Our wedding coordinator, Bobbie Jo, was the very best. If you decide to do a wedding package at Forsyth Park Inn, you are in great hands and will be well taken care of. She goes through every possible detail you can think of to make sure your wedding is how you envision it and she is such a joy to talk to. The other staff at Forsyth are just as great and the inn is beautiful. The rooms are spacious. We did the Grand Savannah Package and could not be any happier, it was perfect. The package comes with a lot of things, including renting out the inn for your guests, a bridal bouquet, a wedding cake, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries… this is just some of the stuff. I’d recommend Bobbie Jo and Forsyth Park Inn to any bride. We had an amazing experience. I will miss working and planning my big day with her.

Asking my now wife to marry me was the easy part, arranging a marriage was not! With me, now living in the USA and needing to arrange this day was, to say the least, very uncomfortable! Beyond my experience! My wife lives in Europe, so this completely fell on me. It would have been a complete disaster if it were not for Bobbie Jo and Weddings at Forsyth Park Inn helping with the process! What a wonderful experience provided by them! Savannah itself is a dream, and the location is so wonderful and romantic. The Inn is right across the street from the incredibly beautiful Forsyth Park. Having the ceremony at the Historic Forsyth Park Inn was fantastic! All details were managed by them, and all we had to do was to simply show up. Our whole party stayed at the Inn, and our honeymoon was there as well. This was such a convenience for us, as it allowed us to just focus on our special day, our family and friends, and they handled all of the details. Truly a wonderful experience!

Forsyth Park Inn was absolutely amazing for us! We did the elopement package and had a very small intimate ceremony with family and it was perfect. The location is fantastic, you are in an awesome part of the city. Everything is very walkable but you don't have the craziness of River Street. Bobbie Jo was seriously wonderful! Not only was everything planned well but our photographer had to cancel the night before because of an emergency. She stepped in and took great photos! She undersold herself, they turned out great!Would highly recommend and the other staff were great as well

Forsyth Park Inn is a beautiful, romantic Inn blessed with the epitome of Southern hospitality across from a lovely, enchanted park. A perfect place for a wedding. Bobbie Jo, the in house wedding coordinator, was on point with every aspect of planning your day and stay at the Inn. Not only was she extremely responsive and helpful, she completed our day right down to the tiniest of details. She, Dwayne and Gary made it a lovely, memorable day. You will not be disappointed in anything there. It was a like out of a dream for us. They are all wonderful.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about The Forsyth Park Inn. Everything from the stay, the wedding, the food all was above and beyond! The inn was very clean and very quiet. We had no disturbances during our stay nor our ceremony. The staff was INCREDIBLE! Bobbie Jo helped me every step of the way with the wedding and was always a call or email away. She made things so easy and hassle free and was definitely the voice of reason when I started getting anxious for any reason. Our ceremony on site was beautiful and I could not have asked for more! If you are getting married in Savannah or even honeymooning check out The Forsyth Park Inn they do not disappoint!

I had found Forsyth Park Inn online by searching for destination weddings. We immediately fell in love with the idea of being married near the park and we are so happy with our decision; I wish we could relive our wedding day all over again. Bobbie Jo was immensely helpful from the very beginning. She gave me a list of preferred vendors (photographers, hair and makeup and even music) along with recommended restaurants nearby for rehearsal dinner or reception dinner. This was amazing considering we live several states away. She even helped me with things I never even thought of. The staff was also extremely welcoming and helpful. The wedding was fantastic! Setup and planning were excellent. The ceremony went as planned and was everything we were expecting. The only downside was the room the couple stays in was not very clean. There is not enough positive things we can say about the staff at the Forsyth Park Inn to clearly explain how amazing they are. Bobbie Jo is an amazing wedding coordinator and a genuinely wonderful person to work with. She made the entire process seemless which is not the easiest thing to do in the middle of a global pandemic. Bobbie Jo was always there willing to listen when things got stressful and willing to help with anything we might need in planning our perfect day. Upon our arrival Bobbie Jo was on it. The rehearsal was run smoothly and clearly and everyone knew what to do even our 5 year old nephew. The day of our wedding was nothing short of a dream. Bobbie Jo and the staff at the Forsyth Park Inn set everything up beautifuly and ran the ceremony and cocktail hour perfectly. We couldnot have asked for a more perfect venue, staff, and wedding day. The Forsyth Park Inn truly goes above and beyond to make your special day extrodinary. We look forward to our next trip to Savannah as the Forsyth Park Inn is now very much our home away from home!

From start to finish Bobbie Jo and the staff at the Forsyth Park Inn made our wedding journey the easiest and most wonderful time. They all genuinely wanted to make sure we had the best day possible. One of the things I really enjoyed was getting to stay at the Inn the night before and the night of the wedding. It made everything much less stressful! On the day of the wedding the male concierge, whose name is escaping me at the moment, even helped my now husband tie his tie correctly and then kept me company as I waited to go down the stairs. Aside from the wonderful staff, the Inn itself is gorgeous and gives that timeless Savannah style. The photos from our day really speak for themselves. If I could do it over again I wouldn’t hesitate to pick the Inn and Bobbie Jo.

