Located in Saint Louis, MO, Forest Park Golf Course is a wedding venue known for its scenic surroundings, consistent and efficient service, and ease of planning with inclusive packages. FACILITIES AND CAPACITY Located in the iconic Forest Park, we are able to accommodate up to 240 guests with a dancefloor in our main banquet space, the Champions Room. Our main entrance connects to the famous Greenery Trellis, leading you right out to our outdoor ceremony space, the South Patio. This 240-person space is surrounded with updated landscaping and comes equipped with a built-in wood frame arbor and white folding ceremony chairs. Our favorite part about this venue is the covered Veranda, typically used for cocktail hour, but open to your guests all night to enjoy and relax. Forest park golf course was an amazing ceremony and reception spot. From viewing the venue and eventually booking it everything in between went smooth. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot and the food was amazing. We had around 200 people and it didn’t feel overcrowded. We got lucky with weather so people were able to hang outside and use the satellite bar which was a great add on feature. All our guests were so impressed with the venue itself and the food, don’t miss out on booking!

We had our wedding reception at Forest Park Golf Course on 11-18-23 and Shelbi was our event coordinator. Shelbi was absolutely incredible!!! She was so organized, responsive, and detail oriented from the first email, to the last. She always had great recommendations how to fill the space for our reception and made me feel at ease with the planning process. Shelbi helped make my timeline making sure the reception ran smoothly, set up the room with all of the decorations, and coordinated with all of my vendors. All of her hard work allowed me to skip hiring a wedding planner or day of coordinator because she did everything they could have done, but even better because she knows the space so well! She executed our vision for the day down to every little detail. The room was absolutely beautiful and her recommendations filled the space perfectly. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly, the drinks were excellent, and the staff was quick and friendly. The staff also helped us with the clean up at the end of the night. We were so impressed and pleased with Shelbi and the entire Forest Park Golf Course staff! We still have friends and family raving over the reception!

Such a beautiful venue! Shelbi was very responsive to all our questions and planning throughout the process as well as facilitating set up with vendors and decor on the day of the wedding. The staff did a great job of accommodating a multitude of dietary restrictions and the food was great too!

We love love loved our venue, and we loved our entire experience working with everyone on the team! We started working with Sloane and she was a rockstar! Our day of coordinator, Shelbi, was amazing! She was so organized and so helpful throughout the whole process and our whole day. 10/10 can recommend this space and this crew for your day to go off without a hitch. Icing on the cake- the food is all my guests still talk about from our wedding (which, as a lover of food, is the best compliment I have gotten from our day.)

This venue was quite literally the most perfect location for our special day. Shelbi was an absolute ROCKSTAR helping with literally every single detail throughout the whole process. Lexi seriously made the whole process as stress free as possible from the very beginning! She answered all of our million questions, met with us in person more than once, and ensured we had nothing to worry about on our wedding day except getting married. Herschel and his team at our reception were incredible. They were extremely friendly and accommodating to us and our guests. They were always available but never intrusive and honestly treated everyone like a friend. We had a bit of a snafu with the seating chart (our mistake, not theirs) and Lexi handled it like the boss she is. We probably wouldn't have even known there was an issue had we not been told. It is the perfect space for medium to larger weddings (we had around 170 guests) and the walls of windows make the room feel even bigger. Using the golf school room for the buffet meant nothing needed to be broken down in front of guests or before we could open the dance floor. The outdoor space is exceptional, and despite cold weather our guests were still able to enjoy it because of the heaters. Plus the windows allowed anybody outside to still feel like they're part of the action. I honestly could go on and on about how great everything was and how we felt so taken care of!

Going with Forest Park Golf Course was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and reception. Lexi was a huge part of this. She was always available to answer questions, help with vendors, and coordinate at the venue the day of. You can't go wrong with this venue. The space for the ceremony and reception is gorgeous and the food is delicious. Lexi guided us through the whole process and worked with us from start to finish. Cannot recommend this venue more!

