Plan An Event That Will Go Down In History!
Located in Ticonderoga, NY, on the shores of Lake Champlain, Fort Ticonderoga Events is a wedding venue just north of Lake George, between the Adirondacks and Vermont's Green Mountains. These 2,000 acres of land are rich with history and unique places to hold weddings, social gatherings, or corporate events. FACILITIES & CAPACITY Choose from one of their many venues: the Pavilion, Carillon Boat, King's Garden, Mars Education Center, Mount Defiance, and even the Fort itself! Each venue's capacity varies on event details, so it's best to connect with Fort Ticonderoga's in-house Event Coordinator for more information. THE PAVILION & GROUNDS Historic home and hotel, the Pavilion has a rich past of hospitality and luxury. With a lakefront setting surrounded by a beautifully maintained historic estate is now Fort Ticonderoga's premier location for weddings. Private suites make for the perfect setting to get ready for the day. The building is also great for hosting small meetings, intimate gatherings, and cocktail parties. THE CARILLON Set sail on Lake Champlain aboard the Carillon boat. The boat is perfect for private charters, small ceremonies, and cocktail parties. THE MARS EDUCATION CENTER A modern venue disguised as a Fort, the Mars Education Center is ideal for conferences or romantic, dimly lit receptions. This location features an elegant stairway that descends to the Great Room, located underneath the historic Fort. MOUNT DEFIANCE Ascend to great heights by driving or walking to the top of Mount Defiance. The mountaintop is excellent for hosting a private picnic, casual reception, cocktail party, or ceremony overlooking Fort Ticonderoga. Enjoy spectacular views of Fort Ticonderoga, Lake Champlain, and Vermont's Green Mountains. FORT TICONDEROGA Whether on the top of the bastions or the parade ground, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to host your cocktail party or ceremony within the Fort walls. This location is the perfect addition to your reception or dinner, providing stunning scenery and unique photo opportunities. SERVICES OFFERED The venue's in-house event coordinator works closely with each couple to help them organize their dream day. Get-ready suites are available onsite for soon-to-be-weds and their guests to prepare for the altar in comfort. No matter which venue you select, the staff at Fort Ticonderoga Events will ensure your celebration goes down in history!

Event Coordinator, Julia Nittler, is joining team Ticonderoga to assist with existing programming and to develop a new private events program. After graduating from Champlain College with a degree in Marketing, Julia turned her focus to helping small businesses market themselves. Coincidentally she started working for businesses that helped her develop a passion for designing and planning events. Most recently she has managed a high end catering company, planned events for a Hilton property, and even during COVID worked with JP Morgan as a management consultant.
