that in mind. \rNow, food. The food was so great! I was very happy with everything that we ate. At the same time my family owned a restaurant and I was very disappointed with the front of house behavior. The people working the event were not friendly and not kind to the guests, we have heard that from several people who were reluctant to tell us because they didn't want to upset us. They did not check to see if anyone needed anything, didn't smile, and did not have the pleasant demeanor you should have in a service industry. My mom asked them to please box up our extra slices of cake and they said they don't do that, so she asked again and they said fine. The cake we had paid for and had to pay a cutting fee for, was definitely ours and we wanted to take it home. I opened the box to find a bunch of slices just tossed in a box, I guess they were angry to have to do that. Ask for your cake.\rIn the contract it says any food that is out can't be taken home. We had 12 people not show up, so I know all of the food we bought didn't make it out. My mom asked them to box up what was in the back and they once again they said they don't do that, they throw it all away. No restaurant in America does that. Throwing away that much food is a real moral problem with so many hungry and starving people. If in fact we can't take home the food we bought, it shouldn't be going in a dumpster. \rMy day of planner was pleasant when dealing with me but not nice to my mom, who had very small requests considering we had bought all of these things and simply wanted to take what we bought home. She also let someone take one of my table numbers and stand home.\rCarrie, the event planner, was very nice and good to work with, she made it an easy process. We needed a few reserved spots up front and she made that happen.

The staff was super friendly (shout out to Carrie, Sohee, Kelly, and all the folks that made my day amazing). I brought a few personal items to add to the space and the wedding coordinator worked them in beautifully. I didn't have a clear vision for what I wanted my reception to be, but The Design Studio helped me tremendously. I can't remember the man's name that helped me, but what he created was beautiful and I'm glad he had fun with the design. My guests were in awe of the space and had a fabulous time! Great food and the bar drinks were on point! It was great having the bridal room upstairs too. Me and my husband had our meal up there and used the room to change outfits. It was nice having a private bathroom. It was a perfect spring night, so our guests used every inch of the outdoor space. I would recommend this event space a million times over!

There were some minor glitches every step of the way honestly, but in the end, it was magical. Let's start with the bad. So here's the truth--they will nickel and dime you for every little thing. Take my word for it. My wedding director was MIA (inclusive of her \"trainee\") parts of the night where I needed more direction; not my guests. I also had my wedding on a Friday, and a freaking rehearsal was still going on even after the start of my contract time. I just wish it were properly explained to me that a rehearsal would be going on at 6p when my guests start arriving at 7p. I was really improper and we were trying to take pictures. Ok, enough of that. The good. My cake was divine (both of them), people are still talking about the food, and Sara did an AMAZING job on my flowers. I was really worried because I didn't pay to have a mock-up done of a centerpiece, but Sara knows what she is doing. My ceremony was beautiful. Just remember to indicate to your officiant or wedding director whether or not you want your guests to stand or not. If you're having a true evening wedding (meaning it's dark), you will be astounded by how the full lighting package goes a LONG way. It was beautiful. Well, I think I've covered everything. Oh and I didn't use them for my bridal party flowers.

My wedding was this past Saturday (10.18.14) at Flint Hill....and words cannot describe how amazing it was! They were soooo easy to work with from the very beginning! Every question I had, they made sure it was answered quickly. They had told me that we couldn't have guests throw anything when we were leaving for the getaway vehicle; but when I suggested paper planes and offered help cleaning them up, they allowed it to happen! \r\rAs an out-of-state bride, it was so helpful to have a place who did EVERYTHING and was willing to conference call the meetings that I couldn't make it for. \r\rSome key members of the wedding were missing from the rehearsal, but Kelly made sure that everyone who was there was comfortable with how the next day was going to go. And the day of the wedding even ran through it with the people who weren't there for rehearsal. The entire day was a whirlwind, but Kelly acted as both a bodyguard and a source of advice. I'm obsessed with staying on schedule and she let me know how much time we had left at each different segment of the wedding. She honestly made the day go sooo smoothly.\r\rI also used Flint Hill for food, decor, and cake. The cake was AAAAAMAZING (what little I got to eat of it) and it was exactly what i wanted! Because the venue is already so gorgeous, we only added a few personal touches and felt that nothing else was necessary.\r\r\rFIVE STARS! Absolutely no regrets!