I definitely recommend this venue to every couple that is planning their wedding! My husband and I knew we wanted to get married here the second we walked through the door. The outdoor space was perfect and the backdrop of the golf course behind the altar makes for beautiful photos during the wedding! Our guests complimented us on how naturally beautiful the venue is. The fireplace and brick walls really stand out and give the venue an extremely classy feel. We have received SO MANY compliments on the food during our wedding as well. My husband and I still talk about wanting to go back there to have one last wedding meal! :) I want to give a special shout out to Lexi and the staff at FPGC. From the beginning, Lexi was extremely responsive to emails, was very detailed oriented, and helped us with our vision of the perfect wedding day. Lexi even gave us a few words of wisdom and made us feel so comfortable with the planning process. Her and the staff were there to set up our decor on the day of and I had full confidence in them to make things incredible for us! The bartenders and staff really gave us peace of mind on our wedding day that everything would go smooth. They always had a smile on their face and someone was always asking if we needed anything! It really takes a village to plan and execute a wedding and the folks at FPGC really deserve the highest recognition. Please consider this venue for your wedding. It'll be one of the best decisions you'll make!

We met Sloane, she walked us around, and we fell in love with The Champions Room for our son's upcoming Wedding Rehearsal Dinner in the Fall of 2022. Sloane threw the ball and Shelbi ran it in for the touchdown! Along with Herschel's direction, the entire staff, venue, food, and service were outstanding! They were so detailed and so quick to respond to every question, and with always a pleasant and happy attitude. This was the best place to host our event for sure. My daughter's wedding at FP Golf Course was the absolute best! Lexi was the hidden gem of the whole event who coordinated everything with enthusiasm, kindness and a professionalism you don't see very often. Everyone was so professional and welcoming and completely put my mind at ease in the entire reception-planning process. Shelbi, the on-site wedding coordinator, handled all of the day-of details perfectly, and she went the extra mile to make sure everything was decorated just how I wanted it! I can’t say enough good things about this venue. Our wedding reception was absolutely magical. Lexi was our coordinator and she is an absolute gem! She made our night so beautiful and we can’t thank her enough! Who needs a wedding planner when you have Lexi! I absolutely recommend this wonderful venue! It has it all, with indoor & outdoor space, convenience to St. Louis landmarks, hotels & highways. Lots of options with friendly, professional and hard working staff. Food is good and presented well. Event space is updated and sophisticated. The best part of this venue is the Private Events Coordinator Lexie Parks. She is a gem and makes the planning experience much easier! Lexie is friendly, upbeat, knowledgeable and always available to answer a question, offer an opinion or make a last minute change. The Saturday night of our wedding reception was the 4th event of the weekend for Lexie, that also included a Saturday morning wedding & reception. When we arrived at our reception, everything was set up per our instructions and looked awesome. Our experience was positive from beginning to end! We surprised our daughter&son in law with fireworks, if in your budget, it makes the night and there couldn't be a prettier setting. Finally, our guests raved about how much fun they had and how pretty the venue was, one said on a scale of 1-10, it was a 15.

The best decision we made during our wedding planning was booking our reception at the Forest Park Golf Course! It is such a beautiful space, in a great location, and has everyone you need during your wedding day. The food was great, the bar service was quick, and everyone enjoyed having access to the patio during the reception. They even put on the Mizzou Football game for my husband and father-in-law. The best part about our reception was working with Lexi and her team! My mom and I loved working with Lexi!! She is so responsive and easy to get a hold of! Lexi is such a great resource for advice and did an excellent job helping us plan our reception. They put everything together exactly like we had planned. We did not have wedding planner so having Lexi was such a huge help! She even helped take care of our rude, unprofessional videographer. Thank you again Lexi for everything!!