If you are looking for a beautiful venue, someone to help you organize a beautiful intimate wedding and a STRESS FREE wedding day, then Forsyth Park Inn is where you should be. Bobbie Jo was there to help us plan from start to finish and made the entire experience so easy and relaxing. We were able to take deep breath and just enjoy our wedding day. When small issues came up, Bobbie Jo was extremely responsive, helpful and empathetic to our needs. Everyone of the staff at the Inn was friendly and helpful. This was our second visit to Forsyth Park Inn -- the first was a trip 2 years ago that we loved so much that when it came time to plan our wedding, returning to the Inn was a natural choice that has now cemented this place and the people who run it in our memories forever.

Met with Bobbie Jo (our wedding coordinator) for rehearsals which made the big day flow splendidly. The day of the wedding we had breakfast plated for us while we sat rocking on the veranda looking out over Forsyth park. Literally everything from that morning to that evening was magical. Bobbie Jo checked on me throughout the process and kept things on track. She also took candid photos! Just so sweet. After the wedding ceremony and reception though we came back to the Inn and we were served champagne and chocolate covered strawberries and enjoyed the jacuzzi tub (perfect after a long day). Would highly highly recommend.

When we decided to elope to Savannah and started to check out venues, Forsyth Park Inn caught our eye right away. It is a beautiful, historic home and seemed like the perfect destination. We were right! From our first contact, to finalizing wedding details, to check in, the big day and beyond; the staff went above and 1beyond all of our expectations. When we decided to elope to Savannah and started to check out venues, Forsyth Park Inn caught our eye right away. It is a beautiful, historic home and seemed like the perfect destination. We were right! From our first contact, to finalizing wedding details, to check in, the big day and beyond; the staff went above and 1beyond all of our expectations. The inn is literally across the street from famous Forsyth Park which was another plus in that after pictures in the charming courtyard, we simply walked across the street to the park for more amazing pictures. We have always loved coming to Savannah and Forsyth Park is one of my favorite places to visit on Savannah so being able to get married so close to Forsyth Park was a dream come true! All of the staff at Forsyth Park Inn were absolutely amazing and made sure the wedding went perfectly. Bobbie Jo was absolutely amazing to work with and made sure every detail was perfect. We live out of town so all of our communication had to be done via email or telephone. Bobbie Jo always responded in a timely manner with any questions we had and was able to take care of everything from ordering our wedding cake and flowers to making sure everything was delivered to the appropriate location. She made planning our wedding stress free! If anyone is looking to get married in Savannah, Forsyth Park Inn should be at the top of the list! Communication is always key when planning something amazing & the coordinator at the Inn is exceptional at her job. She wasn't able to be there for my actual wedding day (she was a little busy having a baby), but the Manager and other staff were there to make sure everything was perfect....and it really was! I can't say enough about this location. The rooms are spectacular, the food to die for & the service we all received from the staff impeccable! My wedding was held in the garden and it was simply the most beautiful setting. Most of my guests had rooms at the Inn too. I'm serious when I say the Inn staff knew where my guests were whenever I was looking for them--it was wonderful! They became friends/family very quickly that weekend. Everyone worked so hard to give us the most amazing day & it couldn't have been better. Everything was seamless & taken care of....I was a Bride with no worries at all; they thought of everything so I didn't have to. Our wedding was perfect & it is truly thanks to Forsyth Park Inn, the owners & everyone working there! We wanted a small, simple, southern, wedding and The Forsyth Park Inn did just that! Dwayne and Bobby Jo were a HUGE help and a big part of our wedding day. Our families loved them as much as we did! They made sure we didn’t haven’t to worry about anything the morning before our ceremony! We couldn’t have asked for a better day!

Forsyth Park Inn was the perfect place for my wedding. The Inn and courtyard is gorgeous with all the unique southern charm that you would expect. Bobbie Jo is the wedding coordinator at the Inn. This wedding was a destination wedding for me, and Bobbie Jo helped me with every detail of the wedding. She made sure that everything was perfect. I didn't stress at all knowing that she was taking care of everything. She was quick to respond to any of my questions and was a great help to keep everything on track. The Forsyth Park located across the street from the Inn was also a great location for the wedding pictures. I would highly recommend the Forsyth Park Inn for a wedding destination. All of the staff was also friendly, accommodating and extremely helpful during our stay.

Our wedding was exactly how we wanted, beautiful, fun, and stress free. The wedding coordinator took all the stress off of me by handling every detail. We got to take their wedding package and tweak it to what fit me and my husband. The food was delicious and elegantly displayed.

We had the most perfect wedding weekend at the Forsyth Park Inn. I cannot recommend the inn enough for a beautiful, intimate wedding. Bobbie Jo, John, Dwayne and the entire staff is a true pleasure to work with. Bobbie Jo was so helpful throughout the entire planning process and everything came together better than we could have ever hoped. The courtyard and flowers were gorgeous for the wedding. Bobbie Jo arranged for the cake to be delivered to our reception dinner location and it was delicious. We had family and friends stay at the inn as well and they were all so pleased with the breakfast, rooms and overall comfort of the inn. We enjoyed every second and cannot thank the Forsyth Park Inn enough for all of the wonderful memories!