I got married at Flint Hill in July 2014 and was beyond happy with this venue. The staff is so friendly and flexible and they really want to help you make your wedding day perfect. The service was great and everything about our experience was positive.

The staff members are incredible, very professional, experienced and organized. They waste no time in the planning process and made everything quite easy for us. One of our biggest concerns was the food. My husband has Celiac Disease, but our wedding coordinator encouraged us to speak with a chef who was very knowledgeable about his strict dietary considerations and put our minds at ease. Everything turned out wonderfully! They take excellent care of their clients and exceeded our expectations. Our wedding day was perfect and the timeline constructed went over smoothly. The food was phenomenal and many of our guests commented on how our wedding was the best and most beautiful one they'd ever been to!

We got married in May and the venue was gorgeous and magical. They also provided the food, cake, flowers and lighting and it came together beautifully. We loved the charm of the house and the sophistication of the ballroom and garden. We would hightly recommend having your wedding and reception there!

We had an evening wedding in the summer - ceremony & reception. It was absolutely perfect & I can say nothing but wonderful things about the food, staff, and venue. The garden lights are pricey but an absolute must have (especially for evening affairs), they truly make the event memorable. We opted for a dual entree (steak and chicken with green beans and grit cake) and everyone was happy!

I chose Flint Hill because it had all of the elements that I wanted including a beautiful outdoor setting by the gazebo, gorgeous front porch for pictures, and a perfect reception room surrounded by windows. Other wedding venues that I visited had one or two elements that I really liked but Flint Hill had it all so I just fell in love with the place. Once I started working with Katie at Flint Hill, she made all of the planning so easy by setting up 2 appointments with me as well as being very available on email and by phone. I also liked the fact that the Design Studio could do all of our flowers and they could do the cake as well. Both of which were fabulous! Also, probably the best part about Flint Hill is their catering. The food was absolutely amazing! People are still talking about it. All in all, Flint Hill was a fabulous wedding venue and I can't say enough good things about the venue and their staff.

My Husband and I got married in January and used Flint Hill for the reception. We chose it for it's southern elegance but as the planning went on I was so glad we picked them because they made planning incredibly easy. We met with them three times and they answered all my questions and were very straight forward. If I wanted to make a change or had a question, they were quick to give me a response, either an email or a phone call. When the day arrived I arrived at flint hill after my ceremony I was at ease. The wedding planner met us as soon as we got there and walked us and the photographer around. After photos she checked on us in or own upstairs room and brought us drinks and water. She kept checking on us throughout the night and kept us informed about what was planned next for the ceremony. We did a sir down dinner and got rave reviews on the food, we did steak and chicken. We had about 160 people, which meant some were in the tent. We didn't get any complaints about the winter chill. I would highly recommend Flint hill. I was super relaxed when the big day came and as a bride that is a great way to feel.

Beautiful venue and everything about my wedding was absolutely lovely. The only problems we had were a few communication problems leading up to the wedding. They lost our contract at one point, they miss-scheduled a meeting, and then at the wedding we were supposed to have pinot noir and chardonay and they had two red wines and no white wines. They fixed this at the wedding and were very apologetic about all mistakes. \r\rAgain, overall, everything was wonderful!

My flowers were impeccable, the venue stunning, the staff exceptional and the food out of this world amazing. Absolutely 5 Star Restaurant quality food. Guests are still raving about it. One thing I've learned this year is that a Wedding is like a tattoo: it stays with you forever. The second thing I've learned is you don't want a cheap tattoo like you don't want a cheap wedding...YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. These memories are an investment and I'm thankful I chose Flint Hill. While they're not the cheapest venue in town, they're way less expensive than any venue I toured in downtown Atlanta by A LOT and the value of what you get is unbelievable. When I initially toured I was scared it was going to be so expensive for this magnificent place and was so elated and relieved when the Sales Director sat me down to go over the proposal. You cannot go wrong with this venue.