It is such a beautiful space, in a great location, and has everyone you need during your wedding day. The food was great, the bar service was quick, and everyone enjoyed having access to the patio during the reception. They even put on the Mizzou Football game for my husband and father-in-law. The best part about our reception was working with Lexi and her team! My mom and I loved working with Lexi!! She is so responsive and easy to get a hold of! Lexi is such a great resource for advice and did an excellent job helping us plan our reception. They put everything together exactly like we had planned. We did not have wedding planner so having Lexi was such a huge help! She even helped take care of our rude, unprofessional videographer. Thank you again Lexi for everything!!

We were able to also work with the bar manager to ensure we had special bourbon brands. The entire staff could not have done a better job. We get compliments still on how beautiful and great our reception was and yet it was more affordable than others. What’s even better is it’s located right by where we spent all our time doing photos so it was very convenient for our day-of schedule. The location is also great for guests since there’s ample parking and centrally located for Uber’s/lyfts. I can’t imagine a better place for our reception!

The venue was absolutely beautiful - we had our ceremony on the outside patio (we somehow lucked out with an overcast 80 degree day in August in STL!) and the reception inside the venue. We had a served dinner which was delicious - we had so many compliments on the food afterwards from our guests. I'd recommend this venue to anyone - we are so thankful we chose to have our wedding here!

The planning process was very easy. We met with the event coordinator for our initial meeting, food tasting, and 3-month meeting. She was always very responsive. About a month before our wedding, a new coordinator was hired. She was also helpful and responsive. We were able to drop off decorations Thursday/Friday before which made things way easier. After our off-site ceremony, our moms and the staff set everything up. That part was also a breeze! We give FPGC 4/5 stars instead of the full 5 because dinner took a very long time to be served which cut into time for other things. With a wedding of our size (215), we expected it to take a while and even asked about it, but it still took longer than anticipated which led to frustrations among vendors and some hungry guests. Overall, we had a great experience. FPGC took a lot of the stress out of planning our wedding. Everyone had a blast, loved the views of the venue, and enjoyed the food. Thank you FPGC!

The planning process was very easy. We met with the event coordinator for our initial meeting, food tasting, and 3-month meeting. She was always very responsive. About a month before our wedding, a new coordinator was hired. She was also helpful and responsive. We were able to drop off decorations Thursday/Friday before which made things way easier. After our off-site ceremony, our moms and the staff set everything up. That part was also a breeze! We give FPGC 4/5 stars instead of the full 5 because dinner took a very long time to be served which cut into time for other things. With a wedding of our size (215), we expected it to take a while and even asked about it, but it still took longer than anticipated which led to frustrations among vendors and some hungry guests. Overall, we had a great experience. FPGC took a lot of the stress out of planning our wedding. Everyone had a blast, loved the views of the venue, and enjoyed the food. Thank you FPGC!

We had our wedding at Forest Park Golf course and cannot say enough good things. The ceremony space was stunning on the patio overlooking the greens and the clubhouse was the perfect space for our reception. Big enough that we didn't feel squished yet small enough that the room didn't feel empty. We had just under 200 guests at our wedding. The food was phenomenal and the wait staff was superb. However the shining star was their coordinator, McKinley. Without McKinley, this wedding would not have been possible honestly. She is very professional and extremely accommodating, she answers emails promptly and with much detail so there were never any unanswered questions. I must have emailed her 60+ times in the weeks leading up to the wedding and she never once seemed annoyed or bothered. She was gracious and helpful and is extremely detail oriented so I knew I could trust her to set up all of my decor on the big day. She put out our aisle signs, centerpieces, place cards, memory table, dessert decor, welcome sign, head table decor, guest book and more. Each piece was placed with care and the reception room looked stunning. It was truly the wedding of my dreams and I am so grateful to McKinley for helping out so much. 10 out of 10, would recommend Forest Park Golf Course for your wedding!