We went with the Grand Savannah wedding package and are so glad we did. Bobbie Jo - wedding Coordinator - took care of everything! I told her want I wanted and she made it happen! All of our guests were in awe at how beautiful and comfortable everything was, from the time they arrived, until the time they left. If I could give 10 stars I would! I can't possibly recommend enough. If I had it to do over again - I would choose Forsyth Park Inn again and again.

The team at Forsyth was perfect from day one. They were extremely responsive and helped me feel comfortable as an out of town bride. Not only is the Inn charming in appearance but it also has a charming team to keep in running smoothly. The breakfast was great every day.. for our wedding day Dwayne was thinking of the details before we did and everything flowed perfectly! He went out of his way for us!!

Not only is the Inn charming in appearance but it also has a charming team to keep in running smoothly. I cannot say enough good things about the Forsyth Park Inn. Bobbie Jo, John, and Dwayne are just wonderful at what they do. We did not use a wedding planner, but Bobbie Jo arranged everything for us including the florist, cake, and day of coordination. We also had several people staying at the inn for our wedding and they could not have been more welcoming and accommodating to all of us. We enjoyed every minute of our wedding weekend that we spent there!

I'd like to begin by saying how surprised I am this place has so few reviews! It's incredible. Seriously. My new husband and I threw together an intimate wedding on about four months notice and a modest budget when life threw a wrench in our original plans for a big wedding in the fall. We couldn't have been happier with our experience at the Forsyth Park Inn.From the moment we got in touch with the Forsyth Park Inn, we were at ease with our decision. We were planning long-distance, and every call that we made was answered warmly with great information and attention to our needs and preferences. The venue provided us with a list of vendors, but were more than capable of keeping up with all of our details, even though we chose a makeup artist and photographer who weren't on their list. If you choose the Forsyth Park Inn, do keep in mind that their packages come with a coordinator, not a planner, so you will need to make the calls and send the emails for any outside vendors yourself.As for the venue itself, we could not have asked for more, and our guests LOVED the place. We booked all but two of the rooms for three days, and the entire staff kept us comfortable, relaxed, and well-fed throughout our stay. I was a bit of an anxious bride, and having such great hospitality from Duane and the gang really took the pressure off. Meals were served promptly and were absolutely delicious, and there were always glasses of cold water or tea and snacks for our guests when they stopped in for a respite from the Savannah heat. The grounds were gorgeous and well kept, and each room is clean impeccably decorated. Above having a great environment for our guests, Andrea was a wonderful asset on the day of. She's not a commanding presence--I've not been involved in the planning process for many weddings, and for some reason I had an idea that a wedding coordinator would be like a general barking out orders to battalions of vendors. I didn't see much of her on the day of, but when I did, she was quick and direct with her questions, and very unobtrusive. It was only after the fact that I realized how many little fires she and Duane had put out without my even knowing, which on a day when things are happening so quickly is EXACTLY what you want. There weren't many hiccups (none of which could be attributed to the Inn), and Andrea and the team handled each one quickly and professionally. We couldn't have asked for better. That's not even to mention how great the GORGEOUS photos.In closing, if you're looking for an intimate spot for a wedding in the Savannah area, look no further than the Forsyth Park Inn!

My husband and I got married at The Forsyth Park Inn over the summer, and it exceeded our expectations!! We could not imagine getting married anywhere else. It was so wonderful to have everything provided I.e. Flowers, cake, officiant. It made the day way less stressful, and the staff at the inn are very nice and accommodating! On top of all that the scenery is so beautiful! There are so many great places in and around the inn for photographs! I highly recommend this as a wedding and reception venue!

we were looking for an intimate place to say our \"I dos\" and we found it at the Forsyth Park Inn. I even managed to mess up our registration for the rooms, but the staff were quick to correct it and made it stress-free. Since it was a our first time in Savannah, the staff, especially Crazy (his own nickname) Bowtie Jerry, who recommended some good places to eat. The setting was quiet in the back and despite a full house at the inn, no disturbance during the ceremony. We'll definitely follow up our visit again for a renewal of vows in the future.

I absolutely loved Forsyth Park as my ceremony venue - its gorgeous and makes for gorgeous pictures! However, the city is so difficult. Chris, in charge of scheduling, is pretty rude. It took about three mix ups on his part to finally secure my day and time - he literally told me I couldn't have it after I had sent out my invitations...he had \"looked at the wrong date on his calendar\" - and never apologized. If you chose to use Forsyth, or any Savannah public park or square, just make sure you're on top of things yourself!

We had our elopement wedding in April at the Forsyth Park Inn. With the help of the assigned wedding coordinator, Andrea, it turned out to be really wonderful. She had arranged all our needs, all we really needed was to show up. The room where we stayed was lovely with all amenities, breakfast was superb and the location is right in front of the Forsyth Park Square. We wish to go back on our first wedding anniversary.