We had our wedding at Forest Park Golf course and cannot say enough good things. They helped to make our February wedding reception even more perfect than we could have ever imagined + went over and above to ensure our day went smoothly! I was so comforted to know that McKinley was there to make sure that the “behind the scenes” were taken care of and was so incredibly grateful when she went out of her way to ensure my new husband + I were doing okay throughout the evening, too! McKinley’s staff is just INCREDIBLE! Our family + friends adore “H” (Herschel) who worked the bar and everyone was raving about how delicious the food was! The Forest Park Golf Course is a hidden gem in Forest Park to have your wedding and/or reception. The staff is amazing and makes it very easy to have your wedding and reception in one spot. They offer a great cocktail hour with some of the best appetizers for your guests if you want to utilize the entire venue. From the time we arrived, until the end of the event the staff provided excellent service, coordinated the decorating, directed the wedding party and made our wedding better than we could have imagined! It was spacious, but not too empty and the interior was recently updated. The packages they offer were very reasonably priced for what is included, which is one of the reasons we chose FPGC in the first place. Amy and McKinley were both so helpful and accommodating with any special requests, were open to new ideas, and made set up and clean up on our wedding day stress free. The bartenders and waiters the night of were great as well. Our only complaint is that dinner was served about 20 minutes later than planned, which cut into dancing time and created a little bit of unexpected down time during the reception. But the food was delicious and worth the wait - the portions were also way larger than we were expecting, which was a pleasant surprise! Overall, we'd definitely recommend FPGC!

We were pleased with the staff, the organization of the event, as well as Amy Milne, who diligently worked with us to ensure our wedding matched our dreams and our budget. We had many close family and friends tell us it was the best wedding food they have ever had! If you are looking for an affordable, beautiful spot in Forest Park this is it! Guests can enjoy the outside area if the noise of the DJ becomes too overwhelming, and my husband and I enjoyed taking photos on the golf course at twilight. Our wedding was a dream!

Our experience with the Forest Park Golf Course and the team involved there was wonderful. Amy Milne was awesome to work with. She was very upfront, transparent, and yet totally accommodating. McKinley was also very helpful and service-oriented. The food was delicious--we had sort of a picnic buffet theme we customized with FPGC. All our guests enjoyed the venue and the event. We utilized the outdoor patio in addition to the banquet room and it worked very well. I would encourage anyone shopping for a wedding reception site to make an appointment and check it out.

Do you want to experience as much stress as possible on your wedding? If so this is the place for you. When me and my wife decided to get married at the norman probstein golf course in forest park at first we were very happy. Everything was clicking and coming together. It all went downhill when in the middle they changed our wedding coordinator on us. Our first coordinator Amy was awesome and very accommodating of what we wanted in order to create our dream wedding. However due to the wedding rush we got changed to Liz. This was the worst thing that could have happened. She was very rude the entire time and spoke to me and my wife with an attitude. It wasn’t until our rush week that her true colors really stared to show. She attempted to charge us over $1000.00 3 days before the wedding for a pricing mistake she made. Then instead of owning up to the mistake she attempted to blame us for her own miscalculation. Talk about stress and anxiety! We had to call her out and threaten to go over her head to get her to honor the initial price provided. Unfortunately, the problems we had did not end there.During the rehearsal for the wedding despite being informed time and time again that Liz would be there to help us walk through the ceremony timeline Liz was no where to be seen and we were stuck outside with not even the lights left on. This was very disappointing as we as a group were very confused. We do not perform weddings day in and day out. This goes on to the day of the wedding where she was asking me, my wife, and the entire bridal party where people are suppose to be. If she was at the rehearsal as promised she would have known where everyone was suppose to be and how we wanted everyone to walk down. This caused even more stress on my wife which is unnecessary for a bride who has enough to deal with the day of her wedding. Liz had no concern for anything that we wanted only the timeline of events. She was very rude to everyone the entire day. She made promises that were not honored during our big day and was continually disrespectful to myself, my wife, our bridal party, and even our parents to the extent that she went up to the mother of the bride and told her that we were rude because the bridal party was running late taking photo’s. While she may do wedding’s every weekend we do not and wanted to make sure that we captured our day and did not miss out on any photo opportunities as we only get one shot at a perfect weeding. My husband and I got married a week before we had our reception at home. Amy and the entire staff at FPGC were so accommodating to all of our requests. Even though we were very laid back they made sure to keep us in the loop of any changes that would possibly happen. As far as affordability and quality I would recommend this place to anyone looking to host a party. The venue was beautiful. Our guest really enjoyed the food. They even made sure that I (the bride) got a special meal the day of. We had a July 3rd reception which fell right during Fair St. Louis. When that first came up Amy assured us that there would be no issues that day. She was right. With the exception of our videographer, which was at no fault of the staff at the venue, our vendors had no issue getting into the venue. I wish I could relive our reception every weekend. Thank you for making our special day amazing!!

I am the first person I know to have a wedding at Norman K Probstein golf course. Now I must say I have set the bar at a new level. This venue is beautiful inside and out. Amy and Liz were wonderful to work with, everything they promised, they delivered. The food was delicious, ambiance beautiful, staff were nice and energetic! The packages available are very budget friendly- I can't believe I was so blessed to find this venue. This venue is so wonderful, I just had a friend book it for her wedding next year!

Cannot say enough good things about the golf course, their staff and especially Amy & Liz! They all had such an important part in making my wedding day literally the best day! The room is unbelievably beautiful & transforms into an amazing venue for a wedding. The staff couldn't have been more helpful or fun during the night. Amy and Liz help so much during the entire process! Take their suggestions - even if you're unsure, they are always spot on! Everything from the ceremony to the reception was just flawless and perfect! The food was delicious! I've gotten so many compliments on the day!

We had such an amazing experience at the Forest Park Golf Course Clubhouse. The staff were amazing to work with, and they were able to answer any and all questions we had at any time during the process. The venue is absolutely gorgeous! The lighting was just right for our evening wedding. The main room was set up beautifully, great sized dance floor, and the outdoor terrace was perfect for our guests! The food is absolutely amazing, and we thoroughly enjoyed our tasting prior to the wedding! The Clubhouse truly set the stage for our elegant wedding!! We are forever grateful to them!

Had a great time working with this venue to plan my ceremony and reception. Amy was always very quick to respond to my emails and Gloria and Herschel were wonderful the day of. Of all the venues I looked at, I don't think this was the most beautiful - but it did offer everything I wanted for the most reasonable price I could find. \r\rI agree with the other commenter that the tastings aren't very accomadating. Most of my bride friends got private tastings of entiree menus, so I was expecting that. However, they do group tastings of just a few dishes. BUT everything we tasted was great and gave me enough confidence that whatever I picked on the menu would be good (it was!). They also worked to make a delicious meal for vegan and vegetarians the day of. \r\rVery pleased with their work! They made the day lovely.

Forest Park Golf Course was an amazing experience every step of the way! From looking for a venue, to pricing, to display, to food - you name it and they followed through. Amy, director of catering sales, was very helpful and is able to tailor any of their packages to meet your price range. Nikki, catering events coordinator, is there for you every step of the way! What they tell you is what happens; there were no hidden fees or anything like that.\rThe food is AMAZING! We had a plated dinner with cod, chicken piccatta, and cheese manicotti as the choices. My husband had the cod, which was a generous portion, and he said it was cooked to perfection. I had the chicken piccatta and it was moist and flavorful. They cook the food right there, so you don't have to worry about a caterer cooking food at another location and transporting it in. Their chef knows what he's doing!\rThe venue is just gorgeous! We had simple decor because their venue is just so gorgeous. The floor to ceiling windows will go with a simple decor or a more elegant arrangement.\rThe dance floor was the perfect size for our 200+ guests. It looked small at first, but that was actually deceiving. Once everyone got out there it was perfect!

Amazing experience, beautiful reception, the staff is very friendly and helpful. My husband and I continue to recieve compliments on the food weeks after, even my vendors said it was some of the best wedding food they have ever had! Hats off to the Chef!

Overall: Forest Park was a wonderful place for a reception. \r\rUpsides: the terrace was incredibly beautiful so that our guests could be outside during the cocktail hour (this is what really sold us on the location) and the proximity to beautiful locations in Forest Park for pictures was also a huge plus (we took pictures at the waterfall across the street and at the Grand Basin--definitely a good way to go if you're pressed for time in your pictures as we were). They did a great job of working with us when a golf tournament was scheduled the day of our wedding, and ended up moving the tournament, which was a huge relief. They were also very accommodating when we wanted to leave all of the parts of our centerpieces there a few days before the reception to be set up that day. They were very helpful about setting things up and storing everything for us until the day of. We got a lot of compliments on the food overall (see other comments below) and I definitely enjoyed it. Their staff were also very nice about letting us stay a bit later in the evening after our event had officially ended as people were saying goodbye (my husband and I moved internationally right after our wedding so there were a lot of goodbyes going on), and really let us stay for almost a whole hour after the event was over with no complaints or trying to move us along, which was wonderful. \r\rDownsides: they were a bit unwilling to work with us on getting a tasting (apparently they usually do one per year and expect their potential clients to all come at once). They were willing to let us share a tasting date with another client (no big deal) but asked us which of the dinner options we would like to taste (the point of a tasting is to be able to taste several options and choose one, right?). They were also fairly difficult about working with one of my bridesmaids who has severe food allergies. Normally she just goes for the vegetarian/vegan option, but their vegetarian option included cheese (one of the things she's allergic to), and they told her she could bring her own food that they would heat up. This was disappointing for how much we paid for food. There were also some mix-ups with delivering the right types of meals to the right people, despite the labeled name cards that I made per their instructions (for instance, my vegetarian cousins got kids' meals instead). Lastly, they were unwilling to serve drinks to the bridal party during dinner. The bar is closed during dinner (we were aware of this), but we had been assured that they could put drinks on the head table for the bridal party since we were taking pictures during the cocktail hour and wouldn't have had a chance to get a drink before the bar closed. They served me but refused to serve my bridesmaids, which was a little disappointing.\r\rAgain, overall, everything was completely wonderful. The small hitches are things that I assume happens at all weddings and if these are the biggest problems at your wedding, you're doing fine. Many of these things probably went unnoticed by most except the wedding party, my parents, and me.

We had such a great experience with Forest Park. The food and beverage manager, Hershell, is outstanding!! Beautiful venue! I think that the event coordinators at this venue need to be more attentive. I am a very laid back bride and they either took advantage of that or are not very attentive with all of their weddings. It was very nice that Hershell stepped up to the plate for them. :)

Forest Park Golf Course was a wonderful place to have a wedding. The facility was gorgeous, and the Event coordinator Amy Milne was a pleasure to work with. All of our guests said they had never had food as delicious at a wedding before. For the most part, the other staff was helpful, but we did have a couple of misscommunications throughout the process. On the other hand though, the staff made sure it was all fixed, and the actual day was perfect! I would reccommend this venue to my friends overall.

Amy Milne, coordinator was friendly. Was happy with the location itself, was just a little shocked when I received my invoice. When I received the invoice it was $5000 more than what my budget was. I was unaware that this was going to be the price and by the time I received the invoice (which was the first time I received any invoice at all) and by this time I was told that it was too late to make any changes. Also, I was supposed to get champagne for the head table which I never received. Food was good, just a little overpriced.

I would highly recommend this venue. The Venue coordinator Amy, is absolutely fabulous. We had changed our minds a million times and they were always willing to work with us! The food could not have been any better! Overall I can't think of a more picture perfect venue.

The Golf Clubhouse was the perfect place for my september wedding because we could use both the indoor/outdoor area. Everyone loved hanging out outside when the sun went down. Great food, and Amy the coordinator is amazing! Beautiful and unique place!

The openess and view from the room. Very easy to get in and out of.Parking was easy and plentifull. Management and staff were couteours and very accomodating. Food was out of this world. Everything was first class.

The windows are floor to ceiling and the patio runs the length of the building (both sides). The view of the Golf Course is pretty. The staff was excellent. People are still talking how it was great!
